Idk why but most of these scamming schemes have broken English, it's biggest red flag one can have.

Oh so it's because of Charles ponzi, I always wondered from where 'ponzi scheme' came from.

I search Google (of course with ads disabled, just disabling ads can save you from many phishing sites), Going from official website and you can find official websites from their tg/discords.. see where I'm going? It's a rabbit hole and everything can be compromised.

You can try hive ( https://hive.blog), steemit — you (may) get paid. Good articles, arts, painting, tutorials tend to do well.

You get freedom in your profile settings, can post images, no few minutes barrier between comments. But eventually you get habitual to your account and feels like everyday thing.

Your post is fine, and has a valid point (even if people react negatively, it's ok). Just don't ask for merits, it's much like upvotes on Reddit, if you say 'pls upvote', people will flag you instead even if your content was good. It's just some psychological thing, I guess.

Honestly, don't feel to bad about it. Whatever bitcoin's value was at that time in 2011, chances are, you would've probably sold when bitcoin doubled/tripled/quadrupled/etc. It's easy to assume that there were a lot of people back then that probably wasn't bullish, or even thought that it would even reach $100(what more $19,800?).
Also, hey. It's not too late!
I mean he remembered he had some Bitcoin in 2017, it was pretty decent amount even then.

I use etherscan, if I have to check value of my tokens I just use deltabalances, it shows estimated value of all tokens instead of just cmc listed ones.
I thought deltablances show value of tokens wrt forkdelta, etherdelta and IDEX are there added exchanges? Yes, it shows value according to those dexes, while etherscan and such show according to cmc. Thing is, cmc listings takes a while, but on fd/ed tokens are traded as soon as they are unlocked and deltabalances shows you prices right away.

I tried binance dex but didn't quite get a hang of it The seed it asks is of binance dex only right and not of your own wallet so I assume it should be safe.
Yes, it is true that you can create a new wallet or use an old wallet created in Binance Dex. In this case, you will not be asked for the seed, but if you want to trade directly from your wallet like a Trust wallet or Atomic wallet, Binance will request the seed for this wallet .Anyway, I tried it, put the seed, and trade in Binance Dex safely and without any wallet problems. I tried it with coinomi a while back, it didn't ask for seed just asked me to connect with wallet (hoping it doesn't take seed this way). I don't find writing seed anywhere online safe.

Truly speaking it's much easier to scam Indians in the name of making them rich within a few hours or days with bitcoin. We are very well aware that India boasts a lot of scammers in the name of cryptocurrency enthusiasts. Bitcoin in India has easily become a trading mechanism and a scammer's tool to rob the poor idiots money out of their pocket. The initiative taken up by you for the community is quite good, but it all lies with the population and how well they got to know about the technology and ways of scamming instead of trading useless shitcoins in exchanges. Our large percentage of moron population (even the educated ones) doesn't really understand the technology behind bitcoin and would start trading BTC with other alts overnight. All they need is a 2x profits or some nonsense after they wake up in the morning. On top of that, if we (the forum users or someone who is pretty much knowledgeable in crypto than the morons) come out of the safer zone and start calling ourselves as a cryptocurrency enthusiast and if we hold btc or alts then we have a much higher probability of getting robbed all of a sudden for $10-$20. As of now even after 3 years of completely venturing into cryptocurrency space, learning the tech behind them and owning a micro fraction of bitcoin only 2 of my real life friends got to know that I am involved in bitcoin. One of them has unknowingly linked me to a scammer last week who tried to rob $20 worth of bitcoin from me through a Ponzi MLM crypto scam. It's quite easier to get scammed and on the other hand to scam the moron population if you don't know what you are doing. The population is solely responsible for being scammed and it doesn't have anything to do with the fraudsters involved in the scam. If we are safe, then probability of losing money is lot more less. The clown "Kumar Gaurav" was controlling the funds through a web wallet and this proves his knowledge towards security of storing the bitcoin. As far as a common Indian is concerned, having a hardware wallet alone wouldn't save you from being scammed. We should agree to the fact that we are driven towards free money and get rich quick schemes without gaining proper knowledge on any of them and until this core problem of knowledge doesn't get rectified it would be easier and easier for scammers to scam the Indian population. DON'T TEACH THE POPULATION ABOUT BITCOIN TRADING RATHER TEACH THEM ABOUT THE TECHNOLOGY AND SECURITY BEHIND BITCOINThis is more than enough to save each and every one from being scammed! The words you used are quite strong mate, sometimes people get scammed just out of mishap. Don't be so judgemental.

That's wash trading, literally every cex does that. Your best bet to sell is via market order, you might not get the rate you were looking for but you will be able sell.

Imo, ripple and stellar are two cryptos which can help in crypto adoption in regular world. I have never used it but I can see the potential it has.

Some of you seem to miss the point. I know it can be done already I just mean it could be more convenient.
If you ever used discord you would know what I'm talking about. Every sub channels are just on the sidebar yet if you ever wanted to link t to someone, you just need to write few words after the hash and done.

What do you want? Patrol page, I guess. There is solution for you and you can modify the following with the boardid you want: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;boards=1 Your own post. There is solution too but I think it is not a real time update page (maybe it is updated each 7 days). https://bitcointalk.org/gettopics.php?user=1292764&board=39.0&posts
Changes: - user= your userid
- board = boardid you are interested in
If what you want is simply a direction to a specific board, there is: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=24.0You have to remember that code, and boardid, and it is inconvenient, so why not simply click on the board's display name on the home page of the forum? It is simpler and more user-friendly. Honestly, I don't they you can and want to remember boardids. A last but very simply method is: Bookmark your interested boards. Why not do that?
Check more if you are interested in more hidden things you have not known of: Hidden pages/ features on the forumYes, but all that could be done more conveniently. It could help, even say typing for board_name board "services board" should have eventually had an anchor link to the board but I guess it's not that priority.

Although a wrong board, I'll give few things that I have learned about bounties over last couple years. 1) Most Ico/ieo bounties are usually trash 2) The bounties which require most work usually are the best (translation/content/signature). Most people go for social media bounties as it's easy to farm accounts there, that's why the pay is trash. 2) if you want to make surefire money with bounties, work hard on ranking up your account and do bounties in services board. 3) if ico/ieo gives huge bonus, it will likely close it's doors soon. 4) avoid bounties which has annonymous teams. 5) Whatver project you work for, always check team work history on LinkedIn.
|
|
|
For example, you write , it automatically hyperlinks the board mentioned. Guess it would be handy, as of right now we have to find/seach and copy link manually. What you think?
