4781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Bitcoin Business To Create? on: October 28, 2016, 05:05:40 PM
A good business to create would be an online casino accepting many alt-coins and offering some different gambling games with a low house edge (lowest as possible to make users happy, but to don't crash the casino bankroll also). I know there are many casinos accepting BTCs already, but gambling addicts are always looking for a new casino to try their luck.
4782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: October 27, 2016, 03:44:17 AM
The safest way is to set a limit to how much you can spend each week on gambling and stick to your rule. This way you never lose more than you can afford to. I set my limits and I know that it is just for fun.

That is not safe at all because if you lose then you will still lose money, I think if you don't want to fall in losing then it is better if you are going to completely stop gambling because you will never know if you have assurance to win. But by setting up a limit as you gamble, that is just making yourself responsible and if you run out of funds, then stop.

Yes, it's not 100% safe. Just decrease the loss chances. But the risk is there anyway. For me safe way means, play without chance to lose money, and it's not possible at all when we are gambling. It's a luck game, no way to predict what will happen after you click the bet button...
4783  Economy / Securities / Re: Pig Farm Investment. on: October 27, 2016, 03:38:20 AM
Isn't everyone in Indonesia Muslim?  I thought Muslim's didn't eat pork?

He said it some pages before:

"I live in an area that the majority of the population eat pork meat.
Adult pigs are sold to collectors, who regularly come to visit every house to buy a pig."

So, maybe they aren't muslims in the area.  Smiley
4784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unconfirmed Transactions Problem on: October 27, 2016, 03:01:24 AM

Yes, if you paid 75 sato per byte now, then you are estimated to get your first confirmation within the
next 7 blocks, or +/- 120 minutes from now. See this site for fee estimations: https://bitcoinfees.21.co/

If you want to be in the next block now, you should pay priority which is 110 sato per byte.

For Yobit, I'm don't know if you can change the fee or that the administrator will have to adjust
the fee for all withdrawals. If you can set your own fee, then yes, you should set it for your preferred need.

Ok, thank you. Good informations on this site about the transactions and its respective fees.

I usually have no hurry to complete the transactions fast, but I wouldn't like to wait more than 12 hours for it anyway.
4785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unconfirmed Transactions Problem on: October 27, 2016, 02:42:28 AM
fees are antispam feature.
if you don't see it ... leave it.

network work well when you pay the right fee.
and we have plenty of site to verify this : https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transaction_fees#Fee_Plotting_Sites

if someone want to emit bitcoin transaction ... it can ... by paying the right fees (priority fees mode in the bitcoin core or android wallet).

So, if we want fast transactions since now, do we need to pay highest fees?

I don't think it fair, because we were paying the same fees that now and the transactions were normal, and now, we need to pay highest fees. And I suppose if we pay highest fees now, some time later, there will be the necessity to increase again (when more people start using BTCs), no?

What is not fair?
When you pay the highest fee, you are paying for priority.
If you don't need priority and can wait, pay medium fee.

The problem is that the "medium" fee isn't being sufficient anymore to make the transactions go smoothly. Looks if many people are making transactions, the fee must be higher, or you won't complete it, canceling the transaction.

So, in the future the fees will be very highest than now, or we will never complete our transactions. Tell me if I'm wrong.

There is no set fee structure.
The fee system is determined by your priority and the size of current mempool.
The "medium" fee is only a snap shot on a sliding scale.
The "medium" fee now is around 75 sato per byte.

The fee market will rise as long as there are bitcoin users who are willing to pay higher fees.
The reality is that it will stabilize at a certain level since most users will not pay more than $1 per tx.
So in theory you are correct, up to a point.

Hmm, Ok, understood. So, if I want a relative fast transaction, do I need to pay 75 satoshis per byte now? And do you know +/- how much time will it take to complete? (I think we were paying 32 satoshis per byte and it was going fast days ago).

And Yobit fee, for an example, the fee there is 20k satoshis. So, will I need to pay more there also since now?
4786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be blocked too by the government or isp ?? on: October 27, 2016, 02:39:22 AM
governments cannot take down the network because the IP's are vast.
but lets not get lazy and think we are safe. apathy leads to vulnerability. by not keeping the network as secure as possible.

so lets be realistic and not have an apathetic utopian mindset.

worse case scenario:
(1) governments can take down this forum. the subreddits, github, and some IRC channels, and a couple other bitcoin sites/exchanges to cause some drama.
because that is only under 10 places to hit.

this will take more then a few days for people to try communicating with each other via social media to re establish a new assortment of collaboration of minds, code, markets.

but what i say above wont affect the bitcoin network at all.
however,
(2) governments take down the mining pools internet. because there are only ~20 pools.
causing block creation delays while mining pools switch servers.
this is a short term delay of under an hour. because pools do (well some should) have multiple servers(within their control but in different jurisdictions) to allow miners to "pool hop" to another server quite quickly.
some pools dont have a couple servers. meaning it will take more then an hour to allow their asics to "pool hop"

but what i say above wont see much interruption/delay on the network.

actually government can block the internet for all users but this will break the world nowadays...

I don't think the governments will ban the bitcoin use, it's something harmless...

Some governs don't like bitcoins, principally dictators. Some time ago I saw that Russia government didn't want people there using BTCs, don't know if it continues. But more governments don't want the use of bitcoins, because they don't want to see independent people using an independent currency. The only thing they can offer to their people is poorness, and when their people find a way to have prosperity, they just forbid it...

4788  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be Smart, When Investing Your Bitcoins In Various Sites on: October 27, 2016, 02:12:45 AM
There are a lot of many Bitcoin sites, which also can sometimes offer good profit. Be smart, when investing in them, even good looking BTC site can be simple scam. From the other hand do not look to every BTC site, as scam 100%. With time you will understand, where you can invest your Bitcoins and make profit.  Wink

For investing I have seen investing in bankroll for gambling sites, investing in mining, and investing in other sites that are profiting off Bitcoin technology, such as exchanges.  Any others, and which types would those here recommend as most worthwhile?

I'm trying to invest on bankroll casino to test and see if it's really profitable. Looks the profit is sure. Nothing very profitable, but a small and safe return is possible to get. But as I said, I'm testing it yet.

Another investiments like technology and exchanges, I don't know, never saw any option to invest.

4791  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to be a good bitcoin investor to prevent scammed on: October 27, 2016, 01:57:05 AM
For me, to be a good bitcoin investor we need to be a wise person. I had tried some invesment company, they paying or legitimate but in few or short days, weeks or months they will run away; they will not paying anymore.

Tried and tested tips:

1. Invest bitcoin if the company is 0-10 running days.

2. Make sure that the deposits, withdraws and member is increasing.

3. Search for more information about that company.

Looks you are wanting a hyip investiment. The companies you say, aren't real companies, just some scammers that create a site to steal investors.

I don't suggest this kind of investiment, and you won't be a good investor if try this kind of scheme to earn money. It's not safe, and the probability to lose all your money is high, caution.
4792  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the best investment holding your Bitcoin? on: October 27, 2016, 01:54:21 AM
I think so. If you don't have much knowledge about trading, hold BTCs is the best thing to do. Investiments would be good also, but almost all of them are scam schemes like ponzis and hyips. But if you don't want to just hold your coins on the wallet, you can try invest on casino bankroll. I'm trying this right now as a test. Don't know yet how profitable it will be.
4793  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] eBitChat.com ¯\_(ツ)_/💝 chat & earn bitcoin every min + welcome Bonus 🎁 on: October 26, 2016, 08:12:47 PM
I agree with that. VIP should get extra benefit.
I want to just ask something. There is nothing  to staop just just sitting there with the window open to generate bitcoin even if we don't talk. I think this is fair as you get only 600 satoshi or so an hour so if you want to sit for hours doing nothing to make that small amount we should be able to. THough I have this feeling  the owners will give a whole bunch of bs excuses not to pay out for doing that, they will say no you never spoke so we can't pay you. Maybe fix that ? The owner does't seem ti give a crap why don't you just take this website offline ? Its a waste of space. Also manual withdraw ?? HAHAHA not a chance.

VIP already get extra benefits like 3 mute / 3 kick per day and the name will be listed at the top of list in the room and yes just stay in ebitchat without talking and we will pay you but keep in mind that you must keep your account active every 5 minutes try to open TAB of ebitchat and try to click in the chat box or whatever so you still generating credits once you got 100k ( 0.001 BTC ) contact us with your bitcoin address to cashout
why should i scam with this project ?? at this  tilme we said we have a manual withdraw we announce that we are looking for a developer to develop our chat and make instant deposit/withdraw and ref program   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1660510.0

Your price 0.005 BTC per year is really surprising but the earnings are also lower like that. If you increase the earnings per minute then people will like happily to join that chat site and with more traffic you can earn back that money from ad networks or by selling ad space on your website.

we will increase earning per minutes from 10 sat to 20 or 25 sat  every minutes but when we develop it first for now i'm not planing to make advertisement for now but in the future yes

I'm having "connection failed, please try again later" message. Can't access chat servers.

Is it happen only here or more people are having the same issue?

problem resolved we just stop the server for maintenance and test

PS : we still looking for a PHP developer https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1660510.0

Ok, good to know that it's working again.  Smiley

I already gave a bump on your thread on services section also, maybe people thought you already hired someone to do the job.
4794  Economy / Services / Re: [Hire] PHP developers for ebitchat.com on: October 26, 2016, 08:11:43 PM
Hey guys, OP is still needing a PHP developer for ebitchat.com

I, as a site user, need this too, because the referral program isn't ready and we need this feature to bring more people to the site.
4795  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Minion game - win 800, or 13.000 satohis! 500 SATOSHI Ref. on: October 26, 2016, 08:08:40 PM
Something is happening with blockchain, i am unable to deposit my Faucetbox.. The deposit is pending almost 24 hours, i hope the game will not become dry.. last 1M satoshis here = enough for next 24 hours

Ok, no problem, we know that many people are having issues with transactions since days ago.

If your faucet dry, just add a message on your faucet and it will users won't think it's scam.  Wink
I just hope to complete my minions table before the faucet dries hehe
4796  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: www.FaucetGame.com - The first of its kind. Everything else is a cheap copy. on: October 26, 2016, 08:05:50 PM
Hey Mexican, when I try to withdraw I'm having this message: "This withdraw amount exceeds your daily limit of 120000 credits. You can withdraw 120000 more credits today".

I hope you fix it soon, thanks.
There's nothing to be fixed ;p

Please read the news on the site. I did some changes to reflect level significance and extra features.

Peace!

I withdrawl 119999 satoshis and it worked fine... It just didn't let me withdraw 120000 satoshis (max limit per day for my level in site).  Smiley

Peace.
4797  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New Bitcoin faucet on: October 26, 2016, 08:01:36 PM
Very hard to claim on this faucet. Very heavy site with a lot of ads and pop-ups. My computer isn't very good, so I had some difficult to open it.

And your faucet pop-up tried to infect my computer with a virus or malware, don't know... I don't recommend this faucet until the owner make some updates and place only trustful pop-ups, without malicious events.
4798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Do you prefer your money to be in cash or bitcoins? on: October 26, 2016, 07:56:48 PM
Depends. If I want to buy things over the internet I prefer Bitcoins, if the site doesn't accept the BTCs, I use a service site where I sent the BTCs to them and they pay my bank slip. If I need to use the currency on my daily life I prefer my local money, because it's hard yet to find stores accepting bitcoins on our cities.

Good to know that Shamanscoin faucet became to the normality again and paid the users. It's a really good site to become a scam for nothing. I hope we can make profit here again and be paid correctly since now.
