Bitcoin replaces central, not commercial, banks

Here is hoping you are correct, Adam. Since BTC and LTC are moving in lockstep and trading at odds with XMR/ETH etc.. it makes sense to buy a little LTC if you really believe bitcoin is about to rally hard.

After three and a half years of accumulation I have become patient.

I thought you were contemplating selling because BorgStreamCore or w/e?

What are you doing on a censored forum btw?

^^ I especially love "However, the malicious external party involved in this breach, managed to alter our system so that ETH and BTC deposit transfers by-passed the multi-sig cold storage and went directly to the hot wallet"
Sounds legit Undecided

It seems these things are often partially or wholly inside jobs.

That Gatecoin crap about by-passing the multi-sig cold storage sounds very similar to the Karpeles crap about a leak in the Gox cold wallet.

I expected a giant dump when the news got out, but the Bitcoin market seems unfazed. Maybe it's because bulk of what was stolen was ETH.

How many here have heard of Gatecoin? I haven't before all this came up but maybe I'm not concentrating.

Next target: $466, then on to the $470s and a new high for 2016.

...but not before we revisit 440.

$440? I thought we left that behind weeks ago. We might very well dip below $450 though.
$440 is gone, dipping below $450 seems unlikely at this point, $460 is the new goal that we should want to see and get the value there for a while. If we could see something like this, then I would say $500 isn't an impossible goal before the halving.

I knew a rooming-house superintendant who got tired of replacing the same punched-in piece of drywall.

He drove nails into the drywall from the back, just shy of the front paper. It only got punched in once after that.

It seems like a bit of an elaborated story.

Can you imagine the liability that could be involved in "intentionally" placing nails behind the drywall if someone were really seriously injured or killed...??   Shocked

Jimbo's managed to elicit a chuckle from me with three sentences. Something you've been unable to do, ever. Now that's kinda funny, or sad, depending on your perspective.

Do you forget how old Jimbo is? He was around in the days before the pesky lawyers had elaborated away all the fun in this world.

Yes, I suppose that lots of this does depend on perspective, as if one of my goals in life would be to get some pesky ass troll wannabe to giggle?   Roll Eyes

From 250BTC? It's a trifling sum. Gatecoin is also more closely associated with Ethereum (e.g. through REP/DAO/DGD) than with Bitcoin.

Why does the poll not offer any options over $1,000...I think it will be >$4,000

We were aiming for $3200, but if Adam agrees on $4000, I will allow it.
