Nick Young told last June 10, 2016 "I hate 2016 GS fans. They don't know nothing about basketball". What funny now is he agreed on one year $5.2M deal on GSW. Hating the fans of GSW but now he will play for them. This guy also want's a ring.

Anyway, I heard a trader rumor of Klay Thompson going to Boston. I don't know if it was just a hoax or for real but that hurts for a GS fan to read/heard. Klay also play a big role in the past season for GS. This will be Ring over Money or Money over Ring.

There's always a change of heart when it comes to basketball and contracts. Well I don't know if other fans will remember that but it's not a big deal to him anymore what he only wants is to have a better place for him to get some good fortune on joining GSW. Well good luck to his new team and hoping that he will stay long there.
Klay Thompson deserve a bigger pay and even without him in the warriors that team still a championship contender team.
Durant sacrificed his salary because he wants a ring but Klay had already two, I think it's time to reward himself with a lot of money.

Everyone in the team deserves bigger pay. But I just noticed look on how GSW management is handling the salaries of their players. Stephen Curry recently just increased his salary that should be done last year or after obtaining the MVP title. Maybe next year we'll see Klay Thompson's salary will increase too.
When wil the contract of Klay Thompson will last in GSW? I think the salary increase is every new signing of contract but if it happens Klay in Boston it will be a great match this coming season against cleveland

The Wizards have signed Potter for 4 year making a $106.5 million max contract making him.the highest paid player next season at $24.8 million for the Wizards all i can say after this move is RIP Wizards honestly i have no idea why teams constantly are willing to pay guys who barely move the needle.

That's a big contract for Potter.

I don't know why there are teams that are paying big if they can get some rookies who are playing good.

Well we can't interfere with their decisions. It's their money.

yeah if they can build another curry who only got small salary when he's rookie days i think those young guns deserve to be pick and got some time
to showcase their talents, hope owners will look for another new face that will make some high impact to this league.

Otto Porter would have been offered the same contract by another team because that's the way the salary structure is nowadays. Any team can give max contracts to as many as three players. Some would say that these contracts are too much but these teams generate much much more income, more than enough that is why even third options get max contracts.

Well we all know that he somewhat deserves a good pay from Houston Rockets. Yes, as common people who can just shake our heads on how much a player can get, much more for us on a year and this guys get it on a day playing and enjoying the sports. They are indeed lucky. One thing though, we see a lot of players going bankrupt when their playing days are over. Just hoping that it will not happen to many athletes out there. Just should learn to invest and not just buy expensive material things like houses, cars and other stuff.

Everton will continue their spending with Gylfi Sigurdsson from Swansea City. Swansea want £50 million from his sale Leicester City also monitoring Sigurdsson situation but i don't think that they will pay the tremendous fee while Everton may do it after selling Lukaku also Koeman is Determined to get him.
While Daniel Alves chose to snub Manchester City to join PSG on a 2 year deal so City now Turned back to Tonnenham right back Kyle Walker but Spurs are holding out for £50million.

The amount is indeed mind boggling. Makes you wonder why players who play for reacreation get paid waaaaay more than those workers who actually provide for our daily needs or those who have their lives on the line everyday to protect us. But that's how things are in this world and it seems that houston sees harden as that important part of their franchise for the next couple of years to be given that lucrative contract. And we thought a couple of days ago that steph's was already the most a player can get Cheesy

Damn, this guy just signed a contract worth $228 million and according to this article http://www.nba.com/article/2017/07/08/rockets-sign-harden-four-year-contract-extension, he has the richest contract in the NBA history.

What do you think, did he deserved that or not?

I don't know when it will be finished. Possible that there is 3-5 years contract that he signed already. And he needs to wait for it up until the end of the contract and maybe that's the right time that the GSW management will increase his salary. Well if that happens we'll know it through internet, it will be on the news immediately.

Hey guys you got to admit it Minnesota Timberwolves had the best offseason so far in the NBA.

Notable Acquisitions:
Jimmy Butler
Jeff Teague
Taj Gibson
Jamal Crawford
Justin Patton

Notable Player Losses:

Zach Lavine
Kris Dunn

The team has added players that give them a tremendous upgrade on both the defensive and offensive end. Not to mention adding a multiple sixth-man of the year awardee with Jamal Crawford our bench will help the scoring and defending process while the starting five is resting. Aside from that the Wolves are not yet finish adding pieces they still need to add another back up point guard and 2 wing players.

Holy Mother of Christ!!!
This is not an All-Star line up but will definitely give a hard time to the Cavaliers and the Warriors.
Oh. Jamal. My favorite player of all time. With the shake and bake it will definitely give a lot of offense for the Wolves. Then Butler, this is going to be a crazy season.

Is this official? Is the bulls will really release butler and remain wade instead? This is a great loss to chicago bulls. Timberwolves has lot of good players even without them. Karl Anthony Towns is enough. He just need time to get more experience. NBA must set a limitation to avoid superpower teams.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has agreed to sign for $18 million on a one year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. It's the one position they shorte and they will be needed to fill. As a 2-way player, Kentavious adds just what they needed at SG to complement Ball in the backcourt. The Lakers desperately needed defense and 3-point shooting, and Kentavious brings that. In addition, his contract is the perfect fit with the Lakers current rebuilding plan. He expected to have a much longuer deal but Lakers have no time fir long commitment as a 4 year deal will codte them somewhere around $75 or 80 million.

Here are some new rules for next season 2017/18:

The NBA Board of Governors unanimously approved rules changes pertaining to timeout format and procedures for administrating free throws and halftime. Effective with the 2017-18 season, the maximum number of timeouts per game will decrease from 18 to 14(7 for each team).
All team timeouts will be 75 seconds.
In addition, during the last three minutes of a game, teams will be limited to two team timeouts each instead of the previous rule that allowed three per team in the last two minutes.
Each team will have two team timeouts per overtime period; previously teams had three.

The NBA also made the following changes regarding game flow:
Referees will assess a delay-of-game violation if a free throw shooter ventures beyond the three-point line between attempts.
Halftime will last 15 minutes for all games, beginning immediately upon expiration of the second period.  A delay-of-game penalty will be issued if a team is not ready to start play at the expiration of the halftime clock.

In addition, the Board of Governors approved moving the trade deadline from the Thursday after the NBA All-Star Game to the Thursday 10 days before the All-Star Game.  With the new placement of the trade deadline, teams will be able to settle their rosters before the All-Star break

If this is true then Timberwolves will be loaded by a lot of good players. But the question is, can they blend with its other? Yes, Karl Anthony Towns is enough and they should build their teams around it. If they keep adding the likes of players mentioned above, then it will be another adjustment on the core and I think that it will bring more harm than good to the team.

Kentavious is not a big deal to me. But well Lakers today isn't the old one anymore, old players are legends and they can't replace those players that had resigned before and having some rest now.

The league modifies (again) some of the rules. You may read some here:

https://www.foxsports.com.au/basketball/nba-announce-rule-changes-for-time-outs-and-free-throws-trade-deadline-date-moved-forward/news-story/438f4c67f7e0edaeac1ddf18cae25fed

Aside from that, trade deadlines has moved after All-Star Week from the original before the event. What's next?

In addition, his contract is the perfect fit with the Lakers current rebuilding plan. He expected to have a much longuer deal but Lakers have no time fir long commitment as a 4 year deal will codte them somewhere around $75 or 80 million.

Kentavious is not a big deal to me. But well Lakers today isn't the old one anymore, old players are legends and they can't replace those players that had resigned before and having some rest now.
I think Kentavious Cadwell-Pope is the Best Player Available in the Free Agency. Althought he is not a mainstay for Lakers he would be a great addition to the young core's development. Also KCP can act as a cap filler in which the Lakers need in order to maintain the cap limit of the League. Althought stats does not show everything he is a solid defender and a great 3 pt shooter. I really think that Lakers will pursue big free agents in the 2018 free agency with this 1 year deal.

Is this official? Is the bulls will really release butler and remain wade instead? This is a great loss to chicago bulls. Timberwolves has lot of good players even without them. Karl Anthony Towns is enough. He just need time to get more experience. NBA must set a limitation to avoid superpower teams.

Yeah, Timberwolves are making good team. They surely can attack playoffs, but i don't think can do better than that, we'll see...
For me, Celtics are making a dynasty. I watched Jayson Tatum and Ante Žižić, and they look pretty good. With Hayward, they made really good team. I think Celtics can become regular Conference Finalist in following years.
