4721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Is the "network" slow today? on: November 12, 2017, 06:42:39 PM
bitcoin is not the right blockchain to actually use at this moment.
Wrong. Bitcoin is the most secure ledger, and the one that you should be using.

I wrote already to GDax support after 2h30 and 3 hours but still no answer...
Stop spamming the support with bullshit.

What else can I do? Just wait I guess ...? How many more hours can it last ?
Wait until the network starts operating normally.

GDAX send the currency for free, I guess they pay the network fees by themselves?
Yes.

What is the risk ?
The risk is losing all of your money.
4722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forum moderation policy on: November 12, 2017, 04:18:02 PM
The policy to not remove anything worked when the forum was small. Now that we have thousands of posts a day, we can't afford 50% of them being junk. The moderators are now instructed to be less tolerant of low-value posts.

Some guidelines:

1. Free speech - you can say anything as long as it is relevant and presented in a calm and polite manner. Swearing, SHOUTING etc. make your post more likely to be removed.
2. No zero value posts or threads, like "SELL SELL SELL"
3. No pointless or uninteresting threads.
4. No referral code spam
5. No NSFW content

What's NSFW content?

4723  Economy / Reputation / Re: Recommendations for additions to Default Trust on: November 12, 2017, 04:15:20 PM
I would recommend adding the following to your trust list:
Code:
~lauda
I see that the snowflake is still butthurt that his shady empire got destroyed. Roll Eyes

The Pharmacist.
He was actually one I was considering and I had already asked him if he would like to be included, but wanted to make sure he was prepared for all the drama that will inevitably ensue from all the shitposters and account farmers he's tagged.
+1 for this from me. Obviously he may have to correct a few ratings, but IMO most of his are very good ratings.

What about zazarb?
No.
4724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔹🔹🔹[ANN][BSD] BitSend -The first Segwit Masternodecoin 0.14.0.3 Airdrop on: November 12, 2017, 04:11:34 PM
For a Masternode 25k BSD is yet required. Will that persist in the future ?
Yes. That requirement will never change as it is a consensus rule.
Well, it could be changed if the majority agrees to support such a change or am I wrong?
There is absolutely no chance that masternode owners would agree to a change where the requirement gets lower. They may agree to increase the requirement. That is the only economically rational stance for them.
4725  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 12, 2017, 01:08:56 PM
I want to send someone $200 in bitcoin....what fee would ensure it happens inside 24 hours?
Quote
The fastest and cheapest transaction fee is currently 950 satoshis/byte, shown in green at the top.
For the median transaction size of 226 bytes, this results in a fee of 214,700 satoshis.
https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/

Probably an overestimation. Just wait until the hashrate is back up as it should be.
4726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 12, 2017, 11:15:45 AM
time to all bch->btc?
You should have done that at 0.4-0.5 to maximize gains from this artificial pump. There's still time to exit.

Tell that to buyers of bitcoin at 7900,
False comparison.

Where is your forum by the way ? For ultra fast ultra cheap btc transactions? Are you gonna confirm 160K bitcon transactions?
The fact that you're asking the latter question just shows how dumb you are. Wait for the retarget of BCH and see what happens.

We have bunch of great projects much better and faster than BTC.
What a load of garbage. There is literally maybe a couple projects, i.e. <10 that actually have value. Most of them are propaganda scams, e.g. DASH, IOTA, Waves, Lisk, MAID, etc.
4727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 12, 2017, 10:52:27 AM
Bitcoin cash is just a scam ( Bitcoin ABC , unlimited ) their software sucks and BTG is making the same way..
Correct.

Bitcoin Cash has no strong acceptance then Bitcoin Its just a manipulation and miners are following this trend i think soon when it dumps to 250 usd people will realise the scam of bitcoin cash got them broke.
It is not that it has no "strong acceptance". It literally has almost zero acceptance.

Now it is on the people how they will react when they will realize this is just fake coin and has no real support behind this.
Whoever was not aware of this at the beginning of this pump is an uneducated baboon to begin with.
4728  Economy / Reputation / Re: Stolen Signature Design on: November 12, 2017, 10:39:36 AM
What is in for you from all of this? What do you earn from this mess?
Why do good people do good? Does everyone have an ulterior motive? Why does anyone do anything? There are just some of the mysteries of life..

4729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 12, 2017, 10:29:18 AM
Is the rally over?
There was no "rally". This is an orchestrated attack by Roger Ver & co. It will persist until: a) He runs out of money. b) Someone legally shuts his market manipulation down. c) Someone illegally shuts down his market manipulation.

Really profiting investing in BCH...
So is investing in MLM schemes for the first movers but the last movers maybe not so much with many ending up bankrupt by greed
Exactly. All this artificial pump was good for was quickly profiting if you're a trader (i.e. getting more BTC). However, if you really wanted to profit then you would have bought sub 0.1 (i.e. pre-pump). Now it has turned into a game of "Who's going to be the next bagholder?".
4730  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lauda gives abusive negative trust on: November 12, 2017, 10:26:34 AM
How the F**K someone like you has so much power?!?!?!?
You must be confused. If I had actual power, both you and Alltradex would be banned and I wouldn't have a massive wall of butthurtTM ratings on my profile. Grin
4731  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OGNasty abuse of rank to ruin accounts in good standing on: November 12, 2017, 10:10:01 AM
The only thing you can do at this point is to petition the D1 users to exclude OG.
The Trust system works fairly well if the self policing works.
DT2 could also be petitioned to negate the feedback, assuming the DT2 member wanted to risk Og excluding them.  Huh
There are two risks with standing up to a DT1 member, one is getting excluded (which doesn't really do much if there's only 1 exclusion) and the other one is getting neg. rated. We know that theymos is very careful/slow with DT changes and such conflict could take weeks/months to resolve (if ever). Although, I don't recall many direct conflicts between a DT2 and a DT1 member.
4732  Economy / Reputation / Re: Stolen Signature Design on: November 12, 2017, 09:58:52 AM
I'M SURE THAT IF ALTTRADEX WILL PAY LAUDA, THIS WILL BE FORGOTTEN!
You sure seem to make a look of valid conclusions./s Let's take a look at some of the times when users actually attempted to pay. Roll Eyes

1. An alt of Lauda's best "friend", QS.
If you can't legitimately beat someone's argument or get them to back off of your shady actions, then attack them via shills. Classic QS.
4733  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lauda gives abusive negative trust on: November 12, 2017, 09:29:49 AM
And because Lauda doesn't get his bribe, or a piece of the Alttradex cake he destroys Alttradex and everyone affiliated with him!
Shocked Shocked Did Alttradex try bribe Lauda? Thats something new...
I'm more convinced that ElPedras is part of the Alttrade's accounts or is just working for them with every post. They have all been put on ignore quite some time ago, thus nobody can "offer" me anything.
4734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 12, 2017, 09:13:45 AM
Roger Ver sent 25k BTC to Bitfinex: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/7cefom/roger_ver_just_sent_25k_btc_to_bitfinex/. Now you know just how many people are "switching", i.e. almost zero. Either he gets burned, or these plebs do. Roll Eyes

http://blog.vermorel.com/journal/2017/11/11/bitcoin-cash-is-bitcoin-a-software-ceo-perspective.html

Propaganda with nothing but lies, fully sponsored by the con man Ver. What an annoying day with a massive coordinated attack of shilling and propaganda. Roll Eyes

Like I said yesterday, just hold BTC and BCH in equal proportions and you're protected whether Bitcoin Core or Bitcoin Cash wins.
There is no "winning". Bitcoin Cash is a centralized attack, while 2x was just a distraction. If that "wins", everyone loses.
4736  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Trust on: November 11, 2017, 03:37:20 PM
Poor little man...so tough behind PC.
That's both discriminatory and sexist.

Fuck off (that's honest for once).
Quoted for reference, again.
4737  Other / Archival / W on: November 11, 2017, 03:17:05 PM
Wipe.
4738  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Trust on: November 11, 2017, 03:11:22 PM
I just gave you the same tag as you did for me which was also a lie.
Quoted for reference. You can forget about your rating being removed and I would actually be surprised if you don't receive more negative ratings for your chronic lying.

Sad, such a dueche has a power to fuckup so many accounts, just look at your trust history - your giving negative tags just like that.
Every single account deserved it, including yours (which is also being confirmed by every other post you've made in this thread).

... that hilariousandco steps in to him in a way: "cmon do him a favour this time, he said he's sorry, show mercy..."..
You obviously have no idea how hilariousandco is nor how I am. Our levels of tolerance for bullshit and dishonest behavior is very low.
4739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Is the "network" slow today? on: November 11, 2017, 01:31:18 PM
The network might not be slow, sometimes it depends on the confirmation of the transaction on the blockchain, you need to exercise some patients. When I started dealing in cryptocurrency,  I also thought as much. Some transactions can take roughly 3 confirmation blocks.
Classic shitpost. You should give advice to anyone.

I think because tons of transactions have been made.
Yes and no. There are multiple reasons:
1) Increased demand (number of transactions).
2) Massive coordinated SPAM attack to shill BCH.
3) Hashpower temporarily switching to BCH in order to reap the increased profits due to the artificial pump.
4740  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Trust on: November 11, 2017, 10:17:58 AM
I hope Lauda won't ignore me again, if so, could you step in?

You took all that time in this post to be nice to Lauda, then you nullify it in one sentence.   Undecided
Ironically, this is what he has tagged me with:

Which is nothing but a blatant lie. Embarrassed
