4761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End of memecoin season by Vitalik Buterin or not? on: May 12, 2021, 10:56:07 PM
People investing in this kind of project meme coins should understand the risk and learn how to dispose of in the right time, we can only do this if we are in control of our greed, people losing on this kind of project because they waited for more profit the project can give them, they eventually realize that wishing for more profit is risky behavior.
4762  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit took my deposit/winnings and closed my account on: May 11, 2021, 12:46:55 AM
1xbit scammed me out of my money and time. Another one bites the dust.

My account has been closed with 20 mbt in it, that I deposited. They are just stealing money. Account 291618393 just in case I get lucky and find them here

Can you clarify this, you play on 1XBIT because you find it here, all topics about 1XBIT are all about how they scammed their members, you are not reading the whole topic here there are so many scam reports about 1XBIT and yours is no different, you are putting the blame on Bitcointalk for finding it here, you should be responsible for your action.
4763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling risks during coronavirus pandemic on: May 11, 2021, 12:40:43 AM

  • Seek expert advice if you feel your gambling activities are getting out of hand. BeGambleAware.org is a very good place to start.

Experts advice is highly recommended because every gambler have different characters and needs to get back to normal life what works for others may not work for one gambler, it should be tailored to the gambler's needs and only experts can provide that set of medication to get the gambler into normal life.
4764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty managers should try to help bounty hunters get their rewards on: May 10, 2021, 02:16:49 AM
Currently, there are indeed many cases regarding bounty managers who do not help participants to seek payments. in the Reputation selection you can check many bounty managers who have problems because there is no clarity regarding payments. This certainly makes many participants disappointed because their rights to what they do do not receive payment as they should

It will tarnish their image if they are reported not helping qualified bounty hunters to receive their rewards, I have seen many bounty managers losing their reputation and their job because of too many complaints coming from bounty hunters, the community will tagged this manager while the developer of the project will also have a scam report, the bounty manager must use an escrow to guaranty that bounty hunters will get their shares.
4765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Coin On PANCAKESWAP on: May 09, 2021, 11:25:35 PM
PANCAKESWAP is a fairly new crypto exchange. Many new cryptocurrencies are introduced there everyday.

Are you any scam coins on this site? Anybody faced any scam coins there before?

If you are going to trade on decentralized exchanges you get this warning and you should not ignore this warning and always follow the DEX's warning, scammers know that there are careless people who will ignore warnings because they are in a hurry to trade.

4766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Billy Joe Saunders - May 8 on: May 09, 2021, 10:37:56 PM

so it was the right decision for him to quit as he may have had suffered more if he did continue. Saunders' injury is not a small one. hope he can recover good from this surgery. now, we are looking forward who's gonna be next for Canelo. he will be a bankable boxer for a time now.

Canelo ended it with one punch in round 7 the punch that broke Saunders landed perfectly on a counter and based on his interview he knows that he hurt Saunders badly, that's all Canelo can give us he just needs one big punch and he can end everything, but Saunders put up a big resistance, but he just can't go on like this the whole fight, Canelo will soon catch him.
4767  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another Halving, Another ATH on: May 08, 2021, 08:19:58 PM
We may not see another major bull run that will take over from the current ATH of $64,863.10. In 2017 when the ATH that many began to notice bitcoin happened, it was a year after and it started ranging, then heavy correction followed till the current halving. Now we are about a year from the last halving, we have also seen an ATH , I thinking we may be in ranging time now as altcoins are beginning to bull. Ethereum is running higher and now selling at $3,160 , other altccoins doing some increase ,it happened that way in 2017 .

It's the best halving effect so far, I can't imagine how good the coming halvings are but I have not seen the full effect of the halving until we finish this year, some of the altcoins have reached and break their all-time high, and Dogecoin is hitting big time right now and it's unexpected, after the last halving we have seen a lot of surprise and we will see more throughout the year.
4768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Musk is going to hurt the Crypto Industry, sign this petition on: May 08, 2021, 02:28:21 PM
This gonna be ignored for sure, elon himself doesn't openly pursue people into pumping certain coin and manipulating the market so the purpose of the petition itself is kinda futile,
you're essentially telling elon to stop tweeting about doge if that's the case, he don't even disclose his possession of cryptocurrencies. Even if your petition makes it to be signed by million of people and elon stopped tweeting crypto, i'm pretty damn sure people would still find another famous billionaire to follow

So far it's not gaining ground checking the petition and it does not even reach 300 signatories, this is immature on the part of the petition starter, he has no business interrupting or minding other people's investment, as long as they know the risk, and they are investing their own money I don't think you cannot stop these people from investing, it's an open market and to each is own here.
4769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 07, 2021, 06:06:29 AM
I really don’t think the fight was staged. Besides this being the kind of antics Jake Paul is known for, he ended up with a broken nose and a black eye. I think Floyd probably wouldn’t have committed an offense that could get him arrested if it were staged.

If I am Paul I would just let it pass and consider this as part of the hype, they have generated a lot of fo interest and he is going to make a lot of money if the fight did push, Mayweather could opt to cancel the fight, their lawyers and promoters will definitely intervene, everybody like this fight to happen, I would like this fight to happen so Paul will finally get a beating he deserves.
4770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Musk doesn't tweet Dogecoin, can it still soar? on: May 07, 2021, 05:27:18 AM
Dogecoin is a coin without team and core technology, but Musk made it appear in the general public. Many people who are not cryptocurrency traders are buying Dogecoin, just like buying BTC. Why does it succeed? Is it just because of Musk? Dogira, Shiba, HOGE, who will be the next Dogecoin?

Elon musk support of Dogecoin comes at the right time there are new people coming in looking for new coins to invest and because Elon is very popular, new investors come to support Elon, it's a domino effect people comes in to invest because they see the profit that people are going to make, there's still risk if the time comes when Elon dumps his Dogecoin shares.
4771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope others will learn from this on: May 07, 2021, 01:09:05 AM
That's the worst thing that can happen, losing your coin because you lose the opportunity to swap to a new one, even if you are holding the token for a long time you should get at least updates on their social media and group channels, don't just look on the price on the market, check where the project is going to, some developers will not let you swap your coin if you are late in swapping it.
4772  Economy / Speculation / Re: The total BTC balance on exchanges continuously decreasing since 2020 on: May 05, 2021, 01:50:45 AM
a safe way as well as a concern if the wallet containing Bitcoin is lost, the secret word is not properly guarded. withdrawing Bitcoin from Exchange is a long-term goal. But what's the harm in keeping it on an exchange and not traded, is it at a loss? and if it is lost it will be the responsibility of the exchange, but if it is stored in a hard wallet and is lost, only you are responsible.
so which one is more effective and safer when securing your Bitcoin?
I still opted to be responsible for my coins than depositing them on exchange and trust and pray that I can always access it and they will not get hacked, by holding my coins and responsible for coins I can consider myself a responsible holder of course I should be educated and well known on how to protect my wallet and my coins.
4773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: May 03, 2021, 10:14:28 PM
This has been asked so many times before but I cannot access information about nodes right now, I cannot connect my wallet there are no nodes, I have deleted my idena application download the latest version but I still do not have nodes running, how can I fix this?
4774  Economy / Speculation / Re: May 13th, Bitcoin will surge to $70k or it will be dump? on: May 03, 2021, 09:18:43 PM
I know we already heard the rumor if Alibaba has bought $20billion in bitcoin. They will publish their unaudited Q1 2021 report on this May 13th,

Source : https://www.google.com/amp/s/zycrypto.com/alibaba-rumored-to-have-bought-20-billion-in-bitcoin-will-this-come-to-fruition/%3famp

What do you think? If this really true, remember what happened when TESLA announced they have invested $1.5billion in BTC?

Quote
USA: Tesla buys $1,5bn in Bitcoin. China: Alibaba, hold my beer.
Honestly, I am not aware of the rumors and many people here are not but if the rumors are confirmed to be true expect a massive pump and $70k is just a start, people want confirmation people they invest, majority of investors are weak hands and part of the domino effect, who will just follow the market trend and whales whenever there is movement in the market.
4775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BITGESELL - Store of value (Burn rate is 90% of tx fees) #realstoreofvalue on: May 03, 2021, 01:24:12 PM
The idea of a currency that burns transaction fees has been around for a long time. The proof is that XRP completely burns transaction fees after each transaction.
Burning transaction fees will reduce the number of coins in circulation and create value for the cryptocurrencies held in the market.
Bitgesell is a new project whose marketing capabilities are growing over time. The project's capitalization is low and looks at a potential.
It really has a good potential in the future, I'm glad and blessed that the signature campaign is ongoing I have the opportunity to accumulate more Bitgesell, Hotbit is still not online for those whose Bitgesell is locked on Hotbit this is the update on the status of Hotbit

https://hotbit.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500008915521-

Follow the update they give status as often as they can daily.
4776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Dogecoin overpriced? on: May 02, 2021, 11:20:04 PM
People ignore coins that were worthless before, because they thought who was the one who gave the full support behind Dogecoin, and now Elon Musk's tweet has a positive impact on Dogecoin which makes the price soar even more like it is now, and people are also taking advantage of this golden opportunity to invest in it

If this could happen to Dogecoin it can happen to other coin, investors have low regards for Dogecoin a year ago but after Elon Musk thew his support, it has a big turn around, I don't think Elon Musk will stop on Dogecoin he will try to find other coins that are worth creating hype, but what coin is that is a big question, so keep holding coins that are similar to Dogecoin.
4777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Feel Pressed Something while Gambling on: May 02, 2021, 11:11:08 PM

the image above is just an illustration of someone who "feels pressured" when gambling.

The information is not complete we can only speculate, maybe he is high on drugs or drunk or had a problem controlling himself, these things happen some people are so into it, that they forgot they are doing something, there's a match in MMA where one of the fighters takes a pee while fighting, this is unnatural but these things do happen to some people.
4778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BITGESELL - Store of value (Burn rate is 90% of tx fees) #realstoreofvalue on: May 02, 2021, 10:00:03 PM

I hope Hotbit would be able to recover as although they don't lose money but losing sensitive information entrusted to them is a big risk to their reputation. of all the 3 exchanges that listed Bitgesell, I found hotbit as the easiest to use, if they can't grow volume on hotbit, maybe they need to add more exchanges.

Hotbit is not yet accessible, with two million members waiting for the update and database deleted by the hackers they need to upload a copy to their server, this is the kind of news that we all waiting for because it's useless to log in if we cannot have our login details, this is another example of not putting your coins for a long period of time, the risk is just too high now, hackers are always on the works.
4779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you want become Rich from HODL? HODL ETH! Read here for the reason!! on: May 02, 2021, 09:31:56 PM
It's hard to ignore Ethereum, it's the second most popular coin in the market and it's on everyone's portfolio, they have introduced a lot of innovation in the market and they continue to introduce and the majority of investors know this and they are all in the buying spree, if you are not holding Ethereum then you will miss a lot of profit, even if you are a small investor you should prioritize Ethereum besides Bitcoin.
