4781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: June 22, 2017, 08:09:39 AM
Honestly in my own view to that kind of matter os that we can't avoid it. Criminals will always find a way to take advantage of something in this case it is the security and privacy of Bitcoin. Now it is not Bitcoin's fault because Bitcoin is not built for criminal activities in the first place. Yes statistics show the use of Bitcoin but the government should do something else in order to lessen it aside from banning something.
4782  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: June 21, 2017, 03:52:13 PM
Good thing for those who didn't get panic. It's already $2656 now at bitstamp and it seems slowly rising. If there are fall of price don't get panic just because of that. It will recover sometime for sure and that is proven, and that is the how the price movement works. It's common.

I absolutely agree with you, that has been the trend lately if you've been following Bitcoin so I guess some new panic sellers have learnt their lesson, I will also speak to the OP to either edit or start a new thread with the heading "Bitcoin is rising"
Price recoveries of Bitcoin will always be the living proof why panicking is a bad idea. Instead of being on that state why not take advantage of a low price of a hot asset? Every time I see a price correction of Bitcoin I always know that it is a time of profit taking of the big players which when the price is at the bottom they will buy Bitcoin again. Last week it was around 2300-2500$ now we are seeing Bitcoin at around 2600-2700$ level maybe in a short period of time we will see it back up at 2900$.
4783  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: June 21, 2017, 02:17:07 PM
why not price of bitcoin absolutely matter. the attraction of bitcoin in all countries is all about of price. price of bitcoin can attract more people to use bitcoin and increase and decrease in price can attract the investers .
It is not that simple yes price does give attention to people through media and social media but it does not automatically make them users of Bitcoin, it surely does get their attention on Bitcoin itself. But the Attention of Bitcoin does not always become a demand for Bitcoin, because based from my personal experience even just by searching Bitcoin in google you will be more confused and lost on the topic some people won't even go far on creating a Bitcoin Wallet Address.

Can someone from Bitsler explain me how I get these values for a wining bet?
I placed a bet with the value of 0.00000748 on red.
I don't understand what is this amount: 0.00000785?

Hi, Its simple, the 0.00000785 is the amount you have won. Let us take your bet as an example:
-Before this bet, i would assume your balance was 0.00011625.
-You placed a bet of 0.00000748 on red which clearly says x2.05.
-Your new balance is 0.00010877 (0.00011625 - 0.00000748)
-Your bet wins. (0.00000748 x 2.05) = 0.00001533
-Your balance now is (0.00010877 + 0.00001533) = 0.00012410
-The difference between your new balance and your old balance (0.00012410 - 0.00011625) = 0.00000785
-0.00000785 is the total amount you've won.

I double checked MillionsBTCdev's calculation and it seems to be right. I always remember that the amount in green is the number which signifies I won the bet, and when the amount is red it signifies that I lose Bitcoin from my balance. By the way I would like to congratulate in advance the 11,000,000,000 Bet even though there are no official announcement yet maybe Baryom and the management is waiting for the other betting number winners.
4785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: June 21, 2017, 10:02:34 AM
One of the biggest disadvamtage of the bitcoin is its legality.Though it is already used in many countries, there are still some that doesnt give the bitcoin the rights to become legal.Second is the indirect payment using bitcoin, you still need to convert it to buy something but converting it has also a fee.But I know that those disadvantages will improve.
I don't think that legality is as of right now still an issue. With the recent news about developed countries changing views on Bitcoin I think its legality is not a disadvantage anymore. Even though it was illegal before I don't see any actions of the government stopping it like banning the use of Bitcoin in the dark web which has never been tried. Converting Bitcoin to Fiat for me is not a disadvantage or a burden in anyway because of my wallet which has an option to buy my Bitcoin and they will pay via Bank deposit.
4786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: June 21, 2017, 06:18:51 AM
Earning 1BTC now a day is so hard because the price of btc is continue to rise that's why I do not have 1btc, but I have a little btc in my wallet earning from my signature campaign and I'm confidence that i will reach 1btc by the end of this year (I hope so) for now i'm hold my btc and keep working until that day comes hehehe Smiley

Well the key to have 1 Bitcoin, if Buying in not an option is to accumulate it in which you don't touch it in your wallet. Other option to make the process go faster is by using your accumulated Bitcoin into trading with Altcoins. This has a lot of risk involve however if you bought an Altcoin right they payoff will be favorable for you. I myself still accumulate Bitcoin and will try to test the cryptocurrency market when I have the certain knowledge.

Around 8,000,000 bets to go before the 11 Billionth Bet comes, waiting for the chance when it happens, and I am hoping that I am still awake. But looking how fast the bets are going, I think it will be later this evening UTC time. With this kind of promotions I am sure I am not the only one anticipating for that number to come which surely lowers my chances of winning. But I do still hope for the best.
4788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's still really hard to use bitcoin as a regular currency on: June 20, 2017, 01:28:44 PM
Yes that is right, a lot of people are taking advantage of the lack of acceptance of Bitcoin, especially Businesses that are related to Bitcoin to Fiat exchange 40% conversion rate is absolutely ridiculous because you are not receiving the real value of your Bitcoin, with that kind of rate you are better of selling your Bitcoin on your own for Fiat. Right now I don't see any point of buying gift card just for the sake of saying that my Bitcoin is useful in the real world.
4789  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: June 19, 2017, 10:40:53 PM

Exactly so, if cryptocurrencies are the future then it's just not any cryptocurrency but the ones that have withstood a hdifficult and the test of time like bitcoin and ethereum are those that should make the most money from and not those hundreds of shitcoins out of there.

Is cryptocurrencies role is all about making a money? What is the purposes of creating if it's all about earnings? For crypto to become a future, we must disregard it's high price but the good advantage of using it over the traditional fiat transfers. It must be use.

I can't consider cryptocurrencies as the future money if only most people acquiring it to earn money. This is not what supposed the role of a currency. Saving is good but here Im seeing greed.
I thought for a second about this one and harizen is actually right because I don't think that making money out of a currency is making it the future. Also the topic is wrong or something missing from, what I mean about that future about what? Future of investment or future of money? Either way its no a basis of becoming a future if you only want to make money out of it.

Are the Philadelphia 76ers lucky to have the 1st pick in the trade with Boston in exchange for the 3rd and future first round pick? Which they will surely draft Markelle Fultz to complete a young lineup of future stars. With that being said I still do think that the 76ers still needs to develop in order to play competitively in a playoff match. Other way its a win win trade if it will pay off well on both teams.
4791  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: June 19, 2017, 11:04:29 AM
Panic may, but do not overdo it. Because panic to something as popular as bitcoin because the price is falling and then you sell it, I think you will regret in the near future because I've experienced something like this. We must stay calm and be sure bitcoin will rise again.

It's a cycle, dump and pump can really happen in btc, there's no need to panic. Since btc is still capable to pump soon like it did before. Same with it can lower the value but not as low as it is before.
indeed but still you need to have some preparation for something unexpected , for something worst that you never imagine before. you need some plan B and a proper bankroll management to make sure you won't completely get panic and just enjoy the fluctuation.

if you have a plan to put your cash in bitcoin for long term then it is a clear case that you won't panic at all.
It is pretty obvious if a panic selling is due to a profit taking or is it due to a really bad news. Panic selling that is done by profit taking should not make you panic at all as price recovery can just be days from now, but if it is due because of a bad news then might be prepared to join others selling their position. As you need to take profit as much as you can before it falls way down just like what happened last year when is was priced at the level of $500 dollars (in which you can accumulate again).

Oops, we did it again ! 11 BILLIONTH BET SOON

It looks like we are gonna get 11 Billionth roll tonight. Right now, we are at 10.94 Billion, A BIG Congratulations to bitsler and to you William!

Yes, mostly it will happen today itself. It is very amazing to see this site grown up so fast and gained trust from everyone on this forum. I never try to get this bonus but this time if it is going to happen before I go bed then I will also try my luck.
I am also shock that we will reach another milestone not even a month after the 10 Billionth Bet Promotion, 20 days to be exact since the previous promotion and now we will reach another billion bets in just a short time span. What I can say is that there may be a lot of active players that are betting regularly and addition to new players due to all Bitsler's previous promotions. Congratulation to the site and to its management for giving good promotions to its members.
4793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: June 19, 2017, 08:17:44 AM
Nope it is not intended for what you have said, but it cannot be avoided as its features like privacy and security is suited for those kinds. It is inevitable as it is built for online usage as well as the anonymity it is proven beneficial for people who don't want to be known, especially in drug related concerns. Bitcoin as an internet currency is not preferred more over fiat but it is certainly more prominent online because that is where it is designed for an internet currency.
4794  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: June 18, 2017, 02:11:53 PM
That is one thing you don't want to do when you are Investing/Trading. Being at the state of Panic or at least Participating in a Panic Selling will do you know good. Having a Panic attack will only give your mind to have hard decisions (which mostly what you are choosing are the wrong ones). Don't worry If you are a long term investor than price drops like this one are normal because it is a profit taking time every time Bitcoin reaches a new high it is inevitable to happen not unless big players are not willing to sell.
4795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: June 18, 2017, 12:07:14 PM
Today many people rely on bitcoin, in the sense that they are now focusing on the world of cryptocurrency, leaving their jobs

Is there something like this, is there any special tips because i want to focus but not yet dare?

I believe many people rely on bitcoin as another source of income online and not most of them mainly rely on bitcoin as the only source of income. If you are currently working, alot of things really need to be taken into consideration before you think of you quit your current job for Bitcoin. If you have an offer for the position of moderator and you see that what moderator earn per month is far higher than your current earning go ahead but if not please remain where you  are do the job as an additional source of income.

I think staking a career on the single thing is the definition of risky, unless one knows with certainty that said 'stream' is permanent.. BTC has great potential and blockchain technology will be a household concept within the next few decades (provided bitcoin persists). Meanwhile, one should keep pursuing his current career goals with bitcoin as 'side thing'.

Bitcoin is cool and all, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it. Eggs and baskets and such Wink
Yup you are right having only one source of income will give you in a bad position some day, what I mean about that is you will only rely on one thing but what will happen if you stopped receiving income from that source? That is why having multiple stable sources of income is the way to go, what I mean about that is you won't have to rely on one source only and financially you won't be burying yourself on a lot of trouble, adding financial planning will also help you in your financial goals in the long run.
4796  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: June 18, 2017, 06:53:46 AM
It seems effect bitcoin on unemployment reduction is insignificant, making it less visible globally positive impact. But certainly with bitcoin, is a new business opportunity (for people who see potential of bitcoin). I'm sure, most of the ones that wrestle on bitcoin today are people who have worked or already have an income.
If you are earning Bitcoin online it does not simply mean that you are an employed person it simply means that you are self-employed. I think this is a wrong question to start of because I don't know any businesses that are paying their salaries with Bitcoin, and I don't think they are willing to accept if there is such thing. Don't get me wrong but Bitcoin is still a volatile currency and I don't think employees will risk the chance of having a lower valued pay regularly.
4797  Economy / Economics / Re: How to TAX Bitcoin. An easy way ! on: June 17, 2017, 05:41:31 PM
Giving away your Bitcoin Wallet Address won't solve the problem of Taxation. You know why? Because even if they can monitor it incoming and outgoing transactions they won't know which one is categorized as earnings or just someone remitting you money (which is not counted as income) this can be a major problem for the citizen as he/she might be taxed wrong, I don't know a clear solution for this even giving a dedicated address for your business will not solve the issue.
4798  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: June 17, 2017, 01:26:45 PM
if any country replaced paper money to cryptocoin its a big financial crisis issue because than People do not follow their tax rules and gov did not get correct tax from peoples
Well surely that depends on what Cryptocurrency will they be replacing it at, what I mean about that is if the Government developed a Cryptocurrency for their own country then the issue of tax evasion and crimes won't be a problem to them. But the disadvantage about that is will other countries accept your government owned cryptocurrency? I guess not and also I am seeing that Politicians will be the ones who will act as the Big Players holding a considerate amount of that Cryptocurrency.
4799  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: June 17, 2017, 10:26:59 AM
If you tell them the advantages about bitcoin that would be the best way to encourage them to accepr BTC. Hoping soon local business would accept btc.

And they will ask you, what are the most popular and basic advantages of bitcoin when they are going to accept it? You can say that if they have customers offshore they can tell their customers to send their payments by means of bitcoin. And by that way, that is going to make their transactions fast and convenient.

Please tell me you're being sarcastic. Gone are the days when bitcoin has fast transactions and low fees. You're not going to buy 3$ worth of coffee and then spend 2 more dollars for the transaction fee in bitcoins. And even with this amount of transaction fee, you'd still have to wait a couple of hours before the transactions comes through. Plus, it's not convenient since the store owner has to wait before he can ever get those coins. We're still not at the point when a store looks cool when it says "Bitcoin accepted here." since we're so far away from mass adoption.

Fiat is still the best when it comes to microtransactions. No transaction fee. Instant confirmations. That's fiat for you.
I agree on Fatanut on this one Bitcoin transactions in shops will actually make you pay more on what you are buying. And let us look at the Sellers side honestly do they even care about the advantages? why not tell them that Bitcoin is also volatile and accepting it might risk their earnings. But it always come to the point that are there any customers willing to spend their Bitcoin? We always need to look if there is a demand for Bitcoin payments before implementing such thing.
4800  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: June 17, 2017, 08:06:52 AM
What are the reasons, why people use Cash or Credit Cards / ATM / Banks?

* Work offline 100%
* No fees.
* Accepted for Food Shopping & Micropayments
* 0 confermations time
* 0 exchange risks
* anyone is able to understanding of the value of payment
what you had written is some of money's benefits, of course it's true but we can't just look at money's benefits and irgnore Bitcoins benefits and just say that Money is better than Bitcoin
To tell you the truth the only Benefit I see when using Bitcoin is its ability to grow in terms of value, and it can be a double-edged sword for it because you are also accepting Bitcoin's volatility. You are risking your own capital when you invest in Bitcoin and you are increasing of losing your capital if you don't know what you are doing with your money. Bitcoin for me as of now is not a currency but some kind of investment that I am hoping to make profit in the long run.
