He also wiped out $3 billion of his own personal wealth. This has to be some kind of a record in terms of financial loss incurred by a single tweet. I read that he was already removed as the board of directors some time ago, though he does remain CEO -- something tells me that's going to change pretty soon.

Frankly, I'm thinking, good for him. It's just money. He's helping to highlight the absurdity of obscene wealth.

Unfortunately, he is proving Mark Cuban right, who said he wasn't fit to be CEO of a multibillion dollar corporation after he smoked weed on Joe Rogan's podcast.

His life story is going to make a great biopic some day...

Care to expand on this? I'd be happy to help correct your misunderstanding(s).

Okay, so nevermind that the comment above is one of the dumbest things I've read all day, let's talk about Tara Reade. I look at it the scoreboard of sexual misconduct allegations:

Trump 25
Biden 1

"Oh but Trumps were all false allegations."

Sure... considering its the guy who admitted he liked grabbing women by the pussy, that makes total sense.  Roll Eyes

"Oh but its Trump, so, you know.. its fine!"

Yes, but right now their personal fantasy and reality is one and the same, and that must be a great feeling for them.
They are going to pester their grandchildren with these stories forever,

LOL. Sad but true. It's like their Vietnam, except instead of fighting for the government, they're just drinking beers and waving their metal dicks around at the government.

"Grandkids, ever tell you about the time me and uncle Earl stormed the state capitol and won back our freedoms?"

"Yes paw-paw."

"Thank me for your freedoms, kids."

"Thanks paw-paw."

Also, he's gotta make sure the country trusts his intelligence agencies as little as possible.

This sentence alone...

To think he somehow knows better than them, and that his maneuvering is anything other than throwing the welfare of his country under the bus for the sake of personal gain.

It's a trick that only works on people dumb enough to have voted for him in the first place.

His only hope of winning now is to paint Biden as being bedridden with end-stage dementia. Frankly, it seems to be working to a certain degree. But even if this was the actual case I would still vote for Biden knowing his VP would be somebody other than Trump.

CSGO  Elisa Invitational
Nordavind vs KOVA Esports 12:00

bet: Over 26,5 @ 2.00
source: https://esporttalk.org/

We're in for a very pissed-off duel here. The form of the players is on a very similar level as well as the style of playing the duo Uli and Derkeps to the feats of TENZKA and HS. I don't see a clear favourite here. These teams often give rounds and don't finish matches too fast. Kova does not have to be crossed out, they should fight with Nordavind as equals. The line in the b365 25.5 is more secure but the odds are much smaller (1.65) hence the risk is slightly higher but at a good odds.

Good luck! I'll be watching this one as a learning experience. Can I ask you what are the sportsbooks that you use most frequently and can recommend to others for these bets?
4769  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS]Default Trust account - Hero/Legendary on: May 01, 2020, 08:10:58 AM

Bump.

It is funny that I just had a 6 year-old post deleted from this thread by a moderator (it happened about 10 minutes ago).

For the record, I still think account selling is bad. If somebody wants to sell their own account and make all the details about the transaction public, then that is a different story. But being a professional account seller remains a dirty enterprise.

Please help me oppose these terrorists who keep activating and deactivating trust score everytime bitcoin price moves up or down.

I was right, BTC crashed hard to sub $4k and many new users were spared of economic loss.

If I was right, then I was right, stop fucking terrorizing me piece of shit.

1. Your flag is inactive. Nobody has left you a new trust reference since November.

2. BTC dipped below $4k for less than half an hour. You said it was going to zero. You were wrong. You were also very, very wrong about this:

Waves will go up +500% intraday within a few days.

You said this on March 13th. After that, Waves sank to 70 cents before slowly climbing to its current price $1.09.

Either way, I doubt a single person here has ever acted on your "brilliant" analyses, so stop patting yourself on the back so hard.

3. Nobody is "terrorizing" you. I wouldn't tag you over making horrific price predictions, but you do talk like a scammer and nobody should trust a single thing you have to say. Additionally, nobody owes you shit BTW.

Might switch my strategy on this and try the "High Risk, High Reward" bot... see if it can make back some of it... I'm sure this is "typical" gambler behaviour... take bigger and bigger risks the more you lose! Wink

Hey, might as well...

I just didn't care for the way he advertises things: changing the data he makes his presentations with to fit what "the new bot would have done" instead of "what it actually did." But at least he's not doing it here anymore.
4772  Economy / Reputation / Re: MicroGuy - claiming to be a "friend of Satoshi" in order to promote his altcoin on: April 30, 2020, 04:27:54 PM
It's true I was claiming to be friends with Satoshi on the P2P Foundation website.

However, after spending a few hours today researching the hacking episode that occurred in 2014, I've learned that most likely his account was hacked several months before he added me as a friend later that same year.

...

In light of these facts, I have unfriended Satoshi Nakamoto on the P2P Foundation website and stand corrected.

Thanks for your honesty and quick resolution. Because you have demonstrated a willingness to be reasonable I am removing support for the flag as it was based on this claim.

(fyi, I've had three of my posts deleted on this forum this week. and none of them were warranted.)

I tried to tell you in the other thread that posting two posts in a row isn't allowed. Simply edit your last post with your new thoughts to avoid them being deleted.

Why would Satoshi threaten to dox himself?

Source?

Specifically, here:

You're going to continue your narrative knowing this was posted by the Satoshi Nakamoto account at least a month before you were "friended by Satoshi?" I sincerely hope not. Also, I'd like your comment on this:

4774  Economy / Reputation / MicroGuy - claiming to be a "friend of Satoshi" in order to promote his altcoin on: April 30, 2020, 02:46:53 PM
Edit: I have withdrawn the flag and no longer support it; see here for details.

MicroGuy is a long-time member of the forum (since 2013) who has primarily promoted Goldcoin (GLC) through the history of his years at the forum. He hasn't been active much this year, but came back in mid April to start promoting an update to Goldcoin.

On April 23rd, he made this post, which is now deleted, but this is an archived copy of the post:

Risking life and limb here to get the truth out. I hope the moderators will have the bravery and courage to let this post stand.

YouTube Video: The Killing of Satoshi Nakamoto

YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgXrsqiUKMc&t

Thank you one and all and ESPECIALLY Cobra!

The YouTube video is now deleted, but in it he basically riffed on how Satoshi Nakamoto was a "friend" of his, as they are listed as "friends" on the P2P Foundation website. Without mentioning the name of Craig Wright business partner Dave Kleiman, he basically asserts that Satoshi was Dave Kleiman, and that Satoshi died under mysterious circumstances, "covered in feces." Kleiman did die a horrible death in April 2013, but there is zero evidence that he was Satoshi -- just some documents backdated and signed using a font by Craig Wright. He even went so far as to say the judge in the Kleiman v. Wright case ruled that the duo comprised "Satoshi," which is categorically false:

He's since deleted all posts he's made on the forum about him being a "friend" of Satoshi, but here is an quoted version of such a post:

Satoshi who friended me years ago on P2P Foundation was actually a group.

He repeated this claim in a few different posts - including one in the Goldcoin thread - and deleted all of them, but he continues to post about it on Twitter; in this example he is defending himself from the negative trusts recently placed on his account:

I notice he's also mentioned it in various other Goldcoin groups to his followers, which makes it all the more obvious that he is using his supposed "connection" to Satoshi in order to promote Goldcoin (which he has been heavily invested in for a number of years - here is a good background story on the matter).

So, is there a chance that the real Satoshi actually added MicroGuy (Greg Matthews) on P2P Foundation?

The answer is no. We know:

1. Greg Matthews wasn't "added" by Satoshi until sometime between Oct. 22nd and Dec. 23rd 2014, which can be verified by looking at the linked web archives of this page, when Satoshi's friend count jumps from 2 to 12.

2. This is years after Satoshi had gone totally silent. The last communication from Satoshi was in 2011 when he famously communicated to Mike Hearn that he "had moved on to other things."

3. Satoshi's P2P Foundation account was hacked* in early September 2014, and on September 9th the hacker posted a message using Satoshi's account on the P2P Foundation forum:

https://blog.p2pfoundation.net/satoshi-nakamotos-account-hacked/2014/09/09
Quote
It appears that Satoshi Nakamoto’s GMX email account, which he originally used to announce Bitcoin in the P2P Foundation’s Ning forum, has been hacked. The hacker has used the account to post a warning to Satoshi in our forum...

“Dear Satoshi. Your dox, passwords and IP addresses are being sold on the darknet. Apparently you didn’t configure Tor properly and your IP leaked when you used your email account sometime in 2010. You are not safe. You need to get out of where you are as soon as possible before these people harm you. Thank you for inventing Bitcoin.”

The hacker then left a Pastebin post saying he would release his data on Satoshi if 25 BTC was sent to his address, and even threatened theymos on the same day.

Given the contents of the P2P Foundation post, it is quite obvious that it was not the Satoshi who was in control of the account in September 2014, and therefore it was not the Satoshi who added Greg Matthews (MicroGuy) in October-December 2014.

TL;DR: MicroGuy made a false claim that he was friends with Satoshi Nakamoto, who he says "friended" him on the P2P Foundation forum, in order to attempt to pump Goldcoin.

Because this behavior is highly untrustworthy, I think people should be warned against investing in Goldcoin on a false premise that he was actually acquaintances with Satoshi (he was not). I have opened a flag on MicroGuy which is here.

*it could very well be that the satoshin@gmx.com address had simply expired and the "hacker" re-registered it, performed a password reset on Satoshi's P2P Foundation account, and logged into it - in which case technically nothing was "hacked" - somebody will have to correct me if this is wrong... This might have originally taken place before March 7, 2014, as that was the date that the "I am not Dorian Nakamoto" message was also left by whoever was in control of Satoshi's account at the time. What is clear is that whoever had it by September 2014 was NOT Satoshi.

named the 'satoshi'

Confirmed:

1 satoshi = 1 microbitcent (smallest denomination)

100 million satoshis = 1 bitcoin

Are we agreed?

Technically this guy beat you to it:

For the purpose of this discussion, suppose a millionth of a bitcoin is called a satoshi.

As far as the whole second wave down thing is concerned... I honestly give it about a 20% chance of occurring. I'm talking about the stock market plummeting below recent lows and dragging bitcoin (and the whole of crypto) along with it. I've read all the bearish analyses and commentary comparing this action to that of 2008 and 1929, in that there is always a bounce ("return to normal" phase) before the real crash.

However, what's different this time around is the fed rushing to immediately inject trillions of capital into the markets. Anything that is at risk of sinking, the fed is ready to prop it up by printing more cash. "Can't fight the fed," as they say.

But it's real, right.. let's believe what legal propaganda says and not what I witness with my own eyes.. Roll Eyes

That's the problem. You're only considering what you can see with your own eyes to be relevant. You're assuming the situation that you are experiencing locally applies to the rest of the world. It does not. I'm not going to try to change your mind about believing in whatever conspiracies you want to. Its tiring and this isn't even the right part of the forum for that kind of thing.

Plus, I can't wait until the acronym "MSM" falls out of style. Its beyond obnoxious at this point.

Then maybe the moderators here will decide to stop deleting my posts.  Wink

The forum rule is no posting twice in a row under 24 hours. If a fresh thought crosses that genius brain of yours and you have to let us know about it, just edit your last post if its the last post in the thread. If somebody else posts after your post, no need - you can make a new post - and it won't be deleted.

I've explained that to hv_ at least 4 times but its more fun to pretend you are a victim of the Blockstream Conspiracy than actually acknowledge the rules of the forum.

No, I quite doubt that he would. But I can ask him if you really care.

Again,

Why would Satoshi threaten to dox himself?
4780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig W. only claims to be Satoshi, because he knows the real Satoshi is dead? on: April 29, 2020, 03:27:04 PM
If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

Oh brother.  Roll Eyes

Why would Satoshi threaten to dox himself? Can you answer that?

Clearly you weren't dealing with Satoshi, if anybody at all.

Smoking pot while reminiscing about what great pals you and Satoshi were, also inferring that he was killed and his body found covered in feces... all just to promote your altcoin? I would say it was bizarre if it wasn't also pretty low.
