4761  Economy / Gambling / Re: PEERBET 2.0 OUT! *DRK*! Peerbet.org/PeerDice.org INVEST 0.3% Edge! Dice BTC/Alts on: May 15, 2015, 01:03:58 AM
Hello,

Wanted to ask when Peerbet decides to add Clamcoin, which almost every other Multi-Cryptocurrency Betting Site offers.

IMHO its long needed..

Chuck

I'll second this vote, though I question how effective it will be. JD is the prominent CLAM betting site, and I think it might be better to use a different coin that has little competition, rather than going up against the behemoth.

I do understand that but with that argument no other site would have Clam in it except just-dice..even FortuneJack has it.

Its not about being better than the competition always, its also good to ride on the same wave with them

Greetings, Chuck

You're comparing apples to oranges. FortuneJack is a casino. PeerBet is primarily a dice site (like JD). This puts FortuneJack in a COMPLETELY different category.

both are though gaming places which different alts..keeping worthless alts like ftc or nmc in peerbet, doesnt do any good IMHO, plus the fact again, since when should a coin stick to only one place?

Just my two cents.

Greetings, Chuck

PS: i wouldnt call Peerbet a dice-only site, it has raffles as well (which it started with originally) and that casino-like wheel...

The wheel is exactly like dice (if it hits <x>, y is rewarded). The raffle is nothing BUT dice (if roll = YourTicket, YouWin).

4763  Economy / Services / Re: Rent my sig space for 3 months on: May 12, 2015, 08:26:39 AM
why would you advertise your signature for 3 months for only 0.1 btc, while you make 60 posts per month
with that many posts you can earn 0.1 btc per month not per 3 months

try finding a campaign

Maybe he has bursts of inactivity (just like I do), and it's a way to normalize earnings (same reason I had posted offering to sell mine directly).
4764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DVC]DevCoin - Official Thread - Moderated on: May 12, 2015, 12:05:02 AM
I am curious. As a Devcoin stakeholder who wants to support the coin more, how can I apply for a available role?
Are there any prerequisites to have?

I was not aware, and never even considered, blocks from email providers. My apologies to both of you and so happy that you are going to be part of the relaunch!

- Nova

Hi Nova,

I looked at the HR page on Devtome but wasnt sure where I am meant to add myself.

http://www.devtome.com/doku.php?id=devcoin_human_resources  Wink

There should be areas where admins will be needed once Hunterbunter's changes come down the pike, tyz. If you have something in mind feel free to PM me on coinzen.com or continue discussion here if you prefer.

- Nova

The way UTB always handled admins is by invite-only based on those that were helpful. Just adding new members to the list before they prove their ability and intentions can be detrimental.
4765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HYPER ~ Game Currency ~ On CNBC.com ~ Twitch.tv ~ CSGO, Poker, RPG + More! on: May 11, 2015, 03:07:49 PM
New HYPER wallet release will be out within 24 hours.

Major fixes:

- Some updating of the codebase
- Adding of checkpoints for network security (not 100% necessary but it is nice to know we are making the network as secure as possible)
- Removal of that faulty error message about the checkpoint being too old! The HYPER network has always been 100% fine and will continue to be so.
- New compressed bootstrap file for much faster syncing for newcomers
- HYPER blockchain has been compressed (again) in this latest release for MUCH faster syncing in future

It is coming within 24 hours we are just doing some testing and finalizing the release.

Are there any benchmarks to help understand how much faster it syncs?

Added the press release to my MMORPG news site! Titled it HYPER Announces Sponsorship With PICISI, as it captured the idea behind it.

As a listed PICISI Promotions Contractor that 'reprint' action earned you 2 Pi.
See how that works?  Didn't hurt, and made many people happy.

thanks

Ahh, cool! Thanks for that, Smiley. Didn't even think about it in regards to the rewards.

Ok if anyone is wondering about the progress of CoC your gonna have to look here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=824499.msg11326211#msg11326211 on the Coin2 thread. I have been posting screenshots of some of the work I have been doing to make the village look a bit bigger and more abandoned/post-apocalyptic. Also please be aware not to take anything I say too seriously.. sometimes I might say I'm not gonna update the community til things are done, sometimes my mood changes, then I get excited and post a few new updates.. lol.. anyways, anyone for some Coin2 Cola??

Are you doing this all solo, or are others helping with the development?

And definitely keep me in the loop when you get ready for an alpha test. I can provide exposure for the game and absolutely love exclusive content.

Well most of the 3D modeling and things like that I've been doing solo. I have rghmodz helping a bit with the programming, but he barely has any time due to school. Could definitely use having the word put out for C# programmers that are experienced in unity3d.

Ahh, not too familiar with programmers, sadly. My target audience is game players themselves, Smiley.
4769  Economy / Services / Re: Quality Cheap Web Design,Logo Design Services and more... on: May 10, 2015, 04:08:46 AM
You can design a website where i can put a lot of betting affiliate link ? (full package)

Please PM me what is its price ! Thanks !

i sent you pm ,check your inbox

If he commissions you to do this, can you share the cost and the site with me to check out? Smiley.

do you know the person above ? each project has it's own price ,if you want a similar site it may cost you less or more, depends on the details...

I don't. I mostly wanted to see how it comes out and an expectation of price, Smiley. I've been keeping you in mind for when I go after a front-end designer so it's more or less just more information to go on.

4773  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How much money a faucet can earn everyday ? on: May 10, 2015, 03:00:45 AM
You will need to buy .com domain with interesting name.
Make your faucet that will make people stay on your faucet longer than 10 to 15 seconds.
Hire someone who can make game-based faucet, that will for sure make people stay longer because they are staying to play the game.

Use a-ads, bitmedia, google adsense or any other advertising platform.
Keep in mind that do not put more than 4 ads on your faucet, because it is very annoying and using too much of user resources!

Good luck hope you can be rich with your faucet.(if you have one soon!)

Adsense wouldn't let you use it on faucets. You'll be fine and earning, but they will ban you before you get a payout.
4774  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Purse.io - Bitcoin Amazon Marketplace - Save ~10-25% on Amazon Wishlist on: May 10, 2015, 02:35:29 AM
The tax depends on the receiving address of your order.

If you change the seller via the " Available at a lower price from other sellers" , you usually can avoid sales tax, often even keeping Prime delivery, The question really was are you allowed to change to other sellers to avoid sales tax?

"From other sellers" is just because they aren't Amazon and therefore handle their own taxes (most skip it altogether). That's a good question though.
4775  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [NSFW] I quit my job to focus on my bitcoin porn business on: May 09, 2015, 06:28:24 AM
I don't find it half-bad to run a porn business using Bitcoin. People are going to pay for these things and the freedom (plus "anonimity") Bitcoin can provide make it an even better choice. Sure, there a lot of shady things you can do with Bitcoin - they may even outnumber the "normal" things you can buy - but in part that is what got Bitcoin here in the first place (looking at you, SR).

It is pretty bad, to be honest the only reason I started a porn site, is cause no one was taking full advantage of bitcoin's feature set it is kinda sad.

Also it isn't easy to start one, most girls have no idea nor care about bitcoins.

The way around this problem is to create a bridge. Allow users to pay in BTC, and then use an intermediary (like BitPay) so the girls get paid in cash. Now they don't care about BTC, nor need to know about/have it, and users can still benefit from the anonymity and ease.
4776  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I invest? on: May 09, 2015, 06:26:29 AM
You can invest here. I got some bitcoins from them:
removed referral links

Stop spamming hidden referral links all over.  This is second time you spammed hidden referral links in less than 20 minutes.

Report their posts to moderators. I wish mods would just ban people for doing things like this. When someone's goal is to come to the forums to spam referral links, it should be dealt with -- not ignored.
4777  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★ BitPoker.io - A New Poker Experience! - Levelled Faucet - LAUNCH GIVEAWAY ★ on: May 08, 2015, 03:35:00 AM
Question to admins: are affiliate payouts given at a specific time, rather than ongoing? And if so, what's the frequency?

Uh... your viewers aren't necessarily those that care about the content. They are coming from http://www.downlinerefs.com/, which is a mutual PTC site. In other words, the traffic is fake and has no value.

Put that in perspective. Only 1900 people are from downlinerefs from the entire 30000 people audience, that is less than 7% of the audience.

Besides even those guys watch it for 40 seconds, and if they see something interestng they will click on it.

While the rest of the audience 93% of it (over 28000 people) are from social media, my core audience.

So your argument makes no sense  Smiley

You're only showing the stats for 2k/30k visitors, so of course that's what we judge your traffic based on. How can we make informed decisions if you're not giving the information you want us to know?
4779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HYPER ~ Game Currency ~ Twitch.tv ~ CSGO, Poker, RPG, Space, More! ~5% PoS on: May 08, 2015, 12:01:18 AM
Will there be an update to the wallet to make it more lightweight at some point? I can't really keep it open anymore to stake as it really bogs down my computer, and I by no means have a weak system. I would really like to continue staking on my own computer but until the wallet is less of a resource hog I will not be able to.

I have to agree with this.  I'm not staking at the moment but I might have considered continuing to stake if the wallet wasn't quite such a resource hog!  (Unfortunately, I do have a weak system!  Cry)

Although I do realise that the web wallet promises staking which will presumably be extremely lightweight!

A good short term solution is to just open the wallet once every few days (or even just once a week), and let it sync up and stake for a couple of hours. This works well as you have built a good network stake weight and should stake pretty much as soon as you open the wallet Wink

In the long term yes, we will look at getting the CPU resource usage down in a future update.

Syncing like this takes forever, so it's a bit painful. To put it into perspective, if I leave the wallet closed for two weeks, it will take anywhere from 7 to 9 hours to sync up once I open it.

Really? That takes me like 1-2 hours and that's on a bad day!

But yes we do have some long term plans behind the scenes to reduce blockchain bloat. Watch this space.

I think the coolest thing would be if you can do a MultiHYPER. It would work great for all users as well.

https://github.com/langerhans/multidoge

That's the DOGE version of it, which someone may be able to alter to make it work for HYPER. It makes it easily to hold many different wallets, password them, import and export addresses, and allows for almost instant syncing.
