4741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: A book about success and failure in crypto. on: November 19, 2019, 01:19:22 AM
I want to write up a book about what it takes to create a successful crypto in 2020, why great development is not enough and that your team needs funding, promoters, market makers, high profile exchange partners and digital marketing etc. The importance of
institutional investment and why the rich are needed to make a successful project.

Etherium and Tron will be examples of successful projects with their own strengths. Etherium on why funding is important, Tron for it's exceptional marketing. Dash and XMR will also get mentions.

Gulden will be the example used as a failed project with great development and non anon innovation. It was tough finding a project that is still doing development, only listed on 2 exchanges, A low marketcap, low volume with a largish working class (poor) community and nothing else going for it.

Just wanted to find out from the bitcointalk community if a book like this would be of interest to them.

What you will write actually is it the whole market  situation or you want to cover a selected alts here? If that so maybe you should pay an amount for certain interview of user of the alts you've  mentioned so that you will get a clear  inputs of the development happen on them for the past  years and by this  you can write a great book since it is been done thru research and not by just a single observation.

Gathering accurate data was difficult to do if the person to be interviewed was not meet personally. Most communications of these modern times were done through telegram or messenger chats. We really don't know how honest are they to provide us legit details, unless both parties will meet in person, or there will be open forum organized by a certain sector who will handle discussions for crypto at a specific community at your local place. Indeed, reliable books should be compiled with trusted ideas and nearly perfect articles to satisfy the potential reader's interest in crypto.

It's really hard but if you compare it with the history of data's gathered for sure you will get a nearer result for the result and maybe it's best to interview multiple people since it can help to get a strong basis on certain statement, doing a single interview for who tells expert will not going anywhere and for more clear insights maybe it's good to go  with the events and gather those people who have big contribution on crypto's space execute a several question and answer question to them.

4743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Keybase airdrop fake not pays on: November 18, 2019, 05:43:37 AM
I cannot understand that people are still waisting their time by taking part in different airdrops. I took part in more than 300 airdrops and one of them brought money, so in my opinion it does not worth the spend time.

Because  the  one you participated  is 100% scam that's why you  get nothing and also don't expect on anything regarding on airdrop but as you can see on keybase  there are so many people  claims that they receive there share's including my colleague and maybe it's worth to give a shot.

Today I received the airdrop, around 50USD! For what? For just downloading the app? This is huge, the biggest airdrop in the crypto history.
If you haven't participated yet, you can join by December 15th, so do not miss this huge opportunity again!.

If many people will register the total number of reward will reduce  and imagine in next following months if many people will register for sure  you will receive cents.
4744  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Crypto Marketet Is Dumping Drastically !! on: November 18, 2019, 04:35:06 AM
I still save a lot of tokens from the results of following the bounty program. There hasn't been a single token that increased from the beginning I saved them. Now it seems more difficult for a new token to rise to the surface and the price soared in the market. So I think it's no longer effective now to save a token for the long term.
That's why many hunters learned from this experienced they are now quickly dumped after receiving the token/coin.  Not letting the token being stucked and being forgotten. Hunters will get every opportunities to avoid being trapped and not being affected to any market dumped.
There's always volatility and if you understand how things works then you will survive to this industry.

Those case is freaking crazy since when you though the market  goes  up and suddenly it  dumps it can create  panics and actually I sold my tokens/coins for cheaper price  that's why I get less way back 2018 for that I learned a valuable lesson on not  to hold so much since it kills you deeply. That's why it's better to become a conservative holder right now so that we can earn on good opportunities and will not be left back when market crash.
4745  Economy / Economics / Re: Paypal Drops Pornhub Support, Pornhub Is Now Exploring Cryptocurrency Options on: November 18, 2019, 03:38:49 AM
Considering paypal has always been doing bad things for their customers and why people are looking a way out, there is no surprise that they stopped working with pornhub and I am 99% sure they will go bankrupt soon. Maybe in 5 years maybe in 10 years but paypal will be gone for sure, they can't sustain this horrible business model where they are doing something against all of their customers and still get away with it because they are the most common one we know.

Aren't there other payment methods? There are, which means the more people complain about them the more companies will start to offer other options and people will use those options eventually and paypal will be gone. The only good thing paypal is doing right now is ability to integrate on any website, when other payment solutions get to that level paypal will be gone.
Bolded part.

This is the main reason why they cant be easily be stepped out of the game. They've been mainly integrated by most sites marketplaces, freelancing sites, online services .
So its hard to think that they would be phased or crossed out anytime soon.

We cant predict the future but as long fiat do exist then im pretty sure that Paypal would still exist still for more longer years. We cant think off for another payment system
other than crypto which we know it isn't been fully adopted yet but who knows if we do come to that point.

Paypal became the most convenient payment choice of many people because of its global system which is accepted by a lot of online shopping sites, banks, and other businessmen such as pornhub. Pornhub is just one of the many. It is indeed convenient. We should not deny that. I have used Paypal during the days when my employer was based on another country. But with the coming of crypto, I think it is more convenient to use Bitcoin or altcoins instead. Paypal money transfer imposes higher fees. Using crypto is much cheaper now.

The only annoys me for using paypal is the fee since they take out huge percentage when we do a transaction and maybe pornhub see that that's why maybe they will find a good option so that they can save from transaction fee's together to their costumers in more convenient manner and crypto is a good option really for this since they can select on which is the best since there are crypto like xrp who offer less fee and fast.
4746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: November 18, 2019, 03:12:07 AM
Why Kawhi doesn't play again during the match with Atlanta Hawk? I know his injured and still has sore on his knee but based on report it was only a minor one. Good thing is Paul George made an outstanding record of 37 points on his first 20 minutes and got helped by bench players Williams and Robinson combining 46 points.

Anyway their next game is OKC and hoping Leonard will play this time.

Saving there ass on big plays that's why you can see kawhi often play since they are reserving his energy on playoffs and also you can read the last reports here https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/kawhi-leonard-injury-update-clippers-star-out-second-straight-game-due-to-knee-contusion-listed-day-to-day/ and here https://www.ocregister.com/2019/11/16/clippers-kawhi-leonard-sits-out-against-atlanta-hawks/ and Hopefully he will play on OKC since for sure many people want to see him play.

4748  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] 💥Boublr.com | Signature Campaign | Member+ 💥 on: November 17, 2019, 03:06:09 PM
i on the other hand, see it in another way, i don't know if it is scam or not but i see that when a signature campaign finally comes out that is not managed by Hhampuz or yahoo62278 which unfortunately has a monopoly here, users who wear their signature do everything to discredit the manager by filling it with red trust and threatening the same thing for the eventual participants, compliments to the closed group and to the free opinion

Monopoly of? Are you serious? Try to see the content and you will find out that this is a Ponzi scheme men and no one will ever handle that and better you should do a research before putting some conclusion since it will save innocence from the danger offered by this kind of schemes. Remember it's not about who manage the campaign it's about what the platform offered since if the offer can risk the majority then it's bad and must be taken down.
4749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling on: November 17, 2019, 02:20:52 PM
I have also break from gambling for the past year, even though I have been gambling for a long time. but I gambled due to knowing bitcoin, gambling using bitcoin was very fun, I break because Directbet was closed. but on the other hand, I like to break from gambling, because I can be more effective at doing something more positive than just gambling.

This means that you are now committed to never entering a gambling site again. If it's really good and make your life much better, go ahead.
Because I understand very well how difficult it is for someone to stop playing on a gambling site. Even though he has often won or lost.Have you had the chance to win a large amount during your gambling?

Actually just it's not hard to quit on gambling if you are committed to something or have a will to stop this addictive tantrums and I actually than that since before I used to bet everyday on my favorite teams on sports book and I manage to leave that for almost a year without betting on those but actually I'm broke those streak this month since the basketball is getting more exciting and been betting on some good teams this days  Grin.
4750  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins or Bitcoin? on: November 17, 2019, 01:42:02 PM
I like to hodl altcoins because it is cheaper and you can have many of it so that a little move up in price, you are making huge difference in your hodling. I look for valuable coins though not really easy to determine.
Cheaper and holding it more than bitcoin won't guarantee you will earn profit from that. I ever buy an altcoin which i think promising, but in few months later it turned to shit token and almost down to 1 sat, which make my investment value dropped so deep.
Since bitcoin halving will come soon, people would prefer to buy and hold bitcoin rathee than altcoin
I also experienced the same thing that is the reason why I just stick with bitcoin but I never underestimate the power of altcoins because I know that there are still some of them that is worth it unlike other coins. It's just that I just learned from my mistake and it makes me hard to trust other coins, i'll also do the same thing because I know that bitcoin can give me a lot of benefits and opportunities in the future. Well you can't also blame me because we have different preferences and sometimes the decision that we are making depends on our past experiences. I'll always prefer to hold bitcoin because I know it's capabilities and potentialities.

I encounter this also that's why I always scan on which of them is worth or not but for now I really didn't know on which alt is good since most of them presents a good backgrounds but turn shit in the end and I lost a huge amount of money before since the coins I hold suddenly dump. And also we cannot blame anyone on it's decision since we provably get enough for those sad events and want to stick on the strongest since the probability to earn is so high.
4751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrencies to Invest in 2020 on: November 17, 2019, 12:44:31 PM
Of cos top coins are the way to go, bitcoin and litecoin will bring wow to the face of many in 2020 and i am bullish on few new projects as well and they might be able to make it to top altcoins too
Where can you source from, if bitcoin and litecoin will wow many people in 2020? , I see you are very sure that bitcoin and litecoin will be very good coins next year, so I ask about the news sources of both coins.

Don't believe too much with words without a clear source at this time because everyone is confused about whether to continue investing or not in the next year. This is very chaotic for me and might get worse next year with this situation.

Right especially if we are talking about shitcoins but actually we are into bitcoins discussion right now and you should see this   https://medium.com/fitzner-blockchain-consulting/bitcoin-halving-price-effects-and-historical-relevance-b63458216d97  to determine for yourself how great the halving can possibly brought the price up and if you always think negative provably you will miss this opportunity to earn more money.
4752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties on: November 16, 2019, 01:37:41 PM
Wish to predict on which is best to join with but unfortunately it's hard to tell on which is good or bad among them since almost all campaigns running right now is not paying although there are few who pays but the value in $ is not similar to the provided ICO price and end up we get nothing since the token rewards have no value. That's why it's better to take bounties as un serious business and don't assume to much.
4753  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Curious for places for trading Crypto on: November 16, 2019, 01:06:58 PM
If you are looking a exchange for your trades don't look at coinmarketcap since you maybe fooled on fake volumes exchange where it fooled many people and they are been stuck there. I suggest to trade on binance, okex and kraken since they are reliable exchange to go on.

And also see this guide maybe it can help you became informative on how to trade https://www.mycryptopedia.com/the-ultimate-beginners-guide-to-trading-cryptocurrency/
4754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin could reach $1,000 in a couple of years from now on: November 16, 2019, 12:10:46 PM
i totally agree with this man, i have also been quite positive about LTC lately. i have been buying my ass off any chance i can get since it went under 80
i think its only gotten stronger since Charlie lee stepped back too
The only thing with LTC is just it's PoW, new tech could come at anytime, or some sort of asicboost for LTC, and we could see alot more miner sell pressure Sad
1000$? i dont think so, but 250$ for sure by 2020 imo

I also entered but actually before it reached $80, so I was very happy when $300 came. I still held on because I wanted it to be $500 and I still have hopes now, more than disappointment since I would never have sold anyway.

I still add every now and then, but not buying my ass off. Bitcoin will always be the big choice, no matter how much I actually do like LTC;)

Well you lose your possible profit on the past volatility since there so many upside down happened and provably there are so many people earned with it but I cannot blame you to uphold since maybe you are at lose if I'm not wrong if you sale it these days. Maybe in future if good things maybe we can see it reach to 300$ up to 1000$ each .

And also better to ride on with ETH since the probability to get profit is still high and the price is so cheap these days.
4755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: November 16, 2019, 11:36:54 AM
I like to gamble with crypto more than Fiat I like to stay at home rather than go out hang out with friends or whatever.
So I find it more efficient for me to gamble in crypto since I could do it at home rather than gambling with Fiat where I need to finds some place to gamble or find a person who would bet against me.

Although there is not much difference in fact, depositing with crypto has a number of advantages. Of course, anonymity comes first. Some countries have some legal restrictions on gambling. Cryptocurrencies makes it easy to overcome.

That would be the disadvantage upon betting Fiat since there is so many restrictions and provably we will get compromise since it's so hassle to use that option, and I prefer to bet on crypto since as you said the anonymity and convenience is a great advantage since we will feel at ease upon depositing and playing.

Nobody likes that, its adding insult to injury because altcoins have already suffered a lot and yet there was no sign of recovery yet.
We can't do about it if people loss their confidence on altcoins because in general the market is really struggling,  just like in the past, this will be over sooner or later and the market will begin to look green again.

Who wants it? All of us hate to see those dumps keeps coming these days and I don't know if we will experience it on December since if those dumps will still occur I think it will tell the phase of the game on next year but hopefully the halving is the counter attack for those downwards since I still believe it is the big thing in crypto but I really hope we can see a green on our screen in halving season.
4757  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitgoin is going to moon 1.5.2021 it will hit 236K on: November 15, 2019, 12:28:59 PM
whats ur crazy prediction for near future guys?
i say 16.6-20k tis year,
next year 35-66k
in 2 years 236K

short term:
https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BTCUSD/5C0E8dAy-2-golden-crosses-on-dailly-withing-a-year/

long term
https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BTCUSD/SBqOc6b2-BTC-will-resume-bull-trend-and-TP-266K/

I'd like to be moderate on all my predictions, I don't want to be disappointed when the reality steps in so I'll just go for $12k before the end of the year or close to that, we already have a two year profit drought and lost of profit, we are hoping that 2020 is very much different from that we have in the last two years, so we can prove to hew people coming in that their decision is right and on time.

I'm little bit doubting if we can see a high price this year and 12k$ is reasonable at the end of this year since it's a near price as per TA is concern and for sure I will wait if there's more dip coming these year untill at the end of the quarter in preparation for the upcoming halving since provably we will experience a great pump but I can't imagine if we will go to 66k$ since it's pretty far and hard to reach.
4758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please help us understand your priorities when investing in Crypto on: November 15, 2019, 10:02:18 AM
I would not fill the form, but I am more than glad to share my opinion here. The first priority is the product that should function and generate profit. Secondly, there should be a well written whitepaper and roadmap with real people on board and big social media communities. A top 10 IEO is a very good bonus  Wink
Profits is what ultimately matters. The main reason behind investing in digital assets is to earn some   handsome amount of money from them in short duration. Whitepapers and other such formalities can be faked by scammers with ease. For choosing right project, I would suggest going for the old ones. They have shown us what they are capable of, leaving no room for anymore doubts. This will also save time.

Agree! Since going on new is so risky right now and we know the reputation of new ICO is so sketchy that's why it's truly best to look for old coin right now because they got the good standings and high probabilities to pump when alt season came. It's very important to know the status of the current situation since there are so many scam project which pretend to be a legit and it's a huge throw out for our money if we let them hand our hard earned so best to choose the right for this investment venture.
4759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Counted Or Estimate All Your Losses And.... on: November 15, 2019, 09:27:02 AM
Some people are losing $100 daily or $200 a week or $500 a week how about you
Have you counted or estimate all your losses and thought what all your losses could you buy, do you sometimes stop and think on all of this.
I'm not a big gambler but I estimate I could already buy a good class mountain bike with all my losses, how about you?
Actually I even try to count all my losses and debts just because of gambling and I am pretty amazed that I have just throw a lot of money just to supply my personal needs in order to gamble and go to the casino to play poker, roulette or even baccarat. If I will count all of my losses maybe I can buy my dream car and motor bike because of the very large amount that I have been lose. But that's okay because all of the money that I intent to lose is all the money I can earn in just a little time so no disappointments about that.

I count my betting stats even since then and actually I don't feel anything on it since for me it's different time not in bulk and I actually enjoy the game but those losses is not big since I'm not an addicted gambler which bets huge amount, I'm controlling myself since I didn't take those games seriously. and my personal favorite is poker and betting on sportsbook since I'm a huge fan of NBA.
