4741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 02, 2020, 12:47:08 PM
How about the Raptors vs Lakers game?

Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby showing more of their improvements.
If these guys keep this up, it will be difficult to stop them.
Both have height and agility. Their defensive awareness is also there.
Chances of them winning the East or better the Finals are there. They might not be like the superstars but when combined, they are strong.

Let's credit that to the coaching staff, these guys would not excel in the team if not because of the good coaching and training.
Remember, people thought that Raptors are over when Leonard left, but no, they showed the same strength and they are even better now, so I still consider them as a team that has a potential to win back to back championship.

They improve so much and by looking at their games they are so consistent and I assume that they still a title contender team even if no Kawhi on their rooster. The coaching staff reall do a great job here since imagine they manage to burning up their champion spirit.

This will be a good run for raptors and I want to see another game with Clippers and raptors since this is truly interesting game to watch.

If they will again reach in the NBA finals this season, I guess they will soon earn the respect of the people. Right now, it looks people are thinking it was Leonard who gave them the championship, not the whole team's effort, if they beat let's say a healthy Lakers or Clippers in the NBA finals, then I guess they'll earn a lot of fans.
4742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight on: August 02, 2020, 12:29:58 PM
What happened to Lopez posting this?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rj-mEMNwCw0

His main reason is that 1.2$ million is not enough to feed his family? WTF? Granted that he won't get the full paycheck because of taxes and some goes to his team (trainers, assistant trainers, cut man etc), but man, you are acting a bitch and surely his stocks will go down. He should take every advantage and opportunity here, IMHO.

Maybe he realized that Loma is gonna nail him, so he want a big paycheck as this could be his last fight.
If I am him, I would not think of the money for now if I believe on myself, as winning against Loma will make him a big market in the future.

1 of 2.

Almost there.
Just more push then I might win the whole thing next time.  Grin
Kind of a hard headed.

I am thinking Rockets small line up could win against the Bucks.
It would mean getting Brook Lopez out just to equal the speed. It might become a fast break spree for the Rockets if not.

Good luck Reid , I just noticed, you really love to bet on the under... that's good as public loves to bet on the public.

Total odds is 9.42470... GL on that again.
4745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should there be any age limit of Gambling? on: July 30, 2020, 12:01:06 AM
18 above, you are eligible to gamble, just like getting a driver's license, in some countries at 16 you can already get a license, so probably 18 years old is already matured enough to take understand the risk and enjoy gambling. However, I think it's impossible to strictly impose in crypto casinos as anyone can gamble here even without KYC, maybe in fiat casinos it will work, but here it will not.
4746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: July 29, 2020, 11:40:27 PM
The boxing tournament in Las Vegas is hard to explain. Totally, the question is, how to expand more fans if the social distancing has constantly implemented by our government and this protocol is useful to maintain and I think people are responsible to follow, So it's hard to manage because even people love this game, not safety, I think it is normal that we have an inevitable worry feeling while showing the real fight. I think in fact I also like to bet in an online process for safety measures while we aren't totally sure that we are free on the pandemic virus.

There's no fans, it's been in the news already when the boxing return in Vegas.

Las Vegas — Add boxing to the list of sports on the comeback trail.

Promoter Bob Arum said Thursday he plans to stage a card of five fights on June 9 at the MGM Grand, the first of a series of fights over the next two months at the Las Vegas hotel. A second fight card will be held two nights later, with ESPN televising both cards, kicking off twice-weekly shows at the hotel in June and July.

Let's put some figure as evidence to compare the NBA and WNBA market, so we will know why NBA has resume and WNBA didn't

Just in case you missed mate, WNBA resumed their season.

And no need for comparing their market. WNBA only has 12 teams and have a 36 games overall in a season.

WNBA resume is easy to prepare compare to NBA so that's what I'm thinking why they push the resume.

You are right, in fact they have a game now, there's a betting odds available in one of the sportsbook I'm using.

But, the owners of this team could still earn a lot by betting on the other teams and letting their team losses in a game.

Worst comment so far here lol.

It won't happened. It will damaged the whole BlackWater company and franchises.

This is possible mate, he knows the team very well, so he can bet against his own team. It's illegal, we all know that but there are owners who are selling their team to loss to syndicate, haven't heard a news about that, it's just rumors but I believe on it.

Congratulations to you OP, hope this win will continue, great timing, bitcoin is bullish, so that should result to bigger exchange rate.
Thanks  Smiley
Sweet moments, unless I determined to keep this topic updated for quite long period, I would grab my profit right now and reconsider my strategy. Maybe a bigger amount could be better or try another coin for a long period.

That's a good decision, you can re invest anytime but this moment is hard to pass as bitcoin could possibly sink again if it will fail to break solid resistance going uptrend, good luck on your decision, hopefully you will resume investing again at the right moment.
4750  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Jetwin casino is stealing over 30,000 dollars in winnings from me on: July 29, 2020, 09:22:58 PM
OP has laid down all the evidence he have against the accusation but Jetwin does not respond yet.

People in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=355484.0 should be aware about the scam accusation, tagging OP might be a good start since there was no response, maybe OP didn't know about this thread as the account was not so active anymore.
4751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SIMPLE ADVICE TO ALL NEW TRADERS on: July 29, 2020, 09:03:33 PM
to be a good trader you need discipline , the same discipline you apply to a 10$ account is what you should apply to a 10k$ account.
Have you ever traded in the market?
Trading with $ 10 fund is completely different from $ 10k fund especially trading psychology. It is possible to achieve a high profit rate when trading with a small money, but once you have achieved a large amount of capital, all of your decisions will be affected by your psychology. This is what I went through when trading.

Yes, that's a different amount but OP wasn't talking of its differences, as that is just numbers, what you need is the skills to trade because if you have that already, you'll be consistent and you can be profitable regardless of the amount you trade. Consistency means long term success in trading.
4752  Economy / Economics / Re: Here is the biggest problem with cryptos on: July 29, 2020, 11:30:38 AM
I don't call it a problem, that's the reality, no business would operate without a cost, so they will also charge to get their revenue.
Simple common sense,  revenue - expenses = profit. that's always the formula, don't expect something free, because that is not legit.
4753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BetBit Casino Gone? on: July 29, 2020, 11:07:39 AM
Is it officially gone? seems their team is very quite and the op from their thread is inactive now.

op were afraid to tell but I think they will not be coming back and face their problems with their gamblers.

It's officially a scam. Don't expect the team will update, their site alone that was offline for days already is an evidence that they are on an exit scam.

This is the site http://betbit.com/
4754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Rise of Bitcoin on: July 29, 2020, 09:18:46 AM
We can see the new surge of bitcoin in crypto market . It exceed $500K  again ....

Excuse me, there's no $500k in the history of bitcoin price, bitcoin's ATH was just almost $20,000.. don't remember the exact figure, but that's pretty it, that $500k is just quite a dream for mot of us, if that will happen, I'll be very rich, remember that.
4755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What strategies do you use to make profits or to make your portfolio grow? on: July 28, 2020, 02:05:24 PM
Are you using a long-term strategy to make a percentage profit?
YES.

I am more comfortable in long term hold, less stress for me as long as I can find a good project I trust for long term.
There's a lot of FUD in the market especially if you are holding for long term, but as long as you do your research, no matter what will happen, you will also follow the popular word in crypto which is "HODL"... simple strategy but it's working for me.

or you'd rather jump from project to project..?

sharing your experience in the crypto industry will be highly appreciated here

4756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: July 28, 2020, 01:35:51 PM
Even if this fight will be held in other country, I think they will still get a big number of people who will watch the fight, no sports enthusiast would not know these two great fighters, so if it will not happen in US, I think Australia is also a good venue.

They need to have a gate entrance revenue and a good number of PPV to meet their target.

Pay per view will not reach it's expectation because of what our going through these days. But the whole world our still excited to watch this fight from there home. Only the promoter and their teams know how to get profit with this fight, let's leave to them the worry about that matter. at the end of the day, the only thing that matters for us is whos gonna win and take the title of a true heavyweight champion.

Promoter would not make this fight happen without a gate entrance, it's suppose to be a big fight but it will not be a big fight if their revenue is only coming from the PPV sales, and this fight might be the last between the two, so for the last time, Bob wants to make money from Wilder, assuming Fury would knock him out again.
4757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: July 28, 2020, 12:18:34 PM
They do need to abide into the protocol if they wont like to face up some issues because sports events would only proceed out on following a specific social distancing protocol.Of course they would surely focus on PPV sales instead.
Going to the venue wearing mask and you have to abide the social distancing role, I think you will lose your focus and instead you can't enjoy the game, it's better if you just by a PPV pass, enjoy at home and be safe from covid-19.
4758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: July 28, 2020, 11:30:12 AM

I'm also interested with that, it's alright if the exchange rate is not based on the standard market as long as you can withdraw in fiat instantly, of course they need to make money on that as well, so it's understandable. If you remember soon, please share it here, that would be helpful.

These are so-called hybrid casinos. They usually give the option of depositing in cryptocurrencies, which are immediately converted into fiat amounts.
One that currently comes to mind (although I’m sure I’ve seen more of them) is BitStarz:
https://www.bitstarz.com/btc-to-eur-exchanger

Thanks for the suggestion but I think I would not gamble with the site, this site has a bad reputation in the forum, it has a flagged as we can see in here.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=307265

and their scam accusation threads.

BTW, it strikes me, cashing out using online casino might be a good way to work around restrictions (if any) imposed by the country financial bodies on exchange operators.
I think what he meant was withdrawing crypto investment from a casino.. I like to know if there are casinos who gives you an option to withdraw your coins into fiat, because I've never seen one.

Yes, there are casinos that allow deposits in crypto and withdrawals in fiat. I can't remember exactly which one now but I can find it if you really want.
But, as far as I have seen, exchange rates are not very favorable. I’m not sure this is a good option for currency conversion.

4760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: July 28, 2020, 08:59:59 AM
So Lakers -4.5 is a good bet here, or would you prefer to take the moneyline bet?
Take that, Lakers will win in this game and they will cover that spread.
Seems high than the opening line but 3 vital players of the team might not play, so that's a bonus already.

Lakers moneyline is 1.52, but sure they are going to win as key players are not gonna play in this game, plus Leonard had an awful shooting recently.

If you play safe, that's a good one, try the price boost, it might increase a bit.
