For those who could not start the miner after the October 3 update https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4524147/windows-10-update-kb4524147
Remove this line on your batch file:

Code:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0

Well, that's how I solved my problem.
4762  Economy / Economics / Re: The re-accumulation period is in on: October 03, 2019, 08:16:08 PM
This discussion should be on Bitcoin Discussion bro, I don't see we are talking about economics here, just saying...

Anyway,

1. Be careful since two data periods often not sufficient to produce a robust forecast result.
2. This $8K price level is not really tempting for accumulation.
3. If there is no bull-run, likely there will be no ATH, so keep our eyes for bull-run signals.
4763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: US Lawmakers want's a National Digital Currency on: October 03, 2019, 07:21:24 PM
Would it influence the FED to release a block-chain based currency? What are you thoughts on them?
That's correct that the paper USD is in decline. However, I don't think the FED needs to issue a digital USD with "blockchain technology" since they can just type it and hit the enter button in a database. Nevertheless, it's possible to tokenize the USD on public blockchains like ETH, EOS, etc.
4764  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: October 03, 2019, 06:27:01 PM
House edge is like a profit margin for typical businesses. It's not unique and can lead to a "price war." The other casinos can immediately react to lower their house edge as well, and MintDice will lose its edge (pun intended).

If we assume that the dice game is a saturated mainstream market, then new players entering the casino market would be better off to compete in the niche. Thus, unique games with acceptable house edge seem to be a better idea.

*Based on my analysis, it should not be taken seriously.
4765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's most important to you in a crypto betting platform? on: October 03, 2019, 07:39:41 AM
1. No KYC
2. Provably fairness
3. Low house egde
4. Support team manned by actual humans, not bots
5. Easy and simple interface yet eye catchy design

7. Instant withdrawals
A few additions:
8. In-house developed games, or minimum 3rd party games;

10. On-chain betting records (if possible).

I spoke about BET fantasy tokens and it does not matter on what platform they are built!
It matters.

Is EOS and BET run by EOSBet.io?
EOS no, BET yes.

How is the value of the BET fantasy token affected by EOS?
You missed to answer:
The value of BET fantasy tokens is determined by what?
The value of EOS is determined by what?
Answered your question perfectly, I have.

Kastanya (urut dari yang kurang mulia):
- morum cuma buat ikutan sigcamp << ini yang paling banyak
- morum ga cuma buat ikutan sigcamp

Did I speak about BET fantasy tokens or did I speak about EOS?
You spoke about token built on EOS platform, or eosio.token contract.
My apologies if you mistakenly think I wrote about EOS, nope it was EOS Token
The rest is just a showcase of your technical knowledge.

Public investors do not know much they paid for BET?
They know that their investment is now worth significantly more if they bought it at the all-time low (0.0165 BET/EOS)

As the value of the BET fantasy token is connected to the EOSBet online casino operation
And EOS price, and EOS price is affected by BTC price, and BTC price is influenced by a butterfly flapping its wings in the deep of the Amazon rainforest.

If you would have the slightest idea about macroeconomics, you would not spam your signature for cents! Wink
I got $50 (about 45.80 EURO) per week actually. It's a decent payment for teaching the ignoramus (my hobby). Thanks to the bitcointalk and its signature privilege. I won't lend you 10 EURO for your VPN plan though Grin

Lol, a sig spammer with almost ~1k merit points, with devil's advocate attitude. It's a miracle I'm still here.

If an online casino fantasy token loses 50% of its value within 2 days, then the operator obviously does shady things! Smiley
Let me teach you a little bit of finance @game-protect since you need it. And please don't be discouraged from learning even if you never taste higher education.

- You don't measure EOS token value with fiat since the ecosystem uses EOS.
https://newdex.io/trade/betdividends-bet-eos (all-time low was 0.0165)

- There was never an ICO for BET, so only private investors know how much they paid for BET token.

- Even if BET really lost x% of its dollar value, it doesn't mean the operator did shady things. Macroeconomics factors also affect assets/commodities prices.

Are there any advanced plans to implement Segwit? Just today I found out that my Segwit-address is not suitable and thus I had to create a Legacy-address for the withdrawal, what is not highly appreciated Smiley
I think you mean Bech32 address format since I have no problem withdraw to P2SH-Segwit.
But yeah many service providers haven't updated their system to support bc1 format. Luckily modern wallets like Coinomi, Mycelium, etc., provide both Bech32 (default) and P2SH (compatibility).

It would be nice if withdrawal for Bech32 will be supported in the future.
4772  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Apa Kabar Lightning Network? on: September 30, 2019, 09:42:56 PM
Detil celah keamanan - 27 Sept 2019

Quote
A lightning node accepting a channel must check that the funding transaction output does indeed open the channel proposed.  Otherwise an attacker can claim to open a channel but either not pay to the peer, or not pay the full amount. Once that transaction reaches the minimum depth, it can spend funds from the channel. The victim will only notice when it tries to close the channel and none of the commitment or mutual close transactions it has are valid.
Sumur: https://lists.linuxfoundation.org/pipermail/lightning-dev/2019-September/002174.html

Yes, Technology is tricky!
What If there is power electricity problems?
Then use a generator or UPS.

If there is a temporary power failure, then you won't be able to pay with cash either, since the shop's cash register/POS won't function.

IMO the argument for paper/coins/barter should be about remote areas, where there are no electricity or internet coverage. But still, isn't it better to develop those areas instead?
4774  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: List of the top 30 largest cryptocurrency exchanges in 2019 (according to coinge on: September 30, 2019, 03:37:57 AM
It's a very biased list, probably paid advertisement since I see CoinTiger is there. Honestly, there I found the stupidest wash trading bot of all time (based on my experience). The trading was so active but won't touch even one satoshi spread from the real human market maker. Seriously, the bot activities were so obvious.

I think @roycilik need to tell his story about trading on CoinTiger Grin
4775  Economy / Economics / Re: Paper Bitcoin eth, ltc and others on: September 30, 2019, 03:17:19 AM
Do you think its a good idea to have paper Cryptocurrency in circlelation too?

I personally think its a good idea to have btc paper Currrency or metal coins too wich Will be accepted any shops!
I don't think so. Paper money is in decline while e-money rapidly increasing.

Quote
Across the world, a crop of other countries and companies are trying to loosen our reliance on cash. In South Korea, a close second to Sweden in terms of the growing dominance of electronic money, the central bank has set a 2020 target to phase out coins. There have been more limited withdrawals of small denominations in Ireland and parts of northern Europe.

Soon, people who have access to electricity and internet won't use paper money or coins anymore.
4776  Economy / Economics / Re: Rate cuts money printing inflation on: September 30, 2019, 02:38:52 AM
Well actually Bitcoin can be the answer to that problem and it is very evident in countries like Zimbabwe and Venezuela where they are struggling with hyperinflation. In these countries it is not strange for Fiat currencies to lose value daily and people are turning to Bitcoin to protect the buying power of their local Fiat currency.
How? What do you propose? People of Zimbabwe and Venezuela all buying BTC?

If so do you think the gold and btc Will be hedge?
It's really hard for BTC to be a good hedge because of its volatility. Imagine you wanted to avoid losing your wealth to 2% of inflation per year so you decided to put your life saving in Bitcoin a few weeks. By today you'd lose 20% of your wealth already

What about scalability and utility problem?
I do feel that, but the problem is i cant buy groceries food and daily needs with Bitcoin first i have to Exchange my btc to Fiat, so the Bitcoin and gold is Not really Solution for that problem!!
4777  Local / Mining (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [GUIDE] Belajar Mining (newbie) on: September 29, 2019, 02:00:24 PM
Di folder mana file config.bat tersebut harus di simpan gan? Supaya ketika komputer di nyalakan langsung berjalan proses mining nya, krn komputer sy pakai utk dedicated mining.
Kalau agan pakai Windows 10:

- Tekem "tombol windows di keyboard + R" untuk membuka kotak dialog run;
- Ketik "shell:startup" << tanpa tanda petik, lalu klik "OK";
- Dalam jendela yang kemudian terbuka, klik kanan lalu buat new file text document, isinya:
Code:
timeout xx << agar ga langsung load
cd C:\LOKASI atau D:\ E:\ << lokasi batch file mining
start /min namafile.bat << tergantung nama batch file yang agan pakai
- Ubah ekstensi file tersebut dengan akhiran .cmd (bukan .txt);
- Tutup.

Nanti ketika startup akan menunggu pause xx detik lalu otomatis launch.

Punya ane:
Code:
timeout 90
cd C:\Miner\ClaymoreDual\15-0
start /min startup.bat

You can, basically you send the tx to the same account as the interface does with the memo in the same way the interface does. I've done it before (only for Dice though)
Thank you,

I just tried and yes we can play the dice game directly from EOS wallet. It's easy! Sent minimum 0.05 EOS to account eosbetdice11 with memo xx--
xx is the "roll under" so it should be 02-96;
-- is referral, for example -user1234- if he is your referral. *CMIIW (just guessing, since I couldn't find documentations)

I tried with memo 96-- and it worked!
4779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners, don't give up yet. Bitcoin can't do it alone. on: September 29, 2019, 09:31:54 AM
I agree that not all altcoins are bad. Altcoin's performance which has plummeted at this time could have been because investors prefer bitcoin as a safe haven due to uncertain global economic conditions. Investors might not be dependent solely on bitcoin because investors would think it is too risky to only hold one portfolio.
What kind of crazy investors think that bitcoin can be a safe haven? Historically, gold is a (limited) safe haven. Bitcoin is high risk - high return asset, not a safe haven.

Cryptocurrency portfolio? Seriously in 2019 you still believe in such thing? Altcoin got REKT because simply the majority of it doesn't have value in the first place.
4780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners, don't give up yet. Bitcoin can't do it alone. on: September 29, 2019, 04:55:06 AM
Altcoin actually sucks the value out of Bitcoin, but it happened because of so many things, e.g., trilemma, low utility, speculative mentality, fees, etc.

Regarding your question about "do you think the industry can survive without altcoins." Nope, the cryptocurrency industry is based on what? Trading (P&D) in exchanges and gambling. How many traders deposit/withdraw their fund in BTC? I think not many. The retail one (like us lol) would prefer altcoins (like XLM) for cheaper and faster transaction.
