While we wait for the World Cup qualifying games to resume there are demonstration taking place in many Japanese cities including Tokyo asking for the Olympic games to be cancelled. The IOC has a lot at stake here in a financial sense but I would not surprised if the games were cancelled. The Japanese people simply do not want the games to go ahead because they fear it will bring new variants of COVID-19 to their country. Opposition to hosting the Olympic games in Japan seems to be increasing. -snip-
Olympic games aren't welcome by many Japanese due to pandemic but today they announced the first covid case in the games village without identifying him/her. There is also one Czech staff member tested positive and 14 linked to the games. Until now they will be able to control the anger of the public but if more cases appear then... sourceBack to WC qualifying games, hopefully we will not see other variants emerging for real because enough is enough with "locked life features" in those years!

Since the vote is on, I voted for Man City again to win the title. Comparing to other teams like ManU and Chelsea in particular, City didn't make important changes yet, there is effort to get forward player(s) but few informations are available right now. Well it will be an intense season this year isn't it

Transfer rumours: Tottenham striker Harry Kane, 27, and Aston Villa forward Jack Grealish, 25, remain Manchester City's top summer targets and the Premier League champions are determined to sign both England internationals. What will really come of it in the end and whether Kane will really leave Tottenham in the end? Real Madrid will have to "put up with" Wales forward Gareth Bale for another season as they have not received any offers for the 32-year-old who spent last season on loan at Tottenham. No offers for Bale, what a surprise? Real just can’t get rid of Bale no matter how hard they try. Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo, 36, who has been linked with a return to Manchester United and a move to Paris St-Germain, is set to remain at Juventus with talk of a potential new one-year deal which could include a pay cut. Does that mean Ronaldo has decided to end his career at Juve? Atletico remains frontrunners to sign Griezmann, but Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool have been made aware that he has been made available for a "low fee". At least two Premier League clubs have spoken to his agent in the past month. Which will eventually happen to Griezmann? Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/57866158For City, Grealish might be a good option since signing Kane doesn't seem feasible. For CR7, he already mentioned that he wants to stay in Juve. I assume he didn't find a suitable deal otherwise he left. For Griezmann I don't mind seeing him in ATM again and surely to see him scoring and winning vs Barca and winning La Liga again, just like Suarez obviously Barca is aware of that and as much as they want money as much they want a swap deal with ATM. It is complicated there.

Signature campaign name: Xive.io Overview topic link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.msg57480573#msg57480573Signature campaign link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5349727Problem (title): "Cloud" mining service detected! Problem (discussion): Well I don't know if you have the same itching that I have when I see some cloud mining service popping up. I don't have a problem with the campaign itself since it is managed by yahoo which is a reputable member but with the lack of information I got trying to figure out details and reviews about the service. I didn't find also a topic here about it, if anyone could find it, you can share it with us. Basically you can buy a contract from many options provided, cheaper ones for less than 7 days are sold out and the others start from +$400 for 1-2 years.. Site created 3 years ago? Service is in Kazakhstan? Should it be trusted? Should members here support a cloud mining service and wear its signature? I am raising a red flag until I have a clearer vision of the situation..

Xherdan Shaqiri bid submitted Lazio have reportedly made an offer to sign Liverpool forward Xherdan Shaqiri.
Shaqiri is a good player with many qualities, hope he can prove himself correctly in Lazio like he did with his national team in EURO. Now for Liverpool, there isn't much information about their transfer plan. They signed Konate from Leipzig and lost freely Wijnaldum. Otherwise, rumors about Sarr from Watford? Origi for Saul Niguez (ATM)?

Japan, Australia, Saudi Arabia and South Korea, are Asian clubs that very often qualify for the World Cup, I think, these 4 clubs will undoubtedly represent Asia again. Japan, Australia and South Korea if they qualify for the group stage, I'm sure one or more of them will be able to reach the round of 16. Qatar and Saudi Arabia have a similar climate, maybe they can qualify from the group stage, but we also need to look at their opponents. However, the natural conditions in Qatar are also likely to have a major influence on players, just like when South Africa hosted the World Cup.
Iran and Iraq could get a chance too to qualify, those teams fluctuate too much and you never know, besides, they are used to the same or worst climate than Qatar. In fact, temperatures in Qatar in November is around 25°C = 77°F, way hotter +5-7°C comparing to South Africa. It will be an unpleasant experience for many countries. I read about a cooling system for stadium but outside will be another thing.

I do not think that De Paul went for cheap, those type of clubs can't request like 100 million type of prices, that is just not possible for Udinese. At the end of the day there is just facts of life that smaller clubs can't request a lot of money. However De Paul wouldn't have worth THAT much higher neither, he worths around 50-60 even at the best of clubs, and that is why I do not think that this was as cheap as you make it out to be.
Besides the Covid pandemic situation, 35 for De Paul is a very cheap price, almost strange for a player of his quality. Maybe Atletico and Undidese will do more operations in this session. I think De Paul without Covid was easily a 50m € player. I am not an expert on estimating market value of each player but according to transfer market https://www.transfermarkt.us/rodrigo-de-paul/marktwertverlauf/spieler/255901]site he never passed ~€40m. I agree that pandemic might affected this but I find the price good considering the current crisis and it is win win deal. ATM winning a good player and Udinese having enough money to build the team.

The 2022 World Cup will be held in Qatar in less than a year ...
That's wrong! The next World Cup will be held in Qatar in the winter of 2022, in December 2022 to be precise, so there is still a good year and a half to go before the World Cup and no less than a year. That would then also not work out in terms of scheduling, since the qualifying matches for the World Cup have only recently begun in many continents. Whether boys posting before you tyz didn't pay attention to this detail or few are aware of the modification made for the schedule of World Cup 2022. Qatar and golf region in general = hell in summer but as hot in winter as Europe in the summer. So it will not be a pleasant experience for Europeans unlike Africans and South Americans. What's your best Goal from the Euros 2020/2021?? Have got two in mind at the moment. Firstly from the French Man Paul Pogba against Switzerland. Secondly from the the Denmark team Mikkel Damsgaard beautiful free kick against England.
Ouep, I already selected 3 goals including this two

According to Transfermarkt, there is a 68% probability for Varane to be signed by Manchester Utd. Real Madrid should reach an agreement with them if they are not able to extend his contract. Otherwise, he's going to be free agent in one year and Real Madrid will be in a big loss. But it looks like Varane really wants to go to Manchester Utd now so I believe this deal will be done soon. ManU got Real Madrid permission lately to negotiate with Varane. The player himself is desperate to leave los blancos which risks to see him leaving next season for free. 60m or 0m after 1 year? I think it is a matter of time only. I read also that Chelsea is interested on him but I don't think he is willing to go there, at least I didn't read anything about Chelsea previously.

https://i.imgur.com/kbM154s.jpgLink : https://twitter.com/ESPNFC/status/1415325223168184324This is hilarious and funny Mourinho endorsing the tactical foul on Saka by Chielliini in the EURO final match Chielliini used his wealth of experience to commit the foul when he missed the ball he didn't want to miss Saka, inexperience players would have escorted the pacy Saka till he enters the penalty area before committing the foul, the special one is fond of appreciating this kind of fouls I remembered when he was Inter Milan manager he encourages his defenders ruggedness towards their opponents and always adopt defensive style of play. Chiellini fault was a clever move from an experienced player and every professional coach / players know that. Rather getting a yellow card and prevent a risky attack than crying later. Some players don't mind risking a red card and give their opponent a penalty than letting them score. Just remember what Suarez did in 2010 World Cup, got a red, gave Ghana a penalty which was missed and he was the hero of the nation that night

Barcelona close to announcing Messi contract extension - report -snip-
After the last incident was resolved between Messi and the administration, we are pretty sure that Messi will continue his career in Barca before retiring somewhere else. To resume, the problem is not to renew the contract of Messi or not but how to do it with less damage to the team, ie get ride of some players including Griezmann while recruiting others. Edit: here is the link about the 5 year contract and the negotiations about swapping Griezmann with Saul Niguez (ATM). https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/jul/14/lionel-messi-agrees-new-five-year-contract-to-stay-with-barcelona

I don't see anything wrong with the fact that the weaker teams would compete at the qualifying stages and show everything they are capable of, and only the really strong would go to the final stage of the tournament. You have to agree that it is very illogical when in the final stage of the tournament there are several teams that are clearly much weaker than those teams that are not allowed in this round simply by quotas. Doesn't this violate sporting principles? I don't see anything wrong also but FIFA would give a chance to weaker teams to show their performance vs top teams. There was surprises sometimes. Imagine seeing Nation "where does it exist in this planet?" reaching advanced stage and the feeling of its people. I know it is unpleasant for most of us who want to see top teams fighting in late stages and not from the beginning. That's why many fans like way more EURO than World Cup

Just for fun: that moment when you have no clue about the teams playing Champions League qualifications and you bet on the winner by having a badge or not in Google/Sports table Seriously, yesterday's odds are attractive and today aren't bad also, Baku @1.9, BTTS over 2 and Warszawa @1.6, BTTS @1.5, but honestly without watching the first leg at least it isn't clever to place bets randomly

Nah Brazil is better than Argentina, that defeat in the final game doesn't mean Argentina is the best team there. Argentina got hard moments advancing to the final game against way weaker team. In fact, current Argentina will not get a chance against any top European team. At the opposite Brazil will be hard to defeat by most. I would say Italy and France would be the ones that can compete Brazil.
I agree. And it's a pity that the bastard corrupt officials from FIFA turned the World Cup into something incomprehensible. I understand that teams like Saudi Arabia or Australia and their fans are pleased with the presence at the World Championships, but this lowers the average strength of this championship, plus many strong national teams (especially from Europe) do not get there. In ideal conditions, we would see tough competition between these strongest teams, but in fact we see a miserable tournament at the group stage + some really interesting playoff matches. Haha, you know if that applies, World Cup will become Europe + South America Cup If we consider Western/Central European teams and Brazil as level 5, Argentina as level 4 then almost all Asian, African and oceanic teams are level 2 max! except Australia, South Korea/Japan, Algeria, Nigeria/Ivory cost/Cameroon and few other teams that can be considered level 3. The gap is too big, that's why World Cup is a bit annoying at the beginning although we might witness some surprises then things get intense later

In fact we are talking about a new Xapo service, it is now a digital bank (based on Gibraltar), like Neteller for example. It offers a bank account, a vault and a debit card for $150 annual fees. Pro: card is available worldwide apparently with almost no fees. Con: $150/year, no virtual card? I don't count to join them with such rate..
Do you happen to know which type of card they offer? Also where did you read about the countries? I can't find a list. I can only see that they offer bank transfers in over 130 countries. It appears to be Mastercard according to the image in the main page over "More than just a debit card". Well for countries, they didn't precise anything other than this Xapo is prohibited from transacting with individuals, companies and countries that are on prescribed sanctions lists. Xapo will therefore screen against United Nations, European Union, UK Treasury and US Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions lists in all jurisdictions in which we operate and this Xapo is headquartered in Gibraltar. However, due to the nature of our global offering, we have operations throughout the world, including but not limited to, North America, South America and Asia. We transfer your data to countries outside the European Economic Area (“third countries”) to the extent that is necessary in order to perform our services requested by you. Bouncing more and more rumors from Twitter: Mbappè wants to leave PSG and he wants to join only real Madrid.
Will it be the saga of this summer?
PSG don't need money and even if Real Madrid will offer big (impossible) 500m they will refuse.
Unless PSG can "buy" Champions League title, it will not let Mbappe get out for any number this season.
according to the polish football portal gol24, Robert Lewandowski is said to be very interested in playing for real madrid in the new season... allegedly bayern munich has also already found a successor for RL "Lewandowski is waiting for Madrid". - reports "AS". A few days ago, the Spanish daily reported that the captain of the Polish national team is within the reach of Real. "He still dreams of putting on the jersey of the Kings, even in the last years of his career. He is 32 years old, but he is perfectly physically fit and has an impeccable diet. He is playing better than ever. Last season he was the top scorer on the continent with 48 goals in 40 games. The year before, he scored 55 goals in 47 games" - Journalists complimented the striker. https://gol24.pl/robert-lewandowski-w-realu-madryt-hiszpanskie-media-twierdza-ze-bayern-znalazl-juz-jego-nastepce/ar/c2-15708434Benzema + Lewandowski playing together? This will require a new tactic but might be a good combination

brazil is the strongest team in the world, currently I think it is the number 1 overall
Why is Brazil the strongest? He hasn't won tests for years. It ended up losing to Argentina. Being number 2 in the ranking does not mean that it is the best. The current Brazil, I think it lost to any great European national team. Nah Brazil is better than Argentina, that defeat in the final game doesn't mean Argentina is the best team there. Argentina got hard moments advancing to the final game against way weaker team. In fact, current Argentina will not get a chance against any top European team. Those goals are great without exception but I find Pogba's one to be the best, followed by Damsgaard and Patrick Schick, so I voted for them. BTW "Goal of the tournament" blue box popping just few seconds before goals is really annoying!

UEFA can't do anything officially but under the table it could and it will not forget this easily. Those (remaining) teams will get severe sanctions for any stupid mistake and UEFA will try to figure out a way to tackle this project. Borac Banja Luka-Cluj Hibernians-Flora Tallinn Prishtina-Ferencvaros Valur Reykjavik-Dinamo Zagreb Buducnost Podgorica-HJK
4/5 is quite good
