I would recommend also members, who are not too often participants in signature campaigns to avoid conflicts of interest (although there are many honorable members, who are also active in signature campaigns.).
If you can't objectively asses and handle your own conflicts of interest, that doesn't mean that others can. Therefore, this suggestion is bullshit and similar to "women quotas" in companies. The people that are best qualified should get the relevant position, and similarly for DT, the people that are active, properly tagging people and have valid stances should be put there.

I think The Pharmacist is a good choice and it would also be nice if we would get some active people for the altcoin section to tag people there.
The problem is a lack of reports. Nobody can patrol that huge cesspool anyways.
4702  Economy / Reputation / Re: Forums stand in regards to users that have free Tx accelerators threads on: November 13, 2017, 01:33:34 PM
This all could have been prevented if you would have just said in the title [Free Slots Available] instead you misused the word 'Free' in my opinion, Also i think you overdid the 'Tip asking' part. You made it clear regarding the tip in your original post so why ask every time you accelerated for someone? I consider that begging.
No, nothing would have been prevented as this guy is a known ban evader, troll, and to a certain extent, a scammer. Read the reference rating on him, and his previous account(s).

If someone has done some work, it no begging at all .
You are leaving negative ratings to people who say they will tip, but don't end up doing so. Therefore, your service is most definitely not free.
4703  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 13, 2017, 10:09:10 AM
Is he a developer? He was in here shilling for BCH at 0.45!
He's a BU developer / promoter, and a centralization shill that wants to push 1 GB blocks onto the network. I guess NSA and Google will be the ones running nodes in Peter R's version of Bitcoin. Roll Eyes

Lauda  - where do you get this data from? Is the historical data available somewhere?
There's a bot on IRC. You should join #bitcoin-pricetalk. It has various commands for querying various exchanges. There is no historical data available, but I occasionally post it in here.
4704  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 13, 2017, 09:15:10 AM
The amount of bids at Bitstamp is still very high, less than 20 mil lower than ATH (IIRC):

"Flippening" does not exist as something that is not Bitcoin can never be made Bitcoin regardless of how much malicious actors like Peter R would like you to believe that (yet he acts neutral).

4705  Economy / Reputation / Re: Recommendations for additions to Default Trust on: November 13, 2017, 09:12:19 AM
Any ETA for the first addition? I'd like to see the impact that it would have and analyze his left ratings/amount of butthurt that will happen.

Obviously he may have to correct a few ratings, but IMO most of his are very good ratings.
I'm open to suggestions.  I realize I've gone crazy with the reddening agent, but I'll listen to advice.
I'll PM you if I see something that I disagree with as I usually do that with pretty much any DT member.

Now, I'm no expert on the blockchain technology, but this is very obvious: the 2 addresses were involved in a few transactions sent to each other. Found here:

Lol, he was our old customer and how come he relates with me ?
You are sending money to your customers? You suck at lying. Roll Eyes

@Pharmacist . I am not a scammer , you are .
Quoted this for reference.

Nice work Aventhe. That connection is a positive hit.
4707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 13, 2017, 05:45:06 AM
I just picked up more coins. People want to buy at around 1000 so they can enjoy the fruits.
You are a sock puppet that is solely dedicated to this garbage. Of course you can afford to buy this scam from the money that Ver is giving you. Roll Eyes
4708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 13, 2017, 05:41:52 AM
BCH will stand at this level $1350
You were saying? Maybe it is time to rename to Bitcoin Crash.

So that Lauda user put negative feedback on you account because you support BCH???  WTF?  What a joke of a user that must be..  Admin can you remove that absolutely stupid negative feedback on this new user account?  seriously that is forum abuse IMO.

*edit= And the other negative feedback on TangentC is equally stupid.  So now we are not allowed to post?  or we might get negative feedback?  OMG

Don't support scam and you'll be fine boi
Correct. Anyone who comes out shilling this scam with propaganda which is meant to deceive newbies is going to get tagged.

While con men like Fake Satoshi and Roger Ver are doing everything that they can to harm the newcomers, someone has to be there to protect them. Smiley
4709  Economy / Reputation / Re: Forums stand in regards to users that have free Tx accelerators threads on: November 13, 2017, 05:36:39 AM
IMO this is a new type of scam that has become recently popular. After reading through your interactions with said user, I feel strongly inclined to give them a negative rating. I'd also like to see what others think about the case and what they think the appropriate action is.
4710  Economy / Reputation / Re: How do you guys feel about trust farming? on: November 13, 2017, 05:33:20 AM
WTF!? So that, plus "Risked BTC amount", plus "or had a successful trade"...
Well, it seems that you are confused about it. I tried to clarify that there's a huge difference between adding a ~Ļand keeping/removing a rating from someone. I tend to rarely leave positive ratings, regardless of whether there were deals with someone or not. Tongue

Can Bitcointalk's feedback system have just a single aspect that isn't a steaming pile of useless shit?
IMO it isn't too difficult to understand if you give it some time and think it really through.

I do remember reading theymos' post somewhere that the new forum was going to be released "next year". That was multiple years ago.
That doesn't necessarily imply a completely revamped trust system.
4711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 12, 2017, 10:25:44 PM
bitcoin cash will rise. bitcoin will fall but how far?
You mean this will rise?

Gavin is coming onboard! :-D BCH is going to be big!!\_(*^*))_/$$$
Gavin is a naive kid. This is the reality, i.e. BCH is an attack by the rich criminals.

Instead, since I don't understand how DT works & probably never will, here are the newest additions to my trust list that I appended & got mixed in after I hit Update (or maybe I should just replace my entire trust list with "~DefaultTrust" or whatever will fuck the entire membership out, because you assholes can't or won't properly manage & read feedback):
-snip-
Excluding them doesn't do what you think it does IMO. Adding ~ to someone's name, as a DT2 member has the following effects:
1) It makes their ratings worthless from your perspective. This does nothing if they are not DT1, DT2 and you don't use any lower tiers (whichever they may be on). It does not affect what others see.
2) It may discredit their own ratings.
3) Your rating still has an effect on their total trust score and will be seen by others by default.

I would like the Atriz=decoded discussion reopened myself just because I feel that could be possible.
I would disagree, but you never know.
4714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 12, 2017, 09:00:42 PM
It seems that miners already started return to BTC. Total amount of uncomfirmed transactions started to decrease.

170175 Unconfirmed Transactions

Where you see that.  It seem higher to me.
Getting close 200000
11 Bitcoin blocks have been mined in the last hour, clearing >22k transactions.

Fork in fork ... We should handle with bitcoins name after forks. Bitcoin gold, silver, cash, diomand, usd, euro... I guess it will never end. Bitcoin's rich will be richest than bitcoin rich  Undecided  İt is like economic game turning araund crypto grandfather.
You shouldn't be surprised by the actions of con men.
4715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Is the "network" slow today? on: November 12, 2017, 08:42:24 PM
How can I lose all my money on a reputable and well renown platform? Are they not responsible for the coins that they keep for their customers ?
Mt. Gox, Cryptsy, and many others. Any money that you keep on an exchange is not your money, it is an IOU. Do your research.

How can I best keep my coins even Golem (not supported by hardware wallet I think) ?
Wrong thread.

Also I think every time I withdraw my alt-coins from those platforms, they charge some fees or not?
Again, wrong thread. Don't post off-topic stuff in here anymore.
4716  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 12, 2017, 08:31:31 PM
I can speculate that BCH might go down in the near term while simultaneously being a big block supporter.
You can simultaneously pretend to be an expert while being a con artist. Yes, we are well aware of that. Smiley

Don't bother ragnar0k. JBreher will just hand-wave those ramblings of their CEO madman away as unimportant and ignore you.
They need an updated whitepaper,  "A CEO-to-Peer Electronic Cash System".
4717  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 12, 2017, 08:25:23 PM
The difficulty on BCH has reset upwards, making BTC more profitable to mine.  We should see significant hash power migration shortly, a partial clearing of mempool, and a reduction in transaction fees on the Bitcoin Core chain.

What I can't figure out is if people will dump more BTC because their coins can now move, or dump more BCH because the miners have left.
Give me a break. Don't act innocent nor neutral because you are neither. Roger Ver is responsible for about >90% of the price movement on Bitcoin Scam aka Bitcoin Cash.

How about nodes? Does BCH actually have any that aren't Bitmain?
Yes.
More clarifying: There is almost zero non-shill, non AWS, support of BCH.
4718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 12, 2017, 08:16:26 PM
On the other hand we maybe surprised to see a lot of hash power stay with BCH if some groups have genuinely decided BCH is the better coin.
Genuinely decide something which is completely irrational? Yeah right. They'd have to be extremely stupid to the point where baboons could outsmart them. BCH is in no way better than Bitcoin nor can it even be compared? Centralization? Check. Fake Satoshi? Check. Fake CEO? Check. Con man Ver? Check. Roll Eyes

In terms of money chasing miners, BTC is looking a pretty poor choice on the sha256 algo anyway even ignoring BCH...
No.

Everyone know you G.Maxwell pet cat, shoo bad kitty.
Paid shill detected.
4719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 12, 2017, 08:08:41 PM
Retarget done. It is now 2.81x more profitable to mine BTC.

i think bitcoin cash will go down much when HF happen soon
Let me guess, a hard fork which was decided by Roger Ver and the "CEO of BCH"?  Roll Eyes
4720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 12, 2017, 07:45:19 PM
The BCH chain is less than 24 hours from the fork that will fix the block time, so good bye miners..
Probably the last chance for a pump is tonight
The retarget is in "27 minutes, 19 seconds (20 blk)" and the difficulty will increase by 400%. They have to pump it now if they want to keep this up.

Of course they don't eat the pie, and on queue, they respond with Fox News-style attacks on Roger Ver. They've become pathetic really.
You mean like the fake paid articles by Ver and propaganda on Bitcoin.com? You should look in the mirror before calling anyone's actions pathetic.

The real news is that BCH hashpower overtook BTC. https://fork.lol/pow/hashrate
BCH 7.6 Eh
BTC 3.5 Eh
That is not news of any kind. Miners are dumping that while it is profitable in order to get more money.
