4781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 100x coin after bnb and after eth on: July 15, 2021, 02:14:07 PM
I had to hide from my wife because I fell in love with Vulcan Forged $PYR, I got it very soon, it was fun to wait.  An online gaming platform can disrupt, change the video game industry.  Not only for investment, can play games to earn Lava, earn PYR, stake... I expect it to have a successful launch party on July 25th and better if next 1-3 years it will make me  early retirement.  Lol

Man, stop hiding from your wife and just tell her it's Bitcoin you're after through and through. I hate all these disrupters because for the past 20 years people are still playing CS Go and what not, and none of that disruption is apparent.

Who cares about playing games to earn altcoins?
4782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digital EURO - What are your thoughts? on: July 15, 2021, 12:56:52 PM
Digital euro trojan horse for BTC adoption? Don't you think it's the other way around for most states? They're looking at Bitcoin for years, and finally realizing they can't do anything to stop it (except China of course who still thinks old fashioned ways). So they allow Bitcoin and blockchain and develop the tech and pretend digital euro is good because blockchain people also celebrate it (even though we don't know if it's even blockchain).
4783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 15, 2021, 12:21:19 PM
Who is your favorite athlete who will still go to Olympics in football? I think for the squad even though there is an age limit of 23, they do allow each country to send 3 (if I'm not mistaken) athletes who are overaged, but I don't know if there's a limit for THAT.

Would be so cool to see Messi try and win it again for Argentina;)
4784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC] Eloncoin - Mars, here we come!! 🚀 - POS Energy Efficient. on: July 15, 2021, 10:43:54 AM

I stakes something like 10 coins on my own wallet, and then maybe 20 or 30 more on POScoin site (forgot the actual name but you could just stake on their pools and earn a share of it).
If I'm correct, there's one staking pool for ElonCoin but that requires the fund to be sent to Custodial wallet which is a big risk. I'm not sure how delegation aka cold staking works, haven’t found too many information on it.

Yeah, I don't mind staking on my own wallet since I have a computer at work which is basically 24/7 switched on, but of course I only get to use it around 9 hours on my own during my shift. So maybe it's time to consider this type of custodial stake which I guess makes sense if you already trust Eloncoin creator lightlord himself, why not trust him to hold our coins too right?Wink
4785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: July 15, 2021, 08:50:38 AM
Yeah, I can't believe we lost Blackjack again, after those two close wins, and I just can't believe even more than I didn't win big on the very first one, when I've now been betting max all the time if we win, we will "only" get back profit of over maybe 10 mbtc? Which is of course not bad to say the least but it will never be 100mbtc wins again:)
4786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: July 15, 2021, 08:04:09 AM
Messi, Neymar don't join the Premier League so Griezman might reject that challenge too. Suarez is different because he played in Premier League when he was young, got success there before the transfer to Barcelona and became a legend there.

It is very risky for Messi, Neymar, Griezman to join Premier League when they are no long young.

Last season, James Rodriguez had good debut and the first half of season in Everton. After that, he was exhausted and lost his best performance.

Neymar I always felt was never looking for a real challenge. I mean, yeah he moved to Paris but that club was there to win it all and conquer everything. Messi's a different story, he would succeed easily wherever he went, even if he is a bit older now, he's just a guy with a heart totally conquered by Barca.

Suarez, yeah, a different case as well, he grew and grew wherever he went, you can even argue he changed again at Ateltico.
4787  Economy / Exchanges / Re: U.K Banned binance exchange. on: July 15, 2021, 06:39:16 AM
Even the last?
I've heard about 4-5 press releases from the major banks shutting down payments to Binance but still, all of them already?
Do you have any source for it?

Yes, I read from an earlier source and Binance itself that Clear Junction was still honoring payments processing (this means euro deposits into Binance plus euro withdrawals out of Binance. But then this announcement itself came from their website 2 days ago: https://clearjunction.com/news/binance-transactions/

This is the excerpt quote:

Quote
Clear Junction can confirm that it will no longer be facilitating payments related to Binance.

We have decided to suspend both GBP and EUR payments and will no longer be facilitating deposits or withdrawals in favour of or on behalf of the crypto trading platform.
4788  Economy / Speculation / Re: 22 july, BTC 20k$ or 70k$? on: July 15, 2021, 06:02:29 AM
Everyone is losing now. Holding digital currency isn't a safe haven after. Sad faith that all the things we have heard, this is happening. We'll find out more on 22 july.

But at least not as badly as BTC, which is always a good thing for me. I have to be honest and say I'm not very pleased of course but as long as we maintain the old ATH of 20k I will be in good spirits generally. There's always a next rally, though we may not really be done yet as 50MA is still holding strong.
4789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: July 14, 2021, 03:12:53 PM
It's not as exciting as the real thing but it's still Champions League and still exciting for us as Soccer Blackjack. I miss the feeling of a hit, how about all of you?

Lots of corners usually at this type of contest, go! So tight the odds!
4790  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC broke through 33,500 USDT on: July 14, 2021, 02:41:04 PM
Well, to everyone they should do as they like. I get that a lot of people made money during the TikTok challenge Doge thing last year, and also a lot of people made huge amounts from Gamestop and then Elon's tweets, good for them. But this is something different for me. To get involved like this and pretending to care. I don't care if people want to pump and dump, they all deserve what they get but then to come in the industry and pretend to care and make a change? Something completely different for me.
That's the thing, those people who you do not care about caused the crypto price to be a lot more volatile and the money to go towards wrong things. For example, if doge didn't increased but the same money went towards bitcoin we could have seen bitcoin go to 80k maybe or even 100k and then we would have all other coins to go up at the same time as well, we would still eth at 5-6k and maybe bnb at 1k, because bitcoin increased as well. That is what we should be focusing on, the fact that bitcoin is going up, all other smaller coins that are "meme coins" getting money is a pure waste because I know that it will definitely go down eventually and that is just not something I can handle or bare to see.

You do not care about it but all of that ends up hurting you as well in the long run, or at least not helping you as much as it should and that really matters.

Fair enough, but I see all their wrong actions as only temporary that will actually only help Bitcoin in the long run. I take the 2017 and 2018 events as an example of this lesson. They tried to split Bitcoin in 2017, and in fact many many splits happened. But the forks died, and even those who previously asked for big blocks many of them returned to Bitcoin and admitted they were wrong. But there was proof it was wrong.

That actually made Bitcoin even stronger because outsiders saw how it survived and grew stronger and now Segwit is not contested and adopted even by every other altcoin doing PoW.

So I kinda disagree it hurts in the long run:)
4791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Small Love Potion - undervalued NFT tagged token on: July 14, 2021, 02:09:19 PM
Among 99% of other memecoins, deficoins, swapcoins and NFTs all totally down from their listing price.

Have you played Axie? Would you say it's the most mindblowing game on earth? Because if not, people gonna get bored and move on. If they haven't already.
4792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin that two people highly esteem on: July 14, 2021, 01:01:25 PM
Lately only? You need to get your crypto memecoin A game up man, they've been at it for over a year now. Elon doesn't dislike BTC or like DOGE. He is just pumping DOGE for ego boost, and showing off what he can say/do about BTC. It won't last of course and you might see dogecoin is now 50% off the BTC price it used to be. Sucks to be a DOGE holder.
4793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: July 14, 2021, 12:17:51 PM
I am not a huge soccer ( sorry, football ) fan but when it comes to tourney time whether it's UEFA or Champions League or whatever, then I find it pretty fun and entertaining to watch.  Being that my family traveled over on the preverbal boat from Italy 2 generations ago, I always room for team Italia and put a few shekels on the game.  I really had no idea who would win but thought it would be fun to bet it anyway.  What an exciting game!!

I wouldn't call myself a big football fan either. I've never really gone to stadiums to watch, not that we have nice games here but even if national games happen I won't buy a ticket. I'm fine watching Barca on tv, even if they come here to visit I doubt I'd go and look for them.

Congrats to Italia, you get to see them again in Olympics;)
4794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 14, 2021, 10:46:59 AM
I'm just curious how you guys feel about Sha'Carri Richardson being banned or suspended from the Olympics and then ultimately being left off the 4 x 100 sprinter relay team? Personally I fully understand why this happened and rules are rules so it is what it is but I think it's about time that marijuana is removed from the banned substance list.  Marijuana is NOT a performance enhancing drug and is a very helpful and safe way to treat inflammation, stress, pain etc.

I don't know about drugs so much but I've actually seen myself friends who take weed a lot and well, if there's anything that can be said about it, it's addictive, it makes them perform WAY less than they should, and while they're on it they're happy but without it they're just looking for ways to score more and everything else becomes less important.

Banning it for performance I disagree, but I think coaches would ban it for taking away focus:)
4795  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ratio of supply on exchanges hits 6 months low on: July 14, 2021, 10:06:41 AM
~snip~

They all play very wisely and take advantage of all the opportunities offered by the crypto market, and we all know that those who have the most make the most money. I think we are still far from the fact that the shortage of BTC on exchanges will cause a price increase, because although to some maybe 18.75 million BTC in the current circulation may seem very little looking at the big picture, the fact is that we have millions of BTC available for sale, in one way or another.

Therefore, all this data from crypto exchanges can be considered quite irrelevant given that they are quite unreliable - and on the other hand we see that the real trade takes place far from our eyes.

Indeed, you make money with money, and if you don't have enough, you can't make enough. But yeah, I really don't think there is any severe shortage that makes price go up because these prices aren't yet enough to make people go and say buy. Still probably more selling than buying right now, everyone is in a wait and see mode and the bulls are more than happy to be patient and wait.
4796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC] Eloncoin - Mars, here we come!! 🚀 - POS Energy Efficient. on: July 14, 2021, 08:47:15 AM
Been a long, long time since I did POS coins, guys. There was a time I was having all these wallets open on my computer, at first making quite decent income from reselling back into BTC, but eventually when POS madness got crazy, not even high interest earning could counter the 99% price drop.

Tempted to see how far this goes as I do like lightlord and am a Bitvest supporter:P
Most of PoS coins out there are trash, no doubt, because of their supply model and specially without any real adoption. I had staked one coin few years ago and the output was too bad, I had incurred a good loss.
However, ElonCoin is also same PoS coin and I'm staking this one too. Have purchased some good amount and getting some good rewards. Don't know where this coin will be landed too (lightlord is leading to MARS  Cheesy). The block reward is supposed to be 500 EMC per coin after 2/3 years if I'm correct and after than, we may see some good pump. Let's hold and wait.

I stakes something like 10 coins on my own wallet, and then maybe 20 or 30 more on POScoin site (forgot the actual name but you could just stake on their pools and earn a share of it). Like I said, the income initially was good but when altcoin season busted, I basically lost everything (because of price drop).

2 to 3 years? I can wait, but not sure if memecoins will still be popular in 2024;) Let us find out!
4797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: July 14, 2021, 08:11:42 AM
I also took those two specials using all my freebets won from the Sunday Funday:) I even took a betbuilder on Swedish team Malmo, I opted to choose them NOT to win and went for corners instead but Riga totally outcornered them so I still lost even predicting 3 goals and BTTS:) No luck for pre-season, can't wait for new season!

I saw in Clubtalk requests for Olympics specials too! Maybe?Smiley
4798  Economy / Exchanges / Re: U.K Banned binance exchange. on: July 14, 2021, 06:51:21 AM
So just to update, it seems now even the last bank in UK processing EURO withdrawals/deposits for Binance has already taken the decision today to cease its services.

Meanwhile FCA has clarified UK customers can still use binance.com itself.

Tough news for EU customers I guess but has anyone felt affected by this already?
4799  Economy / Speculation / Re: 22 july, BTC 20k$ or 70k$? on: July 14, 2021, 06:15:57 AM
We are fully declined to the area of the 50 week average which is still rising, so a bounce might happen but not 70k.   Way more work to be done yet

I'll post a weekly bar graph because to me that is the master plan that is of most reference and its also the most simple take and so the most likely clear view for accurate projections.

I think part of the weakness could be also that ETH has not been holding up its share of the support (broken 2000 and now below 1900). I know usually alts rely on Bitcoin, but in the previous bounce we also saw that as ETH held up its share of support, Bitcoin was able to bounce, and when it couldn't, we saw more losses on BTC. Stupid correlation but I think now confidence is shared across major crypto. Do you agree?
4800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: July 13, 2021, 06:14:33 PM
I don't think I've ever bet on this kind of game before since I don't even really watch didn't even know there was such a thing as a gold cup;) I guess this is something like that new cup for Maradona I saw is being suggested? Or am I dreaming something else?

Panama are not the favorites. What is this?Wink
