4721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 50% increase in Doge coin price in just 24 hours! on: July 10, 2020, 11:56:23 PM
Well yeah, several days ago, this is booming enough, really influencing the price of DOGE. It is like a very high hype of the coin that is aimed and expected to reach its higher price again in the immediate period. However, is it just a hype only?
Well, let's see what happened several days ago on 8 July, the price of the DOGE increased more than 50% reaching more than $0.0053. However, what's about now? Let's see the graphic on the CMC and other crypto trackers, the price of this coin drops drastically. And now it is at $0.003571 USD again. Although it is still higher than a week ago, the price still cannot reach its ATH that ever happened in 2018. Or, it can be that the DOGE coin still needs more time to maintain the price and then increase drastically.
4722  Economy / Economics / Re: Even More Evidence of Coronavirus as Financial Reset on: July 10, 2020, 11:49:12 PM
Well, let's point out the thread here. So, are you informing and promoting about hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) as Covid-19 treatment or infirming us about the negative impact of COVID-19 virus on the financial system?
About the treatment of this virus, there are several similar cases that claim the treatment for this virus but until now this is not happening. So, probably we will need more evic=dences to ensure that this is the exact treatment that can be used by all people in all countries in this world.

Second, about the financial reset because of the coronavirus pandemic. yes, it can be one of the factors. As we know that many countries face crisis financially and moreover globally. Many industries collapse, closed, and also many of them are bankrupt because of this virus. Many people in the world lose their jobs, lose their income and also get poor because of this pandemic, they can work again to fulfil their needs. they only have money for food but no money for other necessities. After this virus ends, I cannot think how they can reset their income and also financial from the start.

However, it may not influence all people. Many people working by online likely in the crypto world may still be able to get the income and also no need to reset the financial system.
4723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Revolution or Evolution ? on: July 10, 2020, 11:41:11 PM
At first, I also consider that Bitcoin is a revolution of the currency so far used by the world.
As we know, as in the whitepaper of BTC is
Quote
A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution.
From this, the aim of the BTC is for a digital currency to be used as the currency, but it is digitally. It will act like cash as usual.

however, BTC is a decentralized system and it cannot be regulated, controlled, and also stated. The price of the BTC is very volatile and it depends on the market itself. The volatility of the BTC is the one that makes this digital currency is quite difficult to be used or considered as a payment method so far. Moreover, it is decentralized. That is why, it seems to be evolutional currency because the market and price of the BTC is still not mature enough, volatile, and also cannot be a benchmark.
4724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchange? No Value! on: July 07, 2020, 09:59:13 PM
Of course, if the coin isn't listed in an exchange, then how it can have value. No one trades the coin if it isn't listed in an exchange yet. But if you still keep the coin in your private wallets, you may have a chance to see that coin listed on an exchange anymore. Have you contacted the team members of batcoin and ask them about the plan to list on a new exchange? They can plan to list the batcoin to a new exchange. Anyway, I advise you to not buy a coin that is listed on a small/untrusted exchange only. You are better to buy a coin listed on top exchanges or big exchanges. It will be much better if the coin has already been listed on some exchanges and have big volumes there.
4725  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What I have learnt so far, my advices for newbies. on: July 07, 2020, 09:48:44 PM
Excellent in work serious efforts or quality posts
Do a thorough research to get valid points, giving no room to execuses. And excellent work will contain only authentic information. With this, some smerit givers will merit your posts. If your post is not merited, you will still be confident to report it in a thread created for unmerited posts.

I think it is not about the excellent in work, but do serious efforts or make quality posts. Excellent in work means extraordinary efforts, in fact merits not only for extraordinary efforts or exceptional posts. But as long as you can make useful or valuable efforts/posts, then people may give you merits. However, I suggest to not think too much about merits as the focus should be on how to improve quality posts or do more useful efforts to the forum. We also can make helpful things, then people will thank you with merits if they want.   Wink
4726  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade isn’t for Me guys. on: July 07, 2020, 06:01:05 PM
My Luck is not for Trading, I think Trading is not for Me.
Does it mean "you give up", buddy? I also experienced many losses in trading but I think stopping trading isn't the right solution. If you are still dreaming to stay longer in crypto space, you need to learn and do trading. To make profits, you need to trade your coins as you won't keep them on wallets forever. And to trade well, you need to have trading skills and do proper ways of trading. How you can master them? You need to learn trading from various sources and got experiences. It is not easy learning to trade as it is not a simple work but if you are serious about it, then you probably master it gradually. So, I suggest you to continue trading, don't stop it too early.
4727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Start investing in encryption currency,Target profit to double on: July 07, 2020, 05:13:34 PM
Be careful, never believe in the very legit investment that will double your funds easily. Moreover, it is a big amount to deposit. So, it is better for us all to search and research this kind of investment. So that we will not regret our decision.
Nowadays, many scams act as an investment platform and promise very big profits only in a short time or period. But then, it gives nothing, the funds are lost and we have nothing. Hopefully, this is not that kind of scam, but of course, be careful
4728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VeChain to be used to verifiy authenticity of Nike Shoes on: July 07, 2020, 05:04:47 PM
A very potential step for the adoption of this blockchain technology. yes, I also read it, if VeChain is used to verify Nike shoes that are not genuine.
Actually, isn't this the first time that large companies have collaborated and used VeChain technology? Previously, if I'm not mistaken, there is also a Walmart subsidiary in tracking food products. And now there is Nike.

Isn't this very special? This can prove that the longer the blockchain technology is increasingly being occupied and trusted in supporting various industries. The development and adoption of blockchain technology can prove how technology will be always developing, moreover for the shake of the global industry and changes.

4729  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you value to add value to Human knowledge or your value is to earn merits? on: July 07, 2020, 04:53:07 PM
..snip..
Actually, merit will come naturally according to the quality of the posts we make. Always try to contribute well, do not spam posts, and also make posts that are useful, not out-of-topics, answer questions, informative, of course, later merit will come.
In this case, as what I experienced, I was very lazy to be a good member here, only posting to fulfill my signature campaign requirement without paying attention to the quality of the posts. 2 years and got nothing. then, learning by doing, reading more, and also trying harder in this forum, listening to the advice by the other members lead me to change my mind. Give the best to this forum, and then this forum will give you the best to you.
4730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Victim in need of help! on: July 07, 2020, 03:53:29 PM
..I clearly wasn't looking either, and just took a picture of the QR code and sent it to the scammer's phone number.
'
This is where your money went, yeah the QR is for the BTC address of the scammers. If your transaction has been a success, it means that your transaction has been sent to the scammer wallet.

In this case, I'm sorry to hear that, but this scam is actually very common to happen in my country. But the way is not by giving BTC but transferring money to a bank account. Actually the pattern is almost the same.

If so, is there a way to exchange my bitcoins back to normal currency?
'
Unfortunately, if your transaction was successful, it means that your money has gone. You cannot get your money back or even get the BTC. You may not be able also to track where the money has gone because it is sometimes anonymous. Hopefully, this can be a big lesson for you and all of us to be more careful whatever the news and condition.
4731  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The advantage in being part of this forum on: July 06, 2020, 11:58:49 PM
2. It will become easy for you to search for a good project when you have an in-depth studies about the use of coin or development of project.
3. You will not be lead in wrong exchange because there are discussions here talk about exchanges.
For number 2 and 3 purely depend on the member. If the member wants to learn seriously and in a proper way, then he can be easier to get good projects as you said above. But for who are lazy to learn and greedy, they probably never changed even they have been years in the bitcointalk forum. While for number 3, instead many bounty hunters often lead to wrong exchanges because of trading shit-tokens got from bounties. In this matter, it is the disadvantage to come here.
4732  Economy / Economics / Re: Cannabis company in Colombia using blockchain for their crops. on: July 06, 2020, 11:47:39 PM
Well, so there are several cannabis companies in Columbia that use blockchain technology. Well, that's good enough because many more industries will realize the importance of the blockchain technology.

Aside from good or not cannabis, blockchain will give a positive impact on the industry. besides getting the ease tracking on the company, the use of blockchain technology may work for:
1. Better transparency
where the people in the industry can easily check for the transparency, for the funds, flows, data, and many more.
2. A more enhanced security system
using blockchain is considered to have a more advanced security system.
And more others such as Improved traceability, more efficient and speedy, and of course Reduced costs.

And what the companies should do/have to use this technology?
of course, the readiness of the company systems, the workers, and also the regulation of the company.
The system and workers may be easy to realize. But, what;s about the regulation? Moreover, it is about that kind of company? Sometimes, the use of blockchain technology has to have certain regulations in order to check the transparency and also its traceability. Although blockchain actually offer them well, not all country regulation can accept it.
4733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Managers and Shit projects on: July 06, 2020, 11:35:49 PM
Bounty Managers will at some point cares only for themselves most times, it's left for bounty hunters to do good research before promoting any new projects, safe yourselves from dubious projects and stop blaming bounty managers, you are here to get tokens for money and it's same aim for bounty managers too
It is true that both bounty managers and hunters have the same purposes. I also don't blame the bounty managers who still provide shit-tokens bounties because they are also humans who can make mistakes on analyzing new bounties. However, bounty managers shouldn't have the intention to provide shit-tokens bounties that paid them in BTC or top coins. If they do that way, we can judge them to cooperate with scammers to deceive people. But I am pretty sure, top bounty managers won't do that bad way.
4734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Facebook advertising boycott could be a good thing for crypto startups. on: July 06, 2020, 11:25:57 PM
It will also be arguably beneficial for crypto companies especially, to not have to depend on Facebook for advertising and hopefully we'll see crypto companies utilizing different platforms for advertising.
Developers/companies shouldn't depend on Facebook only to promote their new crypto projects. Facebook can change anytime about the regulation of crypto ads. We must have various social media as promotion options. There are Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and Telegram as appropriate places for advertising. So, because of many alternatives, I don't see that we must depend on Facebook. Regarding the boycott, I think it is no need to do since it seems to have no significant influence.
4735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to spend Bitcoin on: July 06, 2020, 10:58:03 PM
In my opinion, I will prefer to choose the title: Merchants that Accept Bitcoin as payment.
If your title is "Where to spend Bitcoin", I will definitely  answer:
I will spend my Bitcoin on my local exchange, convert it to fiat, transfer it to my bank account and make its cash. then, I will spend the money for everything that I need.

The lists may not work well for me, moreover, in my country, BTC is not legal for payment. I'm also not interested to buy something with BTC.   Grin Grin
4736  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of the fake Elon Musk bitcoin giveaway on: July 06, 2020, 12:08:57 AM
If we are browsing about the scam using Elon Musk's name, there will be many sources that report the scam and fake giveaway.
Moreover, this kind of scam was since around October 2018, with the almost same ways.
https://www.coindesk.com/twitter-let-a-fake-elon-musk-account-promote-a-crypto-scam

And now it is there again.
One of them can be found here:
https://news.bitcoin.com/elon-musk-bitcoin-giveaway-scam-millions-dollars-btc/

Be careful about this kind of similar scam. What you need to watch out when participating in a giveaway is:
1. Never only believe in one source, you must do your own research to the official sites, social media, and also compare to the other legitimate sources.
2. Never easily tempted by big giveaway rewards, so that you aside the logic to analyze it and just follow the other friends.
3. be careful if you must send ETH/BTC first to unlock the rewards, it may be suspicious and need to watch out, better to check, and recheck again.
4. Never only tempted by the big name, you must know which one is legit and scam.
5. Last, never be greedy because greedy may lead you to play or do without logic analysis and consideration.
4737  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: July 05, 2020, 11:45:23 PM
the previous halving was a very good effect it make the bitcoin price very stable -snip-
Do all investors or holders expect for the stable price on Bitcoin after halving? NO, if the price tends to be stable after halving, then it is categorized as negative impacts. All holders have been preparing everything and waiting for the big rise in Bitcoin price. They all hope for a significant raise after halving. But unfortunately, the current price seems rather stable and still cannot reach another level ($10,000). This may happen because many investors or holders already took profits once they saw the price meets their targets.
4738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO SCAM on: July 05, 2020, 11:36:48 PM
For now ICO was not good at all and it should be avoided because some people used ICO to scam some investor which is not a good idea, you must join now IEO on the top exchange and don't join on the exchange that has a fake volume or else your funds would be lose.
You are right. Most ICOs are no longer trustable and too risky investing our funds there. Even there is a trustable ICO, but they were only a few of ICOs and rarely appeared. Well, the best option is participating in IEOs. But ensure that the exchange can be trustable and has a good reputation. Binance, Bittrex, or Kucoin are examples of trustable places for IEOs. While Latoken, P2PB2B, and other small exchanges are not really trustable places for IEOs. However, even it is a trusted exchange, we are better to do more research as the future of that new coins don't depend on the IEOs only.
4739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Happens To The Altcoins If Bitcoin Drops Strong? on: July 05, 2020, 11:25:25 PM

                                       Source: coinmarketcap

It is an easy answer. If Bitcoin drops, then altcoins will probably follow it as they depend on the performance of Bitcoin. Just look at the picture above, It described clearly that most altcoins are following the performance of Bitcoin. FYI, it is the picture of current drops of crypto coins, the picture was taken from coinmarketcap. Except for Tether, stable coins aren't following Bitcoin performance as their prices depend on dollars.
4740  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why KYC is extremely dangerous – and useless on: July 05, 2020, 11:10:45 PM
I think the only danger on submitting our kyc is that our identity would be rob by scammers and use it for their own activities on fraud works.
Indeed. And what you said basically already stated by OP and others above. Well, that's why we must be careful and never share private data like our identities. You should ever hear that our identities can be traded on the black market. It is a warning, thinking about the risks before submitting private data to any project teams.
