4781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early Sign to Adopt Bitcoin by Nigerian Government on: November 05, 2022, 05:34:48 PM
Africa has long been viewed as the continent that Bitcoin would be able to help the most.  I've seen this week that one of their largest grocery store chains now accepts Bitcoin on the lightning network.  That's a pretty huge first step to having the currency widely used on the continent.  It seems inevitable at this point.  That makes me think that maybe we're closer to Bitcoin truly mooning something unreal than most might think.  The number available is so staggeringly low, when the entire world is using it as a payment network, even the pocket change people hold would propel the price like we haven't seen before.
4782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metaverse in 2022, which projects are value to invest? on: November 05, 2022, 05:32:49 PM
The metaverse is still young so who knows what's going to win at this point.  Decentraland looked at one point like it would be the future but now there are only a dozen or so people actually using it.  Pretty shocking when you see the valuation behind it...

However, Facebook's Meta aside and not yet seeing much from Bored Ape's Otherside, it seems like Polygon/MATIC are by far the most popular metaverse option.  With all of the partners they're onboarding, I think if you're looking at investing in the metaverse at this point, you'd better take a look at acquiring some MATIC, which is on fire this week.
4783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can FTX Token Beat Its All-time High Of $100? on: November 05, 2022, 05:30:03 PM
I think it's possible for FTX Token to do insane things once they release their FTX stablecoin.  They're basically going to have a license to print money at that point and will easily be able to pump whatever they want.  I just hope we don't see another Luna type situation here.  Sam seems too smart for that, but you never know...  One thing is for sure though, FTX has to be making a killing as the market volume picks up and it looks like altseason is beginning to warm up a bit.  It's been a while since I've seen so much green on the marketcap list.  Good times to be going long and taking some risk.

Looks like I'm not the only one who expect Warriors to win this game. Cheesy

Include me on that list mate Grin Of course, nobody would expect that the Warriors will lose a game versus the Magic today. It's already proven throughout the time that Warriors is much difficult to defeat especially in this game that they have the edge against the opposing team, I don't know what's wrong with them because recently, it looks like that they really struggling. Just my thought tho, maybe their locker room is now different than what they've been used to.

Warriors lose with a single point and snatch from an underdog Magic team.

Not sure about the reason, but they needed to figure it out as fans will start to question them, and for sure haters and critics
will start to come up just like how it was with Lakers and Nets. As early as now, Warriors need to work it out, maybe the locker
room has something that will boost them if they will find the old ways and bring that talk into good executions.

That is if their locker room can give them some boost of what they need because if their locker room is now toxic then that may be the reason why their plays and performance are quite different since the season started, Curry is still have a hot hands but it is not enough. We know that the Warriors are surrounded by issues even before the season started and there's this Booker-Klay confrontation.

I see your point and it will be a big or tough test for coach Kerr and there with the Warriors managements they need to work
as one and forget about those dramas.

They need to act as professionals and it should need to start reflecting on their games,
all those issues do have the right place to discuss, but once they are inside the court they
need to perform that has one goal, nothing but to win the game.

There definitely seems to be something going on with the Warriors.  They're the first defending champions to ever start off the season 0-6 on the road.  This in contrast to the Bucks, who are 8-0 now this season and tearing it up.  So I guess the gambling game now is betting when the Warriors are going to get their first road win and when the Bucks are going to lose their first game.  I always love a good winning streak, so I hope Giannis takes this 8-0 start and turns it into something historical.  A pretty amazing accomplishment considering his number 2 guy is still out with injuries.

Getting asked if these are still in stock (thanks for the purchases) and I must say that yes, they are still in stock as the OP in this thread indicates.  Everything is up to date.  Stock is running a bit low but as long as you aren't trying to purchase hundreds of them, I should have you covered.  If you want to purchase, just drop me a personal message with your country and what you'd like to purchase so that I can send you a quote that includes shipping costs.

Remember remember the fifth of November.  Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Shams is reporting that Nike is suspending its relationship with Kyrie Irving and won’t be releasing his new shoe, the Kyrie 8, as planned. Pretty crazy the amount of backlash that Kyrie has faced for a tweet. He’s been suspended for 5 games, agreed to send half a million to charity, and now he’s going to lose his deal with Nike… Makes you think… Cancel culture has always been strong in one particular area…
4787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 04, 2022, 11:23:45 PM
My pick for tonight.

New Orleans Pelicans(-3,5) vs Golden State Warriors = First Quarter 1,83 Odds

Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will not play tonight.
I think it will be an easy game for New Orleans.

Good luck guys.

I'm actually very curious to know as to when the news of Golden State Warriors resting 4 of their starters broke out ? was before the lines were made of after, because I know the type drastic effect it would have on the early bettors, if the news didn't get out before the lines were made, I didn't pay any form of attention to their lines when it opened.

That said, I think the Warriors second unit might are actually still decent enough, I understand that the Pelicans would be too much to handle for them, but I think -3.5 for the first quarter is a very trick bet, but I wish you good luck, still!

I’m seeing a spread of -10.5 for the Pelicans at the moment. I wouldn’t touch that. I think at Pelicans-3.5 you probably have a good bet though. It is definitely a gamble for only a quarter.

I’m curious how Giannis is going to do against the new twin towers in Minnesota. Betting the Bucks to win has been the way to go so far this year..

As more and more studies show that the vaccines were total bullshit and that politicians lied to us while trying to force us to take the worthless vaccines to be a part of society or go in public it is a shame to now see drug companies and politicians try to excuse themselves from any potential liability. Sadly, they are now trying to force these vaccines on children even though they know it is wrong just to remove their liability. I wish we could wipe out every pro-vaccine / pro-lockdown politician and sue the hell out of every drug company to try and fight against this happening again, which it most definitely will.

A couple of good games on ESPN today. First up is the Bulls and Celtics, which seems likely to be a playoff matchup at the end of the year. I haven’t seen the Bulls play yet so I may watch some of that one. The main course being the undefeated Bucks vs the Minnesota Timberwolves who are still trying to figure out Gobert in the lineup, but have been playing well.
4790  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 04, 2022, 02:39:17 PM
As the market opened bullish this morning Bitcoin ripped passed $21K. It feels like markets have decided that we’ve avoided recession and money is flowing back into stocks and other investments. I am starting to believe the bottom of this cycle might be behind us. While there are challenges ahead, it seems like there is a tidal wave of investment headed into crypto.
4791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 04, 2022, 06:27:56 AM
I can’t believe the Orlando Magic beat the Golden State Warriors. Looking at the box score it doesn’t even make sense. The big difference of the night seems to be the free throws. The Warriors shot 10/15 from the free throw line while the Magic shot 33/46. I didn’t watch the game but it certainly seems like the referees were a little bit lopsided on this one.
4792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Minedala #2 - Bitcoin art that mines bitcoin on: November 03, 2022, 11:19:58 PM
That is pretty sweet. I clicked on this thread expecting to see a piece of artwork that received Bitcoin distributions similar to the Minted Seats coins that I offer. I was pleasantly surprised to see this is literally a repurposed Bitcoin miner that has been made into a piece of art. Very cool and innovative. I could see cool artwork like this doubling as space heaters and becoming popular for crypto folks.
4793  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price with a 4 year cycle? on: November 03, 2022, 11:04:27 PM
If you were trying to catch the bottom going by nothing but the 4-year cycle timing of past bottoms, you would be buying here. I do think there are some things hanging over the market that will have to be dealt with, like the ETH2 coins being able to be withdrawn or the mtgox coins getting distributed. It seems that instead of creating the perfect storm like normal, the powers that be are trying to time these bearish events to occur closer to the peak of the next 4-year cycle.
4794  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Iran may attack Saudi Arabia? on: November 03, 2022, 11:01:13 PM
I find it unlikely that Iran would attack Saudi Arabia. They have a lot of common goals and interests. Granted Saudi Arabia pretends to be an ally of the United States and we would likely defend them in the event of an attack by Iran but I don’t think that’s a strong possibility. This situation does serve as a reminder that our commander and chief has depleted our oil reserves and stopped domestic production where his predecessor had us producing a surplus of oil that we could be cashing in on right now. It should be blatantly obvious to anyone with half of a working brain how much better of America would be had Trump beaten Biden in the last election.
4795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Firms Taking Advantage of the Bear Market to Enter into the Crypto Space on: November 03, 2022, 07:31:26 PM
JP Morgan made some headlines this week for making their first DeFi trade using the Polygon network and MATIC coin.  That's pretty big news that has flown somewhat under the radar.  You can bet that JP Morgan is sitting on a ton of MATIC and building on Polygon (likely have been for a while) so them joining the likes of Disney and others choosing now to enter the space and choosing Polygon as a way to do so seems to be the trend for large companies at the moment.  I'm looking forward to seeing what cool and fun stuff these companies and others build as the metaverse blossoms into a thing.
4796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: November 03, 2022, 07:26:29 PM
Polygon has a strong power to reach $ 20, even I'm sure 2 or 3 years will reach $ 100, the number of developers who continue to use the automatic platform makes us worthy of high hope on matic.

Are you also delusional?, on what basis can you say Matic will hit $100 ATH in the coming years. have you looked at the total supply of Matic or have you checked its market cap? it's very hard for matic to reach $5, let alone $20. unless they have token burning mechanisms like ethereum or bnb these days.
it is clear that it is certainly not easy to do that, because so far what has been achieved with ATH $2.92, is already an achievement in itself that can be done, even if it will increase again it may only be 2x and it can be at $6.
if to be able to reach $100 it seems something that doesn't make sense other than that there have been drastic changes made such as burning some of the supply so that it is reduced so as to increase the price.
is it possible to do? we'll see, because that's one way to improve as BNB consistently does.

I think the peak for MATIC would likely be around $5.  That would be a market cap the size of BNB currently.  At $20 it would be as large as Ethereum.  I don't think that's a realistic expectation, but I guess it's possible the entire crypto market could boom again.  Still, I think with a market cap of $100 billion, it would be hard to say that MATIC is still a good value, but you never know.  When it comes to partnerships and the most activity, MATIC seems to be winning and doing all the right things.  It is certainly one of my favorites, but if it goes above $5 I will probably start lightening my bag a little bit.
4797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 03, 2022, 06:48:48 PM
Golden State Warriors playing the Orlando Magic today on NBC. The Magic seem to be winning the tanking sweepstakes so far this season so I don’t see them really even trying to win today. Definitely not a bet that is going to make you rich, but the Warriors should win this one easily, which seems to be exactly what they need right now.
4798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 03, 2022, 07:02:32 AM
LA Lakers escaped from another loss, good thing they have Ryan who forced an OT and the Lakers then too over in the OT. 2 wins in a row, now bad, but hopefully they'll be more consistent and dominant so we will not feel nervous while watching the game.

Westbrook now is playing limited minutes but he had some good contribution, I think that's good for the team.

I wish I could’ve watched the game. The highlights made it seem like it was a fun one to see. Zion and LeBron had a moment afterwards where LeBron seemed to be paying respects to Zion. The Lakers won mostly because of a hell of a game from Lonnie Walker IV. He was 5-9 from three point range and that’s exactly what the Lakers need to win games.
4799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 03, 2022, 03:48:19 AM
The Cleveland Cavaliers vs Boston Celtics game turned out to be a great one. The Cleveland Cavs won it in overtime and fought hard the entire time. Garland and Mitchell are scoring machines and Jarrett Allen is a force down low. I think this Cleveland team might be for real. Crazy because I thought they were going to tank this season but instead they might be a high seed in the postseason.
4800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Anderson Silva October 29th on: November 03, 2022, 03:46:27 AM
^of course it’s about money. Not only did Silva get a fat paycheck for this fight, where he probably felt it was easier than an MMA fight, but he also landed himself as president of a new organization to increase fighter benefits. I believe this is Jake Paul attempting to build his own UFC type company where fighters get paid more and he becomes a billionaire.
