What were they playing, surely not football  Grin

JK, but imagine you had the balls to put something on over let's say 10 goals before the match started, would have been a nice multiplier. If any bookie even offered such high margins.
Even if a bookie had to offer 10 or more goals for the Dutch squad, the odds would not be as absurd as you may think. I'd say 8.00 to 10.00 tops, the Dutch are regarded as one of the strongest teams in this tournament, they are vice-champions from the last world cup (2019 France), the pre-match line was around 4.5 / 5.5, they beat a semi-decent team of Norway 7-0 in their last friendly lol, my point, there were many goals expected in this match.

Zambian team with almost no friendlies played in preparation for the Olympics, complete underdogs at +15000, with the exception of their captain, who was actually pretty great, the others are absolutely god awful, including their center backs and goalie, who were comical. If the Dutch had not substituted their best player and goalscorer, Miedema, the game could have turned out even uglier.

There's money to be made here... Grin

I wanted to comment on this last week but totally forgot, I really think sometimes like the women's team in USA asking for higher salary than the men's is a bit out of context. I mean no disrespect to women's football but we all can see clearly the quality is so different.

And if you ever see US men play Gambia men it will never be like this.

So performance based pay, which is what women's team say makes them deserve to get paid more, is silly because you are a playground bully in most games.
4682  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto Exchange Binance Launches Tax Reporting Tool on: July 30, 2021, 01:04:49 PM
Seems like Binance want to become the biggest CEX ever by cooperate with many regulations, the third party could ask more KYC of Binance user since in tax reporting they need a lot identity to calculate the correct taxes. I wonder if it's really free to use the tax reporting tool since hiring a reputable accountant to calculate the tax isn't free.

Actually, I believe they already kind of are the biggest CEX. Minus American customers, there is no other exchange with as deep liquidity as you can find on Binance, and that's just what people put on the orders, I believe Binance themselves are capable of injecting more if they want to step in.

Sooner or later they have to "play fair" about regulations though. It's something unavoidable in this scene.
4683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is recovering, what steps are you taking? on: July 30, 2021, 11:57:55 AM
If you have bought at its dip then you have now profit of 30% in BTC, the market is now looking good and I am bow expecting that BTC will reach $100k within this year. As of this current price this is still worth of buying. Always grab the opportunity when you see a dip then buy it right away as bitcoin will never be dead and will increase its price year by year.

Actually if you bought every dip this year and sold every time at 35k even you'd have made triple the BTC AND now gained 30%. But there you have it right? Trading looks so tempting and everyone sharing their wins but when you try it, you realize no one can predict these dips and recoveries, so best to just hold and keep the regular buy periods. Then you always win no matter what.
4684  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC broke through 33,500 USDT on: July 30, 2021, 11:22:45 AM
^^ Yeah, but it's going to be a slow grind after breaking $40k. Breaching it and sustaining this price level is two different things. So we need to see how long can we sustain it without going back and retesting $38k-$39k.

So far the price seems to hold and the bulls are not going to give back the control of the market to the bears. But as I have said, the growth might slow down a bit and only if we have enough momentum to push it above $40k to $43k remains to be seen.

Looks like we had another pullback right now. Not so bad actually, not sure what's going on, probably just a lot of people deciding they want to take profit at 40k instead of waiting for the weekend.

Would have been really cool to stay above for many days but now we've to see if we're going back to support again.
4685  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Direct Sending of Coins to another Coin Wallet. on: July 30, 2021, 09:43:22 AM
...Example = i have Ethereum and i want to receive Ripple , in which i don't need to convert to Ripple first before sending in which i can directly sent the ethereum and i will receive ripple to my wallet?

I have not yet met such a cryptocurrency exchange on which the transaction described by you would be available. This type of transaction is implemented by the exchange FTX.com only for stablecoins other than USDT. Thus, having BUSD on your account, you can send them and receive them on another USDC exchange.

I have heard/read about this type of transfer, but I don't think it's ever possible for an exchange. Some casinos I believe do this type where you deposit in one crypto and receive in fiat or other crypto, without exchanging but the spread they charge is worse than the exchange fee/commission. So I would even rather say just do the exchange first takes you 5 seconds:)
4686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: July 30, 2021, 09:10:42 AM
Carlo Ancelotti can grow up player and discover a new position for them. He helped Pirlo to become one of greatest Italian players. Before the transfer to AC Milan, Pirlo got troubles to show his best skills under many coaches. Till the day Ancelotti put Pirlo into a new position in AC Milan.

Another example on how one player can be changed, that is Harry Kane in Spurs. Before the last season with Mourinho, we never seen great passing skills from Kane. With Mourinho, in the last season, Kane is a best assist player in Premier League. It is a great discovery from Mourinho.

I think if Odegaard stays in Real Madrid, at least one season, Ancelotti can help him.

I have to agree here, Mou isn't as old and irrelevant as they say, he just has to change his overall team tactics and be a bit more positive but his player management is pretty good. Remember what he did for Eden Hazard as well. Kane's passing in EURO was magnificent BUT sometimes you also have to question if he was meant to be a provider as his best skill was in front of goal. Still, it was super to see him play those type of passing which was very low to the ground and splitting defence like crazy.
4687  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BlockFi Interest? on: July 30, 2021, 07:56:24 AM
Yea im aware of this.  They do verification right... blockfi?

So what other sites can i use where there is no restriction?  Im from the US but from a restricted state... but im abroad basically almost all year though.

It's still banned for you in that case. They do verification. Just look up Bitmex to understand how far your government will chase you if you bypass this restriction:)

Your only hope now is to "wrap your Bitcoins" so you can stake them in one of the defi earning pools but this still needs you to trust some defi algorithm. Which I think isn't a great move in any case judging from MakerDAO people losing all their money during extreme market crashes.
4688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bye Bye Bitcoin on: July 30, 2021, 07:26:10 AM
Obviously some people have not done their research. Do they realize that many governments and people in the past have already tried to ban Bitcoin? I mean, go ahead and ban it. If people can overcome censorship from internet and great wall of china, then what makes you think people can't find a way to access Bitcoin on their own?

All the tools are out there, anyone can access. That's the beauty of Bitcoin.
4689  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Staking Platform on: July 30, 2021, 05:54:10 AM
I think Blockfi got some guys criticizing it because it didn't want to show proof of reserves, plus had no insurance (this was sometime last year though don't know if they got it today). It is the preferred platform of big media influencers though.

Nexo on the other hand seems to have Bitgo/Lloyds insurance, but I think it was really low like $100 million, which obviously seems to me that if it goes down, people only get back a fraction of their deposits:)

It's not just that though. They're being asked to offering interest-bearing accounts in New Jersey because if I understand correctly, they're taking advantage of some sort of loophole that they're able to take advantage of just because they're using cryptocurrencies(not fiat).

Saw your response late. I don't really see anything wrong with people legally taking advantage of loopholes. I mean, I know things like tax exemption which all the businesses do are morally wrong but this is the fault of the state who makes laws that benefit the rich, eventually if people fight hard enough the regulations can change about that.

Anyway, I am now picking up some time over next few weeks to see if I can dig up more about blockfi/nexo and others.

But for now, Bitcoin safe in my wallet.
4690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BUSTaBNB |fully immersive iGaming and DeFi platform built on Binance Smart Chain on: July 30, 2021, 05:13:06 AM
Aren't Bustabit and it's analogues losing popularity? I don't know well but on another hand, it looks a very nice move from you. Binance and it's coin BNB is booming, it's the best time to change the name Bit with the name BNB and focus on it (but at the same time we have an era of casinos that don't focus only one coin and offer customers the multiple altcoins).
Also, Binance has its casino, so, I think it will be hard for you in future to compete with it - bplay.org

On another hand, UI is simple and nice, very different from every bustabit analogue. Wish to test it as soon as possible.

You mean crash games? I would have thought so myself but every time I forget about it, crash games or a variety or version of it keep popping up so no, I don't think they are getting less popular.

It's Dice I think that still gets people crazy.

It's going to be some time before I'm convinced about BNB, but it sure as hell helps to have casinos offering it. I'm just not yet sure how much I trust the BSC chain itself:)
4691  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need help with trading on: July 29, 2021, 07:11:33 PM
The true test is to consistently make money in any market condition. Which is what most people can't.

You're a trader if you can.
Beginners luck. OP, sorry I know that's a heartache if you got greedy after that. Which is mostly the case. You win, you think you are good at it and it happens to starters most of the time. It did happen to me too. Thankfully, I am the kind of trader that easily gets happy with a little profit and I didn't put it back to any coin. I used the money as cash and savor it.  Cheesy
What you can do is try to forget whatever you had loss and try to start all over again. Just use what you experienced as a learning point and avoid whatever emotion you felt that time.

Or, remember what you lost and take the lesson that tells you: hello sir, you're NOT a trader. So please don't make this your life and take away all the joy of actually holding, using and Dollar Cost Averaging your stash:)

Seriously, OP, stop trading, you're clearly not built for it and there's no shame in that because very, very few of us are.
4692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is recovering, what steps are you taking? on: July 29, 2021, 06:34:17 PM
Market now starting to improve and already hitted again $40k Bitcoin price , I already think that when bitcoin would again hitted $50k then I would sell half of my Bitcoin and some altcoins. But I don't sell my researved Binance coin.
Just hope that Bitcoin can be at a price of $50K in the near future, because when Bitcoin is at a price of $50K, Altcoins will also experience a good price increase even though it will not come close to the ATH price that has been achieved before.

Just because we "hitted" A doesn't mean we're going to "hitted" B. I'm happy we're staying near 40k, but we need to spend a full week ABOVE it to seriously look at next steps and it's very uncertain if this will happen.

I'm still going to sell what I need this month, no more no less than usual. Just hope it doesn't crash badly tomorrow;) *CME futures*
4693  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC broke through 33,500 USDT on: July 29, 2021, 06:00:52 PM
Nah, no way. I said yesterday even if it's true, this kind of news shouldn't affect the market because it actually does nothing for Bitcoin adoption. Doesn't create more users, just maybe makes a few more transactions possible from Bitcoin users that already exist.

Plus now Amazon itself has denied the story is true, so it's definitely not that.
However I have to say that if amazon actually accepted it, they would create a bit more interest towards crypto, why? Because you can buy many things from amazon that could be good for your daily life as well, not just some ebay type of place.

Maybe, maybe not. But you know, Microsoft once opened up Bitcoin (years ago). They didn't get any sales. And in many countries now you have food deliveries that can be paid in Bitcoin (I believe the JustEat gang in Europe has this), but ask all these defi users and altcoin holders and Bitcoin speculators if they ever actually paid for anything in BTC? No they just "HODL the stacks".

But okay, I agree. If it had been true, it would be bigger. Which is why I said if it were real BTC usage, plus censorship removal, then it'd be big.
4694  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Staking Platform on: July 29, 2021, 04:59:17 PM
I've been keeping an eye on Nexo ever since this thread started, and I actually went ahead with Nexo (you might remember it, as you responded here).

Nexo still haven't won me over BUT they do seem the best of the worst (custodial being the bad thing here). They've increased their insurance, displayed all their licenses and apparently are working on a proof-of-reserves solution that any client can access in real time.

I will update the thread there shortly now that I'm reminded, there's been quite a bit going on with them since then to improve their offering (bigger insurance, more licenses, proof of reserves) Wink

Ah ha okey, thanks, I do remember this thread:) And yes even I looked into NEXO at the time but I also felt the insurance was much too low. Now the funny thing is they're operating in Europe and US and even in UK (which I mention because of the Brexit thing). But now that I checked your update and saw myself the list of licenses they put out, why aren't any in European Union? Isn't that illegal then?
4695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The real reason I got into bitcoin on: July 29, 2021, 04:28:54 PM
My original reason for joining bitcoin is to earn money to have a fuller life, can buy a house, buy a car but my capital is not enough to do that, I want to use my money to invest or what can be profitable and fortunately i know bitcoin through friends, after a while i feel bitcoin market is very good to invest and i started to invest, now i have made a lot of money from this investment.

Geez, that sounds like the list of reasons anyone would have said when they got into an MLM on Ponzi. No offence, but I guess I know why people are complaining on reddit or forums when they say people look at them funny when they talk about why/how they got into Bitcoin:)

Nothing wrong with that of course, I also have similar dreams. But that's not really how I got into it. I wanted to gamble;)
4696  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Staking Platform on: July 29, 2021, 07:26:51 AM
BlockFi seems to be the platform with more reputation. But since the recent news we're getting with back to back regulatory issues, I wouldn't recommend it or any staking platform in general (I wasn't really a fan of any of em in the first place).

Personally, I'm happy with just holding my bitcoin on my non-custodial wallet and simply just waiting for the price to appreciate.

So this is supposed to be Bustadice but using BNB and built on BSC huh? Could be interesting for those already into Defi and all that staking nonsense:P

I might take a look, been looking for places to go into investor bankroll other than Bitvest, and I'm so not keen on defi but maybe a good idea for this kind of trial.
4698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu vs. Dogecoin. Who is the Lead Dog of the Pack? on: July 28, 2021, 06:11:28 PM
Neither of them can guarantee, for now, all back to The King BTC . And you're still busy with shitcoins it's clear they've seen what it's doing to the market. SHIBA and DOGE only destroy market conditions. Taking advantage of influencers and investors to attract a large number of fans, after that, being framed for exile, do you still want to stick with the whole charade?

I suppose it's not clear for most people. I mean, I'm still seeing people getting super excited on memecoins and nfts that are practically clones with just "Inu" or some other variation tagged to it.

DOGE I still think is OK (minus the manipulation). I mean it still taught me and others about wallets, for example.
4699  Other / Archival / Re: Amazon news is a banal market manipulation on: July 28, 2021, 04:54:52 PM
The squeeze is really devastating, with a lot of liquidations.

Nah. Come on. BTC went from 30 to 40k and then dropped to 36k where it seems to be holding steady. That to me is devastating for the bears who've been trying for so long to keep things below 30k and then BTC went and touched 40k again in the past 24 hours. It didn't last but it's a big sign that the buyers aren't giving up any time soon.

That's the result of short term manipulation and for me its really good to see thay happens since its a fear killer and for sure many traders are now confident that we cannot see more deeper figures as bitcoin went to that figures. Although the price didn't go far as we think but this is really a big sign that there are more great things will happen in future.

Yeah I'm not a fan of manipulation but can't deny that's happening everywhere and it's what makes the market so exciting for those who like the short-term volatility. But, again, yesterday had nothing to do with a devastating squeeze and the fact that we're back up today, in fact, looking stronger than yesterday's reactions, proves that:)
4700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the next bubble? NFT! on: July 28, 2021, 04:20:16 PM
I think PYR could be the next bubble. The price isn't really high right now and i think the price will rise very soon, i see the main telegram on Vulcan Forged the admin said PYR will rise $10 in the end of this month, i don't know why the admin is very confidence saying like that.
Lol, you didn't find out about them.  NFT game genres in Vulcan are very diverse, the most favorite is still Build, Play, Stake, 20m$ for P2E is a very attractive reward for creative gamers, it is an extremely hot genre today.  and the future.  They released the Beta and when they run the Final after, P2E... I'm sure the price will go up very quickly, not just $10.
They have a strong, real user base.  As an army, I'm not a fan of games but their 3D quadrant graphics are amazing!

I really, really have to check out what you guys are talking about. I know NFT hype is crap but gaming hype lives forever, doesn't it?

Now the real question here is, if you DO NOT have a good gaming PC, in fact, you have a very low end PC built mainly for work and ok has an integrated graphics card, could you still play this socalled game as well as others and earn?
