4741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance upcoming delisting on: July 14, 2020, 11:18:19 PM
This should serve as a big warning to the project team that they are really lagging behind, binance team will only delist coins that aren't that active anymore, lacking in area like liquidity, volume and marketcap, it's not the end but it's left for the project team

That's correct, inactive projects would affect the reputation of the business too, as much as possible Binance are getting rid of non active projects while giving a room for the new coins which has potential. When they will get delisted in Binance exchange, they already loss the reputation and the market as well and its price will be affected heavily as it's expected that people will dump.

And I think projects should also take that in consideration when they coins/tokens get listed on Binance. If they have low volume or the price really suffers, then chances are that they are going to be removed so they should be prepared for that and not blame Binance if they got delisted.

LUN (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/lunyr/) currently at $0.983153 USD per token, but I doubt it could still maintain that price when out in Binance, hopefully it would not be worthless and Huobi Global here will pick up that loss volume.

This is one case why I said the above, they are enjoying a good price, but if they got delisted can they maintain it? I highly doubt as well. As investors might move to the next big coins. Unless the project is really solid, devs are active and it has gain the support of the community.
4742  Economy / Economics / Re: Where Markets are Still Free on: July 14, 2020, 10:21:06 PM
As said by the article, bitcoin and gold are free markets. And this should be taken as an advantage by small investors like me and you. Before the giant financing companies gets to bitcoin, we have it.

I think Gold has been taken advantage by manipulators already as it has been in the market for many years now. As compare to bitcoin which is still very young and everyone can join despite the price getting almost on the 5 digits.

They'll create such a boost to the market if ever they start announcing their interest and venture to bitcoin. While they are not yet here - most of them or probably they were already here but chose not to announce, get some bitcoins and hold it as early as today.

I'm under the impression that there are a lot of institutional money already in the bitcoin market. I believed in started in 2017 prior to the bull run with CME and CBoE open their bitcoin future trading and then we all know that others have follow. And then we have investors with deep pockets hiring hedge fund managers to trade for them. And that's why we have seen banks offering this services as well. But there are still leg room for us average Joe to invest while we can. It doesn't mean buy 1 whole bitcoin, but slowly we can accumulate small portions.
4743  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade by yourself on: July 14, 2020, 10:06:48 PM
I don't believe subscribing for signals is wrong, it doesn't stops you from learning and growing, you learn daily and gather experience from what you see happening in the market. I don't think you can just rush into trading as a newbie without seeking for advice or help from an expert, so as not to lose your capital.

But the thing with this trading signal group is that they don't offer any analysis, so how can you learn from them? They will just tell you to buy this and that, they might offer you graphs and something, but at the end of the day you still need to research and learn everything by yourself.

Of course, you don't need to rush, but some old school and traditional crypto traders that I know in the last 3-4 years didn't join any trading groups, they learn everything by themselves, by getting their hands dirty in the beginning and learn thru experience. Most of them suffered a loss in the beginning, but they didn't quit and educate themselves and didn't commit the same mistakes.
4744  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think the price of Bitcoin can exceed 10 thousand dollars at the present on: July 14, 2020, 09:34:00 PM
No, BTC doesn't really look that strong atm in order to be breaking $10k currently because nobody's gone insane to bet on anything except on their own lives in order to save the money and live a good life which won't be possible in future due to the fact that this pandemic has left us with almost nothing and has the potential to make a lot of people die due to starvation.

Exactly, nobody is willing to pull any big buy order to really create this sort of FOMO and drama and make some noise in the market.

These reasons are enough for BTC not to reach $10k as of now because nobody's investing, and it's a huge achievement for BTC to even remain close to $10k these days while the whole stock market crisis is yet to recover, but I see BTC to remain stable at this price for many more months to come.

We are still in this pandemic mode, nobody is investing but it is good that we there are strong support at $9k. I think some days ago the price went into $9400-$9500 but it wasn't enough. No momentum was build around it thats why the price didn't go to $10k.
4745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TikTok is a new social media source for promoting cryptocurrencies? on: July 13, 2020, 10:40:15 PM
I don't know if you guys heard that TikTok apps is allegedly being used as a camouflaged by Chinese government as a spy tool or apps, and even USA and India have banned it already, so just be careful if you are going to used this.

As far as using it as a promotional tool, of course everyone can do it. But then again it will be used for all the wrong reason and you might find this as no different from one of the most hated and fraudulent practice, a pump and dump trading signal group.
4746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Who should Ryan Garcia fight? on: July 13, 2020, 10:25:56 PM
I'm also inclined that indeed this fight is a set-up for Garcia for that big fight in the near future. I just can't understand why Garcia kept on whining on why he has not gotten that big money fights, have they not communicating?

When it comes to betting, i'm sure Garcia would be the huge favorite here and as i've said that if the odds is 10x for Campbell then still i would bet for the later  Grin. In boxing, there is no such thing as an easy fight and the probability of an upset is always there and i love to gamble for that lol.

That's for sure you're taking the risk even though the fight has no assurance for the choosen boxer. But based on your analysis mate, I think it's convincing since you're pertaining to Garcia as the most in demand. Am not really used to betting with boxing because I only loved to watch the most interesting fight of best fighters like pacman.

Pacman is on the sunset of his career now mate and if you really a fan of this sweet science of boxing you will be interested on the new faces of boxing like Ryan Garcia, Stevenson and many others, you just have to follow each of them to get an update.

Or better way to put it, Maybe Ryan Garcia could be the next Pacman for all we know.

With regards to betting on boxing, though a slim probability but it is not always a sure win for the favorite on the bookies, an upset also happens and that's where the underdog bettors won some substantial amount of money, small bet high winnings, but as i have said, it seldom happens but frequently among the Pinoy boxers  Smiley.

The last great upset is AJ vs Ruiz I,  that's another good lesson for gamblers to really bet on the underdogs because we really don't know what's going to happen. It could be one punch that will change the complexion of the fight, or complete domination of the underdogs, like Ruiz did to AJ or Pacman did to Marco Antonio Barrera in their first fight also.
4747  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hashrate vs price chart on: July 13, 2020, 10:09:11 PM
Hi.

I was looking at the hashrate vs price chart and I am wondering if there actually is any correlation between those two. If hashrate drops significantly do you think it would affect BTC price at all?

You just have to look at the recent crash this March, and you will see that there are correlations. When the price goes down hard, the hash rate also decline. I think you can start your investigations from there.

In my opinion, even tho halving just occurred we should expect hashrate to be lower, we can still see it is stable, so I guess not so many miners closed their mining farms.
It is expected though that some mining farms have closed already, because it's either they don't have the new mining gear and obviously it will be hard for them as there are no profits to be made.

Do you think some of them are currently mining with loss? and if so, should we expect hashrate to drop soon?

I think the exodus has stopped already. On the contrary, I believed that there could be new players who wanted to join and enter the picture after this halving. So when some door closes, another one open.
4748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Upgrade Stole My Bitcoin on: July 13, 2020, 09:34:56 PM
Most likely he fell for a fake Electrum. Remember that a few days ago, Electrum just upgraded and release a new version 4.0.1. So we don't know where he the OP gets the message, maybe in an email because base on my experienced, there are no message in ver 3.3.8 that you need to upgrade to 4.0.1. But if you know that they have a new release, you have to manually update the version by yourself, download the latest and then verify. And this is where the OP might have fallen, he got a message not from the official Electrum, but from a cyber criminal.
4749  Economy / Speculation / Re: TA indicates a bull run is coming on: July 13, 2020, 01:32:31 PM
How about bitcoin's dominance slowly declining though? Is this another indication that investors are shifting to altcoin market now? IF this is the case then we might see this trend continues and that the supposedly bull run is not going to come as expected?

And we also have to understand where is the money will come as well. We are still in the pandemic and there are reports surfacing already that a second wave is imminent. And this may cause people to panic again, cash out or simply hold their fiat and not invest at all until everything settle down again.
4750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Opinion Needed] What do you want to see in a gambling site review? || 2 on: July 13, 2020, 12:42:09 PM
I initially thought that you are going to build a gambling review website? No?

Anyhow, you have taken down notes already and I would agree that it is good gauge for a gambling review sites. And those structures will come in handy if ever you build the website and please let the gamblers know so that we can give you constructive criticism.
4751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin market continues to gain momentum on: July 13, 2020, 12:23:39 PM
Perhaps the Binance-IEO coins will also be a good pump this season!
There's hope for some old coins too! Like KMD or AION... They have fallen in price very hard, but they are still good projects!
Although I agree that ALL the altcoins, as in 2017, will not pump!

Binance IEO launchpad has been pumping very hard, but in the initial run after that, it down trend as well. And as far as I can remember, even they delisted some of these coins already.

Of course some old coins could be pump as well, specially if the projects have been active during the bear market. There are a good chances that only some coins, specially in the top 10-20 will have a good price increase once there is a altcoin bull run this year or the coming years.
4752  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Sudoku wallet on: July 12, 2020, 11:54:50 PM
Already solved, please check out your email.

No, my problem is not solved. I still haven't got my bitcoins. Support hasn't responded to me for 4 days.

I've offered 3 refund options. I don't like the option of another mixing and sending you new coins. I have no confidence in your mixer.

I recommend other users to refrain from using sudoku wallet!

We don't have access to your coins, only you owns your private keys.
Please sweep them to your wallet.

That is their reply on their thread.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5194344.120

I hope the sudoku staff will clarify themselves on this thread as well.
If they can't give good answers here, then, people should be aware this kind of issue in sudoku.
This is alarming for those clients who are trusting big amount of money to them.

Yes, they say that it has been resolved, but it looks like the OP hasn't received the mix coins.

They really need to go here and answer the OP, so that they can be heard as well. They just said it's on the OP's ball right now but it seems that is not the case. And with that said, the doubt on sudoku wallet as legitimate service is still up in the air.
4753  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ICObench PLATFORM WARNING on: July 12, 2020, 11:36:40 PM
I can't help but think that somehow all crypto community is kinda responsible for this. Now hear me out.
At some point, their rating has became some sort of a "legitimacy" standard, and as such, projects were paying top dollar to get it as close to 5 as possible.
This doesn't excuse them tho, i'm just saying, if we didn't put such a merit into it, it wouldn't have been that sucessful

It's because they are one of the earliest who provided this kind of services, and as prime movers, they have gain this "legitimacy" standard as you have said. That's why they are the go to services specially during the ICO hype and madness and every is pouring top dollars and the people behind are making tons of money.

So I will say that crypto community is not responsible, it's just the circumstance that time. Or I can say that we don't have a choice but to go to ICOBench.

The domain has expired already and it will be interesting if they are going to renew it or not. Or if someone are willing to buy the domain name with bad reputation from crypto community. Or they can reinvent themselves again, so we will see.
4754  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 20-Year-Old Robinhood Customer Dies By Suicide After Seeing A $730,000 Negative on: July 12, 2020, 11:23:14 PM
Can Robinhood though has some liability here? It seems that the victim saw negative balance but the article it is just temporary but this could have triggered everything. If Robinhood display it real-time, this could have been avoided?

YES! I believe it should be on Robinhood. They took the risk of giving an unemployed 20 year old "almost a million dollars" in leverage, that could not pay the negative $730,000.

damn the kid just decide to kill himself while not really a real negative balance?   not familiar with robinhood but if they can be sued for this tragic death, it would help the future platforms to also follow a standard.

the kid started trading at this early years of his life, he could be learning a lot and will likely be a pro before 25. but that wouldn't happen now because of the gui that robinhood provided.

This is how I see things here, there is some liability on the part of Robinhood and I'm sure they know this sort of short comings or some error that this platform has provided. I for now things that this is how they designed their system in the first place.

This kid has really a bright future, there's a lot of "If's and "could have" if he grow and become a veteran trader, sadly it was cut short and it's really a tragedy.
4755  Economy / Economics / Re: What in the world is AC.T ? Watch youtube vid to see one of the ways it can help on: July 12, 2020, 04:00:33 PM
I would suggest starting this up in altcoin or service sections, that way you could get more attention. This is the economics section where we talk about economics at large and not products, and looking at AC.T it looks like it is a product and it has nothing to do with economics at large, it is a product related to economics for sure but yet again it is just a product.

Right, I think altcoin will be a perfect fit for the OP's project. And maybe someone are willing to invest on it. If the OP is promoting this on this board, chances are you won't get any investors because for me this has nothing to do with economics issues that we need to discuss it.

If you start a topic at service section and explain much better what AC.T is and what you want from people, you could definitely get a better round about from people and at least a decent feedback. This is just not the place for this and all the attention you will get would be wrong attention and wouldn't really help you out at all, maybe a bit but definitely negative with other ones combined into that.

And perhaps he can also meet someone with similar ideas, maybe collaborate to get this project going and of course getting some investors are I have said. Goodluck to the OP because it seems he is aggressively pushing for this project to develop and take off.
4756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON 4.0: Boom or Bust? on: July 12, 2020, 12:51:51 PM
i did not hear before about Tron version 4.0 but i play some games on trx and i must say that it is fine working with it , not sure if it would be better then it already is (for me ) .
but with justin i aspect it to be more shouting then deliver so , let's see

Of course, it is Justin playing with us again with his Tron version 4.0 but we all know that this is just a hype project. And it was supposed to be scheduled to be released last July 7.

But there are no significant movement, although the price resistance of $0.017 has been overcome but just barely as the price currently is $0.018, so it's almost no movement at all.
4757  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's going on? on: July 12, 2020, 12:28:43 PM
usually Big traders sell and buy Bitcoin. Because this business is fluctuating through both big and small, I think it means that there is price movement and it is completely under control. We have to be more careful because if we get stuck, our funds will be lost, It's work carefully.

To be honest, I can't understand what you are saying here. If you are talking about business talking bitcoin as payment, then obviously they have to look at how it moves or fluctuates and that is the big risk they have to take specially if the price goes down because it means they have loss their capital from that sell.

For the current situation, others says it's boring because the market is moving sideways. But this could be a buy signal and we may see another break out run starting next month. The market will not stay stagnant for this long, it has to move at some point.
4758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if cryptocurrency on: July 12, 2020, 11:34:22 AM
I have been thinking if cryptocurrency projects should come back as it was in the early 2016 to 2017 as many of us came into cryptocurrency industry the time it has been made visible to many people, because that early 2016 a lot of people don't really have the knowledge and how it works that time, what do you think that will happen if those days should come back in the crypto phase?

As much as we love to see crypto coming back similar to the huge hype around 2017 culminating to a new all time high for most of the coins, I don't think we can relived that glory days.

(1) Investors now have matured already, they don't just pour their money to a project without doing any proper research
(2) There are still scam projects, legit projects are affected by the stigma
(3) Projects now doesn't offer anything new, it's just a copy cat of previous projects
(4) Hacks are all over, if you don't know how to protect your assets then you won't gonna stay long in this game

That's some of the factors that I think will not bring back the hype around 2017. And if will take some time before we can see a altcoin bull run. Everything is different now.
4759  Economy / Speculation / Re: $BTC Balance on Exchanges on: July 11, 2020, 11:48:54 PM
One thing is for sure. If Bitcoin holders are afraid that BTC will crash again back to $6,000, $3,000 or even print a price chart that indicates it has more room to downtrend, you will definitely see more BTC in exchanges.

But that is not the case.

I believe, just like I am, Bitcoin has enough crashing: a long bear market with three major crashes. The last one was a support tester with that panic selling that briefly brought the price to $3,000-level. Plus of course, the halving. It does not compute if there is any future to cryptocurrencies, the price will crash to below mining profits again.

TLDR; It's bullish.

Anyway, I'm speculating we will see more btc in exchanges once the price reaches ATH at $20,000.  Shocked

More likely if we see bitcoin price touches five digits again, more will FOMO and we all know that it could be one of the main drivers for speculators to get in again. We seen crashes this year already due to the pandemic so I doubt we will go on that levels again.

Let's see if this is a bullish indicator, or at least at indicator that worth to be taken seriously.  Investors and Traders keeping their bitcoin in a wallet that they have total control and when bitcoin goes on a massive bull run, just sit back and watch their investments grow.
4760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Back then and Now, lesson learnt on: July 11, 2020, 11:36:19 PM
Everyone thought it was that easy to make money by mining new coins, they thought they can get rich fast because many lose opportunities when Bitcoin and litecoin was easy to mine, what they don't know is scammers are in the game now, it's hard to mine a new coin that will survive nowadays
There are a lot of people, who think that it is easy to earn profit from mining. If you can be enough patient, you can get profit from mining, but it will not so quick money as think. But it is not easy as expected, before everything you need to have good knowledge about that and also great equipment. Scammers are also a huge problem, but more than that l think it is more important to choose coin for mining. That is why coin which useless can be wasting time for mining.

I almost fell for this mining and all the money that you are going to earn in the past. Good thing is that I research everything and I said that this is no longer profitable and it's really hard to earn. And if you are going to get some profits, it is still miserable as compare to the investments and initial capital that you are going to pour in, not good.

But majority of newbies are falling for the trap and not doing some proper investigations and simply believed that crypto mining is a money making machine, it is not.
