4681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time Will tell on: April 12, 2020, 10:59:42 AM
Crypto regulation is something to give help to minimizing scamming issues but the problem is that this not their priority. I know they are watching how the crypto market develops and how this new digital currency gives a huge influence on the people and to the market as well. May they are not giving much time for crypto and never appreciate it this time but I believe that they'll be changing their minds in the coming days and see the important that crypto can do if the adoption is getting wider.
4682  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on DEX's - What's your experience? on: April 11, 2020, 03:05:51 PM
Been playing around with the Blocknet DEX lately, and it seems like the most activity is on the BLOCK/LTC trading pair. Recently seen some DIVI/BLOCK trading going on as well, but really would love to see more trading on DEX's like this as I personally love to trade without giving up my personal details.

What's your own experiences with DEX's? Which one do you like the most, etc?
[/quote
I'm not really sure if the Blocknet DEX site is new to the market but probably it was. Ain't no wonder why you only see BLOCK/LTC trading pairs because they don't have other coins listed to their platform. It accumulates time for sure and other projects will get listed or the devs would want to get listed to them. I have to say that, you better look for another one. There are a lot of them.

If I am going to use DEX, I've looked at those exchanges that have already a name in the market. The market volume is much important to consider and for sure there are a lot of trading pairs that you could find.
4683  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I sell bitcoin now? on: April 11, 2020, 02:37:04 PM
Everyone is telling that bitcoin is going to 3K. Every news and notifications points that the trend is going towards 3K.
Bitmex CEO is twitting he believes bitcoin could go even as low as 2100, so would it be better to sell my bitcoin now and buy for 50% cheaper?
Seems like everybody are trying their best to decrease the price, it might be better to move with the herd?
It was too early to decide about selling, not this time.
Well, that all be possible but something has to wait and closely observe the market rather than to be affected such news. They are also speculating the market and it might be right or just a FUD ( a whales strategy). If the price will go down close to $4k, I have to sell some of my Bitcoin. But I hope it won't happen and I hope people won't do stupid things about selling their Bitcoins upon seeing this one.
4684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will coronavirus encourage people to use crypto more thoroughly? on: April 11, 2020, 11:55:09 AM
i dont think that people right now are thinking about crypto
You're probably right and there is no way to think about huge crypto adoption. The current situation might be harsh and it feels that people aren't making the investment to crypto because of having unstable market flows. They are probably worried about the future because of what they heard around (bad news) and might changing their appreciation towards the market. Of course, we are more likely confident that the market will move high but wondering if the community will think the same as what we think about.
4685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Very Important Advice for Devs on: April 11, 2020, 11:26:24 AM
The bothering question is, does a good team need to think twice before choosing an exchange? What I mean in essence is, a good team knows what's good for them and since they are serious about their project they will surely go for good exchanges not this ones which have track record of scams, killing projects, pump and dump etc. It is now bad that once I see any project listing on those exchanges, I don't bother reading further or trying to know more, I kindly exit from it because i see it as a waste of time..
Yeah, choosing the best exchange will really matter and could also be a basis for the future of their project. Devs must have to look at which exchanges that could give them assurance and not just being get listed would be enough. Investors will never look for sure those coins that are listed to these exchanges and just simply ignored. They can't see a bright future with them but just a possible losing ends.
If devs have a good intention and certainly want to give the benefits for everyone, they shouldn't make any stupid things that could ruin their reputation.
4686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? on: April 11, 2020, 10:29:09 AM
Maybe we could say that this is the (perfect) time for gambling addicts to come out from addiction but we don't know if they have that thought. I'm not sure if they are taking such action or maybe they will find a way to continue their pleasure in gambling. It is not the pandemic or lockdown that could make them stop but it is all about how much willing they are coz if they want to get out from that addiction, they should have to do it at any time.
4687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: April 10, 2020, 11:49:51 PM
snipped...

I am not doing meditation, but it's like to search or figure out what we are doing in the past, as you say. That is my way to find the mistake in the past, trying to analyze what I've done before, and if it still not better, I will figure out the other way how to solve that. Yes, that is works for me although sometimes I need to have longer to find the solving method for me. This time, it is better if we have more concern about our health first than to search for the pleasure because we are still at the pandemic without knowing when it's over.
Probably right. This is not the time to look for pleasure but rather to focus on what we can do in order to survive from this crisis. The spread of the virus keeps climbing and we are not sure how long this pandemic becoming over. And thinking of gambling is not a thing to prioritize nor it puts in our mind. It might better to find ways to help others who need our help or something to give ( if we have). I was doing meditation just to calm my mind and not badly affected by the pandemic.
4688  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not as risky as many think. on: April 10, 2020, 11:51:58 AM
I would rather be realistic than trying to sugar coat. Bitcoin as safest of all assets? Come on man. Volatility is a big issue, reason why many small investors will be reluctant. They cannot simply afford to lose big. Nevermind tha whales, as they are eager to gamble millions of dollars in any trading market.
Bitcoin is a safe coin at this time and the risk may be greatly reduced if you buy it cheaply. Last month, Bitcoin used to drop to $3800 and that was the price I bought, so please take time to analyze before the uptrend of this market returns. Of course risks can happen at any time, but if you have the knowledge you will never fail here.
Nah, it is not just simply as that. You can never think the risk because you are buying at a cheap price but though you do make it the risk remains. You can see the market makes pumps right after you buy bitcoin nor you are sure as well that it drops. You can't be confident enough that you'll never lose because of that. The volatility feature of the market makes crypto becomes risky and it remains to be like that.

That is why many people had failed because they don't understand the market.
4689  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the government understand? on: April 10, 2020, 05:54:46 AM
Its not the government who need to understand but also the people arround the world, because i believe that using crypto is really quite simple and very much more convenient and safe to users than using fiat. I beleive that son some more government will make believe on it. We really need crypto for good.
Surely it does and the government will appreciate crypto and gives support for it. May this thing will happen if they'll find out how the people being satisfied with the use of crypto. Crypto has a reason for its existence and the willingness of the people to adopt the new market system isn't strong enough to push the government to believe as well and this I may think that makes them doubtful as they can't clearly see that crypto seems to be helpful for everybody.
4690  Economy / Reputation / Re: Three, the Sr. Member account is cheating in the BestChange campaign. on: April 09, 2020, 10:36:15 PM
I don't know how YOSHIE links us to have a connection. And I really don't know them.
No I did not connect you to them, but this is strange to me, you send btc to the same address as other people, that's not good.

At a glance, I see there are hundreds of accounts like this, this is intolerable for your local exchange.

I also gave an example of my transaction, but it still ran to my main address.

Not as I see it, this is a mess, that's all if members in the Philippines use coin.ph purses, like this, everything is messy, you are accused of being all Alt accounts. Strange exchange at your place.

This is an experience for you in the Philippines, to change this way of exchanging, connecting with one another, it doesn't make sense to me, there are hundreds of accounts that use the same address.

Glad you explained it, i will edit this topic.

I spend time, but the results are more chaotic, messy.
Example: https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/15amswyih862g2SzMg1Fxf8nwXDoutxhwF

I remember @ cabalism13 once made a topic about the address coin.ph.
Topic: Question About Using Another BTC Address...
Thank you for hearing me (us)...
I'm also glad of your hard work letting me(us) know that coins.ph making us all users of this exchange connected to one other.
I don't expect that though...
4691  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin set to RISE into the Halving? on: April 09, 2020, 10:08:05 PM
I supposed to think the market will surely rise during halving similar to the previous halving even but maybe we unlucky this time as a crisis appears in the global market and ruin everything including crypto. But despite this struggle and market difficulties, I'm still thinking about the possibilities that the market will surge high, in fact, we are moving at high after a huge dump last month. But we don't expect that we are in bullish this coming halving, $8k-$9k is a way to make possible.
4692  Economy / Reputation / Re: Three, the Sr. Member account is cheating in the BestChange campaign. on: April 09, 2020, 09:30:05 PM
I think you are mistaken here. All the address used here is part of wallet : https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/00000dd86b2f6402/addresses which contains more than 2 million addresses and someone to hold that much addresses would be insane. IIRC I think that is coins.ph wallet.

You are right mate, this is a coins.ph wallet.  And this is like a coin mixer (or an exchange as well) which you can see a lot of addresses appear when you make withdrawals.
May other Filipino members here can justify this how coins.ph work.

I don't know how YOSHIE links us to have a connection. And I really don't know them.
4693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad projects equals Bad results on: April 08, 2020, 02:21:59 PM
True as you say if the project is good then the value of the selling until now persists but we are very difficult to find such a project, we often find projects that run but ultimately the token is not worth it, then we as gift hunters are very disappointed with such circumstances, we expect to go forward all projects can get satisfactory results.
Nothing has changed. This means that you can't magic the results, the bad projects will surely result nothing while good projects will succeed. People will make an investment that they feel or it looks that project is promising. They can't be fooled by now as I believe that they had learned already from their mistake before. Crypto communities are in combat against fake and scam project, it surely they won't succeed and be failed.
4694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: April 07, 2020, 11:35:56 PM
It is best to do meditation at this time and time to figure out what we are doing in the past days and tried to turn back in the old days.
Of course, I still visiting gambling sites as a normal thing I do before the lockdown. Many people say that it increases the numbers of online gamblers but aren't be looking at that because of the situation. Maybe I have to say that this is not a perfect time to think about spending money but to save some.
4695  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TOP 6 RULES IN CRYPTO TRADING on: April 07, 2020, 11:12:26 PM
Before entering into trading, everybody will set up some rules and regulation of their money. Once the market situation changes, it is impossible for us to follow the rules and regulation, I tried myself to control my emotions, but once the prices start decreasing, it is impossible for me to follow my beginning rules and regulations.

Everyone does as I believe but it is more different when you in an actual scenario. We might say that is easy to control our emotion and we have already a plan but something it is really hard to be consistent with it especially when we are in the hard times. The only thing that could help us to be with and stick on the plan is to keep calm so we can make the right decision. This is a common failure that most traders struggle with.
4696  Economy / Speculation / Re: Comeback for the bitcoin on: April 07, 2020, 10:53:33 PM
To be serious, a lot of people never knew this, they had the opportunity to invest in Bitcoin when the price decreased but they never did, instead they kept panicking and lost the opportunity. Of course I have invested in Bitcoin earlier at $6000 before the price reached $8000+ and dropped back during the pandemic.
~~~
It's not that they don't want to take a chance. For some people, this extreme price change is quite risky, even though the price is cheap, it will be cheaper. If you have a reserve fund, it is indeed the right choice to buy BTC. However, these low prices occur in the midst of a pandemic, some people choose to hold fiat as a priority to meet needs during this difficult time.
Yeah, the current pandemic outbreak holds people to use their money and invest with crypto. They are much giving more concern about what will happen next as the virus keeps spreading. The current market pumps are probably because there is an increase in crypto users. We may say that this time is the perfect time to see that role of crypto and that might happen by now.
4697  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Finally Broken Out From Daily Resistance Level on: April 07, 2020, 10:26:24 PM
It all the way in the full recovery (it hope so). The chart shows an overwhelming market movement but still, we can't sure about the incoming.
$7.7k is a long way back to $10k, $14k where we leave early this year but if this trend will continue we might say that halving pushing the market to move. But I believe that some of us here still have their doubts since the pandemic isn't over yet.
Anyway, whatever it happens in the coming days, I'm still not losing my hopes that we end up this quarter at a good price and may halving could help.
4698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH hits $160, after a +11% gainer in the last 24 hours on: April 07, 2020, 10:04:09 PM
Not quite unusual for me knowing the capability of Ethereum to change like that and still a lot of people are giving their all put support. Ethereum is always in the tail of Bitcoin and no wonder why it moves high as Bitcoin did it first. If we bought ETH last month, we are probably gaining but I don't think that many people did this because we are now at the crisis which is our first priority than investing. The momentum will continue if Bitcoin won't fall back as the halving comes closer. $200 is not impossible...
4699  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic outcome on: April 07, 2020, 02:41:44 PM
The pandemic isn't stopping till now and this not a perfect time to involve at any high-risk investment but rather to save our money for the possible worse scenario that might happen in the coming days of this outbreak won't be settled down. It was unfortunate that the coming halving will help to rally the market surging it high but it possible that we still be at low, unlike the previous halving. I'm not saying that I was hopeless but I have to think that we might see more dumps if more people will turn into panic selling again.
4700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has the price of Altcoin stopped in one place? on: April 07, 2020, 11:56:02 AM
It is so sorry but that is not what I see in the market.
Altcoin won't stop in one place or to a certain price range. Crypto marker never had that feature but instead, it looks more volatile compared before. We are not longing at the bottom because at any time of the day we even have to move high. And when it regards to the price movement, they move freely and I believe that more people will come to invest in crypto when the market is down and to take advantage while the other is selling.
