4721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the difference between Online and Physical casinos? on: April 14, 2020, 02:34:01 AM
~~~
The fundamental difference between online casinos versus physical casinos is the atmosphere of the game. Physical casino allow players to know more about their opponents while playing and the atmosphere of a physical casino will also be a special attraction for players where there are many people who might watch us play. There is a different sensation between online and physical.
But the problem is that physical casino keep players away from home and spend a lot of time there. There is another pressure faced by physical casino players and maybe it comes from his family. Addicted to playing at a physical casino really allows the players to get bigger problems when compared to online casinos. If you win a lot and want to go home, then you have to be very careful because there might be people who want to take your win by force and we have the potential to experience physical violence.
But in online casinos, cases like this will not happen because we play anonymously and not many people know us and how much we have won because we can play anywhere even in the bedroom. This is what makes online casinos more practical and safer for players.
4722  Other / Meta / Re: why hoarding Smerits? on: April 13, 2020, 05:00:40 PM
I have realized that with the advent of new merit system, most of the established members are hoarding Smerits.
For me, hoarding sMerit maybe is not something that can be blamed on forums, but this kind of behavior will only be considered as a form of lack of hoarding contributions for forums and users. The bitcointalk.org forum has become a library for the bitcoin community around the world to learn it and now we have 117,144 active profiles based bpip.org. If this forum has been considered as our place to gain knowledge such as a library, then we must have a good contribution to the forum and users in a good and recommended way.
Merit system is an effort that requires each user to post quality things. Apart from aiming to help the forum reduce junk posts, the merit system will also function as a requirement for user rankup after the number of posts and activities. Someone with a lower rank is forced to post quality things if they want to move up to a higher rank and this does not mean that users who have been ranked higher can post junk because there are no rules that say users can post junk on forums and if found it will be deleted.
And one form of contribution to forums and users is distributing sMerit on other users posts that are considered quality and useful. Even though the merit system is not moderated, it must run as expected and we have statistics to control it. Good if you receive merit, you also have to distribute them to other users quality posts. Dont be stingy and dont be afraid, because only users who are afraid and stingy can be categorized as sMerit hoarders.
I did not expect the list of users on this thread to be considered a member of sMerit hoarding. [CLUBS] Top Merited-Users Classified into 4 Clubs
I have also came across various posts on other forums in which they are selling merits.
If indeed you find it, make one thread on the reputation board that is equipped with solid evidence. If they are proven to be misusing merit, they will also get prizes such as negative trust.
One solution from my side is we can modify the merit system by making Smerits in the multiple of 5, So that the minimum merits one can give and receive is 5 from single user. This will lead to the change in minimum numbers of merit requires for jr member and members but I am sure that will speed up the much needed change.
Not a good solution in my opinion and theymos will not consider it. Try to be a user who can post quality things, and you will have the opportunity to get more than what you expect and without having to change the minimum send sMerit to 5.
4723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to begin your gambling affiliate journey. on: April 13, 2020, 02:53:24 PM
~~~
The level of difficulty will be very different if we compare user affiliations with good popularity with less popular users. Popular or well-known users really allow it to have many followers and usually this will be a source for these users to get affiliates.

The number of followers we already have on social media will be very influential if we target passive income by sharing affiliate links. Affiliates can indeed be used as suggestions for generating passive profits, but I am sure everyone has different levels of difficulty. I like the affiliate program, but it takes a little patience and consistency to attract people to visit the link we share.
4724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market stability is not ascertain.We might fall again on: April 12, 2020, 03:50:32 AM
What makes the marketing very entertaining and promising is the rate at which the market is very unstable as it tends to go against all prediction on a short term based.
This is a condition where experienced traders profit. But such conditions may not be suitable for day traders. Cheesy

You might think if the market is crashing it'll stop at a certain predicted price by most of the cryptocurrency predictors but that's not usually the case.
Many predictions are broken when market conditions are unstable, so many daily traders have to cut losses faster. The level of difficulty possessed by daily traders is higher than long-term traders.

The previous crash saw everyone thinking the market will go down more but that wasn't the outcome instead the market recoved, peaking around $7000+ before currently experiencing a correction making the price of bitcoin to fall down below $7000 once again although I'm quite positive that price won't hold for long.
Maybe we should change our perception when prices dump, because the market will recover after a few days or weeks. Among the many good times to buy crypto assets on the market, I think at a time when dump prices are a good time to start something great for a trader or investor.
4725  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Intro to campaign managing on: April 12, 2020, 03:16:00 AM
Ok first post chastise my formatting if you must.
Sorry, you only need to set it as best you can to make it easy to read and understood by users.

although I have been on here as a visitor to browse or research plenty.
Most of the time you spend previously researching and understanding the forum as a visitor should lead you to one of the right doors to begin your journey that aims to become a bounty manager. Really, a beginner will not be prevented from being a bounty manager here but you have to buy copper members instead to send pictures and more to reduce post waiting time and more.

I want to get my foot in the door on that side and eventually work into managing campaigns myself.
You dont have to have a reputation to be a bounty manager even if you are a beginner but experience and ability may be important.
4726  Economy / Speculation / Re: My first experience of Bitcoin halving, I'm excited. on: April 12, 2020, 02:30:56 AM
That kind of hope can destroy your mentality, it seems that you are now having quick rick mentality that can be considered as disease where it can lead you to major losses. For those who will base their decisions just because of halving, be careful and manage your risks very well if you do not want to lose huge amount of capital. It is better if we will decide with some technicals.
We must know that trade and investment in crypto are high risk activities. Everyone involved in the market must consider all of these risks regardless of what they believe. Nobody knows how market conditions will be after halving of 2020, although there is a possibility that prices may increase but again I say that risk must always be considered.

Some traders and investors may believe that the price of bitcoin can increase to 20K-30K after halving, this trust is based on past history. I dont think history can be repeated this year, because in 2020 the world is faced with a terrible pandemic, covid-19. This pandemic might affect the interests of investors and traders in the market, there are many things to consider (maybe). But lets see what happens in halving of 2020 that is getting closer.

I dont think that PG really did not give the private keys to his wallet to receive donations to someone he trusted before he died. I hope he has trusted someone in this matter and all the money he has collected can be used by his family for other purposes. But if PG does not have the opportunity to give his private key to someone he trusts, then all that money will only be in vain. Really this is an unexpected condition.

I support this idea.
It be better together with a badge related to a deceased person, might be a black ribbon?
4728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggestions for online gamblers on: April 12, 2020, 01:16:50 AM

It is very possible for a heavy gambling addict to have complicated problems in his daily life both in the family, the community so that it will disrupt his healthy mindset. I am convinced that the effects of gambling addiction cant be felt at the beginning of addiction. But many cases begin when all the money has been spent on gambling and that is where gambling addicts are no longer able to control emotions that can also interfere with his mental.

It is very difficult to control the desire to no longer bet if we are addicted. Of course this addiction is a definite problem for all gamblers so they must be good at controlling it as well as possible and minimizing the effects caused. If you are not smart enough to control your desires, finances, and time in gambling, you should avoid them because I think this is a good solution to avoid problems caused by gambling addiction.
4729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Detective Community Populer? on: April 12, 2020, 12:21:10 AM
Some bounty managed by managers can be classified as projects that have good future prospects because the products offered can already be traded on the exchange. For most bounty hunters, they will feel more confidence in bounty whose products have been listed on the exchange because that will be proof that the project team has done their best to build the project from scratch.

Based on experience, I dont think that products that come from bounty even though they have been listed on the exchange since the beginning of the bounty program are not a guarantee that these products have prospects in the future. There are many projects that register their products from the beginning on the exchange but it is still possible for them to end up scam because in reality their products do not attract many traders or investors on the exchange after the bounty ends.

A bounty manager is not a guarantee that a project will succeed, but as an experienced manager he might be able to screen the bounty he manages so that it is not a project from a team that has bad intentions towards the bitcoin community. So as an experienced and reputable manager it is possible to attract investors and bounty hunters to promote the project and invest in it.

First, this is unpleasant news because comunity has lost people who have been considered good for years separated by death. I hope that his family will be given patience and fortitude. I am sure no one wants to let someone who has a big contribution to the community go forever, but we must realize that everyone who is here will die someday.

I support the idea conveyed by the OP because with this special title everyone will know that the real Bruno is dead and that a special title like that will protect his account from hacking or other things that could endanger the bitcoin community.

Can someone tell me which Bruno account? Sorry, I just knew him. Bruno account: Phinnaeus Gage

4731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: April 11, 2020, 02:12:29 PM
When I'm still gambling, I can control myself and I can gamble anytime I want.
The most difficult thing for every gambler to do is to control his emotions or control his desire not to bet and only gambling addicts can feel this difficulty. But if you are not a gambling addict, it is very possible for you to be able to control it.

All gamblers certainly want victory for every bet played. Some things that can cause loss of control not to bet are successive losses while the capital is still there. This can trigger a greater desire to start higher bets with the aim of returning capital that has been previously spent.
4732  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion to make rank-up more difficult on: April 10, 2020, 04:03:54 PM
whether our personal main achievement in this forum is "Legendary Rank"??
I dont think that Legendary ranking is the main goal or achievement of every forum user. But it is a right for every user who has a contribution and quality in the forum. When the merit system is implemented, Legendary ranking can only be achieved with positive contributions to the forum and also to most users. And I must say that they are the most entitled to get merit on most posts made consistently.

A high rank does not promise that you are knowledgeable and a low rank does not prove that you are a beginner.
The number of merit a user receives is clear evidence that the user is a quality poster, the more merit a user receives indicates that the user is a quality poster or user who is contributing.

I do not agree if you say that Legendary members achieved after the merit system is implemented cant guarantee that it is not a user who has good quality posts and also does not prove that the user does not have extensive knowledge. If you think so, then I will never agree with you.

If you can understand what theymos say, then I am sure you will change your current perception. From this quote we can interpret that only the shit posters has never reached a higher rank even if only one merit.

Forcing people to post high-quality stuff in order to rank up. If you just post garbage, you will never get even 1 merit point, and you will therefore never be able to put links in your signature, etc.

I believe that everyone needs time to gather with family and build quality relationships. Its normal. But for most businessman, the time is getting narrower so that there is little time for them to gather with their families. Covid-19 might have a negative effect on everyone in the world, but on the one hand, his presence also made us realize that family time might be more important and must be maintained.

Among the many things we can do when we stay at home during covid-19 is to increase our knowledge and ability to build our business related to interests. Like us as crypto users, we must maximize this time and opportunity to improve our knowledge and capabilities so that we can further understand crypto such as trading, investment systems, improving the quality of posts and so on.

I think he is dead after a few years bitcoin was launched. The reason is that when bitcoin has entered the era as an asset that has a high sale value, there is no movement in bitcoin that is claimed as its own in the wallet. Only my assumption.

If he is a man, then I dont consider him a normal man. But I must say he is a genius and has extraordinary talent.  Cheesy
Handsome? probably not. He must have 4 layers of glasses when in front of the monitor. Cheesy
4735  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I give my wallet information to someone who wants to pay in Bitcoins? on: April 07, 2020, 04:03:03 PM
I'm sure I will have more questions once  payment has been made.
Good, you got through it. Nobody forbids you to ask something here, and you are advised to always pay attention and read some of the threads embedded at the top before you ask questions. Maybe you will get an answer to the question that you want to ask there.

A list of threads that you should pay attention to before you ask something, even though the BH board is the right place to ask something that still confuses beginners but ignoring the rules is also not a good thing.

Welcome to the forum, start your journey well and consistently. Only learning and ask questions can add knowledge and practice to experience.

The OP can still summarize all the best opinions on all threads and include them in the list. Even though it requires more effort and time, if the OP or others succeed in doing it, such an effort must be appreciated.

However, the efforts made by the OP must also be beneficial to other users because it can be a reminder for anyone not to issue repeated threads.
This ain't just a good help for reading.
A reminder also that there are already a lot of threads created by our veterans here.
That means, you don't need to create one.  Grin
4737  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC got stolen. Once again! :/ on: April 07, 2020, 03:22:05 PM
I am sure that the incident experienced by the OP is the most undesirable thing for everyone. For that reason, I am also grateful that with the OP is current experience, it should be a concern and consideration of all people who ignore security and should not act carelessly because in the crypto world a little mistake will cause a big impact, especially regarding security.

We as crypto users must continue to work to secure assets in the form of bitcoin or altcoin that we store in our wallets. Hackers work endlessly to find gaps and victims. When we make the wrong choice, it will have a big impact on the assets we have.

No matter how great or how strong our efforts are in securing our crypto assets, I must advise against storing them in one place. This effort is an option that is still worth considering to prevent us from losing all assets if at any time our security system is damaged.

I dont think your findings are anything new to do now from forkdelta, its just that you might not realize it from the start. Sorry, I didnt mean to offend you, but that is the truth.  Cheesy

I only advise you not to use the Ethereum address that you generate from creating a new address from forkdelta even though you have full control over the PK. This refers to a number of things that might make you lose your assets or money because using the address you generate from there is not recommended for long-term use. Only MEW or Metamask is recommended by many people including by campaign managers and ICO project developers and others.

On previous occasions, I have created a thread that might be useful for beginners here to create an Ethereum address from MEW and produce a PK that can be stored and used for a long time. Read and learn if you want because I have locked this thread and if there is something I want to ask, I can open the lock at any time.

The impact of gambling will be seen when someone has experienced a heavy addiction and cant control his desire to gamble. Only severe addiction to gambling is harmful to health, mental, economic, and this effect is not spontaneous when someone is new to gambling. While the impact caused by the corona virus pandemic has caused the whole world to fear, the economy collapses, people must stay at home and it is very life threatening for those infected. Even though infected people can be cured, this corona virus pandemic has a terrible impact all over the world.

When viewed in terms of danger to the community, the corona virus is the most appropriate. Corona has disrupted almost all community economic activities, a country's economy, and the world economy. Physical gambling is closed, there are no sports matches, because all activities outside the home can be considered as a danger to your health and soul. Does gambling have that effect in a short amount of time?
