4681  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: any opinions about the recent btc price crash? on: May 24, 2021, 02:14:58 PM
Whales just want to buy bitcoin at a cheaper price. The fuds few days ago were planned by those people to shake the weak hands and create panic selling. Institutions are not even selling so there is no reason to do it and lt is not also the end of bull run like what others say. Cryptos are very volatile so we should not be surprised with these events and get used to it. Just buy the dip like everyone is saying when these crash are happening. Market will not always go down, here in crypto world the one with the strong hands to hodl is the one who wins in the end.
4682  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullrun Done? on: May 24, 2021, 12:51:17 PM
I don't think bull run is over. Institutions are still not selling and just continue to accumulate. If you are here in crypto since 2017, the crash few days ago won't easily affect you. This is even a good opportunity to buy because many altcoins went down more than 50% so gaining large profit from those will be very achievable. It is Monday now and market seems started to show some recovery. We are not even in the last quarter of the year yet so there is still so much to happen.
4683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sometimes wonder whether Bitcoin has established a religion. on: May 24, 2021, 11:10:50 AM
So with this logic, we say that investing in cryptocurrencies is a religion because they are speculative currencies. We invest in different cryptos because we believe in their project and will bring us good fortune in the future. People that still rejects the concept of crypto are atheists (LOL).

It's bad to see bitcoin as a religion, no one worships it like they put their future on it. Bitcoin is just an investment and also currency that has a lot of potential in the future to change our world in terms of blockchain technology.

The only religion I can think of that is related to crypto is Dogecoin army, many people invested in it without really knowing the background. They are just being influenced by Elon and believes him on what he says on his social media.
4684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to seek help if you need; concerned with gambling addiction. on: May 24, 2021, 10:20:47 AM
Agreed, self discipline is the right thing that can make an user get out of gambling addiction. There were more and more number of counseling session providers charging certain amount as fee. There are very few number of gamblers who have come out of addiction through such motivational counseling session participation.

Until and unless an user himself have self discipline and self control it is impossible to get out of gambling addiction.

If you are really an addicted type of gambler, it is very difficult to quit gambling with self-discipline alone. Your mind always tells you that you should gamble on that day because you will win some big amounts. Having someone that is professional in this field can help you to have more control over yourself. Why would you bother if they charge a fee if you can even afford to lose it in gambling in just a day? Just make sure that they have really a background of it and not just someone who is a self-proclaimed psychologist.
4685  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many got REKT :( on: May 23, 2021, 05:38:42 AM
Many didn't expect the crash few days ago, confident traders didn't set their stop loss even if the liquidation price is far. I don't think many secured their funds with the crash because $2b were liquidated from that based on the news. This should serve as a lesson to all traders especially to those who are doing leverage trading to always set their stop-loss. No matter how good the market is going, if a fud will show one after another this will surely make the market dump hard. I only trade on spot so I should just hodl for now and accumulate more if possible.
4686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becareful with Meme Coins on: May 23, 2021, 04:14:41 AM
These type of coins are quick in & out, only the first 5-10 mins buyers will earn from this. If it already pumped a lot then I suggest don't put your money on it. If ICO was popular last bull run, meme coins are now the thing that makes some people earn some big amounts. I think these coins became popular because of binance smart chain and DeFi platforms now, creating tokens under bsc and listing them on those platforms can be done easily and not that expensive. I think the term rugpull was also created because of these meme coins.
4687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What online betting company you know gave you a b'day present? on: May 23, 2021, 03:11:52 AM
This is the second year in a row that I'm receiving money in my 1xBet balance as a birthday present. Last year it was around 10$, I managed to turn it to 60$ and lost it all at once. This year I got around 20$, tripled it, and withdrew lol. The funny part is I did not make any deposit since November last year. Kinda nice of them, don't you think? Does a bookmaker you play on do something sort of this apart from free slot spins that you can redeem your winnings (play x game and double your winning in case you win or play z game and get back 50% of your bet in case you lose) only by playing your own money later?

Tried many platforms but they didn't give anything if it is my birthday. Some platforms only offer some bonuses to a particular game they have not a fiat amount where you can use to any games. Do they still give this kind of bonus to their new users? Lucky for those early players who were able to create their account on that platform last year, users can enjoy that bonus amount during their birthday and if luck is on their side it could give them decent profits for them to celebrate.
4688  Economy / Speculation / Re: Traders, y'all buying, selling or on the fence? on: May 22, 2021, 02:00:59 AM
I'm buying now some altcoins that has a big potential to double on the next bull run with their current price now like UNFI, CHZ, ENJ. Those coins increase a lot from the previous rally so I think they have a big potential to make a new ATH in the next few months, they are also active in improving their cryptocurrency's use case which is good for long term. With the current state of the crypto market, it won't make sense if you will just panic sell because of fuds spreading lately.
4689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should you buy bitcoin right now? on: May 22, 2021, 01:06:20 AM
With the current price now I think it is good to buy bitcoin, this is a good time for those who miss the previous rally because with the current ATH we are ranging $35k-$40k or 40% down already. Once the market shows signs of reversal, it will be easy to gain profit of more than 10% from this point, not just bitcoin only but to altcoins as well. I don't think we can go lower than $30k, we quickly bounce from that area few days ago and bitcoin outflows is increasing from exchanges which means whales are preparing for the next bull run.
4690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the martingale system sucks! (doubling down on losses) on: May 22, 2021, 12:18:55 AM
Martingale is a double-edged strategy. You double your bet everytime you lose and with this strategy you can easily recover your loses from the previous bet in just a single win but if luck is not on your side, your capital can still be all eaten if you keep hitting lose streaks. I've tried this technique when I was new in crypto gambling and it only works once. And if you manage to double your bankroll using this strategy I suggest that to stop playing or else the house will get back what you've won.
4691  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader took his own life after the recent huge dump on: May 20, 2021, 05:56:01 AM
This is why important to have risk management when doing leverage trading. My friend also got liquidated with the recent crash, all his profit including the capital from the start of the year on leverage trading went to waste. I only know him online and I hope he is doing okay. Leverage trading is really risky even if you have big capital. Even if your liquidation price is far and didn't put a stop loss thinking that is impossible to go that low, if market dumps like this there is a high chance you will get liquidated.
4692  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price goes down below 40K and how much it may go down? on: May 20, 2021, 04:52:53 AM
how much more may go down or market will recover form now? if require how many time require?

what is good for now, buy or sell? my tendency is, if more go down, i will sell now or if not go down start to recover from this price, i will buy now.

No one really knows the answer to your questions. What I suggest is to do dollar-cost-averaging on this dip if you still have money to buy because if the price goes up but you sold your coins thinking that the market will dump more then you will just lose more amount of that coin when you buy it back at a higher price. If you are not able to buy now then just hodl it, this is not even a bear market and some of us patiently hodled our coins way back 2018-2020. There is no reason to sell at loss.
4693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge is to hold should not be trading on: May 20, 2021, 03:50:55 AM
I strongly believe Doge will be a sustainable incremental coin, with the help of Tesla. And I believe in the management of Elon Musk, the number 1 billionaire in the world. Do you guys agree with me that Doge is the world's largest community-owned coin. And the US and EU communities are very fond of Doge

Only doge believers that learned crypto because of Elon will agree with this. Dogecoin has unlimited amount of supply so holding it for long term is like gambling in a lottery. I don't believe it will reach the $1 target they want and even if it does many would be prepared to dump their coins to it and early holders will easily become millionaires. The top 10 holders didn't even move yet so the price can dump anytime. Dogecoin only became famous because of Elon this year and I don't think he really likes dogecoin, he just uses it as a distraction to buy more bitcoin to fund his SpaceX project.
4694  Economy / Economics / Re: We entered a bear market earlier than expected on: May 20, 2021, 03:08:11 AM
I don't think this is already a bear market. Recent dump was because a lot of fud has been spreading lately and many people are affected by it that they start to panic selling. This is a big opportunity for many people to buy at the current price of bitcoin and altcoins and I'm sure many whales who didn't got to the previous rally are waiting for this moment. Plus I don't think we will go below $30k at this point. Once market goes up again, 20% gain would be very achievable.
4695  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk really has the ability to manipulate the bitcoin market on: May 20, 2021, 01:41:14 AM
I don't know how this started and when he started to promote dogecoin on his twitter. But I think this began when his company Tesla bought a large amount of bitcoin and will accept also it as a payment to buy their car, Tesla is a big and popular company in the technology field and this attracted many people to get interested in cryptocurrencies, not just bitcoin. Then the dogecoin craze happened, it pumped more than 20 cents in less than 3 months that surprised many people in crypto. When he announced Tesla won't accept bitcoin anymore, many people started to panic selling. It's like he don't know at first before buying bitcoin how it is really mined. I'm sure he and his company is buying these dips and I hope people will stop listening to him anymore when he talks about crypto.
4696  Economy / Speculation / Catalyst for recent bitcoin dump on: May 20, 2021, 12:55:19 AM
I wonder what really triggered the price of bitcoin to dump this hard. From its ATH of $65k to $30k, that is already more than 50% dump. I don't think Elon Musk is the only one responsible for this because I often read people only blaming him. It's like ghost month came earlier than we expected.

And also, if institutions and many people are buying this dip then who are these people selling their bitcoin all the way down to earlier's dump. If these people are new to crypto and are panic selling, can it really drive the price this low?
4697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ohio offering lottery prize worth one million for those that get the COVID shot on: May 19, 2021, 11:59:44 PM
This is a good way to get people vaccinated and will also help other business establishments to go back to normal. The risk of getting covid in that town will surely decrease as well as mortality rate. But even if they are vaccinated I hope they don't get confident that they won't contract the virus again or else the lottery's effort will go to waste. I don't know why some people still hesitate to get the vaccine, their mind is filled with misinformation from social media. People who died when they got the vaccine are only isolated case and most of them are already old so they are not able to handle the side effects, if you are old enough, for me it is better to not get vaccinated for now.
4698  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla stops car purchases with Bitcoin on: May 19, 2021, 10:38:07 AM
I don't understand why this caused a dump and their reason for it is not even making sense. They should already know at first how bitcoin are mined and how it affects the environment, they just probably want to buy more at cheaper price so they just spread negativity about it. More people just lose trust on him on how he can manipulate the market the way he wants. And who would buy a tesla using bitcoin where it is a good long-term investment. If I can afford to buy it, I would just pay in cash.
4699  Economy / Speculation / Re: Am I the only one who wants to see BTC > $75K and Dogecoin < 5 cents or lower? on: May 19, 2021, 09:30:31 AM
Bitcoin above $75k is really possible in the near future but what is your aim if dogecoin goes below 5 cents? Are you also planning to load your bags of it expecting to reach again a price of 20 cents above. Dogecoin's increase was greatly influenced by Elon, if it was not for him I don't think it will reach its current ATH now. And many people that are into crypto for a long time didn't expect to increase like that. Investing into dogecoin is like a gamble for me, if Elon continues to hype it then you gain profit. If not you will lose a big amount of money, I'd rather invest it in a different altcoin that has a real project and continues development.
4700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Trust this type Offer on: May 19, 2021, 06:38:30 AM
Hello Everybody, Today i received a mail from Yobit on my Inbox and i see the massage was very interesting. I can Earn 2% Daily interest for my Bitcoin.  If i deposit One Bitcoin on their Exchange,  then i can Earn daily 2% interest for my Bitcoin.

This is obviously a scam. They even want you to deposit an exact amount of 1 bitcoin which value fluctuates very much. Does someone still believe in this type of offer, they will earn without doing anything and achieve ROI in less than 2 months which is already too good to be true. I would just buy an altcoin like $CAKE worth with that price and stake them on their platform. That is a legit passive income and with the current price of bitcoin and if you're living in a 3rd world country, it is already equivalent to minimum wage that you can earn daily if my calculations are correct.
