4761  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there a pattern when there is a dump like this? on: July 19, 2021, 07:55:15 AM
There is always a pattern but it is hard to predict on which pattern will going to launch is it the dump or the pump Sometimes we depend on our luck on choosing the coin to invest because crypto coin price is always unstable. And we don't know what will happen after we buy during dip we don't know if it will rise or continue to drop down. So for me it is more wise if we don't depend on the pattern news and updates or development of the coin that we are holding is more important than pattern.

There is NOT always a pattern, only the ones we choose to see and believe. Patterns are retrospective. We only build them once we trace out the lines, and often, we already know what we want to find, so we do the timeframes and the pointers that suit our preferred findings.

Anyway, looking at your history of posts, I'm sure you don't really know what you're talking about;)
4762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Bitcoin community a DAO? on: July 19, 2021, 07:07:31 AM
I remember in 2020 especially when there were a LOT of Defi companies claiming they wanted to build a DAO when I commented in one place that you cannot simply build one you can only make it conducive for one to take place. Which is what Bitcoin did. Shitcoins hate to admit but Bitcoin is the only decentralized organisation there is in crypto.
4763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: July 18, 2021, 05:14:24 PM
arallmuus wow I had no idea so much time had past already since the last hit. So now that means 73 days (as we missed two days without Blackjack) and even longer for those who actually missed the wins. Yesterday came so close!

But we who are loyal, here is today's chance once more in Brasil!
4764  Economy / Speculation / Re: David Gokhshtein: Bitcoin Price Will Reach $80K on: July 17, 2021, 01:56:09 PM
2017 was totally unexpected but most people would say 3x of the old ATH was the bare minimum Bitcoin should do and it's already done.

We have a wide variety of people saying different things from 2x, 3x, up to 10x and we also have people saying that we're going to see a drop that's going to range somewhere between 50% to 90%.

tldr; choose not to listen to anyone of them instead. Guessing which of them will be right is like throwing darts on a dartboard.

Oh yeah, I learnt my lessons long time ago, and have been happily holding. I used to wish I'd entered a lot earlier but I'm okay with holding since 2017 and not wasting anymore BTC on shitcoins. I've avoided defi like the plague so I'm also very OKAY there;)

Happy to let everyone move the markets as they please, spend my tiny btc every now and then and contribute to fundamental economy, and that's that:)
4765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digital EURO - What are your thoughts? on: July 17, 2021, 01:20:17 PM
Except e-yuan is most likely using blockchain tech and e-euro has said from early on that they are most likely not using blockchain. So we're going to have a lot of difference at least for me in terms of smart contract use, and possible hacking attempts by white hackers later on. So if euro going digital doesn't do blockchain, how does that acquant people with crypto?

I'm surprised that E-euro will not take advantage of blockchain as this is the future. But in any case, this will be a "force-use" for every citizen, so if you are a crypto enthusiast, you don't have a choice really as the government might implement it and will require every citizens to used it as I understand it.

So there's no different from the old and traditional fiat system, in my opinion. As for the white hackers, it might be a good thing to break the system early and find the loopholes. The problem is that when black hackers exploit it, there is a possibility that they might steal some E-euro for themselves.

It's a great piece of tech I agree, but I also agree it's not necessary to be the future tech for every single type of crypto. e-euro and CBDCs are for sure a great entry for digital currency, but that's an entirely different setup from just saying "crypto".

Like you said, no difference in the fiat system, just on a new highway of digital infrastructure that's all.
4766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: July 17, 2021, 11:42:32 AM
The best for Griezman is joining PSG, or stay in La Liga and return to Atletico Madrid. Will the exchange offer be finished, for Griezman and Joao Felix? I don't think Atletico Madrid will sacrifice Felix to get Griezman.

The Atletico Madrid team is much more stable now. If they get Griezmann in the team with Suarez, then their forward will be strong. The Real Madrid team does not look likely to be too strong next season. If Atletico Madrid are able to increase their strength a bit at the moment, maybe they can win the title next season as well. I think Atletico Madrid will be interested in signing Griezmann.

Please no, don't get Griezmann back (even though it would benefit me more as Barca). I'm happy to see them rising up and be a strong challenger to Barca/Real. But Atletico have done well already in this transfer season, to me. I read Shaqiri and Origi could be coming in for Saul, sounds like a good deal, even though those were fringe players but we saw their brilliance for Liverpool in the odd occassion, imagine if they played more regularly.
4767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think Bitcoin is great as an asset and not as a Currency. on: July 17, 2021, 11:05:36 AM
All you guys saying it's not good for your currency but also on signature campaigns, what are you getting paid in?

btc is if its a btc paying campaign . if not , the payment is made in altcoins and tokens  .

this a btc forum and in order to support btc , there must be a company that will use btc to pay to his participants and if they can afford to advertise here,  they can also afford to pay high fees .

And that's what I meant. People here are receiving BTC as payment, as in, it's currency. Almost everyone commenting has a signature campaign, and the good ones pay out in BTC, the crap ones pay out in shitcoins that aren't worth anything (hence aren't currency). So I just don't get people who say BTC isn't good as a currency when this forum has been proving otherwise for over a decade.
4768  Economy / Speculation / Re: 22 july, BTC 20k$ or 70k$? on: July 17, 2021, 09:35:19 AM
Will we have another drop like we had in 2018? I do not think so, we do not have a war now, we do not have people who will sell a lot now, but we never know what can happen, so we should be ready for some 20k price if the same thing happens this year as well.

That's actually something I was talking about in another thread. Bitcoin actually does very well AFTER a big threat, and this China mining thing to me isn't anywhere as big as the 2017 internal conflict in Bitcoin that caused the 2018 drop, from which we all know it recovered very well from.

We should definitely be ready for below 20k, but it's actually good news if it happens!
4769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC] Eloncoin - Mars, here we come!! 🚀 - POS Energy Efficient. on: July 17, 2021, 08:04:33 AM
You can claim 10k airdrop too. Check #info in the discord. And please, asking such questions would be good in the discord channel. You will get almost instant answer there.
Occasionally, there are some twitters giveaway too. You can follow ElonCoin14 on twitter to get alerts about the giveaway.

Thanks, and yes, I do know Discord's the best place but I can't install Discord on my computer as I access it all from work, but forums is my main chance to keep in touch with everything.

Twitter, social media, all of that I don't do. Not anymore anyway. I know it's a disadvantage in crypto but I want to cut the noise out of my life and focus only on the useful stuff like this forum.

Thanks again for the info!
4770  Economy / Speculation / Re: David Gokhshtein: Bitcoin Price Will Reach $80K on: July 16, 2021, 02:53:12 PM
I was hoping to see the price becoming at least $100k in this year. But I have my doubts about it now. Because it feels like this bear market will take a few more months at least. And then it will start increasing again but it will not reach $100k before the end of the year. But we're talking about a volatile currency so everything is possible of course.

Just going to add some hopium: though I'm not saying that $100k is guaranteed to happen, always remember that the huge price rise from Q4 of 2017 and the huge price rise earlier this year were totally unexpected.

I am hoping that this year's huge price rise wasn't the HUGE price rise though, because if we're being honest 63k still didn't come close to the predictions that a lot of big players were expecting (like this guy Gokshtein saying 80k).

2017 was totally unexpected but most people would say 3x of the old ATH was the bare minimum Bitcoin should do and it's already done.
4771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins to invest in right now on: July 16, 2021, 02:20:16 PM
An updated about BCH:

The bulls are taking a great rest, because now as the BTC market looks very bearish in the short term, they are not relying on the movements at all to raise the price, this means that the price can go much lower, if so you have to wait a little longer for those who want to buy cheaper:

It was and has been hodl mode for me ever since we dropped below $50k for Bitcoin, and I suppose BCH guys are only doing the same. The hashrate drop in BTC should have been a signal for BCH miners to go right back into it too, but I see that it didn't really happen.

Definitely looking more bearish by the day. If it doesn't improve today, Monday will head into new low territory.

4773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digital EURO - What are your thoughts? on: July 16, 2021, 12:49:40 PM
It will look like the E-yuan project from china. and I'm sure it's not crypto. so there will be no effect for the market. the digital euro will not be the driving force for people to become more acquainted with crypto. because it's just an E-money issued by the government. they may be familiar with digital wallets. but not with blockchain and crypto.

Except e-yuan is most likely using blockchain tech and e-euro has said from early on that they are most likely not using blockchain. So we're going to have a lot of difference at least for me in terms of smart contract use, and possible hacking attempts by white hackers later on. 4774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 16, 2021, 12:18:41 PM
Who is your favorite athlete who will still go to Olympics in football? I think for the squad even though there is an age limit of 23, they do allow each country to send 3 (if I'm not mistaken) athletes who are overaged, but I don't know if there's a limit for THAT.

Would be so cool to see Messi try and win it again for Argentina;)
Honestly, I don't care much about football in Olympics. Probably I'm going to watch only final of tournament. Until your post I didn't even knew who will play there. Now I checked squads of teams, lot of no names for me, but Spain squad looks impressive.

I guess Olympics isn't for everyone, but I do like seeing all the other sports in between football. Sometimes it's the only chance you get to watch like good badminton and good track events (who doesn't like to see sprinters and jumpers right I do!).

Check out Italian squad too, a lot of EURO veterans might be playing there:) and Copa squads too!

Lightlord is the creator of ElonCoin but he is not the creator of the ElonCoin staking pool. That's someone else I had met in discord. He has created the pool. There's no pool from the ElonCoin team and this makes no sense to have one also.

Thanks for the clarification! I got the first airdrop already (1250 coins) and I'll be monitoring to see how useful this becomes. I know it's all for fun but I purposely stepped away from this staking game and especially the memecoin game, but I guess it's okay to experiment every now and then (since I have nothing else to do!). Good luck all. Any way to get more coins let us know here!
4776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: July 16, 2021, 10:10:47 AM
Messi with the new contract will end his career in Barcelona and become another legend in Nou Camp, the biggest legend in the club. He deserves it from his contributions, goals, assists, trophies, financial income for the club.

His decision will make his family members happily and it is a happy decision for all, from Barcelona, their fans, to Messi family. Even La Liga will get beneficial effects from the decision. The league will not lose the biggest super star.

Staying in Barcelona and playing more seasons in La Liga will help Messi to get forever record in La Liga. I doubt that there will be other players that can break Messi records.

Well, to be honest, even if he doesn't stay, he will become a legend and everyone will probably even feel more sympathetic to his cause, knowing that he wanted to stay and even extended, but that the club couldn't keep him. I do expect everything to be cleared up before La Liga closes the registrations but it's crazy to see my beloved club in such a mess.
4777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think Bitcoin is great as an asset and not as a Currency. on: July 16, 2021, 08:44:51 AM
All you guys saying it's not good for your currency but also on signature campaigns, what are you getting paid in? I've been using Bitcoin almost chiefly as a currency for almost the entire life of my signature campaign earnings and my currency of choice for gambling here, which is what I'm doing daily almost at bitcointalk. So what are you guys talking about:)
4778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Shiba Inu, the DOGE Killer: a Decentralized Deflationary Store of Value on: July 16, 2021, 08:02:30 AM
CertiK raised $37 million in a Series B funding round led by hedge fund Coatue Management and venture capital firm Shunwei Capital. https://www.certik.io/blog/announcements/certik-completes-series-b-funding#home
The Shiba developers also congratulated CertiK on this achievement and jokingly announced their readiness for a new audit. Smiley

Don't you find it strange that almost all the big rugpulls that happened actually had their contracts certified by Certik (not that I followed all of them but you know, there are just too many to follow at some point)?

Not saying Certik's a scammer but saying that they're still far behind the hackers. And they STILL can raise 37 million? Not bad I guess.
4779  Economy / Speculation / Re: 22 july, BTC 20k$ or 70k$? on: July 16, 2021, 06:54:47 AM
This comes only as not Safe Haven if you are tending to make profit short time , because if you are ready for long term holding then I believe that Bitcoin is still the Safest haven ever crypto provided.

Well, by default definition safe haven tends to refer to long term holding, or at least temporary holding until markets are "safe" again to venture out. You put value into safe haven to protect it, and yes, Bitcoin can drawback as we're seeing right now, but usually not as bad as other crypto. Gold of course seems to hold it even better but long-term gains can't beat Bitcoin

I noticed the game went into Extra time, so the stats counted Extra Time also? I wasn't sure before.
I missed playing this one last night and recorded it a Bust as icopress added the total @ 23.
If anyone played this game and had a different outcome (Push), please share with the thread or PM me so I can update the Official Results.
So 23 was indeed the exact point yesterday, there was nothing wrong with that.

Thanks, yes, I clarified also the result was correct, my bad for trusting my local paper portal which put the result as AET (and has not been taken off as they put a lot of results AET). Then also maybe confused myself talking about it in another thread.

Last night, a lot of goals as expected, althought Canada helped themselves to 2 penalties.

Goals : 5
Cards : 3 (including 1 red)
Corners : 7

A PUSH at 15.
