4701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: July 13, 2017, 03:38:41 PM
I thought for sure it would take until the end of 2018 but it looks like this summer ethereum might pass it up. With the turmoil around BTC potential splitting, it might be very soon. IMO this is healthy, we will always value bitcoin for being the one that started it all, but it's time for a more dynamic and adaptable currency to take the lead.

Ethereum? Really, huh? Well it looks like your Ethereum is going down together with other altcoins and bitcoins. The coin didn't took over bitcoins yet but we still have a lot of time to judge that. In my opinion, bitcoin will always be the number one because whales are supporting and trading bitcoins. ETH might go up and have a pretty good market but it would always be an altcoin, a simple copy of bitcoin's concept.

I think it would take a lot more than hype (or a lot more hype) for a coin to replace bitcoin. We saw BTU and that was quite a hype but now it's in the garbage can. Bitcoin has always been strong but this potential split might change things.
Really a 200$+ Altcoin will pass up the 2300$+ King of the Cryptocurrency in just little over a year? Isn't it were jumping to a big conclusion without analyzing the situation yet? Yes Bitcoin might have a split soon but isn't it true that Ethereum has 2 versions as well? What made you think that the outcome of Bitcoin splitting will be in favor of Ethereum? Another thing to point out is the awareness of the common people in which as of right now Bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency even common people know it Ethereum on the other hand is yet to be recognized by them.
4702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: July 13, 2017, 10:50:05 AM
What does it mean instant? What's fast? If I'm right I think nothing like that might be a gamble can do it but remember the risks, If anyone offers it without doing anything it's obviously a scam, to get  bitcoin we also need takes time and ability and experience.
For me I don't consider gambling as making you an instant rich person because it can also make you an instant poor person. With that being said I am seeing that Bitcoin can be a way to make you rich but not as what the majority of the people say in which they think that if you put your money in Bitcoin than you instantly become rich. Bitcoin can be a form of investment for people but people will need to wait before they start seeing profits in their investment. My suggestion is that at this price range it is too risky to buy Bitcoin now, in order for you to maximize your investment you need to buy Bitcoin at a lower price.
4703  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁 12 BILLION BET PROMOTION🎁Most Popular Dice & Roulette🎁 on: July 13, 2017, 10:07:43 AM
Along with the prizes up for grab in celebration of the 12billionth bet, players like clevere, doulus and others have made this celebration even merrier. Several mega rains amounting up to 200k satoshis, thanks guys.

Because of these fantastic promotion tactics, this site has reached to the most trusted and liked site by many gamblers in very less time. I always miss this competition because of the timings. Always it will be quite late for me to participate and every time I just see the winners. Now burst prices went down quite a lot and it's a time to buy more.

most altcoins are dropping, it is like an epidemic right now. we are close to the time when you can call it the bottom and start buying them. i also have plans on buying some burst for the sake of gambling with it in bitsler Cheesy
bought some recently and am waiting for a better price to buy some more.

altcoins took a vertical dive some dropped 20-30%
on the other hand, bitcoin fees gone down and the waiting time is much much lower these days
I sent 0.07 btc with only 5k fee,was pleasantly surprised by the speed of confirmation-confirmed inside 15 minutes time
as for burst, you can mine them yourself if you have a spare hdd or have enough of free space on your old one
mine, send to Bitlser win more=profit  Grin
Rains are a great proof that the Bitsler's community is a giving community. These players you have mentioned shown us that betting site is not only for you to have fun with but you can also share your winnings to other people. I myself when I receive a random rain giveaway before makes me happy that I was one of the chosen players to receive extra coins to bet. I really hope that I will also make it rain in the chat area one day. Maybe when I reach a certain winning or so.
4704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: July 13, 2017, 12:12:26 AM
For me it's the future. Which very soon becomes a real.  Wink
yes that is right we can consider bitcoin as our future. to me i am earning a good mount of money from bitcoin trading which i mostly save for my future because i am sure that bitcoin will give me a good profit after some time.
Just a piece of advise never think of only one thing that could determine your whole future, what happens if it fail? Then you just have wasted your time for nothing. Focusing only in Bitcoin for your future is a bad thing for an investor not because Bitcoin is not a good investment but and investor should diversify his portfolio of investments in order to succeed and what I mean by diversify is investing outside the cryptocurrency market in which if Bitcoin goes down others will not follow as they are on a different market.
4705  Economy / Economics / Re: Rothschild: Get Ready For One World Currency By 2018 on: July 12, 2017, 10:57:41 PM
I read it and I still don't believe that our world we live in will have 1 global currency that will favor all the buyers and sellers. I don't believe it simply because of each countries' different view on that matter that global currency we are talking about needs to cross a lot of path in order to be successful to claim that title. From legal issues to demand and consumer acceptance all of those must need to be check to become an official global currency. And I know all of us here is looking for Bitcoin to grow and be the global currency.
4706  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices rise high on: July 12, 2017, 10:10:46 PM
I just hope that it continue to rise high ,
I think it would start to rise again after the segwit hope that it reaches $4,000 per coin.

Currently, after 2 days of dipping, I'm seeing that it's green right now. Although the price increase is less than 1% at least we are heading in the right direction. I think this will continue until we reach $2600 again until we near the dreaded Aug 1 date which we will see another dumping. I also hope that if there is a dip after the Segwit2x, it will recovered and touches $3000-$4000 in the future.
I don't think it will gain anything when August 1 is nearing its time. What I am saying is that 2600$ per Bitcoin seems to be a bit expensive for something dipping. As some other members here are trying to say that the effects of August 1 will be earlier than expected in which at least 2 weeks before the date they are starting to prepare from it. So my advise it monitor first the Bitcoin's price action and chart in order to prepare yourself from the upcoming chain of events.
4707  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: July 12, 2017, 03:50:05 PM
Well if you are looking for a wallet than your best option is to use your locally available Bitcoin Wallet Provider if your have one. Having a Local Bitcoin Wallet Provider has many advantages mainly is your conversion of your Bitcoin to your local Fiat Currency. I myself use a local wallet provider in which if I needed I'll convert my Bitcoin to Fiat via Bank deposits which is free of charge, the exchange rate is also real time. Another advantage is you can buy Bitcoin direct from your Wallet Provider with your own local Fiat Currency.
4708  Economy / Economics / Re: Your plans for 1st august? on: July 12, 2017, 02:55:59 PM
Majority of the people here are talking about holding Bitcoin even if they see Bitcoin's price goes down in August 1, but isn't it a smarter move if we sell our Bitcoin to Fiat Currency before the price goes down and buy at a later date? By doing so we not only avoided a loss but actually will take profit from it. And the good thing is we can buy back Bitcoin at a cheaper price and more buying power which means we can buy more Bitcoin. I just hope it does not go down as many people are thinking.
4709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alts fall, Bitcoin falls ... where is the money going? on: July 12, 2017, 12:20:51 PM
If all cryptocurrency is falling in terms of price then one thing is for sure. All investors and traders are pulling out there money as I don't know the main reason why but I think it relates to the August 1 thing that will happen to Bitcoin in which Bitcoin's future is still uncertain. People are now converting there money to Fiat Currency as it is much more stable compare to other cryptocurrencies. I guess it is an act of preparation on the investor's side that is why they are doing a sell off.
4710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: July 12, 2017, 11:39:23 AM
Hey guys you got to admit it Minnesota Timberwolves had the best offseason so far in the NBA.

Notable Acquisitions:
Jimmy Butler
Jeff Teague
Taj Gibson
Jamal Crawford
Justin Patton

Notable Player Losses:

Zach Lavine
Kris Dunn

The team has added players that give them a tremendous upgrade on both the defensive and offensive end. Not to mention adding a multiple sixth-man of the year awardee with Jamal Crawford our bench will help the scoring and defending process while the starting five is resting. Aside from that the Wolves are not yet finish adding pieces they still need to add another back up point guard and 2 wing players.
4711  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: July 11, 2017, 11:44:24 PM
Well it is called price appreciation my friend. Last 7 months ago I remembered that Bitcoin was just below the 1000$ level right now it has reach an all time high of 2990$+ which is a tremendous increase for a little over 6 months. So that is why before your Bitcoins even though you are not adding still increase in terms of value. And to answer your question if I have a lot of Bitcoin I won't spend or sell it, I will only convert it to Fiat Currency when my target value arrives.
4712  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you really make money on Forex? on: July 11, 2017, 05:22:07 PM
I will also lend my voice to this that its very much possible to make money in forex and this is something I have verifiable evidence on considering the people that I have met who are even close to me which means I know they cannot be lying about it but the issue is that they went on a standard and adequate training before engaging in it because to my understanding, its very much risky even riskier than the crypto-exchange market that I am very used to.
Forex Trading is in fact and no doubt a way to earn money with your capital. It is like the O.G. version of the altcoin trading happening right now in the cryptocurrency world. As you can both kinds of trading involves an exchange of currency to one another, the key here is to increase your quantity and at the same time have a higher value compared to what you have traded for. I know it sounds complicated but the exchange rate even though fiat currency is more stable than Cryptocurrency it does still change often to one another.

Congratulations once again to the winners of the community. I am still hoping that my time will come as I always miss the opportunity when it opens from different reasons such as missing the time and missing the bet placement. But what I need to do is to satisfy all the conditions first in order to maximize the prize Bitsler is giving in the promotion. But anyways congratulations again to the members who participated and won the promotion, and thank you Bitsler for the awesome giveaway.
4714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: July 11, 2017, 03:02:08 PM
This year will decide the future of Bitcoin. Segwit is quite a big event happening in the history of bitcoin. There are two cases, either activation of UASF without Segwit2x or with Segwit2x. There will be a huge dump in price in both the cases ( might be of 30-40% ). But with latter, the price will re bounce soon whereas it will take quite a more time to get back to its initial level with the first case.

Altogether this year will decide many things. If it all went good. Then we will see a major demand by the end of the year and might be a major hike in price too.
I am not fully aware of what will really happen in August 1 as there is no clear outcome, and also I have spend a considerate time for me researching on the said topic. What I am always reading is that it needs a lot of support compared to other cryptocurrencies in which won't fail without the support. With the support needed we will see Bitcoin not falling in price as said by the other contributors. As what I interpret with that is I am thinking that they are talking about investors and traders not selling off their position.
4715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Bitcoin without investment on: July 11, 2017, 02:26:53 PM
Well considering that you are a newbie and you stumbled upon this site you are luck to do so as in this site bitcointalk.org you can earn Bitcoin from a 3rd party signature provider, what I mean about that is you can earn from what they called a "signature campaign" in which how much you will earn depends sometimes on the campaign and rank you have. Also it is one of the most efficient and most reasonable paying ways online compared to claiming Bitcoins in faucet which as of right now is on an all time low because of high Bitcoin price lately.
4716  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth? Welcome to discuss on: July 10, 2017, 02:21:59 PM
Well, for those who do not know bitcoin, of course they would think that bitcoin it has no value. but, when they have gained bitcoin, and know how it works, I am sure, they will drag their words, and would say that bitcoin is worth something, even to say, bitcoin is the best on the internet. I feel, they know very little knowledge about bitcoin.
That is actually true. For people who don't have knowledge and information about bitcoin they can find bitcoin as a worth less thing but if they will be a part of bitcoin and they have the chance to used in in transaction that is the time the they may see the future and the development of bitcoin as more worth currecy they could ever have.
It's not that they don't have any value for them, its just that they still don't see the importance of Bitcoin in our advancing world. To keep all of us noted we are the ones why Bitcoin has value as of today, what I mean about that we us consumers and investors are the ones who create the demand for Bitcoin which in turn also dictates the price of it. So in terms of demand and value Bitcoin as of today is the leading currency in both the crypto world and the fiat world.
4717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin digital gold or digital cash? on: July 09, 2017, 02:41:56 PM
I think that it is both. If you are think of "Gold" as an investment then you are right as many people are investing their money into Bitcoin. And also it is a form of digital cash/currency in which many online shops now are accepting it as a mode of payment together with some well known payment methods such as visa and Paypal. So I don't think that there can be an argument with this one as it can be both, people who can either spend or invest in one currency is possible according to their personal needs.
4718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: Wall Street Predicting Bitcoin To Hit $55,000 In 5 Years on: July 09, 2017, 02:05:36 PM
It is good to see that someone in the Wall Street makes bold predictions on Bitcoin, simply Bitcoin hitting 20,000$ to 55,000$ in the next 5 years is simply big for Bitcoin. What can we translate about it? It means that it is not too late to invest in Bitcoin even in this level as the returns are ten times more in the future. However even if it is predicted by an expert let us not get carried away that Bitcoin is still a volatile currency and we still don't really know the future it will hold for itself. Let us just monitor it frequently.
4719  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term argument for bitcoin on: July 09, 2017, 11:22:22 AM
I believe so, I agree with you that there are other altcoins there in the cryptocurrency world in fact some are better than Bitcoin. But the main difference is that separates Bitcoin to others is that Bitcoin has the largest demand of them all, you can see how the prices are compared to other which means it has a greater demand compared to others. That is the benefit of being a pioneer in the market they are the ones who gets more attention or popularity as Bitcoin is the face of cryptocurrency.
4720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: July 09, 2017, 10:17:51 AM
what do you think about this topic?

Yeah, i think it is right. Bitcoin is instant way to get rich at least we are not rich but it is true bitcoin would be a first step to get rich. But if we decide to make money from bitcoin then believe me we would be rich man one day. Now we need to mathematically mind to use the bitcoin into in these ways where we get profit everyday. Otherwise bitcoin name is enough for making money.
Bitcoin as a form of investment or trading tool is not in anyway an instant way to get rich. Look at the prices now you barely see it go up 200$ or more, as you can see the price is always around 2500$-2600$ which is not a good volatility as you are risking your whole capital on a hundred dollar gain. You don't even need mathematical skills for you to earn with Bitcoin, you just need basic math in order for you to know your gain (that's if you have a gain or maybe you will have losses). Technical analysis is what you mostly need in order to be successful in trading.
