4761  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the best crypto exchage in 2016 ??? on: March 15, 2016, 09:36:55 AM
Ok thanks .

I really like Poloniex , but last night , Poloniex got DDos Attack , so i am really aware of that.

Ok i gonna try all in that list .

Thank You

I'm defenately not saying Poloniex is the best exchange out there, but there's little you can do against a DDOS. Normally, a Ddos isn't a "dangerous" attack, it's just very annoying since the service might not respond during the attack itself. Normally, no funds get lost during a Ddos, altough the exchange might take wallets offline untill everything is resolved.

I wouldn't write off poloniex because they were DDos'ed (but that's just my personal opinion)

Can you give me the source of this traffic, which countries, languages,...
4763  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good start api script exchanges on: March 15, 2016, 07:48:59 AM
I can probably write a couple price widgets for you, so you can use them directly onto your site, and learn from the samples?
PM me for a quote if you're interested!
4764  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the best crypto exchage in 2016 ??? on: March 15, 2016, 07:41:34 AM
I'd go for c-cex, bluetrade, poloniex or bit-x.
I haven't traded for a while, but those used to be the most trustworthy in my book.

Offcourse, you'll have to do your research beforehand.
4765  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where to buy a laptop (EU)? on: March 11, 2016, 12:11:36 PM
I know dell used to sell laptops for bitcoin, and that they delivered almost everywhere... Don't know if it's still the case tough.
4766  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: single wallet on multiple devices on: March 11, 2016, 09:20:41 AM
hello, is it possible to have the same electrum wallet (and addresses, and bitcoin transactions and amount) on different devices ?
3 Pc with windows (v10, 7 and 8.1), 1 smartphone with android.
How can I proceed ?
please try to explain simply, I'm not a technical man, i'm just a bitcoin user but don't understand everything inside.

Very simple: create a wallet on one pc, write down the seed.
On the second pc, don't create a new wallet, but restore an old one (use the same seed)
idem dito on the thirth one
idem dito on the smartphone (altough, i have never tried this one myself, it should work)
4767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Doing Bitcoin Report, Need people to complete short survey on: March 10, 2016, 02:31:12 PM
Filled this in for you... It was only a 30 second survey  Smiley
4768  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Please Help, Where I'm doing wrong ??? on: March 09, 2016, 11:41:27 PM
Isn't the problem the fact that you try to connect over port 443 (ssl). You'll need to pass the option -rpcssl.
Maybe, you can try to connect over port 80, it's very unsecure, but it doesn't require extra options?
4769  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who will be the next president ? Poll on: March 09, 2016, 01:00:45 PM
I guess Clinton has the best chance, but i sure hope Sanders will the be one that wins... Since i'm from the EU, i personally believe he's the one that would be best for both the US and the rest of the world  Smiley
4770  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [CHEAP] SELLING BITCOIN DICE SCRIPT on: March 09, 2016, 12:51:22 PM
I'd love to setup a dice website, but you're selling a pirated version which i don't really trust.

Btw, there was also a free pirated version floating around, but it had backdoors and loads of bugs. I hope you're not trying to sell the free (backdoored) version?

If you want, i can review the code and give some feedback wether i found backdoors or not... I'll only make public wether or not i found something, but i do not really condone pirated scripts, so i won't install it on my servers, nor will i make a "real" vouch.

No it's the original version i bought for 1 BTC, but now i dont use it anymore so i would like to get back my 1 btc investment by selling it to other guys.

I'd personally contact the writer of the script, and ask him if you can transfer your licence. That way you can recuperate 80-90% of your initial deposit, and still be OK in terms of licencing Wink

btw: my offer still stands, in order to protect the forum, i'm willing to install this script on a vmware box, using dogecoind or something in order to see if it phones home, and do a quick readover of the code to see if it's legit.
The only feedback i'll give is: "contains backdoors" or "seems clean at first sight".

PM me if interested Wink

4772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What "facts" you heard about Bitcoin is not true? on: March 09, 2016, 10:10:54 AM
Anonymity is really tough in Bitcoin once you basically give all the informations to exchange where you buy Bitcoins. The option is use localbitcoin cash and given you pay premium this way, it is not worth it in my opinion.

Other than anonymity is free transactions myth. It is hard to send Bitcoins for free, and it seems to be impossible in near future.

I think you need your own node to broadcast your free transaction even now, because most public nodes don't accept no-fee transactions anymore (at least, this is what i've heared/picked up on the forum, i always add a fee, so i haven't tried this out yet)
4773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What "facts" you heard about Bitcoin is not true? on: March 09, 2016, 10:08:19 AM
I had actually heared following things in advance before starting with bitcoin:
- bitcoin transactions are instant (depending on the fee, they can take a couple minutes, hours or even days)
- bitcoin transactions are free (but without a fee, there's little chance of getting a confirmation)
- bitcoin is anonymous (but instead it is pseudo-anonymous)
- bitcoin is used for illegal activities (i'm sure it does, but so does fiat, gold, diamonds,...)
- it's free money when you mine bitcoin (but instead, you'll need to know what  you're doing to even ROI nowadays)
4774  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Hope depot on: March 09, 2016, 08:01:09 AM
If you correct your title, you might have a better chance of finding those cards

change "Hope depot"
to
[WTB] home depot gift cards

So, you're apparently giving out 44 million dollar loans (800.000.000 pesos =~ +44.000.000 dollars according to google), but you use a hotmail address?
Seems rather strange to me.

Also, you're writing on a bitcoin forum, and you don't offer loans in bitcoin? Looks like you won't have much business here?

Difficult to find out , you can try on blockseer.com if you find something.

I had no idear a tool like this existed... The graphical way of following funds is really cool.
Thanks for sharing the link  Grin
4779  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Gift Cards for Hotels.com on: March 04, 2016, 12:34:16 PM
Can you tell me a couple of things:
- where did you acquire them?
- are they country-specific?
- will they expire?

And, last but not least:
- do you accept escrow?

I take my wife and kid for short trips several times a year, so i might be interested in the future, but only in case they are (verifyable) legally obtained, can be used in my country, have a longer expiration date, and a reputable escrow is used to hold the funds untill the gift card is redeemed.
4780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can I find the owner of that address. on: March 04, 2016, 12:09:41 PM
hi evey body,
how can I find the owner of that address:[ website/or name]
https://blockchain.info/address/18zGCEFT5RrahLf84QUtAvSDVKiD4bR6Df

The addresses that are from the same wallet can be found here:
https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/00250cc0b0f69f8d/addresses

next to that, i guess it's basically hoping you get a hit on one of these adresses on google, bitcointalk, blockchain.info, reddit, or any other major cryptocurrency forum.
