Is this really possible? As I know, iCloud lock is uncrackable, don't tell me you need to jailbreak the phone first.

Is this campaign closed to a new participants again? Sad, this is a best one.
Yes, it is! It is best for us but not for them. They shouldn't be allowing these much users as people don't mix daily and they will only get less profit from this but I doubt they will even make a profit. -MZ

Okay! Please put below code in your signature and post here with your current post count & BTC address here. The payment will be made after one month(30 days) exactly from the day you confirm. If you don't trust me, you are feel free to use escrow who is convenient with multisig. The escrow will create the multisig address(2-of-3), one private key will be send to me and another to you. You might have to pay the fees. Thanks for the loan. Will be repaid soon!
Okay! Hi, this is my first post, and I'm new to bitcoin and was wondering if I could get a micro loan
Loan Amount : any amount ( preferably .05 or so) Reason : interested in the bitcoin process for a macro economics report I'm writing (how viable) BTC Address : 1BeBftL7BrP4bqmFmVJHtpfG7K9qVHfyJa Term Length : 5-7 days
I understand this is going on a limb as I have no real collateral, I could write a custom Minecraft pocket edition script if you'd like, though that really doesn't have any intrinsic value, I have a google play account with about 150 dollars worth of purchases I could put up as well.
All in all I'm very curious about the future of currency and just how viable this system is for transactions. Thank you.
Denied. -MZ

I have seen this too but mostly when used 'code' tag. I don't know whether it is intentional or is a bug. Only theymos can tell about this.

maybe the community should have more time to debate/discuss the fairness of this proposed trade.
It all went so fast without a word here and the decision came which we can't/couldn't change. Yes the op is an adult and can make his own decisions however I also think he is being taken advantage of and being strong armed into accepting an agreement on less then favorable terms
He have to pay marcotheminer(min. ~1/2) or he will have to start again with nothing. Selling was the only thing which is good for him. So he may have accepted. He could have posted here prior to confirming it. I really feel missing of BPB now!!! -MZ

No need to be jealous of me profiting anymore quickseller ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ! Zeki and I are still discussing and have decided that I'll take the loan principal out of the account's sale price. The rest, as was said before, will go to Zeki. it is not jealousy it is advocating for a compromize that is fair to all parties involved. What is to be deemed fair is to be decided between the affected parties. So let us do just that. Anyways, a final agreement has been met. True but as he said, he(we) is(are) advocating not declaring. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) -MZ

splitting the amount of the sales price means that marcotheminer will profit from the OPs account getting hacked. The account should be sold with between 50 to 75% of the principle of the loan sent to marcotheminer and the balance to the OP.
I also think larger portion should be sent to Zeki and I told 0.32 BTC for marcotheminer as it was the amount he loaned and assuming it will be worth between 2x and ~3x of the amount loaned. Anyway, I understood what you meant! Hope everything gies okay for both! I've removed the negative feedback and I hope all the situation will be resolved in a "fair way". Good luck guys.
Me too. -MZ

marcotheminer getting .32 would be him not taking any losses. The current "agreement" means that he actually profits from this.
IMO Marco should take at least a 25% loss but a 50% loss would be the most fair. He has been in this business a long time and should know better then to accept an account without securing some kind of signed message, plus this is not the first time this has happened.
Rephrasing : marcotheminer and Zeki split the amount after the trade equally. That seems fair. marcotheminer or I will be contacting the person who send me PM asking for account soon. -MZ

|
|
why shouldn't marcotheminer take any loss from this? He failed to secure a signed message and as a result took possession of a hacked account. There is no reason why the OP should have to bear the entire loss
You are right, both had faults and that's why I said, like theymos told, to split this amount equally. I think when selling, marcotheminer will get atleast 0.32 BTC, for that ta happen, it should be traded at 0.64+ BTC. -MZ

I like old UI, simple and clean. I hope it will be used again.
I also preferred the overall look of the old UI, though it had far fewer features, and I've heard that it was more difficult for programmers to work with. So I think there was no option other than a new UI. Off-topic : You have mentioned in that thread about Satoshi's views/words and Mike Hearn mentioned about using HTTPS over HTTP, so will this feature come again - sending to IP via HTTPS protocol? -MZ
|
|
|
Edit: also how is it fair that you take no losses when you are both at fault?
I think the account could be sold at a minimum of ~0.6+ BTC. They should split evenly, if they got more, 0.32 BTC to marcotheminer and remaining 0.32+ BTC to Zeki. -MZ
|
|
|
IMHO marcotheminer should get 0.32BTC as that is what he loaned and the remaining to Zeki.
FYI at the end after you decide, PM me. A person has messaged me asking if I have any accounts for sale, he/she is ready to give a good amount and he wants a HM account.

you used to be able to query someone running QT via their IP address and the node would reply with a fresh address to send to. I believe the feature was disabled in an early version of QT because I believe of DDOS concerns
It was removed in https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/253. See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=9334.0. 1) I don't believe that secure IP-based transactions are possible. The internet has no API to confirm that you are the real owner of an IP address. This would need to involve your ISP.
2) We already have bitcoin addresses, why would you complicate it by having mulitple kinds of addresses? What inherent advantages do IP transactions have that hash-based transactions don't have?
3) Also if you really want IP based transactions (or other forms of address shortening) they could be implemented as a secondary service apart from the P2P protocol. I see no advantage to having this as part of the main protocol.

Had to remove log file and run ./configure again. All set now.
Good to know! Set permission for the user correctly, I think that's what have to do instead of re-intalling. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) -MZ
