4761  Economy / Lending / Re: {Request} Need loan of 50-100k$ on: May 12, 2020, 05:27:28 AM
who can provide this to me?
Since you are able to post this in a forum from a working device with internet access you should be located somewhere where pawn brokers and jewellery shops are available. Why not post the details of what you are trying to pawn first before posting?

Another point is that you will face difficulty in sending the collateral to the lender/escrow at this lockdown, so a better option if to find a lender who lives close to you.

However if you are looking to sell that stone you should visit the "Marketplace" section. Wink
4762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One thought about what can happen after the Btc Halving. on: May 11, 2020, 06:29:15 AM
I saw similar threads during the previous halving, speculating about 51% attack and a new thread of on it every few days and then slowly everyone forgot about those after the halving was completed.  Roll Eyes

Since miners who are always willing to use their device to keep mining coins see a decrease in subsidy with every halving, they might be tempted to leave mining. Surely they can, but then the difficulty for mining will reduce making the other miners more enthusiastic to continue mining. Does that affect the network integrity? No.

A couple of miners leaving the scene means a couple of new miners entering the scene too. You will be surprised to see the number of miners who are struggling to compete with the established miners just for a couple of coins. They will seize the opportunity.
4763  Economy / Economics / Re: Some Strategies to Face the Next Crisis on: May 11, 2020, 06:22:40 AM
Its funny how the world has just started seeing the effects of the pandemic and there is a thread for the next crisis.

Like these are the basic things that every human being should follow if they value their money, time and health. Whats new is these other than your own parents teaching you how to spend your money?

The crisis has led to people rethinking thir priorities and not just people, even governments as which sectors to focus on more for development. However these things will be working or seemingly working for few months only after the crisis. Nobody actually does anything to prevent a crisis because they think precautions are a waste if it never actually happens. Actually having a developed nation to handle a crisis is way beyond what the governments had in mind. Remote places in some countries cant even afford proper electricity in places even today still they are just an exception.

I would like to ask the OP, "Ways to earn extra cash?" Is that a troll statement you making there or are you serious? People will be killing to get a job after the crisis you know.
4764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A Passive Income on: May 11, 2020, 06:12:22 AM
The price of the masternode coins is very volatile in a short amount of time, so the actual price of IQ coin and its passive income from masternode could decrease easily during the coming weeks and months.
Price of any asset is changing everyday because it is being traded. However no masternode coin is going to become the next bitcoin as far as price is concerned. So you might see most of them actually depreciating their value like anything and after some months you will find yourself holding a couple of masternodes which have no value any more while bitcoin is going up like anything.

Quote
The best method to make a passive income is by holding the most valuable cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin, Ethereum, for several months or years.
You will get that passive income if you sell and buyback not just holding them. Compared to masternodes they are better obviously.
4765  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: May 11, 2020, 06:09:03 AM
Does anyone know if the first withdrawal normally has a delay? Got an email saying because it is my first withdraw they have to go through security checks.
You can contact their live support system by the small bubble in the lower right corner of the webpage. It may have been triggered by some security protocol. For the ease of mind talking their support team might give you some ease. However you might have to wait for sometime because they are understaffed in this situation and you might need to provide some information regarding the source of the money if they find it to be suspicious.

I hope you get your money soon though. Nobody likes it when it happens to them.
4766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of Gambling Investments and Discussion. on: May 10, 2020, 07:04:06 AM
So I just found out about this thread and saw myself featured in it. (famous eh? Grin)

Likewise @Yatsan has made a thread to follow up their investments on casinos that allow doing so and if someone wants any guidance about bankroll investing they can ask me or Yatsan about it.

Let me make it clear that I am not promoting any site or their investment schemes but it is a good idea to invest and be the house at times than try to beat it. Old saying "If you cant beat 'em, join 'em".

Now the drawbacks are that just like a fixed deposit in a bank the returns from this investment are small. That is acceptable because the risk of long term loss is less than other investments. People need to understand this clearly that when you are investing in something that is a high risk (say shitcoins Cheesy) then you return is projected to be high too and when you are investing in something of low risk (say bank fixed deposit, casino bankroll) then the return is projected to be low too.

If someone wants a diverse portfolio then I believe there needs to be a good distribution between low risk and high risk assets. Casino bankroll is a low risk asset. It should not be your entire portfolio but a part of it. How much? that is your own choice.
4767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Store of Value on: May 10, 2020, 06:52:44 AM
Yes, bitcoin volatility is the biggest risk that makes some people reconsider investing.
Is it not the volatility of the stock market that makes traders become attracted to it like bees to flowers? Similar case here. People buy bitcoin because they speculate on its prices to go up and sell to make a profit. Although the volatility a few months back was less than 5% per day but now with the halving coming in the prices have been soaring and dropping.

In addition to funds, investing in bitcoin also requires mental readiness, as if we are marketed. But this decade is enough to prove that bitcoin can be a very good alternative.
Investing in any risk based reward system need mental preparation and more important an entry and exit strategy. People fail mostly with all of these points and this leads to wrong decisions in the middle of the market and what we popularly call as "gone rekt".
4768  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people run away from trading!!! on: May 10, 2020, 06:48:38 AM
I don't believe in 'lack of patience' in trading, it does works sometimes but not Everytime, waiting in patience can land you in further loses too, trading can be read but can't be trusted every time .
You know what? We can divide the traders into two groups for the sake of simplicity. One group is trading altcoins daily and others are holding bitcoin for long term. If we see this "patience" thing, then the second group has it so much so that they are holding for years to sell at good price. But the altcoin lovers are seeing huge dumps for years and thus are desperate to come out of the rabbit hole which they dug years back in lieu of some false promises.

The best strategy is to split your Bitcoin or whatever coin you are using for trading in two, e.g you have 1 Bitcoin, split into two and use half to buy usdt, if Bitcoin goes up you have more gains if Bitcoin loses value you buy back with the USDT
This is a bad choice. You should buy bitcoin with USD and then hold it for long term. Holding USDT for liquidity is bad choice. Use USD itself if your exchange allows it to be deposited from bank. But if not then yes you have to continue with USDT.
4769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Full Member and lock for Bounty campaign. on: May 10, 2020, 06:40:28 AM
Whats the process of getting to full member. i am really looking forward to being a full member
Well you have to earn merits and gain activity to reach the rank. Getting activity is not difficult because you need to post regularly and gain 14 activity points every fortnight but still the rate limiting step is the merit, which is going to be a problem for those who come here only to do bounties and gain money from them. If you are one of them you can forget about ranking up.

In general you get merits when someone reads your post and gives you merit from their sMerit. Thus your posts need to be something worth getting merit in order to get them and not just generic posts, oneliners and so on.

But overall joining a bitcoin paying campaign is much better than joining a bounty campaign. Comparing these two one can easily say that bitcoin signature campaigns are worth getting into if you have a reach a rank and has more chances of being in this forum for a longer period of time.
4770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Crash game more risky ? on: May 09, 2020, 06:30:40 AM
The reason why crash game make people lose money is because they are greedy and thats is why they have come to the casino. In other words greed kills but I guess it is not needed to be said since the player is a gambler.

Just like a dice game can make you lose your bet amount in just a single bet similarly crash game can also make you lose. It is not supposed to be a method to make money but a mode of entertainment only. See the multiplier go up and you keep dreaming and dont cash out - sounds like greed killing you does it not?

Proper mathematical analysis of the house edge might yield similar results as what other EV- games like dice gives. Crash is definitely not an EV+ game.
4771  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where could i learn about trading? on: May 09, 2020, 06:26:25 AM
Many channel give update information about basic way in trading, you can learn fist step how to begin trading in exchange market from deposit and withdraw your assets, then you can update with other news talking about cryptocurrency to update which one good coin have good news for investing.
Depositing and withdrawing is not that important to be looked for because every exchange out there has a tutorial on how to do that because it is the only first thing to be done.

However for improving trading skills as the OP says, it is not possible to comment unless the OP evaluate their available skills. In fact the first thing that I would suggest the OP is to learn to read between the charts and understand to correlate with the news of that market. If these things seem to work then try using that knowledge to predict movements. If this does not work then there is possibility of pump and dump and wash trading.

Reading fundamentals and technical are both important. For that go for some stock market teaching videos. They explain it better than self-proclaimed altcoin bagholder youtubers who shill their own coins for dumping.
4772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Always consider and be a wise investor! on: May 09, 2020, 06:21:14 AM
Why would a new investor take unnecessary risks?
Taking risks is the sign of an investor. They take risks because every risk corresponds to a reward to be gained. Now in the crypto market you cannot trust any project coming up to be a successful one, heck even any new project is going to be a scam in the long/mid term. With that said older established coins are worth trading on if you have the guts to or hold for long terms gains.

It is always possible to take a calculate risk and do research on the background of the project, though it is not going to a 100% full proof method and it is more applicable for the stock market companies which are large cap ones, still it is applicable to altcoins.
4773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Extremely low bounty rewards on: May 09, 2020, 06:15:59 AM
The rewards for bounty participation are varied, sometimes lower, sometimes extremely generous.
Depends on what you are joining on and whether you have high rank. Of course those who have a higher rank would not waste time on bounty campaigns but go for the bitcoin paying signature campaigns. They are stable enough to be worth a long term affiliation and most are legitimate projects.

Quote
I consider this forum to be the top forum in the crypto world.
It is the largest and only out there.

Quote
The rewards are not always great, but it depends a lot on the project. Especially not to sell immediately after receiving a reward.
I would suggest you to not go for the bounties any more. They are always the same story. Worthless tokens and cannot be sold easily because of lack of liquidity. All because the project was never having any potential however convincing the team may have made it seem. It never works out. Its better to join a bitcoin paying campaign.
4774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the odds of winning the casino on: May 08, 2020, 06:36:03 AM
Any games that would give you big winning has a high house edge, sometimes people got attracted to the winning without realizing their chances of winning.
You might be knowing there are some noobs who think playing on a casino means making money either due to some false perception or someone told them to sign up using their affiliate link and said so and they believe it blindly. So its not uncommon to get people into wasting their money by showing them winnings. Thats also why casinos post about big wins in their social media channels but would not talk about big losses, you can understand it. Fact is that one needs to evaluate the fact that both sides are possible in any game Cheesy

Quote
The odds always defends on the certain kind of game you will play and whatever games it is, there's always a house edge if you are betting against the house.
The chances that the casino can lose are lower than the player but considering that the casino was been winning more frequently the average bet will lead to an accumulation of money thus a single loss in a hundred big wins for the casino is not something to be bothered about. Thats the edge the house has over the players.
4775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Mist Vs MyEtherWallet on: May 08, 2020, 06:27:56 AM
I haven't heard of the Mist wallet, is this really made by the Ethereum devs? Because it's not suggested by their main website that shows the suggested Ethereum wallets.
Yes Mist is the only desktop wallet that people have been using for Ethereum.

But the problem is that Mist is much less user-friendly if you compare with established bitcoin desktop wallets like Electrum. I had used it like 2years back but I dont know things have improved nowadays.

I prefer to use MEW because it gives me a lot of versatility is terms of control over the coins and ease in sending ether and tokens to other wallets. Moreover using the Metamask addon with the wallet is the safest you can be when a proper desktop wallet is not that good. Of course there are many android wallets too but I prefer the desktop or MEW offline over them.
4776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A Passive Income on: May 08, 2020, 06:22:47 AM
Some posts in this thread are just to shill their own shitcoin and nothing more. I agree with the rest of the users here. PoS coins are hyped way more than what people should actually invest. In fact they are not even worth your time if you value your money and want to get something good in return. Masternodes and PoS coins are all shitcoins just bagholders selling off their stakes to noobs and keeping them pumped up on telegram and discord groups to buy that coin. Nothing more than a manipulated pump and dump or even worse, when the owners sell off their coins and stop communication.

People need to learn these methods of getting scammed before putting in money into such schemes.
4777  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can't Log-in to Binance on: May 08, 2020, 06:16:14 AM
My username and pw seem to be correct but its not accepting any 6 digit google authenticator code.
Time correct on the authenticator app should fix this problem. Make sure your login credentials are correct as well. If it still does not work contact their support and explain the problem.

Hope it gets fixed and let us know in the replies about future details and how it got fixed because someone else might run into a similar problem.
It happens to me many times. For me restarting my phone and changing the time zone works
Changing time zones is a bit far-fetched. Have you tried time correction?
4778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uber or Airbnb running on bitcoin on: May 07, 2020, 06:23:06 AM
In my opinion, in this situation it is much easier to pay in cash or by credit card, because. The commission for the transfer of Bitcoins will be quite high, and if this is a trip that is very short distance, then this commission may be even more than the amount itself.
For a short distance, use your common sense, would you not prefer to use the public transport, leaving out this lockdown crisis that is if things were normal? It both easier on the pocket and better for your health.

For a medium to long distance travel you would want to have a nice seat with AC and amenities and thus a cab or a privately booked car would be good, thats where the biggest payment is there. For those who use ride hailing every day, it is mostly medium range travel distances. There the hypothetical "fee" would be good enough. But again that is way beyond the current line of thought since first bitcoin needs to be made a tradable and transcatable asset for users which is already a big hurdle.
4779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to know whether it is right to join bounties? on: May 07, 2020, 06:18:25 AM
account should be clean? I guess he meant, don't break the rules in the forum so you won't get negative trust.
I think so and I advised them likewise, but I hope the OP reads the posts made and does not just leave this thread hanging. I have seen previous such threads where the OP has left and makes no sense if the OP has genuine question in mind. They should also lock this thread if the replies have been satisfactory enough.

Quote
You don't have to worry about reporting tasks and yes you can do both, rank up your account(but need merits) and also can earn, join signature campaign.
Merit sources have the habit of overlooking bounty hunters. It is something to move away from nowadays if you wish to earn some merits, then you gain a rank and probably should join a signature campaign later on instead of wasting time on bounty campaigns.
4780  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: May 07, 2020, 06:14:59 AM
I don't think that E-Sports was so popular among people before the pandemic.  Even fortune Jack introduced esports on their site in this pandemic. Many sites took the similar steps because no other sports were live in these days. Due to this many new people begin to know about esports.
Since the crisis has led to a stop on games like Tennis, Soccer, the games that can be played from home like e-sports and its betting are currently gaining a momentum. So it is a good choice for FJ too to focus on this market and provide odds to bet on for e-sports. Thats how the casino industry works, someone wants to bet on something and the provider provides the place to bet on that.

Hoping to more and more games added to FJ but of course esports has its biggest share in games like CSGO, DOTA and so on and this never really changes. Wink
