Just got back from the bar (no getting lucky for me tonight) and see that indeed we did set an all-2016 high.

Now if we can hold at least  $470 until morning. Plowing through $480 would be nice but $490 would be better. Dare we dream of $500?

I expect a major correction after all this bullishness, but at what point, and how deep?

Time for food and then sleep. Hopefully $470 holds until morning.

Just stuck my nose in to see if there was any movement and see that I just missed all the action again.

Feels like the 2-week-old bear trap has snapped securely shut.

Almost recovered from last week's mini-dip down to $433. Time to take another run at $450.

Massive $5 plummet overnight I see. I'm surprised the teddy trolls aren't picnicking.  

Seems we've been hovering around $450 for 3 weeks now. It also seems every time some manipulator dumps thousands of coins at once in an attempt to start a panic, it fails and the price bounces back quickly to nearly where it started.

I knew a rooming-house superintendant who got tired of replacing the same punched-in piece of drywall.

He drove nails into the drywall from the back, just shy of the front paper. It only got punched in once after that.

$440? I thought we left that behind weeks ago. We might very well dip below $450 though.

Finally a tiny bit of movement. Back over $460 after almost a week.

Next target: $466, then on to the $470s and a new high for 2016.

So we're down $10, right back where we were 4 days ago.

It's not a deep enough dip for me to buy (yet).

A fair few? This year all I see are once in early January and once on April27.

That said, I agree it's too early to get excited yet.

Meanwhile the Bitcoinaverage CAD spot price is back up over $600. I know this is the USD/BTC thread but we Canucks can consider this a landmark of sorts. We still make most of our purchases and payments in CAD and I certainly paid for my bitcoins with CAD. Next stop: $700.
