4721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gone are the days where projects team ask for opinions from investors on: February 14, 2020, 12:01:55 PM

Now new project teams always think they are the wisest, and the fact is some team are just claiming the name 'TEAM' for nothing sake, they know nothing about crypto exchanges like we do because we use this exchanges to trade time to trade, imagine warning projects about crap exchanges like p2pb2b but they failed to listen just because Coinmarketcap listed and ranked p2pb2b as top exchange they neglect advice and later they  regret..
If you would noticed eversince IEO started the voices of investors are put through action. No need for team members to listen to them as most investors only concern about the listing and the profits they are ripping off on this new projects.

I think the team should start listening to the bounty hunter when they are going to register the token, so that the token does not happen which ultimately has no value.
Its not that they dont listen plus what benefits they can get on suggestion of the hunters? They would not pay the exchange listing so why bother? Most projects just using hunters as a tool for their marketing purposes nothing more. That's a fact in cryptoindustry.

I believe that there’re two kinds of project in the market one that analyses what investors want and they take some basic feedback from them, and the other one is like how you have described out here they basically ignore investors feedback and these ones are mostly unsuccessful in the long run.

@minairia3 it’s a wrong mentality if the team decides there’s no need for investors feedback after all they’re only being able to execute their plans because of the investors money, hence I feel that they should at least listen to their investors feedback and implement it wherever possible.
4722  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Hits Fresh Yearly Highs, Profit Taking Push the Price Below $10000 on: February 14, 2020, 09:38:19 AM
Will go maybe more down to 9700 usd again
I think bitcoin actually did get as low as that after you wrote your post a couple days ago, but I'll be damned if it didn't rebound as quick as a bunny back to above $10k (barely).

this jump back is exactly why i believe the recent drop had very little to do with "profit taking" and was mostly manipulation at its strength trying to push the price down. considering how many FUDs i read in the past week i think it is a safe assumption.

@ppoya87 you’re one of those rare people who’s going against the popular opinion as many believe that bitcoin prices tanked because people sold it for profits, and your logic does sound interesting because FUD news are indeed making a comeback in the crypto market. However I’m keen to know which FUD news according to you had a major impact on bitcoin prices, also do you believe that bitcoin prices can cross $11k once the FUD news impact starts to fade away?.

Oh.. not again. We had hundreds of posts here discussing a resumption of cricketing ties between India and Pakistan. But we needs to be realistic. To be honest, I don't think that a bilateral series between these two nations will happen during the next 10-15 years. As of now, these two teams are facing each other in the ICC tournaments and I guess we should be happy with these matches.
I made the comment again simply because i am not aware what is going on between both these two nations behind the scene with other sports and recently i saw a comment that other than cricket the rest of the sports both Pakistan and India does not have a problem playing and with that new revelation i made that comment and if the ICC intervene like they did with Zimbabwe when they sanctioned them because of political intervention then i am sure we will have a solution.

Your point is very good and you can understand this all what happening here other sports are not profitable like Cricket in this region and most of other sports have not big influence India have in Cricket so they are all going ok but in cricket there is too much influence so they don't want to give any good and positive way to Pakistan for benefit but now these all things are like crap so better please stop and enjoy game and other things which are better then this topic.

The ICC will never intervene as they stand to earn more from one off India vs Pakistan matches, and if matches continuously happened then the hype surrounding these two nations matches would fade away and their revenues too could be effected. However let’s hope in the upcoming T20 World Cup these two nations face each other again, because if they do then we all can win big money thanks to India’s unbeaten record against Pakistan in World Cup matches.

Inter - Napoli
https://i.imgur.com/MTogDKC.png
if I had waited the first 30 minutes of the game to place a bet, I certainly wouldn't bet on the inter and that game. <...>
Considering that Inter Milan were playing at home with a strong squad, and Napoli lost to Lecce 2-3 last weekend, I think going with Inter to WIN last night was the right call. I also lost my acca but what can you do?  Cheesy
Second leg is going to be really good. Too bad we have to wait 3 weeks for it.

Tonight: AC Milan - Juventus. BTTS @1.70 would've been my pick for this game. Does anyone know if CR7 and Ibra will play tonight?

I don’t think anyone could have seen this coming as Inter Milan have a very strong squad now, and I too was expecting them to win this match but maybe it seems they were over confident and they paid the price for it.

Another draw from juventus after a poor performance at the weekend.
I didn't watch the match and juventus didnt score 0.5 each half lol.

Sarri switched higuain for dybala to lead the line, it looks like the pressure is getting to him
If the poor performance continues, do you think sarri would remain at juventus till end of season

Usually, Juventus is not a team that sacks before the end of the season.

Rare times happened and it will case will happen only for a disaster like out of Champions with Lione (if they play like this is porabable) out from Coppa Italia and out from the run for the Serie A.

In June it will be a different thing.

oh and if we are speaking about uncalled fouls here Ibra got elbowed on his head by Cuadardo if I'm not mistaken .

This is a red car without any doubt, elbow on the face far away from the ball for no reason.

Also this one, another elow on the face for no reason but the one from kessie was worse.

Though this match ended in a draw, but i feel it’ll give lots of hope to Ac Milan that they can definitely defeat Juventus in the second round and I have to admit with all those red cards shown, and the penalties awarded this was an epic match to watch. Furthermore I don’t think Sarri will get the sack so soon, due to the unavailability of any good coach hence Juventus will be forced to wait till the end of the season before they decide to sack him.

But I doubt that these players can help Barca much.
Yeah, it's not like the lack of goals is the main problem...Barcelona are simply a one-man team, that's the real issue.

^  I heard...  Is he really good?  I don't really follow Dutch football.
Ziyech? You haven't seen him in the Champions League? He's like Mahrez 2.0, left footed, extremelly skilled, great ball control, passing...40M is a bargain, Chelsea are signing a top-class player.

Potential target for Liverpool, Timo Werner.  If LFC acquires that guy then Mane - Werner - Salah would be one of the best (or could even be the best) front three in Europe.
Can you imagine the counter attacks? The three of them could very well run the 100 meters in less than 10 secs  Cheesy

@tomahawk9 I’ll agree with your analysis about Ziyech as he’s a top class player, and I’m completely shocked as to how did Chelsea get him for such a bargain price. Also I’m sincerely hoping that Liverpool do not get their target, because they’re unstoppable at this moment and if they get Werner then they’ll become completely invincible. According to various news reports Jack Grealish is keen to seal his transfer to Manchester United, and this is exciting news for Manchester United fans.

4726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 13, 2020, 01:36:39 PM
Technically India is on the upper edge in test matches as compared to newzealand. India played it's last test match in Nov of 2019 against  Bangladesh. Virat Kohli is the most successful test captain in India's cricket history and India is the highest ranking team in ICC test championship. But, you never know as anything can happen in  Cricket.

New Zealand has nothing to lose. India is currently the number 1 test side and odds are heavily stacked against New Zealand. On top of that, many of their star players are not playing due to injury. But as we have seen during the ODI series, overconfidence from the part of the Indians can prove to be their disadvantage. And some of the newcomers are performing well for New Zealand, such as Kyle Jamieson.

Absolutely correct over confidence and substandard bowling were the main reason for India's humiliating defeat in the ODI. I am sure by now they know what went wrong and what they need to do for their test series. There will be too much pressure on Indian team to perform well in the up coming test series.

India vs New Zealand test match series won’t be a one sided contest as New Zealand has shown during the ODI series that they won’t be pushed around by team India, and hence I believe that they’ll make it very difficult for team India to win this series. Furthermore team India will be out for revenge as they have suffered a humiliating white wash in the ODI series, and therefore it’ll be interesting to see what kind of tactics will they deploy to beat New Zealand in their home.
4727  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Dems have to unite behind a moderate quickly, or it will be the party of BERNIE on: February 13, 2020, 09:15:44 AM
I think we've all seen the headlines in the last couple days, but I just want to vocalize it all to ya so I can see if my line of thinking is right here. Bernie is currently the front-runner for the Democrat party, he leads in the last couple polls and I think that he's going to have the momentum going into the next couple races and (in my mind) he has the most energized of supporters which is vital to winning a primary.

Currently, 538 has the following polls out

Bernies is at 36 percent to win more then half of the delegates, and has a 52 percent chance of winning the most delegates.

No one polls at 36 percent (for half the delegates) - meaning that there would be a brokered convention in this situation.

Biden is at 17 percent to win more then half, and has a 25 percent chance of winning the most delegates.

I'll cut out the last two portions for the next two.

Buttigeg - 5 percent to win more then half
Bloomberg - 4 percent to win more then half.

If Bernie and the Berniebros can keep up their steam and he keeps the momentum rolling, Bernie is going to win the nomination (I know I said this wouldn't happen Flying Hellfish, but it probably will now) and if he doesn't have the delegates to win the nomination, and they pick someoneelse the Bernie supporters are going to (and they should) march on Washington.

This is going to get very fun, very soon.

@squatz1 I feel that Bernie has a high chance of winning because he has outwitted all other Democratic candidates, and on top of that he’s even trending on Reddit front page which only shows how popular he has become. I’ll be honest as I was expecting Bloomberg to be leading with all the money behind him, but then again I don’t expect the Democrats too choose someone else if Bernie wins it, because that move will completely destroy their party and Bernie supporters will vote for Trump causing further embarrassment to the Democratic party.

...and England lost! Amazing, amazing bowling by Lungi Ngidi in the last over. At one point, it felt like the English team will be easily able to win this one, but amazing comeback by South African bowlers in the last quarter of the game.

A couple of good overs and the ability to put pressure on the England batsman and pick the wickets made the difference, i expected England to win the match When Jason Roy was on the crease and the collapse was incredible as the odds for South Africa to win was really high and even though Dale Steyn made his presence felt by his performance i did not anticipate Lungi Ngidi to bowl a dream last over when the match is on the line.

It was a very close match. I thought it will go to super over but great balling and fielding by the South African team. Initially I felt that England will win the match, when Jason Roy was batting but, great balling by Lungi 3 wickets just for 30.

I missed seeing this match live yesterday so I decided to watch the highlights, and I was absolutely stunned to see how South Africa’s players remained calm and managed to win under the circumstances. It’s pertinent to note that England player’s choked themselves when they lost 6 wickets for just 24 runs, and that’s where South Africa’s players realised that they could yet win this game. Also Lungi Ngidi bowling was top class, and if he can consistently give such performances then we have a new contender for winning the upcoming T20 World Cup.

4729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 13, 2020, 03:17:11 AM
I think the current performances don't really guarantee the result. Let's see how consistent Bayern Munich and Leipzig! In the near future, they may have a problem and not focus, such as several major players get injured. So, who knows about it! Everything is still unpredictable for me.

I guess we can for sure calculate with Bayern Munich and Leipzig at the front !
From the other 2 Teams , specaly Dortmund i cant say if they can keep it to the end.
Hope they do and also Gladbach so we can see a excited fight about the win of the league.

If I remember correctly then Dortmund was on the top position last year and many of us had thought that they would win the title, but in the second half of the season they began to choke and ultimately lost the title to Bayern who won it due to their consistent performances. However this season Leipzig are putting lots of pressure on Bayern, and now they’re only separated by a point and as I have said it before I’ll say it again I’m personally wishing that a new team wins the German League title this year.
4730  Economy / Economics / Re: How a Global Epidemic is helping counties see the bigger picture on: February 12, 2020, 07:44:41 AM
You know Corona Virus is something that is showing motality rate even more than the SARS.
But in between all this economic, social , political crisis one can notice how it's integrating Nations together.
US is pledging to donate millions to fight this and more than 21 countries are sending medical supplies to China.
Even Indian President came out to Help China and they even are talking about rescuing the Pakistani Students from Wuhan .
This is really great , yes I know it sounds lame but countries are discarding their boundaries and working together , this is the system of government we should have .
This is precisely how the economic stability will be achieved.
I think this is the only good thing the Virus is doing.
What do you guys think ? Is this something that might show us the path of global Peace ? .

There’s no doubt that many countries are supporting China because of this disaster, but once the virus settles down they’ll seek answers from China and will even corner them globally as many countries are suffering trade losses due to coronavirus. Further there won’t be any war but there won’t be any peace either, and it’s only a matter of time before Trump tears in to China for the mess that they have created.
4731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not we donate some Bitcoin for corona virus? on: February 12, 2020, 03:08:13 AM
The outbreak isn't happening is some poor African country, Chinese hospitals can take care of their patients, there's no need to make any donations.
What's more needed is more stock of N95 respirator masks in poorer countries that are somewhat affected by nCoV like the Philippines.
Indeed, due to the demand for N95 mask, stores are running out of stock and its hard to get one because other sellers that has stocks are taking advantage the situation and selling their product with much higher price that ordinary people cant afford.

When it comes to donating our bitcoin I dont think its necessary because the government particularly China is capable to sustain the needed medicines, facilities for those affected of this virus. I think what we can do is to pray for this virus to stop spreading and the victims to be cured.

I don’t think donating bitcoins at this stage will help instead people should come together and send shipments of the N95 masks, and cartoons filled with sanitisers as these two things can effectively counter the spread of the virus out there. Also as far as I know Apple manufacturer Foxconn is producing masks in China to help the people out there, and hence I would once repeat that they need urgently need masks and sanitisers and not our money.

4732  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥BITSLER > $20,000 Wagering contest + $5,000 Free challenges + Cashback/Chests on: February 11, 2020, 04:59:01 PM
I can understand people accusing bitsler with fraud or fake marketing and so forth, the problem is not the accusation in my mind, the problem is the lack of proof that could provide evidence for such claims. Not like we have not faced websites who looked alright but then turned fake and scammy in the end, that always happens and I am not a team member of bitsler so I wouldn't know, maybe they turned shady, however for me to believe a person saying they in fact did turned shady, I would have to see some sort of evidence and if that evidence can't be extracted then I am afraid I can't be just persuaded into thinking they are shady just by the words of one common account here that said so, I can't be pressured into thinking because of just one claim without seeing the full evidence.

I spent some time watching the blast game where the betting was between 1$ and 3$ and also watching bets on dice. In my analysis its impossible for bitsler to pay out 500,000$ in a day or 1,000,000$ in one month to wins at these rates. Are the winners employees, has anyone seen a twitter or user posting thier massive wins? Are the winners just employees of bitsler like the "Beast" lambo giveaway on youtube where the guy who won a lambo works for the guy (beast) who gave it away. IMO the massive bitsler wins are not possible, and appear to be fraud. Maybe its legit, from what I have seen it is not. DYOR
Why do you think it's impossible for them? How much time did you spent in analyzing? Do you know their real average statistics? Do you know the days/times when the most number of bitsler users gamble? I hugely doubt you know.
Website has highrollers along average gamblers, some of them win and some of them lose. The fact that one user won a lot doesn't mean that it wasn't balanced by someone's lose. Yeah, people lose but we don't celebrate loses, we celebrate wins, yeah? And every casino collects some funds from their profit to be ready for such accidents, they don't take all of their profit in pockets. What happened on Bitsler is 100% normal and Bitsler is very popular casino too.
I can give you an example of user who list some bitcoins in seconds on bitsler:

And casino owners already show you those who won a lot.

I don’t think Bitsler is a scam casino or does shady things to con it’s players, and if anyone here has any concrete proof then they need to post it in scam accusation board. @sheild123 exactly no one knows how much they earn or how much are their expenses, and this scam accusations have no merits unless members who have accused Bitsler can back it up with proofs of actual scam that has happened out there.
4733  Other / Politics & Society / Trump Trolling the Democratic candidates is really funny to read. on: February 11, 2020, 12:59:06 PM
Trump who is no longer is caged by the impeachment threat has decided to mercilessly troll the democratic candidates, and the way he’s going about trolling those candidates is super funny. In fact he’s even urging his supporters to go out and vote for the weakest Democratic candidates in New Hampshire, and he even trolled Biden by asking reporters how’s Biden doing in the polls and expressed his sadness as Biden is not performing well in the polls. Which one of his trolling is your favourite, and do you expect his trolling to become more intense as the election race heats up?

4734  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tone Vays Stands by $4K Bitcoin Price Pre-Halving Prediction on: February 11, 2020, 10:05:22 AM
Man, that would suck if bitcoin dropped to anywhere in the $4k range this year, either before or after the halving.  But despite this guy's prediction (which is crazy bearish in a market that seems to be bullish), I don't think it's going to happen.

True, bitcoin did drop back below $10k in the past day but that was probably people taking their profits off the table, which is to be expected.  To drop 50% would take some seriously pessimistic views on bitcoin on the part of a lot of investors, and I don't see that becoming the case this year.  It certainly doesn't seem to be the mood of the market right now.

This seems to be one of those public prognostications which are made to keep someone's name in the news.  Whoever Tone Vays is, he might really believe bitcoin is going down to $4k, but if that's the case I think he's a bit delusional.

@The Pharmacist this guy is like the shepherd who kept shouting wolf is coming (when there was no wolf) just to be in the limelight, and he’s not done it for the first time as a quick google search about him will reveal that he’s given different bearish statements hoping to get it right. There’s in fact a tweet also which says that whenever he predicts something the opposite of that only happens, hence I’m sure his predictions won’t come true and we should not bother about him or his predictions.

4735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: February 11, 2020, 05:07:11 AM
Damn, looks like Casimero is really in shape for this fight. He is always in shape on every fight, but this sure is very different because there is so much at stake. And with Manny Pacquiao behind him, I'm sure he is going to put everything on line and don't want to disappoint his boss.

I do hope that he can upset the Monster here and bring back the crown to the Filipinos once again.

His physique doesn't look any different from previous fights IMO.

He's still the smaller fighter, lower reach, less experienced and older. It's over for him, even with Pacquiao in his corner.

I'm going to place a bet for a round 8-12 KO by Inoue.

You have the right to place your bet on Inoue, after all he is the favorite here.

But saying that Casimero is less experienced? Are you sure of that? LOL. He had defeated champions from their own turf and even involved in a melee in Mexico as far as I can remember.

He is small, no question about that, but he is one of the most explosive fighter and he is really going tooth and nail here, not because he wanted to avenge Nonito, but he has all the leverage and tools and the heart to win against Inoue.

@BALIK , I knew many would disagree with you calling Casimero less experience, well that is your opinion but that is not based on facts.

you can check the comparison here https://boxstat.co/bout/2920779/john-riel-casimero-vs-naoya-inoue

Casimero had 29 fights compared to Inoue with 19 and yet you called it less experienced. come on....

@freedomgo of course all would disagree with him calling Casimero less experienced, because it clearly shows that he’s not following this sport, and in my opinion this is not acceptable out here where each one only posts if they follow this sport. Further I feel he’s wrong as Casimero can definitely cause an upset as he’s a warrior, and with Manny in his corner it’s foolish to expect that he’ll be defeated so easily.
4736  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 0.2 BTC Wagering Contest 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: February 11, 2020, 02:46:43 AM
They weren't really interested in bitcointalk to begin with anyway. I mean they have only came here time to time to let people know there is a competition going on and they also came here to notify who won and that was it. Just check their history of posts and you will realize that they don't really "chat" with people here, they don't listen to feedbacks or even if they end up listening to them they don't respond or even care about it. So, I guess having their own forum makes sense if it will help people get their voices heard which they couldn't otherwise do here. The perfect solution would have been hiring a community manager but I guess that is not an expense they would want or even care about doing in the first place. This could be at least best of a bad situation.

I believe that it’s wrong to say that they’re not interested in Bitcointalk just because they don’t reply to each and every comment posted here, as I have often seen casinos offer much better support when you ask them on their site. Further having their own forum helps them increase their user base, and at the end of the day it’s their site and they have full rights to market it in the way they feel right so I’m failing to understand what are you’ll complaining about?.
4737  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 40 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: February 10, 2020, 06:00:52 PM
We may not be these high rollers and never see ourselves in their shoes but the reality is that people gamble this much all around the world all the time.

It could be on primedice or any other crypto gambling casino, it could be regular fiat gambling on online places like how poker players on places like pokerstars could literally have million dollar pots if you check youtube there is evidence of that, or it could be just regular casinos where whales goes to Las Vegas or somewhere else and spend millions of dollars a night to have fun. That has always been the case ever since casinos were started, people literally lost all of their money back in roman empire times with dice games, it is not a wonder that people would flock to biggest dice game of crypto industry and spend prodigious amount of money gambling.

@redsun114 there’s no need for comparison between those whales and us, as we wager as per our capacity and I have always got the thrill whenever I see such big bets being wagered, also I feel that we should not feel bad that we can’t wager like they do and instead find happiness in the small wagers that we’re able to do. Furthermore I don’t think whales would like to play much at land based casinos because of KYC regulations, whereas they can play anonymously at crypto based casinos and withdraw without any hassles.

Almost time for the start of F1, the season will start tomorrow with the presentation of Ferrari.

Meanwhile, we have a teaser from Mercedes. Hype.

Source: https://twitter.com/MercedesAMGF1/status/1226801353105825792

@coinlocket$ I’m so glad the season is back and hopefully this time it’ll be more competitive than the last season, and that’s a nice teaser by Mercedes hopefully it’s worth the hype.

I think that is good that the free practices before the official Championship will start soon but these do not show real team power. We have seen in these practices middle or bottom table teams top up the fastest lap of a day.Still these are good indications of where mid table teams are as I am sure top teams will not go full power here.

@swogerino you’re absolutely correct mate as the big teams will only show flashes of what’s coming, but the mid table teams will try and put on a good show for the viewers.
4739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is easier, stop when you are winning or stop when you are losing? on: February 10, 2020, 10:00:44 AM
I like to know your opinion about the question because I believe every gambler has a different way of managing himself.

My answer to the question is I can easily stop when I am winning because I am afraid I might end up with nothing since I know to myself that I am not yet consistent enough to win in gambling, however, based on my experience, I can't easily stop when I am losing despite the fact that I already set up a limit to gamble in a certain day or a certain session.

Do we have the same attitude or not?

@mirakal all gamblers out here will have different answer, and there can be no generic answer to this question however it’s nice to know that you can stop yourself when you’re winning. In my case I can neither stop when I’m winning or when I’m loosing and the only way I can stop is when I run out of money, or my family members snatch my remaining money and I’m forced to leave the casino.

For now, Dominick Reyes wanted an immediate rematch. It is very possible as it seems Dana likes him. But I can feel that Jon Jones will win in a rematch. That dirty champ will train harder. He's got the experience and is actually not that old.

Usually the UFC does not grand a rematch like that and if that was the case the fight against Alexander Gustafsson was also really close with opinions that Alexander Gustafsson won the fight but that rematch took 5 years and when that was done Jon Jones shut him down, Dominick Reyes was gassed out completely in the final two rounds and i am not expecting an immediate rematch as the winner of Corey Anderson and Jan Błachowicz might get the title shot against Jones.

I’ll agree with your analysis @7788bitcoin and I too don’t expect their rematch happening anytime soon, but at the same time I hope we don’t have to wait another five years to see their rematch. It’s also pertinent to note that Jones has given his consent for a rematch, but there’s no clarity yet when their rematch will take place.
