4722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Cryptocurrencies on: August 28, 2021, 06:38:11 PM
It is not about cryptocurrency that you use to bet that will determine your winnings or losses in gambling, but if you think you are not confirmable with unstable cryptocurrencies, you can go for fiat-peeged ones like USDT using the one buiild on Tron blockchain for low fee, but if you think switching from one unstable coins to another will guarantee you winning, that is not possible, also moving to stable coins will neither guarantee you winning. Nothing guarantee wining in gambling than your experiences about it and also luck, but no matter the experience, losses can also still result. Lastly, use the amount you can afford to lose.
4723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: August 28, 2021, 12:50:32 PM
Man City 3-1 Arsenal
58th minute
Manchester City 4 - 0 Arsenal

The match is at the 58th minutes now, Manchester City has store 4 goals while Arsenal has never scored 1. What is surprising me now js that Arsenal has never even scored a single goal since the start of this season, even Brentford managed to score Arsenal 2 while Arsenal was unable to score 1. I am think this game will likely ended with Asenal scored nothing, I am not sure if the game will end like that but Arsenal has one of the worst performance so far in EPL this season.
4724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google bans 8 crypto apps on: August 28, 2021, 12:43:33 PM
From what I observed from GP's policy, apps that mine should be fine but shouldn't request any sort of payment upfront. That's why some legit ones like StormGain remain.
I am not really sure about this, I think they go indept to know the sites are actually fake and scamming people will be the reason, because if they remove those that ask money upfront, CryptoTab pro would have been removed.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pro.cryptotab.android

You can check it from the playstore, you will see that money is required before you will be able to download the app, the money is requested to increase the mining reward. I have never downloaded it before and I will never download it.
4725  Economy / Services / Re: I would like to make a sports betting bot for stake.com is it possible ? on: August 28, 2021, 07:52:07 AM
Using bots in gambling sites may be possible with some gambling sites but I don’t think you can do that at stake, there have been issues of accounts closer because of users getting caught for using illegal means to win the bet and the bot can be termed as illegal activities by the stake. So many bookmakers have a system in place that detects such activities.
With what I found out, using bot on stake.com is not against their gambling rules.

Gambling bots are allowed on Stake, and I would suggest you start with Seuntjies dicebot as it is officially endorsed by Stake.

Today I want to cover the topic of "Is Using a Stake Bot Legal?" yup, many of you who play on Stake.com ask that, as with other websites where it is the benchmark for a gambling website, why? because when you use a bot all the controls in your stake game can be simpler and also faster or more efficient, therefore, once again I want to know, What do you think about bot stake, in my opinion it is very clear how easy it is during daily challenges, where our mission is to find the target set by the MOD, and there you can see how efficient it is to use bots, some bots are free and also paid, depending on what game you are playing. So are you guys interested? please comment below ❤️

^ Exactly. It is worded like Google is against crypto.

Just another common thing on the Play Store though. Remove 10, there are 100 still hiding.
This is not wrong, even CryptoTab is not hiding, we all know it is a broswer but it is also a mining app, I am still wondering why it is not removed along these fake apps, even two CryptoTab apps are listed on playstore, the pro version require people to pay before use, we all know how bitcoin can not be mined on phone.

There are till many more, Google playstore is not a place we can visit and belief all we see, many apps are fake and the intention of the developers is to scam, some will elaborate to users that they will make profit from using the app and of which it is a lie.

“ BTC went from touching $50k down to $47k, and our whole life savings have been wiped out,” he wrote.
The risk is too much.

Assuming he leverage the 2.1 btc at $50000 and go 2x, he will be able to use 4.2 btc to trade, but instead of the btc to liquidate when btc become zero price, it will liquidate when btc price is $25000.

If he went 4x, the liquidation price will be $37500.

If he trade on 8x leverage, the liquidation price will be $43700 and so on.

The higher the leverage the riskier the trade. Even normal spot trading is risky but margin trading is the riskiest. Some traders will go for 100x leverage, knowing nothing much about trading, this can result to millions of dollars to be lost in just a single hour if the market is volatile and against the trader trading direction.

The best is to hold, if the price fall, the btc will not be liquidated and the price will rise again even more than before, this will result to profit.
4728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling control on: August 27, 2021, 07:41:02 AM
There is nothing special in gambling for me, I am not depressed if I lose because I use low amount to of money/crypto to stake, I am not overexcited if I win because I use low amount of money/crypto to stake, the excitement I gained from gambling is that I am no more addicted, I can easily decide the low amount to be used to gamble and I will not gamble beyond.

It is true that newbies are one of the most vulnerable to depression, but yet not only newbie, but the most vulnerable to losses and depression are the addicts, addicts not necessarily mean they are newbies, but they are most vulnerable to losses and depression. Like we always say, gambling is never a profession, do not use it to earn, but take it for fun, either you are newbie or not.

Newbies should be monitoring their gambling budget, if getting more than the low amount they wanted to use, and if they are losing often and spending more, these are the starting signed of addiction that will not do anything good for the person than losses and depression or something worse.
4729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Best Gambling advice on: August 26, 2021, 07:13:02 PM
My mentor is myself itself, the greed, the bad decisions like chasing your losses or not leaving while winning, the money I've waste on my gambling journey, that's the best mentor I've ever received or gotten. There are too many different instances we can get an advice or a lesson, this doesn't necessarily means a person on all occasions.
You can be your own mentor, that is not bad, but what the mentor of this person who wrote the OP said is not wrong at all, he know that ipanks is not experienced enough or has just gotten into gambling, he know telling him such advice will help. Though we all have different approaches to different situation in life, what his mentor told him led him here which is the right place to get the best advice. What I just like is that he will have quality information from us, like me I have suggested him to use the amount so little in a way he can lose and never think about and that spending more than such amount is indicating that he could get addicted.
4730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google bans 8 crypto apps on: August 26, 2021, 07:03:26 PM
This is not the first time I have heard that Google banned some mining apps on playstore, they should not think twice before they ban those apps because how can bitcoin be mined on phone, it is complete no possible. While most of them are cloud mining apps which is a way to scam people.

But I am still wondering why CryptoTab has not be banned when it is among them
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pro.cryptotab.android
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=lite.cryptotab.android

All cloud mining apps are fake, they should all be banned.
4731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Best Gambling advice on: August 26, 2021, 01:12:39 PM
Gambling should be for fun, else it can lead to depression after losses, use the amount of money you can afford to lose, if you are receiving $100 monthly, only use $2 to $5 dollars for gambling, which mean you should not use more than 2% to 5% of your monthly income, you can even use less amount, if you are going beyond this amount, it means you are getting addicted and the outcomenmight not be good, most likely the outcome will be a bad one, do not be addicted.

Do not see gambling as a means to earn, it is just a means to have fun, never risk the amount of money that can put you in trouble, if I lost while gambling, I will not be sad because I use small amount of money.
4732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good ways to trade? on: August 26, 2021, 12:29:15 PM
If you want the best advise, it will be good to move this post to trading discussion. If you want to know more about trading, you will need to be very patient, start with the money you can afford to lose, trading is very risky. To know about indicators, you will need to learn about this online, the most important ones are relative strength index, bollinger bands, relative moving average, exponential moving average and also you can learn about many other oscillators like relative strength index. But the first to learn are technical and fundamental analyses, especially the technical analysis.
4733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2020 caused a spike in gambling issues on: August 26, 2021, 06:18:28 AM
What do you think would be the best option to those that are experimenting these issues right now? Should they stop watching sports forever as this is the trigger that causes them to gamble without control or should another solution be possible?
I will suggest spouse should not hide anything about his gambling life from his wife, I believe married people do not play or do not risk like people that are not married also, two heads are better than one when the other can tell the truth if seeing gambling is becoming problematic in their life.

About others, this will be difficult, someone can become addicted to gambling and hide it from his family until much more money has been lost, that is why it is really problematic, it will be good for people to always check themselves, set a budget for gambling which should not be more than 2 to 5% of their earning, knowing that anything more is an addiction.

People should not see gambling as a way to earn, this is the beginning of addiction that it its end will be so detrimental.
4734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any Idea on how to detect any phishing airdrops trying to steal tokens on: August 26, 2021, 05:54:22 AM
I have some good suggestions about how what can help

1. Checking the coins if listed on coingecko, this is very important
2. Make use of new wallet that is not funded for new airdrop
3. Not even thinking of collecting airdrop because some may only need information from individual in form of KYC

There are different types of scam airdrop can result to, it can be a direct hack of you wallet, I t can also be the one that will lead to phishing email.
4735  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] My DeFi Pet Site Phishing - Beware!! on: August 26, 2021, 05:43:07 AM
so here I found a phishing site that tries to give 15 DPET even though it is a lie and when clicked leads to enter Phrase/ Seed so you have to be more observant in this regard.
Any site that ask someone to enter seed phrase is a site that want to scam, even there is a warning while generating a wallet that the seed phrase generated should not be revealed to anyone and should not be entered on any site, I still wonder how people will read this but yet still make such silly mistake, seed phrase only remain to wallet while the addresses are what that can be given out. If I saw that, it would have been a good reason of easily knowing that the site belong to scammers, that they are only looking for who to scam. Nice work $crypto$.
4736  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ICO's and the taxation. on: August 25, 2021, 04:02:17 PM
If you are not selling a coin, there should not be any tax to be paid, if tax is to be paid, it should be from the profit you make from the coin. This is just a scam if they are demanding money from you to be paid for tax. I do not think there should be tax paid also for ICO earning, even if, it will depend on the country you are from, if your country is not demanding for crypto taxes, you should also know from there that it is nothing but a scam.
4737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I wrong? on: August 25, 2021, 03:49:23 PM
The more cryptocurrencies are getting successful, there will be more created coins, these coins will be more likely to dump with just little price decrease of strong cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, which means there will always be shitcoins. You can go for strong cryptocurrencies with huge marketcap like bitcoin, such coins do not dump like shitcoins.

but if crypto eventually achieve its dream of means of payment there will be more stability in crypto market, am I wrong?
Which dream again after many cryptocurrencies are successful already and getting more successful as people are demanding for it and using it, but the future is bright.
4738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sport booking odds discussion on: August 25, 2021, 07:40:55 AM
I have used up to five betting sites now but I am closer to football gambling, I do not know about others like casinos, what I have noticed is that the odds from one gambling site to another are almost the same with just little differences, that makes me not to be bothered about the betting odds again. I have come to realised that what is most important is the service referred by the betting sites, if a gambling site has a very good odd but no good service, I can not use sucy sites, yet I have noticed the odds from the reputable sites I am using are almost the same, I am not bothered about the odds at all. But if you think this thread can be for match prediction, it will be good, we will be able to check what people are predicting about the upcoming matches which can make some people to decide what to choose but though not still guarantee that the team chosen to win will win the match.
4739  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is your first choice of a bitcoin wallet? on: August 25, 2021, 07:27:57 AM
After know airdrop and bounty, i create others wallet like MyEtherWallet and etc. Now move them to my phone in Trust Wallet and next i will buy hardware wallet Safepal S1 Wallet.
MyEtherWallet is not a Bitcoin wallet, it is an ethereum wallet that also support ethereum tokens. Do you know that trust wallet is not an open source wallet, this is one of the major reasons I can not use it, close source wallets are not good to be used. The best wallets I have used before is electrum wallet but I am planing to still buy hardware wallet, I will prefer to buy trezor because it is open source and more tested than any other open source hardware wallets.
4740  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning] Fake Realmadrid fan token sale website... on: August 25, 2021, 07:04:38 AM
This is actually a very bad aspect of Facebook, they approve the advertisements of fake, phishing websites for money. Even Facebook sometimes approves of their own project libra's fake website ads!
One of the easiest means someone can be gotten scammed is to make use of what people do make use of very well and often, like YouTube, Facebook, and Google, the reason why these platforms are the places to scam is because ads are often placed on the sites, they do not go extra mile to know if the company or person advertising is a scammer or not, they only just want money, that is why we need to be very careful of these online places, they are the easiest ways someone can see fake ads from scammers and be scammed and nothing will be done as compensation, the person will only just lose.
