They did an exclusive cast of the match between liverpool and manchester city and the needed amount of goals was met quite easily @ over 2.5.
It was an exciting match just too bad they didn't win it but they grabbed a point.
Now can only look on to the matches left to see if they surpass them on the table.

Ha! You're welcome, all you who got the freebets. Hasn't hit in a while, not since the UCL week IIRC where Bayern just hammered out the goals. Needed over 7.5 for all games I think and they did it all by themselves.

Yes me, sorry  Sad

I picked in the pool against Arsenal before actually and this week instead I chose to bet on them because of their poor form the odds made it interesting. I think Arsenal are very strong with a fully fit squad but when even one or two key players are down,,, they struggle and will always concede.

Man, don't be sorry for picking an awesome upset. This used to be my forte, so I thought. Still picked some damned good ones this season but have really missed the mark overall.

Don't forget to check out the Easter promos, boys and girls.

Yeah well done on the yellow cap leea. Bloody deserved.

in the end, Good looked over Liverpool teams, but blue ones were closer to his heart
maybe it is because red ones looked more for him/her/it, and blue ones fought for points, rare event this season

and he/she/it was also looking to yellow/green ones, that won over Burnley, to keep blue ones safe from relegation

That's okay, it was always going to be tough, and I think if you asked most Reds before the season started if they'd take ending 1 point behind City after 31 games, most of them (probably myself included) would.

Seems like Manchester City have a little better fixture to the end of the season, but they have now 2 games in a row that can be very damaging for the moral of the team if you lose.

One for UCL against Atletico Madrid 13/04 and agaisnt Liverpool again for FA cup 16/4. In this times its when a lot of people say (and with reason) the English association didnt help his teams, how you can  put 3 day away of the UCL a semifianl of the FA cup.

On the other hand, win those two and City will probably cruise to the end. Odds on the FA Cup semi even heavier on Liverpool, and I'm not sure I've got much gas left in the tank to bet, but I'll do all I can to haha.

English FA is mad, we all know that Wink

Hard day for me yesterday, harder for Arsenal and Saints though.

I have a hard month , so imagine my bets ... . No matter what I chose , I end up losing it. I could give so many examples from my recent tickets what will shock you how unfortunate I can really be.

Hopefully , this streak will end soon so I could enjoy my favorite sport again  Grin.

I'm not in a much better situation. Actually, probably my worst run of betting form in recent memory, stretching back even to the end of last year. If not for Liverpool doing so well, I would be deep in the red, though yesterday really ruined me quite badly I'm a bit embarrassed I allowed that situation to happen, as I'm usually pretty disciplined heh. Call it a fixation on the impossible.

Doesn't mean I'm not enjoying football still! If anything, betting makes takes the excitement many notches up.
4704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: April 11, 2022, 08:29:07 AM
Just can't predict anything, but I guess that makes this league so bloody good to watch.

Now on to Citeh!
Perfect description pal! Cannot do better. You go, no you go Grin
Cannot find another league with the same epic fails except Serie A this season maybe. Things are weird there too.
City 2-2 Liverpool, I missed the game unfortunately but I assume it was intense there! They shared 1 point each and they will continue chasing each other until the last round apparently Wink

Yeah, it happens to me quite a lot in real life... either on public transport or crossing roads. Everyone's being nice giving way, and then at some point suddenly both parties decide to take it and then awkwardly see each other deciding the same, then withdrawing and starting the dance all over again.

2-2 game was intense, and you see several players being uncharacteristic: VVD panicking, committing a foul that earned him a card. Ederson panicking, almost scoring an own goal when he dug his boot into the pitch trying to clear. Trent trying to score instead of assisting...

Wish we won, but happy we didn't lose too.
4705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 10, 2022, 06:11:12 PM
Well, I guess I got to be happy, probably on balance the fair result, Fabinho's passing was poor, Trent was too determined to score (that long range attempt when any other day he passes), my heart was really suffering the entire game.

Lost all my big ML outlays, haha, but well, the race is still on. But yeah, that's how football matches should be. Not fun for the half of the fans half of the time, but glad it served up everything it promised.

I need a long rest!
4706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 10, 2022, 04:12:10 PM
Man, the pain of Bordeaux. I thought they should just lose today after conceding the first goal, and just end the misery of their fans once and for all. But no, they summon a way to score 3 goals and live to fight another day, along with the rest of the awful teams at the bottom rungs.

7 more games. They've been rescued again and again, but their fans are fed up. Time to say goodbye or you guys think royalty needs to stay up?
4707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: April 10, 2022, 03:09:30 PM
West Ham is losing right now with 2 goals vs Brentford.. They cannot profit from ManU failure and join Arsenal, it is hard for them apparently..
Otherwise Leicester and Norwich are leading with 1 goal each, with few minutes left in the game. Yep Norwich leading Roll Eyes

Arsenal, West Ham, United, Wolves -- arguably even Spurs and Leicester (okay fine, Conte seems to be on a jig but they've fooled me before). No one seems to want to play in Europe, or they're just giving each other chances every time: you go, no you go, why not you?

Norwich, heh. Burnley, heh. I give up, guys, really. Even Palace. Whip the big boys, stumble to the ex-big boys.

Just can't predict anything, but I guess that makes this league so bloody good to watch.

Now on to Citeh!

Kai Havertz and Raphinha hit yesterday, Kane unfortunately did not (why did I not go for Sonny haha) but Teemu Pukki has just joined Ivan Toney on the scoresheet today so I'm okay. Just need Salah to land a goal, and I get something finally out of MajSev.

Saka was on the losing side, I'd never have seen the scorers coming anyway I guess, so no real complaints there!
4709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 10, 2022, 01:22:39 PM
One of the rare days you watch an early game and you actually enjoy it (or my standards aren't so demanding on Sunday afternoon maybe?) but Immobile hattrick was not bad to watch, too bad Lazio can't play like this every game. Of course, if they'd just scored one goal fewer, I'd have an exact to kick off Sunday.

Can't have it all, huh, guys?
4710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Odds, units advantage | Sportsbook | +81785 units on: April 10, 2022, 11:18:08 AM
Right, this is not something anyone should do, but I'm having a torrid season as it stands, and have put all my eggs in one basket today.

So for this thread, I'll consider to use a big ML bet to either recover or end the season, and the odds anyway ARE good value for me.

Liverpool - City, what other game? City the favourites, rightly so. But Liverpool for the first time, match them in depth, and I'd say every attacker is on form, while Salah, who isn't loves turning up for the big games.

Odds are incredible on Sportsbet, so take it (Super Boost) if you can. My bets are on Fairlay at decent odds as well

1000 units on Liverpool to WIN vs City @3.73. Other odds: 3.66
Units advantage: 70

Running advantage after 125 bets: +13622 (+70)
All-time cumulative: +82,028
Running units after 124 bets (14W|110L): +728 (-100)
4711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 10, 2022, 10:51:28 AM
it was a slam finish for Sevilla, having 2:1 in the end, conceiving, and than scoring two within 10 minutes of added time
Atletico lost against Mallorca (it was time for them to win, eventually), so Betis is back to challenge their spot, not that they are going to made it to CL

lost my first spot in the pool, congrats to MoSala

Problem with spending so long at the top is you can get height sickness haha. And then as you retch you way down you just never feel the stomach for the top anymore.

Mallorca win wasn't even worth betting on... but I'm with Trofo. They can go to hell and die -- and I say this even actually liking one or two of their players. And I say that knowing they won't, and rest in the fact that they will always be around to annoy us. We did get our revenge against them this season, Real comes next hopefully.
4712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 10, 2022, 08:55:20 AM
@darxiaomi: Arsenal, Chelsea, United, Spurs -- all vying for the lead role in this season's casting for Jekyll and Hyde. Russian roulette really.

Switched picks last minute in this round: Wolves and Villa (despite the latter letting me down often). Gerrard's losing his bounce effect, hard for me to swallow. Luckily the table's just bunched up rather than gone away so I'm okay. What a bastard you've been, tumi.

Good guy Arsenal helping Man Utd stay in the top 5 race 👍

@toma don't need to change your mind, we're on the same choir. No coach can change United, United need to change first. Mentally, and accept the truth of LvG when he said they're a commercial club first and foremost. Long may that be.
Glazers gotta go. As long as they're there, Man Utd are doomed. I think Erik ten Hag still has the opportunity to leave this dumpster fire, right? or is it a done deal? i'm not sure... About Simeone, i don't see him lasting more than 1 week in Manchester lol  imo, his style of football does not suit United let alone the fast-paced EPL, i think he's more of a Serie A kind of manager

I'm in two minds. One wants United to fix themselves, same mind that wants Everton to. Klopp says, and he's right, you're better with tough opponents around you. We made United the force they were in the past, I'm sure they agree. Of course, if the Devil said City and others could be in that mix challenging every season, while United and Everton relegate, it'd be hard for me not to smile. It's evil maybe, but nothing malicious in there. So in that sense... long may Glazers reign =p

Grin. One person got the score correct as well
there's always an user who predicts a big upset every week, eh?  Cheesy i remember last week it was leea1334 with the Crystal Palace win against the gunners
[/quote]

And this week the only one who picked Everton AND got the exact score. Play a few more rounds like that leea you might yellow cap and break Top 10 ha!

Hard day for me yesterday, harder for Arsenal and Saints though. One shock defeat at home to wipe out the games in hand, I mean, they're still in it with a strong shout but probably exposes their thin squad. I know Arteta did the right thing letting Auba go -- just not sure it was the right thing to not get any cover. Youngins all doing their best but can't put the burden on the likes of Saka too long. Need only to see Barca's mistake in that.

And then Saints getting hammered. Tough, tough, tough.

Right, I have to stop it with this Verstappen insistence (not even my favourite guy) and start to acknowledge that this really could be (or already is) Leclerc's season. Tsunoda let me down again -- thought I'd push him into my Top 10, should have put Gasly on instead. And 2 of my podium picks didn't even finish the race ha!

Well done to darbit for claiming Australia, don't suppose anyone watched?
4715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: April 09, 2022, 06:43:02 PM
On the road, so impossible to listen to Clubhouse radio (gotta use a bandwidth hungry connex to do that) without killing my data heh but anyway, yeah, gotta say I am going to be tuning into them for City-Liverpool IF they're doing it exclusively. Usually watch my video mute and put them on, as long as they're on more or less the same telecast (anything more than 2 seconds is annoying).

Kind of glad I haven't been betting much this week on football, I'd have been deader in the water. Pool is horrific viewing too.

Anyone managed to catch the Super Boosts on Chelsea and Brighton?
4716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 09, 2022, 04:28:17 PM

@boltz Now THERE is an original thought. They 100% need a Simeone, to never win, yet be in top 4 all the time and just play spoiler football. Love that idea. Too bad he's just not glamourous enough for the board to ever look up, nor the club darkhorse enough for Diego to consider.

Absolute misery for me so far this week. Credit to leea for daring to believe in Everton (casper, what happened to you??) and credit to tumi for getting 3 scores right in a weird, weird week. Now I guess Spur just need to lose to continue today's amazing crappola of a round.
4717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Ether Prices Capped Upside Ahead, Says JPMorgan on: April 09, 2022, 03:21:18 PM
Not going to fall over any analysis from the likes of JPM right now but it does seem fair reasoning since really stablecoin hoarding is only for buying but even retail investment now is no longer all about usdt btc.

OTC, previously few and exclusively for whales, are now opening up slowly to those longer term holders who aren't necessarily whales -- let us say those who, in the dozens, collectively have whale purchasing power.

And with OTC that even means buying with collateral, not even direct trading anymore. I have always said that we cannot really tell true volumes as more and more trading is moving off-exchange and off-chain.
4718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: April 09, 2022, 01:41:31 PM
This Manchester United- Everton match looks like one of those games these guys get their redemption back after dropping several points in several games, and utd pretty much has thrown everything behind the game and they have run out of ideas... even the great Cristiano Ronaldo is very quiet today and I don't think anything will change , I guess United are in the worst of forms than I can imagine...congrats to Everton on beating Utd again  Tongue
Less than 15 minutes to go.

Lol United man, seriously. Not even the news of Ten Hag can lift them. Superstar team. Ronaldo. Pogba. Sancho. Fernandes. And they play like Championship team wanting to forcing a replay.

Everton of course I was hoping to see them in the league still next season so this is the best possible result. Shame I did not even have a single cent on this upset.

At this rate, they best prepare for even missing out on Conference League, tbh.

Finally graded last free bet challenge. I thought I done it before  Shocked
Remind me guys if results are not up on Wednesday, latest.

New one is up, this time no big derby games but we are still gonna have some fun. Barcelona again in it but I will try to avoid them in the next weeks, too much Barca in last challenges. Guess I am biased since I am choosing games on the criteria - game I would like too watch most Smiley

Thanks for grading, I actually almost don't remember at all until I really read my notifications or happen to be online when it pops up like last night heh. Notifications used to be useful but now they are so many I miss some anyway.

Barca again, no one's going to complain. The way they're playing lately is such a treat, really.

casper: Napoli, yeah, too much heartbreak for me past seasons (betting wise of course, not really invested in this league) but good luck. I'd love for them to win it, and after killing off Atalanta the way they did, if they find a way to sustain that rest of season, phew.
4720  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Little Surprised! on: April 09, 2022, 12:06:48 PM
Lucky that i made some selling couple days ago , actually before falling to 46k ,  as i badly needed funds for my Mothers Eye operation , so with this I am happy seeing it fall badly since yesterday.

But like OP and You , I am a bit surprise because i am having a second thought if will sell some bitcoin or will withdraw my funds in bank, so good decision on my part for this one.

Man, if I needed money for an emergency like that, I'm not even looking at the price or timing it, I'm choosing the fastest way to liquidate (which, thankfully for me, is still Localbitcoins, it gets me cash in less than a minute using a Trader "exchange bot").

I last needed a significant sum at the end of 2020, just as the rally was really starting to play out. I did feel a twinge of regret back in November for sure as it really was a chunk of my holdings, but the money was needed urgently and I didn't hesitate. I still sold above 2017 ATH, and on the balance, it was worth a hell lot more than if I'd saved in fiat, so absolutely pleased in the end anyway.

No point stacking if you can't use it to improve the lives of those dear to you, no?
