4781  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Nosedive from $60K to $52K in 15 Minutes on: April 22, 2021, 06:33:34 AM
Kayo ba nagpapanic? May plan ba kayo to buy more cryptos during this dip?

4782  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does that mean trading is more popular than social media now? on: April 22, 2021, 05:11:05 AM
It became popular due to the prices that everyone is seeing. Price of bitcoin, ethereum, BNB, Dogecoin and other cryptocurrencies that have much increased in a short period of it.

That made people to download those trading apps and they all became interested. This incident usually happens when we're in the bull run. People are always interested to the market when it's up but when it's down, not that much news about surge in downloads and searches.

Add to that is also because of the pandemic. Most people are in their home now, some lose their job and looking for a way to earn money. They see those trading platforms to do that and also with the recent increase of cryptocurrencies it would definitely get them interested. I even saw some tiktok videos now shilling some coins to buy. This just means they are also trading on some popular searched platforms. I hope these people did their research well about crypto, market won't always go up. Time will come that bear season will happen and I hope they don't lose more money because of trading.
4783  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet, Stake or Sportsbet - Which is best? on: April 22, 2021, 04:05:36 AM
Your choices can be found here https://www.btcgosu.com/bitcoin-casino-reviews/. This site helped me to read reviews of different gambling platforms. Its reviews are easy to understand for anyone. It also includes some screenshots of the website and indicates what are the pros and cons of that platform.

Credits to this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5262141.0 that I found a few weeks ago. That is where I found that website about different gambling platform reviews.
4784  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Focus on Bitcoin this year or sa ibang bagay?+ Qs about trading ad sa YT on: April 21, 2021, 11:51:38 PM
2hrs a day of learning about bitcoin is already good in the long run. Bata ka pa naman. Wag mo muna ipressure sarili mo. Hindi din ganun kadali mag trade, kelangan nito tutok ka sa price action ng coin or else mapipilitan ka ihold ito para hindi ka malugi.
4785  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOLDING VS TAKING PROFITS DURING BULL RUN on: April 21, 2021, 11:11:19 PM
For me, I would sell half then hodl the other half for a couple of years. You really don't know if the coin you are holding is still good in the future. Taking profit during bull run is not bad because after that season there would definitely be a bear season. If you will just hodl then you won't be able to buy cheaper coins when its bear season.. Greediness is really hard to overcome. We already dream the profit of something that is not there yet.
4786  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast do you think will Bitcoin reach $100k? on: April 21, 2021, 03:51:03 PM
I want to reach that price slowly. It's ok if it doesn't make that price this year. Some people want to increase bitcoin's price quickly but they don't consider the risks of it. If it increases that fast then there would definitely have a huge correction happening after that pump which we all don't like. We should be more concerned about what will happen if we reach that price, will there be a big sell-off when it hits $100k. Will bitcoin can still go above that price . If so, what type of people would buy abive those price.
4787  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your price expectations for 2021 on: April 21, 2021, 01:39:03 PM
$100k would definitely be good and i think it is really possible this year. Q2 is just beggining and we already hit $65k ath. A little more push and we can achieve that 6 digit price for bitcoin. We already know that many big companies like Paypal and Tesla started to adopt bitcoin and blockchain technology in their business.  The only question now is what would be the catalyst to achieve that $100k mark.
4788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have anyone tried to stop gamblers from losing while they keep on wagering. on: April 21, 2021, 10:55:43 AM
It's really hard to stop someone that tries to recover his losses, even if you stop him his mind keeps telling him to bet more because he can't still accept the reality that his bankroll is gone in just few minutes. Greed is really difficult to overcome because our opponent here is our own emotion. Having a self-control and discipline is also not easy to have. I think most of us experience this in our gambling journey and being an optimist, it taught me a lesson to never chase your losses in gambling. Just exit that casino and relax yourself by doing other stuffs.
4789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem is that it could take again many years to recover on: April 21, 2021, 02:25:53 AM
I have no problems seeing a bright future for BTC, but after a major retracement it might again take many years to recover. Look at the last sell off down to $3700. It took almost 4 years to make new ATH.
So should this be the major, expected drop, it could again take many years for BTC to reach 100k.
Many people will be dead before BTC will reach 1 mio.

A massive correction like that is not likely to happen again because many big institutions already invested in bitcoin and more countries now starts to adapt the use of digital currencies unless there is a big fud that can result for bitcoin to have 80% correction again. The ATH way back 2017 is purely driven by hype, now there are many fundamentals that support bitcoin is a good investment to have. All of us are afraid for that to happen again and since we experienced it, we should be prepared if that happens again.
4790  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin the best one to invest in? Or am i too late? :( on: April 21, 2021, 01:26:28 AM
I was just wondering if it was too late to invest into Bitcoin atm?

Bitcoin is always a good investment for long term and now that its price did a correction few days ago and ranging now at $55k-$56k I can say that it is good to buy some now.

Or should i invest into a different crypto.

But if you are looking for a bigger profit and want to accumulate more bitcoin in the future then investing in other cryptocurrencies like BNB, ADA, or XMR is better. Their price is not that high yet so a 20% gain can be easily achieved. This is what I do to have more bitcoin without buying it. Just make sure to invest in those altcoins that have a real project and use case. Investing in some unknown altcoins that have no roadmap or background of the team can be risky for long term.
4791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best Sport to bet on ? on: April 20, 2021, 04:21:49 PM
In terms of popularity, I think basketball and soccer is the best sport to gamble. If you live in european countries then soccer is really popular on those countries based on what I often read on the social media. Meanwhile everyone knows the NBA league all over the world, each fans have their favorite teams to put their bet on. Those sports are often televised in most countries and analyzing them on some websites about who is going to win is easier because it is more popular thus making it a better sport for me to gamble.
4792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin last till infinity on: April 20, 2021, 06:51:07 AM
People that says bitcoin is still a scam is either they are a victim of ponzi scheme with the use of bitcoin or they are non-technical type of people who still can accept digital currencies and only considers fiat as a form of money. With the big institution investing in bitcoin and adopting blockchain technology, how can they say it is still a scam. I've known bitcoin 2016 and since then I never thought of it as a scam. Though the price is very volatile, if regulation will happen or all bitcoin is mined then I think its price will begin to stabilize.
4793  Economy / Speculation / Re: Game over to Bitcoin Time to sell all on: April 20, 2021, 05:33:13 AM
Wrong place to spread fuds like this. Most people here already know btc well and experienced the 2018's crash. For me it is normal to have a correction like this, we've been hitting new ATH since the year began, I was shocked that it quickly increased when it surpassed the $20k mark. For me it is a good opportunity to buy now but I don't suggest going all-in so if the price goes lower you can still load up your portfolio and wait for the next rally again.
4794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You won today, but then you will lose often on: April 18, 2021, 01:00:40 AM
Greed is really hard to overcome especially when you are already addicted to gambling. You can't forget that time you've won so you can't stop thinking about doing it again and your inner self tells you to deposit more to have bigger profits. The risk of losing does not come to your mind, you will just chase your losses thinking that it is easy to recover if you will win.

Self-discipline is a big factor to get rid of someone's gambling addiction. Even if there are already people ready to help him stay away from it, but the gambler himself is not determined to quit gambling and still think of it often then he will still go back to that habit.
4795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Transactions Fees x Gambling on: April 17, 2021, 01:47:14 AM
Hey guys, I was wondering on how do you fund your Gambling Account if we currently have high fees on ERC20 and Bitcoin?

Many gambling websites now offer many cryptocurrencies to use on their platform. To have lesser fees I often use TRX or doge to play, the amount you will earn is still the same if you convert it to stablecoins. It also has an advantage using those because you can play longer with those cheap coins. Even if the fees are low, using bitcoin or ethereum to gamble is not good for me because you are just wasting a big amount money in the future. This is what I've realized wasting more than 0.01btc just to gamble in the past.
4796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: He said Bitcoin is a Scam: See What happened to Him on: April 15, 2021, 04:10:00 AM
If you were in my shoe, what would you've told a person that says bitcoin is a ponzi scheme created to scam people?

From my experienced when I explained bitcoin to my friends and relatives way back in 2016, it is really hard to educate them if they are not that open-minded yet and still living with the old mindset that fiat is the only type of currency. They don't realize yet that we are becoming a digital world where almost everything is done with the use of computers. Many businesses are slowly adapting to a cashless form of payment and big institutions also are starting to adopt blockchain technology. Now that bitcoin is becoming a trend now and popular company like Tesla bought some of it, those friends before that I told them that bitcoin is not a scam are now asking where to buy it safely and also want me to guide how to trade because they found out that I earn from it.
4797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Your Bitcoin Wallet Be Hacked? How Can You Secure It? on: April 15, 2021, 03:40:31 AM
Any accounts that reside on the internet can be hacked for me. But there are also multiple ways how you can secure it. For bitcoin wallets, as long as you secure it properly and never share it to anyone the private key and passphrase then you won't be easily hacked. Never store those private info online like pasting it on your email or keeping it in online storage, it is better to write it in a piece of paper then keep it somewhere safe. You should also be aware of phishing websites, if it is too good to be true like putting your passphrase and you can get an amount of bitcoin then it is definitely a scam.
4798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devices used for Gambling on: April 15, 2021, 02:26:04 AM
Desktop and laptop are the same in terms of UI in gambling websites. And I'm guessing that those people who voted for desktop is it is their family computer or they have another purpose of it like high-end gaming. Though I usually use my phone when I'm outside, I prefer laptop when gambling outdoor because navigating to that gambling platform is much easier, having multiple tabs is also not a hassle rather than using a phone. I can also bring it to my friend's house and hang out there while we gamble.
4799  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It's the easiest to trade when you aren't trading on: April 14, 2021, 12:12:17 PM
And recently, you know bitcoin become 40K, then 30K, yeah, I waited until 60K and sold all of my coins today Smiley Will price rise? Maybe but I'll wait for another great dip, at least for 70% fall. So, today is the end of my journey for a while.

I think 70% correction is not possible to happen now because many big institutions already invested in bitcoin. Many buyers will be catching the dip before it reaches that point. I really don't know the reason how bitcoin increased and dropped that much in 2017, some say it was because of FOMO that it drove the price that high but they don't say what really caused it. Now with the current price of bitcoin, a 30% correction will be already huge so I hope it won't go higher than that when it happens.
4800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My head hurts from all the platforms out there, how do you pick? on: April 14, 2021, 10:41:47 AM
With that said, which platform do you use? I'm new to crypto here! My head hurts from deciding which platform should I use to trade/stake/freeze/earn with. There are manyyyy! I've already looked into CakeDefi, Pancakeswap, Uniswap, Demex, RAMPDefi, Binance.com and Aave! all of these and I still don't know which one to choose and why. Can someone help/assist me as to choose which one? and why.

I only use binance and kucoin often to trade but I never wanted to try those other platforms you've mentioned like pancakeswap or those Defi platforms. I don't understand how they really work like how you contribute to liquidy pools and what is the meaning of rugpull that I often read. Those 2 platforms are already enough for me to earn a good amount of profit with this current bull season, most coins now are pumping even the low cap that has no actual use-cases.
