4765  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What will happen after all Bitcoin blocks have been found? on: January 23, 2015, 05:49:24 PM
The term "all blocks will be found" is not correct. Block finding (i.e. mining) will continue forever.
Just in 2140 all block rewards will be distributed. Miners will continue mining (hopefully) just because
of the fees. I'm sure there's a good introductory exposition somewhere on this forum to be found..

what do you mean by "Fees" , what fees exactly ? :/

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transaction_fees

the site ain't loading for me , idk why , thanks anyways

right now the block reward is 25BTC, and each block contains about 0.1-0.2BTC of transaction fees on average.
In 6 years from now the reward will be 6.25BTC, and its likely transaction fees will be about 0.6BTC/block
another 8 years later the block reward will be at 1.6125 BTC, and each block will likely have 1BTC of transaction fees

I expect the transaction fees>block reward before 2040

oh! wow! well! means the confirmation will be quite alot more slow though the mining will continue
Thanks

4776  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin UK on: January 23, 2015, 03:56:54 PM
Hi guys

I'm 19 atm and I have bitcoin which I would want to sell, but I'm not sure how to go about it. I know there is bank transfer but I don't know enough about tax etc and bitcoins to be honest. Is it legal to sell them in the UK? Would I be taxed? The amount would be atleast £5000 so would that cause any red flags on my account by the bank for receiving such amount of money? Would cash in hand go smoothly? I don't mind paying the tax or whatever but if somebody could explain it all to me that would be great.

Thanks!

I don't know about your country's law , it would be better if you discussed this from a lawyer.
Though with that amount you'll surely be taxed OR if you buy with cash ,you might avoid TAX but wouldn't recommend you to do that , pay your taxes.
Try to do a search on localbitcoins.com , you will find a lot of listing there and there will be many options you can choose from , you can even meet and do transactions(Be careful with that).
If you want i can buy some BTC , i can do transfer's from Canada which are possible or Paypal, message if interested.
4777  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: Real Incidence - Boy Can See With Blind Folded Eyes on: January 23, 2015, 03:48:36 PM
Not sure about this boy, but in 2009, there was a girl named Ranjana Agarwal did this kind of stunt - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3SX_1HEGnw , Later on it was proved as a hoax - http://www.hoaxorfact.com/Scams/ranjana-agrawal-the-x-ray-eyed-girl-who-can-see-blindfolded-facts-analysis.html

wow! i never saw it, neither on TV , lol
It's quite funny how she and other's made a fool out of others , i never expected this from a show like this.

4779  Bitcoin / Mining / What will happen after all Bitcoin blocks have been found? on: January 23, 2015, 11:03:26 AM
Though as we know , we get a confirmation and our blockchain move's because somewhere someone is mining a block, though lately cos of high load of hashes , it takes quite time much time(sometimes 30 minutes) for blockchain.info(i prefer using it) to get a Confirmation.
Recently i saw a video showing it is expected all blocks will be found till year 2140.
What will happen then ? I mean how will the chain move ?
i know it's gonna be lot time for that , but am just curious .  Shocked
