By the way, he will become a free agent after the end of this season, and it would be cool if this performance affected the Mavs' decision to sign a new contract with him.

Mavs will have to choose between him or Josh Richardson. Or even pick totally new player on SG position. If Mavs keep both, then there is no chance to get another good player next season on forward or power forward position where are the weakest.

I guess Mavs should choose the one who is performing well during this season, and IMO, Hardaway Jr. is the better one and he should stay. If they want to save on the salary cap, they probably trade KP as he is a high-value player and they can get good players in exchange for him.

In my opinion yeah you can but the whe point of trading away multiple first round picks for him isn't to just trade him away which you aren't going to get great value back.  There is injury concern for KP and no one will give mays what they gave up for him.  Their best bet is to cross fingers and hope kristaps lives up to the hype at some point
4722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for good projects on: April 28, 2021, 08:18:14 PM
Im still kind of new to the crypto market and am looking for some good crypto projects. Im looking for cheap coins with great fundamentals that can grow big.
I've heard stuff about coins like:
XRP
HBAR
ADA
DIVI

But im not sure which one to get
Looking for your opinions

If you are fairly new to crypto don't forget about bitcoin.  I mean dip your toes into alts but ypu want to make sure you aren't holding bags of dirt if everything goes upside down.  Alts fall way harder than good old orangecoin
4723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My warning for you all. Alt season will begin soon!!! ALT SEASON STARTED!!! on: April 28, 2021, 08:16:28 PM
I've told you before from this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5325183.0

Then we can see now if bitcoin dominance keep decreasing and now it's around 52% (Once it goes below 50%, alt season will begin)

I know i know, few of you must be saying like this "this is still too early to be alt season, bitcoin dominance will go up soon, alt is shit, there is no any altcoin season"

But if you see this, you will know the reason (compare the current graph to previous alt season on early 2018)

Alts have already made a run bigtime.  If anything I would think so.e profit taking and moving into bitcoin would start to happen as bitcoin hovers around this price.  Coins have 50x-100x without any real reason.  Possibly a whole market drag upwards but eventually it will happen, things will go right back to the bottom for alts.

4725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 28, 2021, 08:11:19 PM
Big game tonight for the Knicks.  They dropped a winnable game against the suns.  Randall has to have a big rebound game he looked off against the suns.  The east is tight with around 10 games to go and a long west coast road trip ahead.  They can easily slide into the 8-9-10 spot with a couple losses. 😬

They are definitely more hungrier, as their winning streak has ended. So for sure they wanted to win against a lowly Chicago Bulls. I don't think that they can slide to that position though, they have good lead at 4th spot right now in the East.

Heat vs Spurs and then Wizards vs Lakers are the most interesting match tonight, a must win situation. Wizards winning streak is also snapped, but Lakers is back with Anthony Davis on the line up already.

There is only 2 games separating 4th and 7th which is a play in game.  The Knicks end the season on a deadly west coast trip.  Lakers, clippers, suns, Memphis, etc.  Those will all be tough games.  Some of the teams behind them have softer schedules.  If I had to guess, Knicks end up in 6th.  But would be happy if they sat in the 4/5 spot of course
4726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 5 on: April 28, 2021, 08:08:26 PM
The winner of this exhibition match is not a question anymore.
This is tricky since there is a small possibility of draw. Like perhaps Floyd wants to give a friendly gesture to a non-pro fighter, a.k.a for fun.
Yeah, if no shenanigans, the champ would easily KO Logan in the first round. The question is, how serious this fight is going to be?

That's always the risk with an exbition fight, but I still think/hope that Floyd will give him a KO after a couple of rounds.
Is there really anyone that will pay to view this PPY? This is again a match that I am not really looking forward to...
Floyd Mayweather is a boring boxer. his non-entertaining fighting style is unlikely to attract much PPV. I remember his fight against Pacquiao and I promised myself it would be my last game to watch Floyd fight

Boring?  He was one of the most technical boxers to ever walk in the ring.  Professional boxers hated him so much because they couldn't compete with him.  Its boxing not backyard brawling.  MMA is for action junkies, boxing is a .uch different sport.

No chance money gives a friendly fight in this one.  Ypu think he wants a mark on his history of drawing against a non pro.  Mo chance.  Zero zip.  Will be waiting for dumb money to start throwing at Logan and sweetening the odds for Floyd.  Happened in the Connor fight I expect the same here.  Easy money
4728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 28, 2021, 04:24:09 PM
Got my rest, I wish I could come back into winning my bets and not just another addition to my losing streak.
New York Knicks versus Chicago Bulls
Knicks -3.5
After ending their 9th winning streak, they may want to win this one again. They also had their rest so they could be fresh again and play with high energy.
Over 207.5
It's the Knicks, they can score high but it will be the Bulls that may not.

Yes, I think Knicks are eager to win against and who knows, another set of winning streak before the playoffs. All the positives are pointing that they can win against the Chicago Bulls, like somewhat increases to -4.5 but they can cover it. Randle and Barett will lead this team, Bulls without Zach Lavine will have a difficult time against top tier teams like the Knicks.

I like the Knicks in this one too but good enough odds to hit the ML on this in case of a tight game.  I'm all in on the over too.  Knicks have been playing a bit more uptempo and shooting "and making" more 3s lately.  Like the over better than the spread
4729  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin do the same scenario in 2018 ? on: April 28, 2021, 04:20:08 PM
i am wondering if Bitcoin will fall again like it happened in 2018 after the Bull run !
even in this time the price raised too much faster in shorter time.
last two days Bitcoin price felt 10000 $
i know that some news affect the market, but should we sell now in this panic ! or should we hold  Undecided
i am a little bit confused

Nothing ever goes exactly what it did before.  But knowing now what bitcoin did from 2018 to now, I'm sure abunch of people wouldn't mind another discount drop on bitcoin prices.  Wink

Big game for the Knicks tonight.  Riding a 9 game win streak playing against a very tough suns game.  With the difference between the 4th and 8th spot a couple of games it would be nice if the Knicks can pull this out.  They are 2.5 point dogs at home.  What does everyone think?
4732  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go below $40,000 on: April 26, 2021, 08:07:48 PM
Looks like we are again going for a dive, look at the price now.

Today, the price is below $50,000 and it's dropping big time, my question, with this movement, will we see a bitcoin price below $40,000?

Yeah at some point I think you can see a dip in the 30s.  After almost every major spike and plateau you see a lot of profit taking which causes those pullbacks.  I don't see any change here.  We went from $3k ish last year to 60k this year.  There is a lot of people in the green right now waiting to take some of that back in.
4733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 26, 2021, 08:03:10 PM
Come playoff time all of these top teams change a bit.  Regular season and playoff intensity is so much different.  If nets are healthy I don't think they can be stopped over 7 game series at least in the east.  Bucks , sixers?? Neither of them will be able to win more than 2 games probably with a motivated Durant, kyrie and harden. Same thing with the Lakers, so long as AD and bron is healthy, they will look wildly different than in these games.
4734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 25, 2021, 12:51:30 PM
Lakers has a good lead, and just like you, I thought that they can pull the win against the Dallas. But Dallas played good defense and then pour in the points. Davis has an extended minutes but it was obvious that he still need some game or at least they need to win with Davis playing high level tennis again.
Luka Magic seems to never lose his composure.
He was at bad state at the first half but he never gave up. At the end, he was the one making all the plays (assists to Powell) to give the Mavs a huge lead and secure the win.
They are meant to be in the playoff this year with their current skills in the court as a team. only a few teams in the history of the NBA can get 9 straight wins before a few games to get to the NBA playoffs. it means that these guys are in their prime mode. It will be nice for them if they will play together with Brooklyn Nets in the NBA playoffs.
I underestimated this Knicks team when they didn't even try to get KD or Kyrie for their team. But now they are proving that they made a good decision.
They even said before the season starts that they are rebuilding and I can still remember Stephen A. Smith (Knicks fan) stating they won't even touch the playoffs.
Look at them now. Their chemistry is so high and winning every game isn't that difficult anymore.
Let's see if they can also beat the Phoenix Suns.

Whatever Stephen a Smith says typically goes wrong.  He just screams at the TV trying to make it sound like he knows what the he'll he is even talking about.  How he is on TV as a sports analyzer is beyond me.

Look prices here are always different than ali, ebay, etc.  There is a reason for that.  Properly do e here with escrow and all, you will confidently get your shipment.  If you can get them for under a hundo there than why don't you just go there.  And fwiw such moon is right no one here will sell you one for that price...right now at least.
4736  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS 5 Z11 on: April 25, 2021, 03:26:51 AM
They are hosted in China, MOQ 5.

Price, escrow, pics?

Yep echo this statement.  Without these 3 (especially the escrow piece)  you won't get any sales here.  Shipping also would be another piece of info you might want to put in here as well
4737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Full of get-rich-quick opportunities at Bitcointalk on: April 25, 2021, 01:02:29 AM
Yesterday I saw someone mention #Dogira at Bitcointalk, then I went and bought it and quickly made twice as much money!

Thanks to this platform, it's full of get-rich-quick opportunities!!! Grin

Lol yeah I a bull market thats easy to say.  Come here in 2014 or 2018 and you would think differently lol.  Sad but a lot of people are going to lose a ton of money soon on these alts.  They mostly all inevitably drop and most into non existence. Most people turn a blind eye because they want it to go on forever but those people are the ones left holding the bag
4738  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never go below $50,000 again on: April 25, 2021, 12:58:25 AM
Today is April 14th 2021, Bitcoin is trading at $62k - $64k today. It just spent basically two months building support around $50,000 in a very non-bull-run like fashion. This is because this bull run isn't gonna be a relatively short FOMO-driven huge peak and giant crash + crypto winter. We're at the beginning of a years-long super cycle that is gonna shoot Bitcoin from $10k up to well into the the hundreds of thousands over the next few years, with no crypto winters during that growth. Retail is calmer less FOMOy, institutions are coming in and by definition are more wary and less FOMOy, and with Covid + money printing the narrative around Bitcoin has finally evolved from speculative get rich scheme to store of value gold 2.0.

For these reasons, Bitcoin will never go below $50k again, even if we get a decent crash at some point like most people expect based on past market cycles (and yes I've been in crypto during the two big crypto winters), the bottom still won't go under $50k. Do you agree? Hit the poll!

Lol this post only a week or so in didn't age well.  Listen if anything has been learned in the last 10-11 years is that people can never so it won't do this or that because most likely its broken each one of those predictions.  Large spikes and large falls thats how bitcoin rolls at least for now.
4739  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price end of year? on: April 25, 2021, 12:56:14 AM
i believe even if bitcoin drops a bit in a month, bitcoin will still hit 100k by end of year! let me know what you guys think

Homestly no clue.  With the recent dip i think there is much more downward pressure if it creeps in the 60-70k range.  There will be a lot of profit taking all the way up to 100k.  Going to be difficult for some to hold on for the ride.  Can it, sure.  Do I think this year is 100k year...not yet do t think so but hey how who knows.
4740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 25, 2021, 12:53:56 AM
What a great win by the Knicks today.  They actually look dominate and just might make some waves in the playoffs.  Julius Randall is a superstar and one definitely established himself as one of the top players in the league.  Today at home they were 1 point u derdogs.  Easiet pick of the day.
