4721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it getting late to buy crypto again? on: September 12, 2020, 10:12:10 AM
(...)
Try to trade bitcoin by events, if some bad news is obviously bitcoin will go down. I think this is the only tactic for me.
This kind of way of trading is really popular before, but as time goes by, people are getting used to it.
Correct me if I am wrong, we can call it a FUD, especially there are some huge entity spreading some false or negative news about Bitcoin and it causes a huge dump on Bitcoin or sometimes a pump.
4722  Other / Archival / Re: Grayscale bought BTC for $ 690M in the last 100 days on: September 12, 2020, 10:04:17 AM
That's quite a huge number.
What I am curious here is how we can know if those numbers are legit or after they buying such Bitcoin, do they not selling it after some move of the price?
I am also curious about what happened if Grayscale will dump those Bitcoin in the future?
4723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Can Reverse Bitcoin Transactions? on: September 12, 2020, 09:42:46 AM
It's true  65% of all the mining are held in China, but it's actually not possible to reverse a bitcoin transaction, we all know it's impossible, but if they have found a way to do it, then it's more scarier than I thought, imagine after buying some btc's and after it reaches your wallet, the next minute they're all gone Shocked,i just hope it's not true.
Scary like hell. Also what I remember before when Binance was breached and lost around $40m.
"Binance Considered Pushing for Bitcoin ‘Rollback’ Following $40 Million Hack".
CZ Binance or the founder mentioned before to rollback the transaction to get back the 40million USD hacked on their exchange. He mentioned some huge players in Bitcoin mining industries. But after then, they were not able to roll back the transaction and it's better then.
Really scary, Binance is popular and have connection on country of China.
4724  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: INTRODUCTION TO CHART FOR NEWBIES on: September 12, 2020, 09:35:49 AM
Back again after travelling a while so lets continue with some more helpful and simplified series.
RSI (The relative strength index) Simplified
What is RSI - It is an indicator that can be used to determine if an asset is in overbought or oversold territory. It can range from 0-100 and it is displayed as an oscillator.
(.....)
This is one of the best indicator I am using in my chart, before entering a trader or before closing our trade, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is extremely useful.
For what I am also experience using such Relative Strength Index (RSI), the higher timeframe we are using here, the more effective it is.
4725  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't use your bitcointalk account password on other websites on: September 12, 2020, 09:27:02 AM
In terms of using such strong passwords,
this thread may help for creating a strong password that will help us in our different accounts: [GUIDE] How to Create a Strong/Secure Password
I already experienced this kind of scenario before, especially in one of the exchanges I am using before, I really don't have an idea why they were able to log in my account. One of the reasons could be like this (using the same password in different websites), or another one is the insider of the exchange or they have been breached.

tryninja and I also created it, what technology did you use to create this bot?
(...)
Thanks for those words, I am also fan of your bot and it is one of my inspiration creating this one, I used Javascript on this bot, node.js framework.

Hi mate its been a while since I last posted here. Have you check out this thread?
[Upgrade!] So.... on which board did you earn (or spent) most of your (s)Merit?
(....)
Hi, sorry for the late response. Thanks for the interest for this bot and another feature you suggesting for the bot, it is really amazing for that.
For the kind of feature you are asking, it's really possible but really takes time to do it.

These past few months, I become busy and not updating some of the part of the bot. But it's still working. Thank you all for using the bot.
4727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Insolar MainNet and XNS price speculation on: September 12, 2020, 08:28:05 AM
Is XNS an ERC20 token?
Nope, they have now their own native coin on their own main net.
I remember before when Insolar was still INS, they are just ERC20 token before under Ethereum network.
Here is the current chart of Insolar, it's still early for now. But what I notice on their project is really amazing, they improved a lot. I thought before Insolar is already dead.
The market cap is increasing as of now, there is still no huge dump or pump.

4728  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Emotet Warning: Japan France and New Zealand issued Bulletin on: September 10, 2020, 11:10:15 PM
Even if you do not live in the above mentioned countries, you may be affected by the emotet Trojan. For example, if you have email contacts to these countries (private or business), there is a bit more risk likely to get affected. Unfortunately I know some companies that are/were not only affected by this Trojan.
Yep, those mentioned countries are only for sure the major countries that this kind of spreading malware.

This malware is really notorius. As what I saw in a news about this malware, the malware already exist about 5 years ago and now, it is back again with some major countries are one of targets of said malware.

Here is some tips how we can this kind of malware from toolbox
  • Disable macros within MS Office. Only enable macros that are digitally signed or from trusted locations
  • Ensure your anti-virus software on your endpoint device is active and up to date
  • Restrict PowerShell to only executing signed scripts
  • Apply the principles of least privilege
  • Use of mail and web filters to block known Emotet documents and C2
  • Application whitelisting
4729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My experience is gambling on: September 10, 2020, 10:59:33 PM
I also remember what my friend told me before when he is with me when we gambling and it is my first time to win,
"Don't be happy too much when you are winning, brace yourself if you will lose in the future. It's just happy when you are winning."
My friend really got a point here.
For OP, I really agree on what you told about the self control, this kind of attitude MUST have or posses for every people who are in gambling or even planning to start or try gambling.
4730  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fibonacci Retracement for dummies on: September 10, 2020, 10:50:00 PM
Something about Fibonacci is that it is also like those indicators that disappoints. Most times I feel it gets beaten by price easily. I use it as support or resistance with other indicator for better trading.
I am also using it too for identifying some pullbacks (short or long).
Fibonacci is really good tool for identifying your target too and possibly re enter or catching some dumps to enter (if you are fan of entering during dump, like catching some knives).
As a trader, using Fibonacci Retracement is useful, I remember when first time I saw and tried this, it really confusing, especially if you are not familiar what is Fibonnaci is or how it works in general, that's why it's important we should also know the origin of it or how it works in general, not only in charts.
4731  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Lorem ipsum for cryptocurrency on: September 10, 2020, 10:43:56 PM
(....)
This will be a great asset for those who are in the field of website development. I am sure some developers from themeforest must have used it while creating cryptocurrency based themes.
As a inspired web developer, I really appreciate this lorem ipsum for cryptocurrency, because lately I was really involved in some web development major on frontend part.
This is kinda confusing somehow for some people if we use this and they don't have idea with cryptocurrency.
But this is effective for sure for some cryptocurrency projects, not only on web development but in some works too, like graphics designing.
4732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Can Reverse Bitcoin Transactions? on: September 10, 2020, 10:40:38 PM
I'm not surprised that the one who said China can reverse Bitcoin transactions is Chris Larsen. Because the goal is to spread FUD,
in order for the Bitcoin price to fall.
(...)
Most of the people said this, because Chris Larsen is connected with XRP. Let's say someone said it without connected to other altcoins or shitcoins.
Most of us for sure hate XRP here, but Chris Larsen is just saying his opinion, let's not ignore it because he is connected with XRP.
That's why I created the thread to discuss about the reversing some Bitcoin transactions if miners will coordinate somehow.
4733  Economy / Speculation / Re: If market crashes, BTC will crash twice as hard. on: September 10, 2020, 10:37:09 PM
I see there is a strong correlation between SPY and Bitcoin prices.  BTC has a higher beta, however.  Whenever SPY tanks, BTC tanks twiiiiiice as hard, (as it was the first time, I said good byeeee)
In March, BTC dropped from $10k to $5k.      I am calling for another BitCoin wipeout when the market crashes.
At first, I am also thinking this, that there are correlation with some stocks like SPY with Bitcoin.
When coronavirus started to spread all over the world last March, yes a huge dump in stock market and Bitcoin too.
But what is the different with Bitcoin last time was, the bounce back of Bitcoin is fast compare to some stocks.
4734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / China Can Reverse Bitcoin Transactions? on: September 08, 2020, 10:58:21 PM
I am surprised on what I saw in Forbes article lately.

"Chris Larsen, Executive Chair Of Ripple, Argues China Can Reverse Bitcoin Transactions" - READ MORE

Quote
According to Larsen, “…at least 65 percent of cryptocurrency mining is concentrated in China, which means the Chinese government has the majority needed to wield control over those protocols and can effectively block or reverse transactions”

My question is, is this really possible? Does it mean if 65% of cryptocurrency mining is located in China then they can possible to reverse Bitcoin transactions? Unless if they will all cooperate.

This is kinda bit scary since when I started to own and use Bitcoin, I haven't saw or experience reversing some Bitcoin transaction.

So, if this will ever happen, what could be possible effects or downsides in Bitcoin or in whole cryptocurrency?
4735  Other / Beginners & Help / Lorem ipsum for cryptocurrency on: September 08, 2020, 02:50:06 PM
First time to hear Lorem ipsum? Or you already heard but don't have an idea what is this?

Here is short definition of Lorem ipsum from Wikipedia;
In publishing and graphic design, Lorem ipsum is a placeholder text commonly used to demonstrate the visual form of a document or a typeface without relying on meaningful content.

If you are use to create some graphic designs or somehow developer of websites or any software that using some dummy text for demonstration first of what you are working, you probably already know what is Lorem ipsum.

I am amazed on what I found recently, it is a lorem ipsum that is about cryptocurrency.

It's called placehodler.

It's just amazing since you can copy it by plain text, markdown or html ready.

P.S. I don't own this website or somehow connected.
4736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin for salary on: September 08, 2020, 02:25:17 PM
I don't have lot knowledge about different things about legalities or some government things.

I am become curious about paying an employee using Bitcoin direct to it's Bitcoin wallet.
Like these days, some of our salary are paid in different method, some are being deposit on some bank accounts, some are cheque, some are cash directly.

I want to ask if we will make official method for paying our employees in Bitcoin directly to their Bitcoin wallet.
Is this method is not foul on the government? Or it is legal?
Especially on the department of government that is about the labor or employment.
4737  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Downloading into not safe website. on: September 08, 2020, 02:10:17 PM
I also experienced this way of downloading android applications before on my android phones. Just like APKPure website or something like that.

By the way, I also tried to use some website that you will only copy the link of the app from playstore and paste it in another website,
what I am using before is this : https://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/
Is this still not safe for some reason or it's still the same with some APKPure or like websites?
4738  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too much HODLing stealing opportunities? on: September 08, 2020, 12:02:53 AM
We don't know what will happen, you can't tell those numbers when we haven't yet experienced or reach those.
It's really difficult. Compare to me, when I first bought my Bitcoin I am hoping a very huge returns or hold it for a long time to reserve for my next generation. Owning Bitcoin makes me proud, even no one knows I am holding some.
But what I treat on my Bitcoin bought on different prices are kinda my emergency funds, if ever there are some urgent needs or whatever happens, I have my Bitcoin and use it.
4739  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we at the first sell off point now?. on: September 07, 2020, 11:47:32 PM
You got a point.
It kinda has similarity back on 2017. But for me, if ever we really in sell off point and become a bear trap, I don't see any below $6, 000 anymore here.
It's still difficult for now, we already fall below $10, 000 few days ago. Are we bouncing back on top again to make short trades? Let's hope not, bears are really pathetic now. More liquidations will come these days.

4740  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction by 2021 on: September 07, 2020, 11:35:41 PM
2020 - 2021 will be an interesting year for cryptocurrencies, because the Pandemic is still not over and a vaccine is still not produced,
making cryptocurrencies one of the best assets so far, maybe 2021 will be a big surprise.
Let's skip the 2020. I'll be more curious on 2021-2023. And about the pandemic, it's still normal, why when pandemic started to spread all over the world, we saw a huge drop on all the markets, not only on cryptocurrencies but in stocks too.
But what I am amazed and surprised was the stock market, lot of stocks made another all-time-highs.
