4721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: July 22, 2021, 03:01:09 PM
Time to see the new teams with solid foundations rise, and let the giants learn their lessons.
If under the pressure of a pandemic the giants are capable of breaking down, then what will happen to the clubs that do not have such big finances? I do not think that someone else will be able to fight for the championship in the Spanish championship, except for Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

I think the net effect is magnified. If you have a $100M wage bill, and you suffer half losses from revenue, then you maybe have to let go of a few big stars to get back $50M. But if you have $2 billion on your payroll, finding players to sell or take wage cuts to make up 1 billion in this market? Totally not possible.

4722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about TRX to DOGE on: July 22, 2021, 01:37:58 PM
14% up for doge and around more than 7% for TRX not bad for those who bought from the dip they are in profits

after waiting for the meeting, we seen some green market if you noticed the entire market, Bitcoin gained 6-7%

good enough also for those big players who managed to bought their asset yesterday.

Yeah I think I saw some guy in a casino coming in to play with DOGE, bought in yesterday/day before at 565 sats and now already made 10%++ on BTC exchange, decided to cash out instead of gambling. Weird way to "trade" but lucky whoever bought the dip.

Not sure how sustainable this is though.
4723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 22, 2021, 12:10:56 PM
In northern countries, indoor games are very famous, because it is not always easy to play abroad because of bad weather. Mainly 100 years ago, where the climate was not so unbalanced.

I think the baseball, for example, was how it was created.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basketball#Creation

Thanks for that and I think I get it now, totally did not remember that weather is a huge deal. But then again, people in Europe I see play football in freezing conditions, while we have to deal with flooding and super hot weather and still we play.

Interesting to see handball actually how it developed. Still not as fun looking as volleyball;)

*cough*withdrawalfees*cough* Grin
Haha but I deposit to FBC on lowest possible, which ends up being less than 500 satoshi, and that is consolidating a lot of inputs,,, so it is a win in the end but you are right I always make sure I earn enough interest to cover the w/d but that is max a week with the amount I deposit;)

Seems that many of us are getting closer to the 100k mark for the RP. Currently I have around 77k RP, so I hope to reach the ultimate goal in 1-2 months.

It was a little over 1 month ago that I redeemed 100k RP. Today I am already a third of the way towards reaching 100k again. It is not just the 5000 RP rewards from the wheel that are a big deal because the 500 amounts also add up to a few thousand RP.

I've accumulated and exchanged a number of times over the years, but those were the days of really high RP and rewards. Now with 2 RP per spin, I generally only accumulate during 5x promos. Agree though, I love getting those 500s;)
4725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pancake Swap on: July 22, 2021, 09:05:59 AM
Nothing to add except what people already have put here but some tips from my experience, Pancakeswap is Binance supported so only use the guides from Binance Academy (at binance.com)/

When withdrawing from Binance to Pancakeswap MetaMask, always choose the BSC chain (you will be asked several options). When you deposit from MetaMask to Binance, you just make sure you're connected to BSC network. That's about it:)
4726  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go down below $20,000. on: July 22, 2021, 07:38:34 AM
I only think it will fall into that price range if saylor's company (microstrategy) sells their bitcoin holdings which is not yet happening in the near future (they might be but not this year), and some fud's contribution.
While almost crypto price backs it feats now, going back to $32k isn't bad at all.

Not sure this would have any real bad effect. Some other super CEO yesterday already said his big company (sorry, I hate to bring him up but it was plastered all over the news) has significant Bitcoin holdings and all that seemed to do was put BTC up a few percentages.

So agree, 32k isn't bad at all but maybe all these big holdings aren't as effective as we think.
4727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell or keep holding HEX? already gained 50x on: July 22, 2021, 06:06:00 AM
As I read the progress of HEX, there's a lot of factors that probably help the price increase more than has been predicted. That's why there's always a room for everything and as their community remains lively all things are possible to happen 50x or above potential. Don't ever sell, just keep on holding when you're an investor for this coin.

Seeing as that you're a signature campaign participant for "Appreciate Coin" I guess I shouldn't expect any less of you;)

I wonder what "progress" you read from HEX. You know it was a pyramid scheme from the start right? Buy more, convince others to buy in and lock it for as long as possible, and then hope you cash out before others do?

4728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dissapointments of the creation of the thousands of failed altcoins. on: July 22, 2021, 05:20:54 AM
Broken "communities" full of wen moon lambo people and scammers is not a healthy community. Communities that don't even last a year when tokens dump, isn't going to help mass adoption.

Very good point, as long it is possible feeding those newcomers to avoid projects that only exist to allure investors.

Projects that don't have real case usages and just full of sweet promises, we are in this wild market where lazy newbies are always aiming for quick profits.

Though, it isn't our business but helping by sharing your knowledge about it is not bad right? it depends how will those newbies will take things in their hands.
[/quote]

I mean, I don't blame projects entirely. The fact is, the market is full of speculators who WANT only short-term gains and don't want to be crypto users and adopters, just crypto speculators.

But it's a circle jerk, and if you starve the supply, you'll also kill the demand.

Or, just stop wearing the mask and just go outright and say we're a ponzi or pyramid scheme;)

4730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's causing the decline this time? on: July 21, 2021, 02:57:53 PM
Sad to See that after many months now Finally Bitcoin stays Below 30k for 2 straight days.

Things that does not happened before even though it drops below 30k for 2 times recently yet climbs back again in a matter of hours.

But this time looks like it will stays for long.

Don't be sad. Be happy that those of us who don't have enough have longer to accumulate. At least, this is how I see it all the time. It's sad not to be holding coins worth 100k but it's even sadder not to even have a single BTC if it reaches that amount:)

So keep stacking at these low prices while waiting for the desired target. Keep our spirits up everyone:)
4731  Economy / Speculation / Re: 22 july, BTC 20k$ or 70k$? on: July 21, 2021, 02:02:11 PM
So if the news is bad, this could break BTC temporarily. And if it's good, I'm not sure it's strong enough to counter the global fears.
Down to $29k.

Yeah, there could still be an affection from the global event for which there's another variant. The stocks also went down and it's a global thing I guess but we'll see how long bitcoin will stay on $29k.

Those are wishing for it to go down, I guess their pockets are ready.

Just goes to show how much the entire world still relies on the third world countries. If economies there are broken, and they will be, eventually the chain reaction shows the net effect on stocks in developed markets.

All these fears of course make people shy from every type of investment, including Bitcoin. But eventually, it'll be the one proven to be the safest in all these uncertainties.
4732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: July 21, 2021, 12:58:04 PM
Looking at the signs of the madrid management movement, maybe this could happen. Without new players in the right positions, many players are approaching retirement and old age. If it's still like this, maybe many people are pessimistic about Madrid's results next season. Even though they have a new coach, the old players find it difficult to compete.

The signs were showing for a while, and I've to say, even for Barcelona the signs were quite loud. Money has always been the thing pushing these two big La Liga teams and I don't feel awkward to admit that even as a supporter but eventually something had to break and Corona just pushed it to the brink faster than we all thought.

Time to see the new teams with solid foundations rise, and let the giants learn their lessons.
4733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about TRX to DOGE on: July 21, 2021, 12:10:06 PM
Super, super risky indeed. And I know everyone's raving about elon musk's B word talk tomorrow, so the entire market will be hoping to hear him drop some B bombs and yeah sure, he'll probably take the opportunity to pump up DOGE a bit more too. It'll probably even work for a while.

Regarding TRX, pointless to have low fees when all the defi biz is going on BSC now or even ETH on L2.

Both true, for Doge followers  they are hoping for some  bomb coming from the man itself "Musk" who create this massive

pumped before, they are waiting for something good that this man will reveal after the meeting, who knows right? and regards

to TRX another true, BSC and ETH 2.0 are still hot in terms of transacting even TRC have the cheaper fees.

Another bomb should be coming today but I think if anyone expects it to be huge, they're going to end up massively disappointed. Might even pump a bit for a while like I said, and it might cause a new wave of buyers, but end of the day, Musk is losing steam every time he tries to, so he'll find it wise to eventually let go.
4734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 21, 2021, 11:07:09 AM
I am looking forward to the handball tournament at the Olympics. Even if Croatia isn't participating, Olympic handball is always highly entertaining. The Swedes and Danes are in the same group and they will battle it out for the 1st place. I don't see Bahrein, Japan, or Egypt being noteworthy opponents. Portugal could be tricky, but should be beatable by the Scandinavians. The other group is much stronger with France, Germany, Spain, and Norway.

This has got to be the third time in recent times I've seen someone talk about handball a lot:) Saw a few video clips online, it's not bad, and for sure not an easy sport I think my elbow and arm would die after 5 minutes. But is it really so big over there like to people play it regularly with each other like football? Trying to understand why it's so popular!:)
4735  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: July 21, 2021, 10:27:53 AM
Today joined the deposit bonus promo to get 10 freespins, try my luck who knows I can get 5000RP so that my total RP can be 101K, but today I'm not too lucky from 10 freespins more dominated by numbers 50, 50 satoshi, RP and lottery tickets, but it's still worth a try, who knows luck is on your side, especially the current network is not congested, you can still get your deposit credited quickly with a cheap tx fee.

Just my luck. Made a fresh deposit after some time and it landed just hours before the Deposit bonus;) Not really the amount I'd like but in these days, I'm trying to keep my BTC. Just feel like I'm close to redeeming RPs so thought I might set myself up for a 5x bonus when it comes!

I do miss those days of getting Lambo golden tickets for depositing though, but I'd be just as happy to get 10 free WoF spins. 50 x 10 is still 500 for nothing:)

4737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HELP] DEXs reviews on: July 21, 2021, 08:54:35 AM
I myself have been staying away from these Defi nonsense but like you, I'm also opening my mind to explore the used of these AMM Dexes not for staking or farming but actually swapping (exchanging).

My personal experience, as everyone out there has already said: they all work the same way, different layouts and different ways but once you've used one, you've used them all.

Some notes:
- some places call staking as saving but they mean the same thing -- lock the token in and earn a share of the revenue, this is regards to token platforms like UNI for Uniswap
- Aggregators are like 1inch, they don't have their own native DEX but instead plug into Uni, Sushi, etc and lets people trade/swap across them. 1inch protocol looks automatically for best price for your swap order BUT can end up being VERY expensive however, because when you place an order, it determines the best price from many LPs and then separately executes, so you end up paying not 1 but many swap gas fees.
- Aggregators like Plasma.Finance do it less complex. They also let you access Uni, Sushi etc, but they execute swap on one platform, which you choose after comparison.

Both aggregators I mention now migrated to Polygon (L2) so I think if you know how to use MATIC bridge you can swap for very cheap.

In short, I think the wisest option is to look not for 1 platform but 1 aggregator to access ALL platforms.
4738  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go down below $20,000. on: July 21, 2021, 08:30:53 AM
Looks like what happened in 2018 is happening again this year, if it's the same scenario then we can expect a long bear run for the market. Bitcoin dropping below $30k creates panic, altcoins are dumping as well so what can we expect that bitcoin has already fallen below $30k now?

Will we see the same scenario in 2018 or it will be different this time?

Patterns do not necessarily repeat, I think, and we've seen it time and again. I do believe in cycles though, but these do not necessarily all happen in the exact same way or method as in the past.

But you're right, I do agree. If we get further declines and no good news, then even the bulls might wait back and let it all ride for a long time. They're patient, and in no rush to get to 100k.
4739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dissapointments of the creation of the thousands of failed altcoins. on: July 21, 2021, 08:02:31 AM
For me use case isn't just about "creating a possible use for a coin". Use case is about providing a solution people WANT and people NEED because of a real problem they have. And this means, if a coin really has a use case, people will USE it.

The fact that all shitcoins with supposed use case are only being used to speculate and be sold, dumped, and pumped, proves they don't actually have a use case. "Decentralized currency" is not a use case:) Fast tx is not a use case. These are features:)
We won't have a point if we have a different definition of the term. Let's just agree to disagree.

I just want to emphasize. that all project could give their own promises to their community or everyone. In the end, it depends on how the usability and the adoption which the majority of people that will they use.

Fair enough, I guess. But I do think we have to stop feeding newbies and newcomers false promises and false marketing (saying use case when there isn't any, saying decentralized when it's clearly not, for example).

Broken "communities" full of wen moon lambo people and scammers is not a healthy community. Communities that don't even last a year when tokens dump, isn't going to help mass adoption.
4740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm now all in BTC. All eggs in one basket! on: July 21, 2021, 06:51:41 AM
For the latest people questioning, I haven't sold anything during the peak, actually I haven't sold a single satoshi ever.

BTC in the xx,xxx range is pennies and it would be a very dumb move to sell now. I do plan to sell a small amount when BTC will enter the xxx,xxx range, but I'm also very patient about it.

Well done to you! But I am still selling my BTC whenever I need, which is what I have to do anyway as I don't buy, rather I earn, so it's actually hodling as much as possible and selling what I need but I have to admit, I'm trying to sell as little as possible, and I sold a bit more than I normally did during the peak:)

If you're a holder though I agree, anything now and between the peak isn't much of a difference. xxx,xxx range, we are coming.
