4741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Question Regarding Bitcoin core on: March 25, 2021, 06:56:11 PM
If it's not fully synced it won't be able to make a normal transaction.

I suggest you if you are in hurry you can dump your wallet private keys and import them to any non-custodial wallet like Electrum. So that you can transfer them to your Trezor wallet.

If you don't know how to do it just go to debug console and use this command below.

Code:
dumpwallet "filename"

It will dump all of your private keys from your bitcoin core wallet that you can use to import to any non-custodial wallet like Electrum.
4742  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Facebook ads on: March 25, 2021, 03:40:53 PM
I suggest you don't attempt to use VCC on Facebook ads it will ban you quickly same as what happen to me last year.

If you want to run campaign ads on Facebook I suggest you look to someone who has a Facebook agency account or Facebook business manager account. There are many on BHW who sell these accounts or you can rent them.

If you want I can pm the link from BHW that posted weeks ago they do accept BTC payment.

Here's the one 3rd party service that sells business manager account.

Code:
https://verifiedbm.com/

Don't forget to read their product replacement below if the account doesn't work or banned.

4743  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Faucetpay.io Security Incident on: March 24, 2021, 04:52:35 PM
Should I keep on using faucetpay or say good bye to them?

What is your purpose of using faucetpay?
If you want to use a wallet to receive faucet rewards from bitcoinker why not use non-custodial instead?

For me, it's better don't use faucetpay and use a wallet that you have full control of or at least a wallet that you can able to backup private keys or seeds.
4744  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Can't download Electrum on OSX on: March 24, 2021, 02:45:14 PM
If you downloaded the latest version it won't work because according to Electrum supported are 10.13 or higher version of OSX

If you can upgrade your Mac OS to a higher version or to 10.13 the latest version of Electrum should be work.

If you can't able to upgrade the Mac OS with a higher version you can try to download the lower version of Electrum from here https://download.electrum.org/
Just don't download the version lower than 3.3.4.
4745  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: www.britshminers.com on: March 24, 2021, 02:07:35 PM
I think you are talking about britishminers?

The domain is pretty new according to whois

Code:
Domain:britishminers.com
Registrar:NameCheap, Inc.
Registered On:2020-12-30
Expires On:2021-12-30

If you are planning to buy ASIC or GPU miners on that site I suggest you better don't buy miners from them. It's risky and look at this post below just found while searching here on the forum.

It seems there are many people already scammed from this site.
4746  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S9 - Hashboard red light on but don't appear on: March 24, 2021, 01:34:34 PM
Yes, you can try it but I'm not 100% sure if this will fix your issue unless if the kernel log shows "pic fw version=0x00 or 0xff" it means that the pic firmware is corrupted or deleted. So the only solution to fix the pic issue is to flash it with Pickit 3 with working hex file.

We have an old guide here on how to flash hashboard with a working hex file but it's only for t9+ miner you can find it from this link below that you can use as reference
- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5032987.0.

Have you tried to test them one by one? Then run it with low freq. If you don't know how to lower the freq you can follow this guide https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2690140.msg34057256#msg34057256.

Do this while testing them one by one and maybe the reason for this is because of overtemp that's why all hashboard acting dead.
4747  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Whatsminer m21s SSH on: March 24, 2021, 01:15:51 PM
I don't know which version has enabled SSH access but since the firmware from microBT is SSH disabled try to use the oldest firmware listed from this link below.

Just make sure to check the control board model first of your miner so that you can flash with the right firmware.
4748  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Whatsminer m21s SSH on: March 23, 2021, 11:57:59 PM
The root user and password might be different if the root root doesn't work the only thing that I think to change it back to default is by flashing it through an SD card to reset it back to factory default.

You can find the firmware of this miner from here https://www.microbt.com/server/firmware.html?locale=en

After you flash through the SD card try to access the SSH again and use root/root or root/admin
4749  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S9 - Hashboard red light on but don't appear on: March 23, 2021, 04:27:19 PM
You mean about the motherboard is the control board?

Can you try to test it first with one hashboard or run them one by one follow the guide from this link below to troubleshoot - https://support.bitmain.com/hc/en-us/articles/226142788-Test-hash-board-one-by-one

The logs show that all chains have 0 ASIC have you tried to replace all cables it looks like this below.

It might not be connected properly that is why all ASICs can't detect and also the temp is abnormal.

You can try to flash the control board with an SD card if you feel it's a software issue you can follow the guide - https://support.bitmain.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019493654-S9-series-S9-S9i-S9j-S9-Hydro-Control-Board-Program-Recovery.
4750  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Buying cryptocurrencies with Payoneer card? on: March 22, 2021, 11:15:57 PM
I think Payoneer card is a prepaid card and I think most of the exchange doesn't accept prepaid cards to buy crypto or bitcoin.

The only option that I know you can buy BTC with Payoneer is on a P2P exchange like Paxful.

Oppsss. It seems that Binance accepting Payoneer card according to the post from this https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/g14bn8/buying_btc_with_payoneer/
I'm sure you will need to be KYC verified before you can buy BTC with Payoneer card.
4751  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: i bought test fixture but the screen say "no hash board"... on: March 22, 2021, 10:44:41 PM
What OS do you use?

Why not repeat all procedures to make sure that you did everything according to the procedure from Zeus?

Or might be the hashboard you are trying to test is totally dead?

Check the guide from this link below on how to test hashboard.

Then follow this guide below on how to install xshell and USB driver

Read carefully and don't skip and then the s9 TF card file can be found from this link below.

4752  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: hijacked s9 on: March 22, 2021, 01:15:30 PM
Where do you mine? I mean what pool do you mine?

The pool status seems weird are you sure that you flash it through an SD card?

Try to flash it with some custom firmware like Braiins OS or the firmware modded by thierry4wd you can find it from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5127323.0
4753  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: selling your bitcoin direct to consumers on: March 20, 2021, 11:53:21 PM
I'm new to bitcoin and would like to find a miner to buy from directly rather than paying fees to an exchange and trusting them with private personally identifiable information.  I'm transitioning from gold investing into our new crypto world.

What exactly do you want to achieve do you want an exchange that doesn't need KYC or you are planning to buy/sell used miner directly to people(P2P)?

Or it seems that you want to buy bitcoins directly from people who mined bitcoin?
It's likely you want to rent their miner to get bitcoin?

Base on your title you are planning to sell bitcoin to the consumer means you are looking for P2P?

If you are looking for p2p you can check Bisq they don't require KYC check this link https://bisq.network/
4754  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: what do i need to learn to be a good blockcahin developer on: March 20, 2021, 11:16:00 PM
I think you will need to learn many programming languages if you want to become a blockchain developer.

I have some links here that you can learn about blockchain you can start making your own DIY blockchain if you want to learn how it works.

You can check this list of links below

4755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: exodus app !!help!!! on: March 19, 2021, 11:11:26 PM
Exodus don't use private keys, it only use seeds though I use the mobile version of it.

What do you mean that they don't use private keys?

Look at this image

View private key button should show the private key as logfiles pointing out.

If you can't find the 3 dots on Exodus try to press these 3 buttons "Ctrl+Shift+D" to enable "developer menu" and check the wallet again which asset you want to export the private key and it should show 3 dots under that wallet and you will see the "view private key" the same as the image above.

The only problem is it seems there is no wallet for Polkadot to import the private key they mostly use seed. The same goes for Cardano(ADA) they don't also have a wallet that you can import a private key unless if you are going to switch to Atomic wallet. Unlike Ethereum there are many wallets that supports import private keys.
4756  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: xinshili q3 problem on: March 19, 2021, 10:22:04 PM
These Chinese units like Aixin or love core a1 and Q3 miner are not well-known miners and mostly they don't have support. That's the problem for a cheap miner like this one.

Anyway, according to your logs, it shows abnormal fan speed since you already tried to replace the fan and the result is the same maybe it's a software issue.

It seems that I found Xinshili website and this is what I found from their page from here http://xinshili.com.cn/product/q3/

and here's the firmware link https://pan.baidu.com/s/166gaSZsZ6hXTmTdNKd-qoA Extraction code: fi83

Try to flash your miner with that firmware and test it again.
4757  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Im new.. I have a question for the Pros! :) on: March 19, 2021, 09:56:08 PM
What exactly bitcoin trading do you mean? Is that from a blockchain wallet? or it is from a cash app wallet?

I think you are trying to transfer or send Bitcoin with a low fee? Or maybe the trading wallet you talking about froze your wallet for a couple of minutes or hours or maybe days. There are exchanges that temporarily frozen the wallet for a few hours or minutes until the deposit coins are confirmed for more than 5 confirmation or more(depends on what coins).

Can you clarify the trading wallet you talking about so that we can give you solution about your issue.
4758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: exodus app !!help!!! on: March 19, 2021, 08:20:32 PM

what wallets do you recomend for ADA ETH DOT?
thanks

I can't find any recommended wallet that supports all of these coins except for the Atomic wallet the only problem with the Atomic wallet they already have bad reviews here on the forum. So not recommended to switch on this wallet.

If you want a safe wallet to hold multiple coins there is one option that I know that supports these all coins.

Try Ledger nano they support both of these coins it is highly secured compared to use Exodus or Atomic wallet.
Their official website can be found here https://www.ledger.com/
4759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: exodus app !!help!!! on: March 19, 2021, 03:43:35 PM
Have you checked if it is a trading fee or transaction fee?

It seems it's a common issue or a bug on Exodus wallet.

Can you try to refresh the wallet you can follow the guide from this link below

- Discovering missing funds in your exodus wallet by refreshing it
4760  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: My miner Work only one chain.. on: March 19, 2021, 02:46:57 PM
This miner doesn't have support they don't even have a website. I tried to search on Google but I can't find any information that can help to fix your issue.

Anyway, can you try to reset it to the factory default you can do that by holding the IP report button or similar or use the reset button hold them for 15 or 20 seconds then release
Then test it again after if not work and you can access the Web GUI try to factory reset there and try to run it again.

If it still doesn't work you can try the firmware from this post below.

I don't know if this firmware will work in your miner and never heard someone succeed flashing their a1 miner by flashing it with that firmware(Be careful it might also brick your miner unless if you are ready for consequences).
