4681  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Upbit hacked on: November 27, 2019, 04:13:18 PM
This is what happens when exchanges feel so confident with their internal security and keeping a lot of held assets in their hot wallet.

Funds are not safu on all centralized exchanges. I don't know how many times we should be reminded of this.

It's good that Upbit has enough assets to cover the hacked amount. If it was others, they would have shutdown like what happened to Cryptopia.

When i do hear out that SAFU thing, i do directly think off about Binance.lol.

Its odd that they do held off that big amount on a hotwallet yet we know that majority of top tier exchangers would really keep big allocation of entire balance on an offline.
Good thing that they would cover the hacked amount. Does anyone have any thoughts about for this to be an inside job?
4682  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices are dropping too much... on: November 27, 2019, 03:32:52 PM
Bitcoin prices are dropping too much...
Is there a possibility of a rise in the future?
We wont always have a bear market, so it would be yes. lol
If you say yes, when will the trend turn around?
No one does have the crystal ball to tell on when it would happen. This is why the community do speculate everynow and then.
And how much will Bitcoin prices go up on end of this year?
Each person do have different inputs but if we do talk about my own view then 9k price would already be a good spot for me.
4683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 7 on: November 27, 2019, 03:01:50 PM
Depends! If my entire bankroll been blown up because of hitting that max bet then lost. Then for sure i would really get mad but not to that certain extent of being too exaggerated.
I would definitely tell that it isnt really good to touch things up without any permission.Im not really being too strict but into those kind of scenarios, its always been good to ask permission.
If he done things already and messed up then just forgive and tell him/her that he wont do it next time.
4684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any clue why whales are pumping shit coins at DEX? on: November 27, 2019, 01:42:50 PM
As you know , if you are trading at Dex you could easily see x100 pumps . After that pump, price down to usual point. So what is that meaning?  If any whale wants to collect the tokens, there are many better ways to collect them more cheaper. Any clue ? is that money laundring?

These whales who are the developers themselves know that there is only one way for their shitcoins and shittokens to get attention and it is by pumping them. But this should not be taken as a sign that these shitcoins and shittokens are gaining momentum due to their product. This is a sign that the developers which are mistaken as whales are not doing their proper job. They are choosing to do the easy yet absurd way to raise the price.
And the way is worked because the OP know about it and tell us all here.  Grin I think if there are developers who pump their shitcoin, maybe they have reason for it. Beside to get people's atention, maybe they tired with complain from their investor why the coin not pumped yet. And i think for something like a token or maybe "shitcoins" that pumped in market, shouldn't really surprise with it. Or else we can get FOMOed by that.

Yes, it should not come as a surprise to us. We should not be trapped by all these shady pumps. Sometimes these are done in order to attract the attention of traders and investors. But once they will buy, the prices will begin dumping again. Only the whales are gaining from it. And another thing, it is not hard to pump a shitcoin. A mere $100 is enough for many shitcoins to double their price and volume.
Honestly, sometime it looks like real pump tho.  Grin Maybe that is why a lot of people still trapped, not resist if sometime we can see people trapped in a shitcoin that get pumped. It is natural because sometime if we see a chance, we wouldn't want to missed it and want to make profit with it.

See this scenario for so many times and many people thinks that the coin will pump for more that's why they get trapped for the hype coming at that time that's why we better careful unto this and we should not watch those shits since for sure they are the target of manipulators since they are easy to pump and manipulate by the whales who got bigger pockets.
Small cap coins would really be easy to manipulate and its a common thing for these kind of shit coin pumps and being obviously manipulated by those whales on where this do trigger out
the fomo feeling and when you are just new into this market then most likely you would end up on a trap. Most newbies would really have that perception that the price might even shoot up more
and when they do accumulate those shit tokens then thats the time they would tend to dump. There are no specific signals on which one would be pumped up and if youre lucky
or in connect with some whale then you might have an advantage on getting early.
4685  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: November 26, 2019, 11:52:04 PM
@juggy @milewilda guess our new boy fidel didn't come back this time, but I see familiar faces in the mix for the week. Just need some good old boredom to hit some whale before we see the flood again. I got to say, these prices are biting a lot of people hard. But you know what they say about good footballers and good crypto;) Form is temporary, class is permanent!

Yeah, there are some familiar faces again in the mix. Probably whales are just around the corner and I'm sure they will come back and play for more. Even in a traditional land based I frequented, there are huge players in roulette and slots games, but I don't see them very often. They will just come and go, specially if they've hit huge amounts. And then come back on other days to try their luck again.
As i have posted earlier about the current top players of this week, kolloh is back but ive been waiting for jackal to play ones again. Cheesy
4686  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How anonymous is BTC/Can they find my name? on: November 26, 2019, 10:54:37 PM
May we know the full story of this? I have a bad feeling about the guy since he asked for a name which as said above is not needed in order to send coins.

There are a lot of cases where scammers would twist some stuff about how bitcoin (or anything related) works. Be vigilant.
Same thoughts where that person is just making some invalid way on sending those coins thats why he do ask for a name then give out a reason that the name isnt the same which a possible reason that he wont able to sent those coins back.

We have known these kind of modus in the past.If that guy wont sent out those btc's after she gave out his own wallet address then shes definitely dealing with a scammer.

Maybe that guy is just exchanging names with you. A friendly conversation indeed.

Possible but the guy argue that he do have different account name which we can presume that he's up to something.
4687  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cypto-Forum.net - Get Paid Cryptos for Post! on: November 26, 2019, 10:23:32 PM

Thanks everyone for their opinion and please give us the chance to show everyone how serious we are about the forum. Let time tell.
We get it, you are serious with your intention to bring a quality forum for gambling but having these paid post feature will surely bring you a bunch of spammers. They will definitely make as many account as they want just to make the most out of your payment means. Another thing is, I thought of this as specified forum for gambling why are there discussion for ICOs and Bounties? hmmm
Yes it do have these kind of boards

ICO/IEO Discussion
Exchanges
Bounties
Airdrops and other bounties
Wallets
Mobile Apps
Other Websites

which you can say that this is all-in-one forum.lol
Also, when i do see that multiple russian board it do really reminds me with that yobit forum.
4688  Economy / Speculation / Re: Warning! Here's Why BTC is Set To Fall To 3000 or Lower! on: November 26, 2019, 09:57:29 PM
There is tons of analysis pointing bitcoin wont come near $3k.  I understand you put a lot of thought into it, but TA in crypto is more just a dart at the board at this point.  When singular organizations can manipulate up or down the price all TA goes out the door.  If the forces to be wanted this to love up that's what will happen same the other way around on the downside.  How about if you believe in bitcoin and cryptos longevity just incrementally buy, hold, and not care what the current price of btc is or it's short term moves.
Even for long term you cant still have that kind of assurance to put up on your mind and be confident on future years to time. There would be people whom would prefer on doing shorter trade
on using up TA's most of the time.Just as said where its just like doing dart where those technicals would hit or miss.We cant say  its totally wrong nor not possible but to think that going
that low wont surely happen as of these days.We dipped down but not able to break those lower supports.I wont be surprised if later on there would be some analysis saying breaking the ATH on next weeks to come.lol
4689  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: buying mining hardware from Sesterce.com on: November 26, 2019, 09:07:18 PM
I came across https://www.sesterce.com/mining mining hardware and found many used miners in good condition and at reasonable rates there. The only problem is there are many good and bad reviews about the website.
There are bitcointalk.org threads where I saw the originator saying the problem is resolved but I saw many people giving good and bad reviews about the site.
Is there anyone who had a deal with them and can share his honest opinion?
You can check this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5154455.0 and decide for yourself if its worth the risk to try on.
4690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Damaged salary on: November 26, 2019, 08:20:02 PM
I am not sure what you mean. I really hope that you posted by mistake in gambling, since the other option would be that you've been gambling with money you clearly didn't afford lose, which nobody should do.

I'm talking about how hard it is when you lose everything at stake, what feelings you have, and what decisions you make.
That's exactly how I feel, and I had a strong desire to reach out to these people
Thanks for clarifying it out because i do have the same question after i do read up on whats being posted first on op.So you do pertain with losing all of your 1 month pay by gambling. You would surely mess up and panic out
specially if you do know that money is already allocated for your monthly expenses+needs etc. and then you suddenly lost it all a short period of time thru betting? You would really go into that desperation mode
and since people do have different will and things on mind then circumstances do happen will vary on each personals view and reaction.
4691  Economy / Economics / Re: You want to get rich, don’t pay taxes, don’t get married, don’t use bank, and... on: November 26, 2019, 07:48:33 PM
Dont pay taxes: Its an obligation as a citizen of your country to help for it to progressed and its a mandatory one.Got caught on evading tax? Then you know the consequence.
Well, i cant blame people to have that negative views towards tax handling specially if its a corrupted country.

Dont get married:? The saddest thing to commit on yet you wont live young forever and i dont want to go into a situation where no one would look after me when i get old. lol

Dont get a job? Even if i wanted to but i was born poor which you would need to have one for you to live. You wont have any choice.
4692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are all exchange going to Alive in near future? on: November 26, 2019, 07:12:33 PM
The current currencies are 4849 and Markets are 20850 according to the CMC. Is this really working fairly? I think if it was altered, it would better to get more volume and liqudity. Still thinking, the future of Exchangaes.
You cant expect to have that more volume and liquidity considering on all the number of current exchangers as of this moment. If you do try to count the number of people who do make use of exchangers and
the numbers of the platforms then i would say that its already too much.It doesnt really need nor necessary to have lots of it yet even a few numbers lets say 5-8 exchangers would be enough imho but
people wont really stop on making one yet they do know on how profitable it would be on having an exchange specially if it do able to succeed on getting some users.

4694  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hodler, you motherfucker. on: November 25, 2019, 11:39:04 PM
Ive recently discovered that holding is bad and not having an exit plan is very bad so ive tried trading and after a few days i loss my money but not all of it just the most of it. So right now im back in square where i hold my money because of the bearish market. Even though ive watched tons of tutorials about trading i always get scared when the market turns red now i know what FUD feels like.
When you are just new to trade then the feeling of being scared cant really be avoided but as you gain experience and do know the market well then these kind of emotions wont really be as severe when you are just starting.Hodling isnt bad if you do target out on years time on holding your coins but if you do talk about short term and missing out profits because you hold up then thats an another mistake.Same goes for not cutting loss when dump do happen but this do only applied on alts.

Deal with FUD and FOMO yet these would always exist on this kind of market.Do thing according to your likes as long you would able to profit.
4695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does provably fair environment ensure the survival of gambling houses. on: November 25, 2019, 09:47:03 PM

What am I missing and how we do have lots of gambling houses when provably fair is a neutral to them?

Its never been a neutral thing and the stuff you have missed is the House edge considering that provably fair stuff they wouldnt mind too much as long theres HE this business would becomes profitable no matter what or in the end of the day. Big wins do happen and this is why gambling houses do set maximum wins to prevent their entire bankroll to bust up and its just been a typical part of the management. As more players do hang out on a site and as they wager more money they do earn at the same time.

Heres some explanation about it: https://www.liveabout.com/understanding-the-house-edge-537607
4696  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict Bitcoin! on: November 25, 2019, 09:10:50 PM
Where is that 9k that you were expecting this month? Bitcoin is in 7Kish, so when do you think Bitcoin would reach a certain price of 10Kish by the end of the year? Huh Bitcoin price stayed at 7k and I don't know how long it will last, we're probably not ready for another dump that would result in a 6Kish bottom price. But that would be the best chance to buy and accumulated as much as we can.
Arent you aware that we hit up 6700 price as of today and then recovering once again on the current level of 7000+? 9k isnt really that far to reach but basing on these movements on where we do tank for too long then its hard to believe that we would break out that level of this year but who knows? no one can predict such thing but for sure we would able to hit up but the time is undetermined. For now the best thing to be done is to take advantage of these movements where it do dump and then recover or increase.Im able to profit on a short time when i bought 6700 price then sell off on 7200 which isnt a bad deal after all.Speculations like these are normal and it isnt bad to presume but we shouldnt totally precisely rely on it.
4697  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Working "jobs for bitcoin" sites? on: November 25, 2019, 08:50:07 PM
You can literally just post your services/freelancing skills in any social media website groups specialize in job hunting and ask for crypto as a payment and not rely on websites such as this. Why? You'll land more interested parties in a social media website compared to freenlancing websotes specialize woth crypto since the traffic alone isn't even comparable against the one you will get in Facebook or Twitter. You can even create your own Twitter account for your services or have your own FB page for your services and get a better result.
Why would choose one if you can have both? I agree that traffic on social media sites is incomparable compared to current forums and other freelancing sites but having 2 things is better than just choosing one.If your skills are on a specific area then its better to post first on relevant one- Other than those common freelancing sites xbt etc. I do always look up on https://www.reddit.com/r/Jobs4Bitcoins/.
4698  Economy / Gambling / Re: WavesTokenCasino.com - Play with most common Waves tokens on: November 25, 2019, 08:34:50 PM
Waves is more going through vital development. I hope my site profits from it.

Any ideas about the planned referral system and FAQ?
Indeed i saw your site isn't available for FAQ page and as far i know FAQ usually common answers related to your site such as how to play the game, minimum amount to deposit or withdrawal or provably fair for your site so you can added it into your site and for referral system you can determine by yourself the commissions for affiliate system but more high the comissions then it might be will attract people to promote your site

There is now a "Support"-Button that links to this thread, so a FAQ is not needed right now. Provably fair feature is already there. And with the mandatory use of Waves Keeper, there are no deposits or withdrawals, it is all automated: You get back wins immediately. It is running on-chain.
Since you promote in this forum, FAQs section and support button wouldn't be a problem since we all know that, but have you think of what non-bitcointalk users, outside potential players could ask if ever ? You guys better have FAQs since the website is new, All website has this section to avoid repetitive questions especially on businesses like this. As for what I've seen, try having referral system that will surely boost your user growth but avoid making too easy to abuse. Pretty good in using waves, nicely done and unique.
+1 to this.

Every site or service should really have that FAQ section even if its said that its not really that necessary and as mentioned not all players wouldnt need to visit out such link.Creating a FAQ wont really consume too much time thats why its better to consider on putting one.
Waves platform is good but its quiet rare to see that gambling sites do consider on using up this platform.Goodluck into this one!
4699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: warning be aware from Hitbtc exchange on: November 25, 2019, 08:07:39 PM
These kind of rumours are spreaded around every places and finally when we people continuously checking for it with the team means we need to see the real proof that tell what is happening on this exchange.  If all fine we can confirm that they cannot give proper service to every people in the marketplace.
Its not a rumor but actually an Exchange issue which isnt surprising in likes of Hitbtc or even Yobit itself. These services does really experience issues but the difference compared on top tier exchange is that they do let those issues remain unresolved which would result into negative impressions to the community and Hitbtc is known to that and even their exchange withdrawal is insanely high.So any further issues that other users might experienced to this exchange is somewhat not already a shocking thing. So its better to stick to exchangers like Binance and other top ones.Im not saying its a guaranteed thing to avoid issues but somewhat the rate of having headaches is less.
4700  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Are Women Slowly Leaning On To Crypto Trade? on: November 25, 2019, 07:22:43 PM
Considering women are paid less than men on average, it is totally understandable why they would have less money stashed away to actually invest. Think about it, a man gets paid 100 dollars for something and can save as much as 20 dollars for example (the numbers are made up) well considering women are getting paid 22% less and gets paid 78 dollars for the same exact work, they are down 2 dollars.

So, if living costs 80 dollars, men gets 100 dollars and women gets 78, how could women save money while they need 2 extra dollars while men could save 20 dollars?

Hence, why women can't get into bitcoin as fast as men since they don't have the same amount of power and money as men. There is no correlation between women hiring more women neither unlike one race hires same race more frequently so women have hard time finding enough money to save.

Women can. If the woman will marry the one who gets $100, she saves the $78 if possible.

Women who has enough knowledge in crypto combined to the knowledge they have to the previous industry where they have been could be a stronger attributes to get hired by blockchain companies. Like men, they are also capable of what men can do. Seen some women in crypto conferences and they stood p infront to speak, not all men can actually do it and confidently talk in front.
I dont know why people or majority do have that kind of perception towards women. We cant really remove that gender inequality in all aspects where men do always look down upon women when it comes to all sorts of things without  even thinking or considering that they are capable on what men can do.Well, we know that women are good on different aspect or solely can focused on things which are more simplier and comfortable to them and we know that men would always be the one to look for something hard and the one whose adventurous but actually women can do sort of things too.We can only say or underestimate them because we dont actually see them on doing some sort of things but they are indeed capable of.
