4761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE on: June 10, 2018, 09:38:29 AM
With ripple at the current price of 67c do you think its worth investing in it or not?

Do you belive it will increase in price in the near future?

Yes, XRP is a great coin. It is as close as anything in crypto to real-world adoption. Historically, price rises have been sudden and dramatic, followed by a quick correction - mainly due to the overheated South Korean market. A good coin though, yes.
4762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto can built my future? on: June 10, 2018, 08:44:19 AM
I want involve this sector fulltime. But is their any ensurity of better future?

Crypto definitely has a bright future. The markets are still young, which means there is definitely huge potential to make this a full-time occupation, but with this goes a huge level of risk as well. Nothing in crypto is certain, and prices are volatile. It is almost as easy to lose money as to make it. The most important thing I think is to learn as much as you can before you decide to jump in.
4763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC system at some program! on: June 09, 2018, 04:30:25 PM
what is the function of kyc system .. will there be any problems or risks that we have after we send kyc on a program?
- is there any possibility of misuse of our data on certain things..or what about the action of prohibiting the law on our data?
-do we have to be more careful in following a program that requires a kyc system?

Yes there is risk and yes you have to be careful.
A lot of legitimate projects are now asking for KYC information because they don't want to fall foul of AML laws. Unfortunately some scam projects will also ask for KYC, so you do have to be very very careful. This is valuable information, and you need to be sensible to limit the possibility of it falling into criminal hands.
4764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will alts crash again ? on: June 09, 2018, 11:32:04 AM
Will altcoins crash again ?

An old thread, but this doesn't matter - the answer is yes. And it is yes for all coins, irrespective of the merits of the particular project. The whole market will rise again and crash again and rise again. This will continue until it achieves real maturity. Crypto has been going for some years now, but we are still in the early stages. We all know that the market is volatile, and this isn't going to stop any time soon.
4765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH VS EOS on: June 09, 2018, 11:14:18 AM
Recently, bitcointalk saw the most posts discussing EOS and ETH. EOS was born to challenge ETH. Do you agree with this statement? What are they fighting for? Technology or speed? Or is it the dominance of the cryptocurrency world? Friends, come here to talk about your thoughts and knowledge!

Yes, they are potential competitors, but I think it is very early to be talking about them fighting for dominance as the market as a whole is so immature.

ETH does have a huge first mover advantage, and current market dominance for smart contracts. But the key point I think is that even ETH is used almost exclusively as an ICO platform at present, when smart contracts have the potential to utterly transform day-to-day life, by automating so many menial repetitive tasks.
4766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Cryptos are the future why are we in the RED? on: June 08, 2018, 08:47:24 AM
Why?

Because prices can't go up every day. If that ever starts to happen, then the market over-reaches itself and we see a big correction.

You need to look longer-term. If we say that cryptos are the future, we mean the future as in a few years down the line, not the future as in five minutes from now.

Zoom out on the charts to see the longer-term upwards trend. We need to think in terms of years, not hours.
4767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have learnt my lessons on: June 08, 2018, 08:21:16 AM
I also used to sell bounty tokens early. I have since learned that generally it is much better to hold longer-term - and this is certainly true if you only participate in bounties for coins that you believe in, as these are likely to be good long-term bets rather than pump and dump stuff.
4768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why red again. It should slowly turn green on: June 08, 2018, 08:04:20 AM
The best way to understand price trends is to zoom out on the charts to get a longer term perspective. For crypto as a whole, the long term pattern is price increase. Look at how prices have moved over the last 12 months. You can draw a straight ascending line from last June to now. IF you do this, you'll see that the Dec/Jan rise was higher than the trend, which is why we saw a big correction.
4769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Got ICO Tokens. Need money, any advice? on: June 08, 2018, 07:28:31 AM
hello guys,

I've got paid with ICO tokens. Tokens are in my wallet. I was saving money for a surgery for "baby issues"  and i tought i might sell these tokens. The token is not listed in any exchange atm. Do you have any advice about how can i sell them ?

You won't get a good price if it's not yet listed, and you'd probably have to find a buyer then arrange a private sale.
This will likely be difficult, and again you won't get a good price. It is probably better to sell some other coins that you might already have that are already listed.
4770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the decline of Ethereum? on: June 08, 2018, 07:17:23 AM
No, we are not about to witness the decline of Ethereum. It is one of the strongest projects out there, with extremely active development. It is one of the best bets for a long-term hold.
4771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest on NEO ? on: June 06, 2018, 02:44:49 PM
Hello, Can anyone tell me about NEO. I am about to invest on it. Whats your opinion about NEO's Future.

Always always better to research thoroughly before you buy if you're putting in a significant amount - otherwise how do you distinguish a viable project from a pump and dump coin?
That said, NEO is great and looks to have an excellent future - but DYOR.
4772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Bitcoin be surpassed by Ethereum??? on: June 06, 2018, 02:00:39 PM
I have bought some Ethereum a while back ago and already doubled my investment. Ethereum price has been growing a lot and there's already a lot of people saying that Ethereum will be the next momentum currency.

What do you guys think? Should I hold some more?

ETH is a very good bet, it's the number one smart contract platform and is likely to remain so in the long-term. Smart contracts will be huge, and ETH is leading the way. It's always a good idea to buy more, but also always a good idea to spread your risk and not put everything on one project.
4773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why red again. It should slowly turn green on: June 06, 2018, 01:27:24 PM

a lot of people wrote in the beginning of may it will be a good month. now the end of may and everything is red again. From which month can we expect a week of green?

No-one knows, but really we need to be looking longer term than a week. The shorter the timeframe, the less meaningful the price moves can be. A week of red can happen in the midst of months of green, and vice versa. I do think that mid- and long-term the future for crypto is still very bright, but daily/weekly price moves are less important.
4774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple ever reach $5 ? on: June 06, 2018, 12:34:23 PM
Hi Guys!

I bought ripple at $2.50 and i am at very high losses. I wanted to know if and when it will reach $3, $4 and if my stars shine $5 ?  Please help. I am being as much patient i can but i am honestly dying from the inside looking at the prices.

I know this is an old thread, but yes, I'm very confident that XRP will hit $5, even though it has now fallen back well below $1.
The potential use case is huge, and much closer to realisation than pretty much everything else in crypto. Just follow the ongoing developments, particularly with the xRapid product. $5 will arrive sooner than many people think.
4775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ETH also a bubble like bitcoin? on: June 05, 2018, 02:04:58 PM
ETH prices continue to fall below 400. Is this really necessary for ETH to really explode in 2018. Or is this just a bubble?

It's impossible to say whether crypto as a whole is a bubble, but the big drop in the first part of this year did help in the long run I think, as it was starting to exhibit bubble-like tendencies of continuous fast price growth. A longer slower rise with periods of levelling off is much more desirable in terms of long-term price strength.
I think that $800b for the whole market was a bit of a bubble, but now we are around $350b it is not so much of a concern and I am sure we will return to $800b in time.
4776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Fell from 60k dollars to 5k dollars - what s the way to 100k on: May 31, 2018, 11:14:00 AM
I started my crypto journey with only 4500 dollars at the end of October. I made good altcoin choices and with the bull market my trex account had around 60k dollars.
Then the crash hit my precious coins, I was the queen than became a total bag holder. Still holding my 5 month old coins, I think I am at the disbelief episode.

Any suggestions how can I go all the way up?

The question to ask yourself again is the one you asked at the beginning. Disregard the current price and ask are these altcoins still projects that you believe in? If so, then there is no reason to sell. You bought at a relative high, and are now at a relative low - but we all know that crypto is volatile, and with the next big rise the highs of last year could look very small indeed. You are only a bagholder if the projects lose their potential.
4777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO hold for long term is better or Not? on: May 31, 2018, 07:57:54 AM
NEO is one of the good potential coin.

NEO hold for long term is better or Not?

Any suggestion Please.

Yes, in my opinion NEO is a great long-term hold. People talk about one or another platform being the sole success, but there is plenty of room for several competitors to be successful. NEO is well placed to succeeed.
4778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum ALL IN? on: May 31, 2018, 06:07:20 AM
I would say that going all in on any single coin is not the best idea as it is risky to pin everything on one project, even a project as strong as ETH.
If you have a decent amount of money to spend on crypto, it might be prudent to split it across several good projects.
4779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: top 5 coins under a $0.50 on: May 31, 2018, 05:49:44 AM
what do you guys like that's under 50 cents

The price of an individual coin is not really relevant unless you also consider circulating supply... i.e., supply x price = market cap.
It is also a good idea to consider maximum possible supply, as this can impact the price... some coins only have a small proportion of total possible supply in circulation.

The only way price by itself would be relevant is if you couldn't buy fractions of a coin, so you needed thousands of dollars to buy 1 BTC but couldn't buy 0.1 BTC. The fact that you can buy fractions of coin means that $500 worth of BTC and $500 worth of a low price coin both cost the same.
4780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Q3 and Q4 on: May 30, 2018, 02:31:42 PM
in my opinion Market capitalizations of cryptocurrencies iduring Q3 and Q4 in this year, will double from the past high
wich mean about 1,6 - 1,7 trillion
and when marketcap hit 1,7T i believe bitcoin price will hit $50,000 and ethereum at $,5000
also most of solid cryptocurrency will be green

do you agree with me guys ?

No-one really knows. Medium-term I do expect crypto to grow, and yes I do expect prices to reach those points. The big question though is when. Q3 or Q4 this year seems early, but then no-one really knows - it is all so volatile that only very long-term predictions of general upwards movement seems like a reliable prediction.
