4701  Economy / Economics / Re: The Decentralized Economy During COVID-19 on: July 11, 2020, 04:26:12 PM
Ever since COVID-19 took the world by storm, people have been resorting to the world of "Decentralized Finance" (De-Fi). Ethereum-based smart contracts provide many services known in the traditional banking industry such as lending and borrowing. There's been a boom in "De-Fi" tokens over the past months as the mainstream economy loses traction.

If the current monetary system collapses in its entirety, people will dive in the decentralized economy like never before. It seems that COVID-19 is accelerating adoption of decentralized cryptocurrencies as we speak. The longer the outbreak takes to disappear, the better it'll be for the growth of "Decentralized Finance". I've seen many people talking about ETH's several "De-Fi" platforms, bringing some hype to the industry. Compound tokens (COMP), and even DAI have increased in popularity in such a short amount of time.

Do you think that COVID-19 will become extremely beneficial to the decentralized economy in the long term? Is "De-Fi" way overhyped these days? What will happen with crypto once COVID-19 comes to an end? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Smiley
I haven't used any of these De-Fis but I think they're becoming pretty good despite the pandemic. But I don't think that the current fiat system we have is likely to collapse. And what most probably expected during this pandemic is that there will be a collapsing for the crypto market.

Then, the opposite happened. The crypto market became better and looking stable. And once this pandemic ends, I don't think that there will be a difference from what we are with today and once it ends.
4702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Warning Exodus Wallet SCAM on Google Play! on: July 11, 2020, 03:19:57 PM
Hello, I already did all of the things you said. Google guy keeps on writing to me saying "their experts are working on the case and they will let me know asap" but while we speak the app is still there. I'm starting to think they will silently remove it and never admit their responsibility. Exodous guy was very kind and told me they did their part to take the app down but again it's STILL THERE!

EDIT: they just take the app down at last
I should say congratulations to you. This was made due to your efforts and experience. I'm hoping that google play should be stricter next time if they have been receiving tons of reports from these fraudsters. They should get the hint from these reports and do something in filtering listing into their platform.

Because once an app of these scammers is removed, they'll create a new fake and imitation from the popular wallets or exchanges to scam new users again.
4703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Warning Exodus Wallet SCAM on Google Play! on: July 10, 2020, 04:42:59 PM
The installs now are up to 100+ and it's very alarming that there will be more people that they can scam. How did you reported the app? have you looked into this?

https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/contact/takedown

If you download wallet apps, make sure that you look first to their official websites as they are putting the correct and official link for their apps.

Send a message and inform exodus what happened to you so they can help taking down that fake app.

This is the legit app with 100,000+ installs.

4704  Economy / Economics / Re: Government+cryptocurrencies on: July 10, 2020, 03:46:58 PM
My take on this is that we will see it in the future, the coexistence of government, banks and cryptocurrencies. As the normal saying goes about beating, they'll join if they have no choice anymore. We're starting to see that there's equilibrium for most countries that started regulating it or no reaction at all but is ok with it and, those that don't like it or likely to ban it are not that many.

And for those countries that are going to label their digital local money as cryptocurrencies, they can do that as they wish but it won't change the fact that we know what cryptocurrencies really are.
4705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it beneficial for the crypto casinos to add stable coins? on: July 10, 2020, 01:45:37 PM
Well, expect that some of them may add it soon. As long as there is some players who are asking them to do so, that's a gain for them if ever they are granting the demand of their players. And there is no loss in their part if ever they will accept it.

It's a tradable stable coin so there should be no problem on any casino that will add it to their accepted cryptocurrencies. For those who are conservative with the fluctuations can convert to stable coins and keep gambling.
4706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Record Revenue for Blockchain Gaming Company During Pandemic on: July 09, 2020, 01:34:30 PM
The experts think that the coronavirus lockdown has fostered a “change in behavior” among many new and ‘born-again’ gamers that will last into the longer-term — with gaming becoming a cornerstone of their entertainment-seeking rituals.
It really does. The old school gamblers combined with the new and existing crypto gamblers have to get into the transition of online gambling to pursue themselves while being at home. Just imagine that this firm has earned that much for the first few months of the year. How about those who are very popular? well, guess the numbers that they have.

How do you think about this? Did you start playing blockchain games at home because of isolation?
Still played the existing casinos and games that I used to play.

And what they mean by "born-again" gamers
Probably those gamblers that are new to online gambling or crypto gambling.
4707  Economy / Digital goods / Re: I am selling my project( on: July 09, 2020, 12:23:54 PM
You can sell this on Digital goods, that's the category for this project you want to sell. I think you better continue it and instead of selling it. It will just take you sometime to think of it and hire few people to work with you but it will cost you money definitely which you don't have as your reason.

Anyway, good luck with selling it and you can move your thread on that section.

I really want to develop the project, but I do not have money, this is the main reason. I tried to find a partner but there is no one who wants it. There were investors, but they want a very large percentage that will destroy me.

Thank you for prompting the right section.
If that's the desperate action that you can call, good luck selling your project. If you can't find someone to buy this on that section you can also use a certain website where most projects are being sold and bought, it's a marketplace called.

Code:
www.flippa.com

But AFAIK, they don't accept crypto. cmiiw.
4708  Economy / Speculation / Re: There are positive signs in the movement of bitcoin prices on: July 09, 2020, 11:07:07 AM
I've witnessed the $9300 breaking of bitcoin and thought that it will push through $9400-$9500 but it didn't. There are always opposite analysis that I have read while op says that it's a positive sign.

Whilst, last time I've read someone said that those indicators shows bad sign.  Huh

Today I've seen the price moving towards $9500, and as per OP this is the next resistance level. Good to see that in the last 24 hours the price suddenly increase after like months of moving sideways and this could probably the break out run that we all have been waiting for except that that the increase is just minor.

So let's see if we can get to $9500 and then wait if it will continue or if there will be selling pressures again. We are approaching weekends, and usually the market shows signs of slowing down during this break.
Did it? I missed it but anyway it's still a quick move on that price. As long as bitcoin keeps moving like this and it's reaching again those levels that we've been before, this creates a bullish sentiment and can make those bearish people turn back to bullish.

We're gonna see a correction this time but it wouldn't be high. If it won't break $9300 for a long time, I think it will start to create a FOMO again for those who have been expecting the price lower than that.

I wasn't able to get back on this thread and it's good that you have listened to the people that have suggested you to reduce the minimum withdrawal. And having a good feeling that you're still doing good with an on-going competition.

I want to ask the stats you have for your dice telegram about the usual number of active players you get everyday.

Hello, sunsilk!
On average 1,500 - 2,000 players per day, if I understood the question correctly.
Thanks for the question.
Yes, you have understood my question correctly.

Honestly, that's massive. I never expected that it will be like that. Because the number that I'm expecting is kinda low but you have a lot of daily active players.

Others that are not aware of the dice telegram will probably have the same reaction as mine.

no they don't show any bad sign at all just like the simple rise to whatever level below $10k is not a good sign. it is just the market fluctuation in a range that it has been stuck for many months now.
the reason why we aren't seeing big rises is mainly because everyone is currently waiting for some sort of "signal" before jumping back in while the whale-accumulators are buying bitcoin cheap and day traders are pump and dumping shitcoins. such signal could be some build up or the breaking of $10k itself or some positive news.
Yes, that's a relief. Just right now, the market is going green and good. I'm just trying to compare what OP is saying and those that I've seen elsewhere telling that the charts are showing bad signs.

let them say whatever they want, and let us do what is necessary .we are here to Invest and not just to listen from everybody here specially those random people who says this and that.
because if we will do the same then lets expect our money will gone in the air.
I listen to any open idea but I'm just trying to look at both sides and there's always two sides and opinion for the charts. But anyway, I wouldn't let the negative touch my feelings as I'm always looking to the positive signs.

Hi Joel_Jantsen, just trying to help. We have this thread for the list of designers. Some may not be active anymore but I still see that some of them are still active and there's their portfolio attached that you can look to whoever fits the style you want. Hope it helps.

I appreciate this. I already reached out. Please feel free to send me more contacts/openings.
Ok.

I will if ever I see one again.

But while I haven't seen one, you can always browse on this section and do it yourself. There are many of those people that are looking for writers like you, dig a few pages on this section and you'll see some of them.
I don't know how I miss them, or maybe I'm searching the wrong way. I always look under the services section, and view the latest posts. Is there any other way? Please advise.
No special technique or way of doing it.

You probably haven't browsed thoroughly. I have seen those posts looking for writers from the most recent to the next pages and so on. You just have to spend time browsing them one by one and read if you hit their requirements.
4714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: July 07, 2020, 11:56:08 PM
I am hoping for that also! House always win but it's for long term basis. This week is really a disaster, I didn't expect that my profit will dump just like that because of one big jackpot. Well, congratulations for that guy but we can still profit in the long run for the losing players  Grin
The important thing thing here is we are still in profit, and we didn't lose all of our gains  Grin
It's part of investing in bankroll.

Look at the positive outlook of what happened and this really happens. One time, two times or few more times. But after that, the house wins again as you mention and you'll recover from that whale. You are still fine and doing good if you look on the long term perspective.

If you aren't patient you shouldn't invest in something like this. Anything can happen in a few months.
Don't worry, he is patient and aware of the possibilities like this.

This Telegram bot dice type is quite surprisingly able to stand for a year and do get players to play in spite of all the famous dice sites platforms that we know.

I dont know on what make them to be interested on this one yet frankly speaking its not really give that good experience since results does show in plain text etc.
unlike if we do deal up with those platforms that do have some fancy stuff.

0.5 btc price for that maximum profit contest is attractive though.
They managed to stay for a year so it means that they've became strong for the very first year of their business. I wouldn't say that they don't give good experience because I personally haven't tried them.

What's good is that they have listened to the suggestion of reducing the withdrawals and they have applied it quickly after hearing a lot of us. I'm interested to know the stats of them just as what I'm asking. I hope that they don't mind to answer it.

They have made it easier for their users to have different accounts for different websites that the user prefer to visit or to create. They have uploaded a video on their twitter account. And it includes a feature that can read a encrypted messages.

4720  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to advertise cryptocurrency exchange platform? on: July 06, 2020, 04:32:53 PM
1. Create a token for your exchange if you don't have one yet and then coordinate with various airdrop channels to advertise it. If I am not mistaken, Binance became an instant hit because they did this.
Binance became known not because of their token but because of their service as an exchange. And it's just so happen that through the popularity of the exchange, their native token took the attention of the investors and traders.

Although this isn't a bad idea but I suggest that they have to focus first with the exchange rather than thinking of making their own token. All of the marketing suggestions are good and if they have a decent budget, they should hire an entire experienced PR person or team or agency for the marketing to easily monitor the promotions.

Know your target market too if you are going to focus first with local or you'd go int'l already.
