But for now he might be focused on only recovering from his existing injury before contract talks. I don't think that Milan also would like to sign him while he is injured. Even if he comes in the middle of the season it would still be nice to see. I think that the automatic renewal of Neymar's contract doesn't change anything as it doesn't pose an hindrance for him to be sold still. There is some news about a possible transfer for Serge Gnabry now. Arsenal and Manchester United are said to have been interested in signing him these days. The deal is very likely to be for 40 million pounds as it seems. Gnabry still has one more year left on his contract now but he is one of the likely players to leave Bayern Munich this summer. I think that there is no problem about Luka Jovic's departure to join Fiorentina on loan right now. They loaned him to Frankfurt in the 20/21 season and they can do this again. I think Atletico Madrid has many talented/skilled attackers who have a lot of experience. If they didn't really productive in the last season, it may be caused by the wrong strategy or tactics. Simeone needs to choose the right strategy or tactics that can fit with Atletico players, especially for those attackers. And Simeone must improve the players' mentality and motivation, so they can play more aggressively on the field. Morata, Griezmann, Cunha, and other attackers are enough, they don't need new attackers.
Simeone wouldn't change his strategies that easy. He has been using the similar structure for the team since he became their manager.
