4761  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $3000 on: June 11, 2017, 06:34:39 PM
Yes it's on the way. This is impressive since no big trend is established recently for price to reached that level if ever. Pure normal market move on a moderate speed and not on a burst. We might see the price will land to an unexpected price range once price rally will happened again. Hopefully the slow phase will continue before it will performed again a large boost.

I think this thread should be in Speculation section.

4763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: June 10, 2017, 05:51:46 PM

many people like this , leave their job just for bitcoin .. bitcoin is good job, you can work without cv and important thing is bitcoin can give you more money than offline your job

Money can earned but the feeling of being happy with your workmates is priceless. I understand those who leave job maybe because of financial struggle and they need to earned more or they are not already fit to their work and fount it stressed but for people like me who can do both works online or real world, it doesn't making sense to leave my job.

The only comparison for this is the income that I can get but there also things that present in real life job that is not present in bitcoin jobs.
4764  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see bitcoin lower than 1000$? on: June 10, 2017, 05:37:23 PM
Some reason that will make bitcoin lower than $1000
1. Critical security issue, in bitcoin engine.
2. Bigexchange get hack
3. Many country banned bitcoin and stop their btc adoption

1. Like what or how?

2. Maybe yes if there's only few numbers of bitcoin exchanges but today there are good numbers of bitcoin exchanges that is considered as BIG and already build a good name so possibility for that is really low unlike in Mt Gox saga where they are the most popular bitcoin exchanges back then so volumes are not disributed.

3.I can't see that will happen. First no reason at all. Second I can't think of a thing why country that already adopted bitcoin (but not as a legal one like in Japan etc) will stop bitcoin adoption. Contrary to that, if they saw some wide usage then legalization will follow. There are already countries who banned bitcoin but I doubt other countries will follow.
4765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin? on: June 10, 2017, 04:10:15 PM
I do not think that bitcoin will crash.  If ever then every cryptocurrency will crash also because all its value are depending or based on bitcoin.  It is close to impossible that people would switch or stay with altcoin.  Bitcoin is proven and recognized now as a legit digital currency.  Considering that there are new altcoins emerging, the tendency is there are many scam of it.
Are you sure about that? Perhaps your confidence is based on the fact that bitcoin is growing in value and at the moment the demand for bitcoins grows. It's good, but who knows how long this situation can continue? Any currency without an economy cannot exist. You see the economy of bitcoin? I do not see, and therefore can not exclude the fact that bitcoin is a pyramid and all pyramids collapse.

If that is the scenario then all altcoins will have the same fate including the one you advertising.

Didn't you know that while bitcoin is having a good support continously in the market, that's the thing that making it as a strong. Bitcoin crash is possible but today I can't see it and I will only giving 0.5% for that to happened.

Can you tell me what are some of the reasons that will make bitcoin crash according to your own "analytics"? We might discussed those along with other people in the community. Let me be your guest here.
4766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: June 10, 2017, 03:26:44 PM

I do not think so, Bitcoin investment is much more risky than other investment because you see no one presentative for that kind of that investments so that it can not protect you from being scam

Majority of people wants an idea of becoming an own bank.

So for bitcoin investment, it should obvious that we, bitcoin users that currently holding bitcoin is the one who must to keep our coins safe and sound. Scam is part of online world but can we step up on how we can avoid being scammed? We need to adjust here so that we can minimize the risk even by less %%%%. Like in any investment, we must take care of the risk so that we are sure that our goal will be achieved in a long run.
4767  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: June 10, 2017, 02:55:30 PM
REALLY!!! Liking it a lot now a days. Playing each hour and getting atlas $2-$3 per day from the site. It is not much but it is free and thats why it is amazing!! Whoever it is, thats for introducing such a good site. I love it to go on freebitcoin everyday and click that recaptcha and play roll button. Lol. Its HI-LO game however is not that provably favour as it says but I still like it playing. Sometimes I put automatic mode on and it gives me good profits or atlas it doesn't make me loose my money. Good one!

Are you sure you get $2-$3 per day by claiming the faucet only? Logically you can claim 24x per day and the minimum faucet amount is $0.02 = 24 * 0.02 = $0.48 unless you get the 2nd lowest reward $0.2 several times per day. Are you so lucky enough to get $0.2 several times per day?

Maybe he have lot of active referrals. Also it's possible that he is very lucky gambler. But it's impossible to earn $2-3 only by claiming from faucet each day.

Even with lots of referrals, reaching that amount without risk is not close to reality. I doubt that all of his referrals is active, even they are, the rewards are low that the word "lots" meaning "really a lots".

To make things clear, claimnants like thatmust provide a proof or else it's just a trolling post here just to have a post count. I will believe if it's on the past as Im earning $1 too with hard work faucets and referrals only but today it's damn hard.
4768  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Theres a way to know the current fee's??? on: June 08, 2017, 08:55:45 PM
Hello people...

Im a Coinbase user/client but i wanna know is there a way to know the current fee before send BTC/satoshis to another address.

Im asking this because the rate's are always changing to i wanna know its there a way to know, if dont, can you tell me the current fee of coinbase please?...

Coinbase varies from around BTC0.0009 to BTC0.0012 as far as my recent transactions there is concerned (for about almost a week now). That is a standard one I think and mostly transactions are being confirmed in 3 to 4 hours.

Yes I suggest also to use the site mentioned above to see the current fees: https://bitcoinfees.21.co if you think Coinbase fees were far from what it should be.
4769  Economy / Goods / Re: MYSTERY BOX!!!1 on: June 08, 2017, 08:29:58 PM
Im curious about those Mystery Boxes. Sadly Im from Philippines.

Any way/s I can deal with those? Intrigued with the comments around. Shocked

Shipping cost would make this prohibitive, but if you know some one in the US who also owns one perhaps they can reship one for you. Sorry I couldn't help you.

None in the U.S but how about Canada? I just don't know the exact location of him. I know someone there who can do the shipping for me.

Any instructions if it's applicable?
4770  Economy / Speculation / Re: remember bitcoin on: June 08, 2017, 08:05:50 PM
Less than a year ago people were saying bitcoin wont reach a thousand dollars.

That is all

Most of people speculate back then that if ever $1,000 will be reached, expect a big dump after it. Also I remember after the halving, price behaves and no such movement of price increase that's why only few speculate that the price will reached above $1,000.

But I understand them. Majority of us here build speculation because we all don't know what will happen in the future. We can really say that speculation is one of the factor even at less percentage why bitcoin price is increasing.
4771  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: From $25 to about $200. My most challenging Trade so far on: June 08, 2017, 07:43:47 PM
Hi Ucy,

Thanks for your powerful inspiration. As i am new in trade,I am confused which coin i should start. Can you suggest me which coin i can trade as my first investment.

best regards,
Zrs

Suggestions might lead to your investment be wreck. Much better if you will do some self study about that since you are still on the status of being a confused meaning you don't have idea after all. Spend time to learned those things to avoid confusion.

There are coins that is preferrably fit for long term and short term. One good example for long term is our very own BTCitcoin itself. Long term holding of it can give us profits and it already proven. Now on altcoins, they are much prone to pump and dump so for now don't just invest and joined some discussion here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=224.0

On your journey, you will encountered good comments and troll so better be cautious on how will you analyzed it.
4772  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Storing on Exchange vs mobile? on: June 08, 2017, 07:08:34 PM
I know none of them are optimal. But if you had to choose, would you store your coins on an exchange or on a mobile wallet?

For storing purposes none.

But if such cases that I need to choose to one of them then I will select mobile wallet that isn't owned by bitcoin exchanges. Bitcoin exchanges like Coinbase, XAPO, Coinsbank etc. have mobile app version. That was some of the examples that I will not used for storing the bitcoin case. Electrum and Mycelium would be the best option. Aside from we can keep our private keys here, they are both having a good feedback since their inception as a wallet. For satisfaction, don't just listen to positive reviews but try it for yourself and sees if the feedback is quite close to reality.
4773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do N00b gamblers "Level Up"? on: June 08, 2017, 06:49:00 PM

There are things you do differently today than you did on your first day. If you could go back and tell yourself something beyond "Don't bet on the Lakers in the finals vs the Pistons", what would it be? What have you learned? What should we teach n00bs just coming into this area if our intent is for them to have fun?

-Learned to analyzed what are those things and reasons why you lose.

-Don't be a greed. Play with the fair odds which you think will give you more chances of winning. It's fine to take the high odds with high risk but be responsible when doing it and you must also know that you are adding some risk here.

-If people see the game will be a closed one, then try different betting options.

-Care for other's analyzation and references alongside with  their backups claims but not you will just follow it. Make way to have your own analyzation too.

4775  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo fees is too high. on: June 08, 2017, 05:42:53 PM
Why xapo transaction fees are too high? The current standard fee is around 0.00222938 BTC which it mean 6$. https://in.xapo.com/fees/
I don't know why it's too high like that. because according to https://bitcoinfees.21.co/
We can see: The fastest and cheapest transaction fee is currently 400 satoshis/byte, which it mean 90,400 satoshis.

Do you own your private key using Xapo (sound like an outright copycat on Zappos, I might as well open up a company called Mikosov or Epol or Emizon)?

Don't use Xapo.

I remember trying to use it back in 2014 and the wallet stop me from withdrawing my savings unless I send them my entire DNA (ID, driver's license, bank statement, utility bill, etc) for verification. Luckily I got only like 80000 satoshi inside. Imagine if I have a much bigger amount saved, I would be screwed. They have no right and no obligation to collect any personal information by law. And their service is just 3rd party, which means you don't own what you have saved in its wallet. Don't be stupid. Stay away from Xapo.

Your reply is far away from what OP is concerned.

He is not asking us for our personal experience in XAPO disregarding the transaction fees. OP is talking about the $6 transaction fees applied as standard fee. Honestly most of the exchanges have higher transaction fees and I think it can even goes up to $10 while bitcoin price is increasing due to demand. And I don't think XAPO will benefit to this since if you will look at your transaction id, the fees are really applied. All my transactions are being fair. Just don't know about the others if the fees are really applied to their transactions.

Case is not alone with Xapo. I have observed many other wallets like BTC.com etc are charging compulsive fees over and above network fees. I guess problem is not with these wallets but with us who are using these web wallets and giving them ultimate power to control our Bitcoin. Better quit web wallets!

Even users are not using web wallets, othes wallets are having high fees too (e.g Mycelium) so what's the difference of them about our concern to fees? All users are affected here no matter the wallet is used. If you will setup a low fees then goodluck on how long it will confirmed.

Over 24 hours since I contacted support. Still no answer. Anything I can do?

You have to wait. They are the only one who can help you.

You mean you changed your password via FORGOT PASSWORD right? (obviously) and then when you are about to Reset Password (via link), your account have now been frozen? Maybe there's something wrong in the process or you might login your account multiple times with wrong password that triggered your account to be frozen. Anyways no matter what technical guesses we will say here, you must wait for them to response.
4778  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: June 06, 2017, 06:03:29 PM
grabe na talaga coins.ph ngayon corrupt n din ba coins.ph ngaun ?
o nabulag na sa pera kaya sobrang taas na ng FEE nila

What fees are you talking about para maliwanag tayo dito?

Miners fee today are talagang mataas. Try to check the standard fees. Even you used other web wallets or I will say kahit anong wallets, may associated standard fees na talaga which is minsan lampas ng 100,000 satoshis. Take note a, di yan high priority. Kapag kinonvert sa $$$ talagang ramdam. I think you need to do some research about sa status ngayon ni bitcoin para di lang tayo puro reklamo.

Di naman siguro tungkol iyan sa buy and sell spread margin kasi sabi mo SOBRANG TAAS NA NG FEE NILA kaya I will assume it's all about the fees when sending bitcoin to other address.

4779  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: June 06, 2017, 05:49:43 PM

Do you mean the whales? Yes they are the ones who are predicting the market and we small time traders will usually just follow them whatever will be the movement of bitcoins price. And it's really uncertain to say when will the price of bitcoin to become stable. So we just need to go along with them just like a water.

I meant to disagree if it will be applied to bitcoin trading. Today's bitcoin price activity are not anymore being controlled by large whales that can dictate what will be the price trend, ups or down. At least in my own knowledge, different people now are being a large hoarders and not just whales like in the past where once they triggered price increase or decrease, surely it will happen because they can shake the market.

The power of whales are now presently seen at altcoin trading. So much control that they can bring up or down the price even in a matter of less than 24h and leaving behind those average altcoin trader especially if the coin is newly established on the exchange. Risky isn't it that's why no matter how trading is unpredictable, we can go with the flow as long as we are eager to win on the long run.
