4741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is crypto making the world go crazy? on: June 21, 2018, 10:27:39 AM
why people are crazy for crypto ,they leaving their job, they selling their house , selling their property?

Partly because of the huge potential that crypto has for changing the world, but mainly because it's the new gold rush / dot com boom.
There is undeniably a lot of money to be made in crypto, but this comes with a high level of risk. Some people are more careful than others, and some people are just outright reckless. Obviously we are each responsible for our own decisions, but it is always prudent to make an assessment of risk before jumping into any new venture.
4742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin as the national currency of the United States on: June 20, 2018, 07:52:57 AM
There is no need to set bitcoin as the national currency rather it should be set as global currency which it already is, selecting it as a national currency for one country will be against its decentralized and borderless concept so i think crypto should be as it was intended too.

Indeed. The economy now is global, every country is intertwined with every other country, and the idea of a national currency is out of date and needs to be replaced. Crypto is borderless and is for everyone. I don't think the US would ever accept bitcoin as a national currency as the US cannot control bitcoin. As to whether the US accepts bitcoin or other cryptos as global currencies, the decision is really out of their hands. If crypto succeeds it will become a global currency, and the US (or any other country) can either jump aboard or be left behind.
4743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CNBC reporting 2000 USD for Bitcoin! on: June 19, 2018, 02:06:16 PM
It does not sound good but anything is possible!

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/06/11/dont-count-on-a-bitcoin-rebound-from-the-weekend-rout-any-time-soon-chart-analysts-say.html

At the moment everything is up in the air: It is a mess!

I think this is just baseless speculation. Technical analysis doesn't always apply well to crypto. We hit a solid market bottom around $250 billion at the end of the big dip. The current dip is showing resilience above that point and now showing signs of upwards movement. I don't think there's a huge chance of the market dropping below the $250b point.
4744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do not invest now , wait on: June 19, 2018, 07:10:57 AM
This is the golden rule i can say.

-snip-

Do your own research too , i need to maximize the everyone's wealth.

The golden rule should probably be "to learn how to use english better." While I understand what you're trying to say (and feel like it's a poor attempt to inform the public of basic common sense), the way you wrote it is not good to look at and is actually, horrendous.

Additionally, is there any particular reason why you feel the need to "maximize everyone's wealth?"

It's a nice sentiment, but not possible in practice. For every buyer there is a seller, and vice versa. Every time you sell at an ATH, you are selling to someone who is buying at an ATH.
4745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the bear season over yet on: June 18, 2018, 12:55:48 PM
The encouraging sign for me is that the market bottom that established during the great bear run earlier this year (around $250 billion whole market) looks still to be providing a lot of resistance. The markets look as though they won't drop past that point, so I think there is a lot of resilience there. This would suggest we are at the bottom now, and from here the only way is up.
4746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I cash out and take the loss? on: June 18, 2018, 10:12:11 AM
At the beginning of the year I got into cryptocurrency think I would make a lot of money if I did a ton of research and learned everything about crypto. So I bought $4k worth of bpt and prl. I would say my stack is worth about $1000 now with a 75% loss. Everybody on this forum talked so highly of those coins thinking it would sky rocket one day but they are just getting so low that I know I will never get my money back & I don't want to lose it all. I guess I'm here to say don't trust anybody on this forum that thinks they know what a good coin is and most differently DONT trust any future "10x coin" on here. Truth is this is mostly a game of luck. I'm out, cashing out so I don't lose everything!

I would advise to look at the long term charts. Yes, since the ATH of early January we have seen a drop, but the longer term trend is still upwards. The Dec/Jan rise was too far too fast, and the fact that this rise was so huge without any levelling off period meant that when it overshot and the inevitable pullback began, no-one knew where the stable point would be - there had been no consolidation at a stable price point since before the rise began. Finally we hit solid resistance at around $250 billion for the whole market. There was then a bounce back upwards, followed by another dip - but I think a lot of people can agree now that price drops will experience huge resistance around $250 billion. This would suggest that if you cash out now, you are cashing out near the bottom. I think we have stabilised now and price rises will come sooner rather than later.

As you say though, we are all guessing, and other people doubtless have differing perspectives.
4747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This market could go either way! on: June 18, 2018, 07:48:21 AM
If it goes down it could go down 40 percent.
In addition, if a coin is deemed a security by the SEC its price will plummet: Not if but when!
This is a dangerous game and is pure gambling!

I know it is all guesswork, but I don't think a 40% drop is likely. The big drop that started in January finally established a stable base for the whole market of around $250 billion. I think this is why the current fall hasn't dropped below that threshold. I would expect huge resistance to the market dropping past that point.
4748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your thoughts on energy projects? on: June 18, 2018, 07:25:30 AM
There is a lot of talk of various projects and the future of the market but I am curious on everyone's opinions on the future of blockchain energy projects like Power Ledger, Restart Energy, Sun Contract, etc.

Do you think these really have the potential to completely change the way people buy and sell energy?

Yes, I think so in the long-term. At the moment crypto is infamous for being a waste of energy - the huge resources expended on BTC mining for example. So I'm not sure whether this existing notoriety will be a good thing or a bad thing for a crypto energy project. Certainly it can't start from a lower base, so I suppose the only way is up.
4749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: weak period for cryptocurrency, do you agree? on: June 15, 2018, 10:32:33 AM
I think this is the most sluggish period since I joined the crypto currency. what your opinion?
What caused it?

I think we are still experiencing the aftermath of the December/January rise. The market went up to an insane amount, causing the drop afterwards, and we are still struggling to recover from that.
4750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you a bounty hunter .. ?? on: June 15, 2018, 08:37:59 AM
I have seen a lot of friends who follow the bounty program to find additional income and I also do not want to miss but I am still confused because the income that I get just a little ..  Embarrassed

my question, how much income you get from bounty signature or sosmed dll. . ??

It varies a lot depending on the project. If you have a low rank, you will not get so much for signature bounty. I would suggest translation bounty if you have a second language, also social media bounties might be worth considering if you have a big presence (although these are often heavily subscribed).
4751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is that a begining of the end? on: June 15, 2018, 08:08:48 AM
I'm interested in Your opinions, don't You think we are in the middle of failing cryptocurrencies?

No, definitely not. Look at where crypto was even one year ago, we are vastly higher in price now. Yes, there has been a long dip, but this is just a huge correction to the rise at the end of 2017. There is no reason for concern. Crypto is here to stay, and long-term I am very confident that prices will rise.
4752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What should I buy in this dip on: June 14, 2018, 02:35:26 PM
I can't resist a good sale and I'm thinking of buying 3-5 alts in this dip. Tell me what you think:

Strengthen my position in NEO / EOS / ETH

OR

Buy into some alts I've been watching for a while: PRL / KMD / ZIL / SIA / (add your coin here)

Any and all suggestions welcome!

If you can't choose between several coins, then it can be worth looking at what has fallen the most during this dip. Often those that fall the hardest recover the quickest, so if coin A has dropped 10% and coin B has dropped 15% and you think both projects are equally good, then I'd say buy coin B.
4753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Altcoins dump again? on: June 14, 2018, 12:36:44 PM
All Altcoins dump again. What is the reason? What happen crypto market in this time? What we need to do for this?Any suggestions...

Peaks and troughs. The reason is just that it is a volatile market. Sometimes news can sway it one way or the other, but generally it is the nature of the market itself. Often FOMO turns a slight rise into a mad gold rush, and panic selling turns a slight drop into a massive bear run.
Don't panic, just stick it out. If you are good at trading then trade, else just hold.
4754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops profitable? on: June 14, 2018, 11:58:48 AM
Hi guys, I'm doing airdrops now for 2 weeks but are airdrops that profitable they look like? The main question for me is: Could you make money (100+$ a month) with airdrops?

Some of them are good, but these are quite rare. Most airdrops probably get you a few dollars - so yes, if you apply for maybe 2 airdrops per day you will likely hit your $100 per month.
Do be careful though as some are scams and phishing attempts. Be especially wary of those that ask for KYC information, and stay away from anything that asks for your private key!
4755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why the market is like this? - Should i quit crypto for good! on: June 14, 2018, 08:03:02 AM

Is this a whale manipulation to get in lower or there are some really bad news in crypto market? Please be honest and tell the truth. I am really thinking to quit crypto world for good as i can still quit as a winner from my initial investment. I am getting sick of this market and hope and patience is not good enought for me. I dont believe in Bitcoins new ATH by the end of the year. What i saw in may and now in june it really turn me pesimistic about the crypto market. So i want to save my last BTC i have left.

It helps to look at the longer-term trend. Zoom out on the charts to look at the last 12 months. The progress is still steadily upwards, it's just that there have been a lot of ups and downs along the way.

Really it comes down to if you still have faith that crypto will change the world. If you do, then hold. If you don't, then maybe cash out at least in part.
4756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [NEO] Price falling.. on: June 13, 2018, 11:25:55 AM
All coins are falling. What often happens is that when they start rising again, a lot of those that fell the most also rise the most. I think NEO is still a great long-term hold.
4757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin back to $500 is likeley on: June 13, 2018, 07:26:43 AM
It looks like bitcoin will have a very strong dip and be back under 1k.  My prediction is telling me it will fall to around the 500 dollar range within a month.

I think this is extremely unlikely. If you look at price movements since last autumn you can see that the general trend is upwards. The biggest dip came after the biggest rise, which is quite natural. This bottomed out around $250 billion for the whole market. Yes we are currently below $300 billion, but I don't think there's much chance of dropping below $200 billion, and next to no chance of bitcoin dropping to $500.
4758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How long does it takes for a Token to rise the price after ICO? on: June 13, 2018, 07:12:32 AM
Was confused with this matter if how long it takes a token/coin to rise its value from ICO Price to a higher price?

Does it take 1 or 2 weeks, months or years after the ICO to reach higher price than the ICO price?

I saw a lot of ICO's which already listed in an exchange sites but the price still very low and is lower than the ICO price, how could it be? People are investing in ICO but lost because the value after ICO in exchanges are lesser than they price where people are investing.

The answer is that it varies. If a coin has high demand and the ICO hits hard cap, then it can rise when it hits the exchanges as demand is high. Equally if demand is low, then prices can be low.
There are many factors to consider, including whether the market as a whole is green or red. I think looking at demand during the ICO is important, but also important are things like ICO bonuses - if a coin offers a high bonus, say 50% extra tokens for buying early, then that can cause a lot of sell orders as it's almost guaranteed profit for the early investors.
4759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest profit from an AirDrop? on: June 10, 2018, 03:58:48 PM
My biggest was from ebtc when it first came up.I made upto about $1500 from that airdrop and fortunately sold at the peak before it's price crashes.Eltcoin was also a big hit for me.I tried hodling but needed money urgently and had to sell off.I Regretted later but there was nothing i could do.The airdrops now adays aren't as lucrative as first even though i still join them just in case

eBTC was my biggest by far, too. It wasn't so long ago, but I do agree that airdrops like that are very rare. I don't take part in many these days as so many of them don't result in very much.
4760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don’t just buy a coin 🙈 on: June 10, 2018, 09:49:06 AM
It's definitely true that people jump in and buy a coin just because it is currently being hyped, regardless of whether or not it's a good project. This I think is more due to FOMO than laziness - we all know that price moves can be very rapid, and in the time it takes to learn about a project, the price can rise so much that it's no longer worth buying in.
So I understand why people do it, and I myself have probably also been guilty of this in the past, but really it is not a good idea. There is plenty of good stuff out there, and in general it is better to know what you are buying into rather than just throwing money at whatever is currently rising.
