4721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Marginal bets for newbies on: May 30, 2016, 11:22:42 AM
Are you talking about the martingale betting strategy? I could not find anything on Google about 'Marginal bets'.
If so, you're right about people using that strategy to lure in newbies through their referral link, especially in Youtube video's claiming '100% win rate'.
4722  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: May 30, 2016, 08:48:14 AM
It's pretty cool that Bitcoin is inspiring people to take up programming, that's definitely a skill worth having.

It sounds like you just need some better time management, make sure you spend at least one or two days a week away from your computer and do some of your more active hobbies.

It really helps you to stay focussed during your work days and it's also good for your mental and physical health.
4723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MAY 22nd: World Bitcoin Pizza Day - Are you helping mass adoption ? on: May 30, 2016, 08:35:39 AM
I gave all my friends some Bitcoin to buy games on g2a and they were all very surprised at how easy it was to use. Unfortunately none of them liked it enough to start only using Bitcoin when shopping online.

have you shown them how you had stuff from g2a for nearly half price because you bought btc a while ago ?
Good example, but I just say I've been eating pizza and takeout basically for free because I bought Bitcoin cheap.
Through pizza.be I can order anything with Bitcoin.

To answer the poll:
I think that merchant adoption of Bitcoin is the key to Bitcoin growth. And if there was a way to buy btc without having to pay any fees, people would use it even more.
It's good that Btc transaction cost very little, but exchanging fiat to Bitcoin still costs quite a bit, especially the instant methods.
4724  Economy / Services / Re: 5% profit on your BTC on: May 29, 2016, 02:45:17 PM

I posted the exact match/odds/links. You can use this tool to verify the arb easier than having to calculate everything yourself:
http://www.winnergambling.com/sports-betting-bingo/surebet-calculator/

Thanks for posting this tool, very interesting thread (aside from the sig spam), I had never heard about arbitrage on sportsbetting before.
I'll see if I can find some myself, pretty easy money without much effort Smiley

Payment received, thanks!
4726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you trust to bitcoin casinos? on: May 27, 2016, 02:27:18 PM
This is no different thab with traditional casinos and those usually have even a higher house edge then most Bitcoin casinos.
With provably fair  Bitcoin casinos you know that they couldn't be cheating.
4727  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How important is the member status of your trading partner? on: May 26, 2016, 03:04:32 PM
Pretty unanimous results, but yeah, I would never trade without the use of a trusted escrow. Maybe not if it's a really low amount and I'm dealing with a really trusted seller that wouldn't want to risk ruining his reputation.
4728  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is it still profitable to have btc exchange service/site ? on: May 26, 2016, 03:00:52 PM
It's possible, bt don't underestimate the amount of work and money it takes to launch a new succesful exchange service.
You're going to need a secure and professional website that has been tested again all forms of attack, that alone will set you back a few 1000 dollars, if not more.
4729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For any crypto-coins to have long term future, you need an ecosystem around it on: May 26, 2016, 02:56:08 PM
Bitcoin itself still has a long way to go, I'd like to see them have as much or more merchants than Paypal for example.
Luckily there are more and more businesses willing to offer Bitcoin payments.

That said, companies are not going to start accepting altcoins over Bitcoin unless they can show greater usage statistics.
4730  Economy / Economics / Re: Europe in Crisis on: May 26, 2016, 02:52:02 PM
There are still some countries that live in the crisis and other countries are trying to help them to get out of it. I am not sure how they are going to fix this but I hope that they are not going to print more Euros because then the value will again go down.
The situation in Greece is a fine example to that. There is no way that they can fulfil the conditions for the bailout they received.
Chances that they will default on their loans are pretty high. Not sure what will happen after that.
4731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My goal to earn 1,000bitcoins within 3years on: May 26, 2016, 02:48:33 PM
I would suggest to stick with poker once you have some sort of bankroll, but even then it would still be extremely risky.
That's not to say it's impossible...

I would also be investing as much as possible in gambling sites for example.
4732  Economy / Gambling / Re: Champions League Winner on: May 26, 2016, 02:44:20 PM
I'm hoping that atletico will win, but I think it's more likely that Real will win.
I will be betting on atletico though Smiley
4733  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin projects not developed yet on: May 26, 2016, 01:17:37 PM

4734  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: SatoshiEarner - Earn BTC by downloading free Apps on: May 26, 2016, 01:14:04 PM
Those tiny rewards are just not worth it for installing possibly unsafe sotware. I would only ibstall something if I get around 0.005 or more at least. I'm sure that your affiliate earnings give you some room to make the rewards a big better...
4735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: May 26, 2016, 01:08:22 PM
If you find yourself comming back to gamble after significant losses and over short periods of time, then your starting to get addicted or you are already addicted.

For me it's usually the progressive jackpots that draw me to play again and again, even if I lose.
4736  Economy / Gambling / Re: reliable site on: May 26, 2016, 01:04:59 PM
I really prefer nitrogensports over the other crypto sportsbetting sites. You can even bet on esports and they allow you to use an anonymous account.

The design of their website is very easy to navigate as well, also on mobile devices.
4737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: losing 50 bitcoins gambling on: May 26, 2016, 01:02:24 PM
It all depends on how big your bankroll is, for me losing such a big amount would be pretty devestating.
But for high rollers it would mean nothing perhaps
4738  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you like trading or gambling? on: May 26, 2016, 12:56:45 PM
I prefer trading, but if you do not know what you're doing, then trading could easily become gambling.
I also gamble from time to time, but trading is more fun for me.
4739  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW MUCH YOU EARN/LOSE FROM TRADING on: May 26, 2016, 12:48:43 PM
I've made q nice profit from trading Dash a while back, bought at around 0.006 and sold at 0.02 btc.
In total I made around 1 Bitcoin from that trade.
4740  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Get 100$ bonus for trading after filling a short survey on: May 26, 2016, 12:45:23 PM
What are the condiions for that 100 dollar bonus?
Do you need to make a certain number of trades to be able to withdraw it or what?

I would be willing ti do this if you can answer these questions, I don't mind having a call.
