481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: ZEC: Does pool matter? on: June 15, 2017, 07:14:20 PM
Let's say I'm on suprnova instead of nicehash... Would i get less zcoin?
They are not only taking big fee , but also you are paid in btc from those who rent your hashpower and they always rent less than market price to make some profit , nicehash is for newbies, if you want to mine zec really then you should join a good pool with good luck percentage like flypool and convert your coins to btc through exchanges.

what exchanges do you rec. currently using poloniex but as with everything you hear horror stories. taking it for a grain but still would like to hear opinions

Yeah, those SCE tier charges are brutal. I love the way they allocate 389 kw as standard tier 1 max......That is ridiculous for anyone living in SoCal. How big are your rigs that you're pulling a $2000 bill?

currently have 12 rigs at the main location; 4-5 1080Ti's each rig so my main panel is fully maxed out. Have a few more spread out other locations.

Waiting for leasing agents all month. It's like pulling teeth but I've been looking for locations for the past 2 years for other businesses as well, it's just a slow process since property is expensive finding deals is not easy.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fourth alt coin thread last three got oversized. on: June 15, 2017, 04:53:29 PM
Well.. I forgot about SCE and their TIER pricing - My $2,000 light bill just came - paying $0.33 now - LMAO

Guess they made my mind up for me - it's time to rent a warehouse and get these out of the house lol
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum GPU Miner monitoring with SMS Support on: June 15, 2017, 07:05:49 AM
Just did a quick test - it's offline for Claymore 9.5

*edit  -  started working on its own Smiley

Thanks

Very cool! I wish I learned how to code earlier on.

Do you plan on monetizing this somehow in the future? Adsense on the site or some sort of RAT installation tool lol
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The beginning of the end? on: June 15, 2017, 06:06:05 AM
FUCK! It's the beginning of the end everyone, really sorry to say it.

You all should sell everything you have, hardware, BTC, ALTc, everything.

Your dog and your mothers, sister too. I'm into MILF's - I'll buy cheap and RESELL ... after proper use of course.

487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum GPU Miner monitoring with SMS Support on: June 15, 2017, 06:04:01 AM
I tried it out for a little bit -

Is there a way to organize the workers? Currently it seems like they just group up by order of the refresh so if you have more than a couple miners, it gets all disorganized.

If it could be set in place and workers/groups not move that would be better for organization.

Great job so far though looks good.

Also -

10 stops and says offline after a while - 0.8 works without that glitch

I don't have any kind of graph or profit notes even though I added in all info on the charts - using localhost as host to make it simple.

Hi,

The ordering was a glitch yes, i already changed it back to normal, adding ordering currently then. I'm working on version 11 currently to fix that offline problem. Will be released today. Currently there is only available daily profit chart, updated every 15min.

Thank you for the feedback.

Thank you for your hard work - I know it's not easy  I had someone write me a php script to manage and monitor a couple THOUSAND android phones running pay to click programs - it was NOT EASY lol.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: June 15, 2017, 05:29:11 AM

With DGB I'm getting about $14 a day.

You can downclock your mem.

Hi,

Is it DGB-Skein and which pool?
What is your hash rate?

Skein on suprnova, getting 980MH/s

Nice hashrate.

What are your frequencies/TDP for those 980 MH/s?

900-1000 w
75%
+180-225
-500

Variance is due to I use about 14 different cards and they're all different, but honestly, not by much.

Biggest PIECE OF SHIT card is MSI Armor.

Fuck that card. Runs hot as shit - requires TWO 8 pins. not a 8+6

And it blows hot air the wrong fucking way.
It does hash higher, but that's most likely because it's OC'd to hell. I can't go past +180-90 without it crashing so I know it's OC'd heavy.

Yes, fuck tha card
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NVIDIA: zcash vs DGB? on: June 15, 2017, 05:23:54 AM
Same question here, the differnce is like $4 a day mining DGB, you could exchange DGB to Zcash if you want them in Zcash+ the differnce.

what card do you have that you're only making 4/day? My calc have me at 0.0048 mBTC/MH/s

I think he means you earn $4 more per day doing DGB compared to zcash

Low estimate per card 850 MH/s (>100+/card I just like to low est) = $10.20 @ .000012DGB/$2,500/BTC

On nicehash I think it was $8 per day/card if I can remember correctly
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How much time does it take to build a "typical" mining rig on: June 15, 2017, 05:21:13 AM
If you play with different hardware hours. Keeping everything the same I'm up and running in 15-30 minutes now and I'm sure I can get it down to like 10 minutes flat. 99.9% sure of that.

It's literally plug and play, I'm all about efficiency and time is money.

493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: miners, when and how do you sell your coins? on: June 15, 2017, 05:04:29 AM
I hoard if I need cash I use LBC or if I'm lazy there are guys on DarkNet I use only charge 10% above preeve cash to my door.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fourth alt coin thread last three got oversized. on: June 15, 2017, 03:01:39 AM

What settings are you running on each cards respectfully?
I have both of those O_o

... since my other rigs managed nearly 13/day/per card today on zpool... im up to 12 gtx1080ti's now

Man I only managed 0.003975231 mBTC/MH/s which comes out to $8.45 a card so I yanked all my rigs off zpool - it did go up from a few days ago but I'm going to mine and hold instead of converting straight to BTC
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BCN mining with Nvidia Tesla K80 on: June 15, 2017, 01:38:57 AM
Can you explain a bit more about your settings? I find it hard to accept it's working... But otherwise, if it's working, you are a lucky guy Wink Hi @Unacceptable, Nvidia says that new GPUs are built for HPC & high-engineering tasks...

no i stop mining i was feeling like bulshit 100000$ worth computer was making 10$ per day on mining Cheesy and it was less then electricity cost

A $100,000 computer? Come on. Don't stop there, we want pics of that beast

How much time does it take to build a "typical" mining rig?

6 cards (AMD or Nvidai) + windows?

6 cards (AMD or Nvidai) + Linux?

Typical setup (z170/z270 board, etc), or what ever you prefer, mining - ETH,ZCASH,ETC,ETC

There are tons of threads on this subject. Just take your time and do a bit of searching.  typical setup is 1200-8000$ so there really isn't a typical.

If you read everything in here - it will guide you to about 99% of what you need to know.

@Phil - 4.46 those are some nice numbers man!
Question for ya - for your garage how are you venting? I know you took tdp down to 50-60 but do you do anything as far as exhausting goes?

I only have the 2 suicide vents in my garage - it's getting a bit warm in there

I'm starting to think I should have gone with 208v 30A instead of 2 30A 120v.

Decided to go 120v instead of 208v so I could run my SMT3000's - but I'm starting to think I should have just done 208v

It only gives me 5min of backup power - I'm kinda just using it as a big ass Killa Watt meter lol

498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: lol so many newbs flooding the forum asking same questions on: June 13, 2017, 11:27:43 PM
There is no way this can sustain for mining. I went to Fry's today and the guy told me they sold 60 cards yesterday.......at one location. People are crazy dropping 6-10 grand and not knowing what they are doing.

LOL if it was Manhattan Beach location, he exaggerated a tiny bit - it was less than 60 Smiley
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Anyone know anyone that has PCIe risers in stock? on: June 12, 2017, 12:04:09 AM
Anyone know anywhere that has the 6pin PICE Risers in stock? I ran out and everyone is either shipping from asia so couple weeks delay and amazon sellers nobody is in stock till next week.

Looking for shipping to and from the USA 1 or 2 day shipping preferred. Same day even better lol

on a fence to buy evga 1070s. I can choose between sc, sc black, sc2, FE.
Any suggestion which one I should go with? I searched up a bit and heard you cannot control fan speed on sc2.. Anyone knows if it is true for sc2?

I own none of them.
I know they are very good on warranty service with the few pus's I killed 3 of 30 went dead.   2 on a bad mobo the other was pushed for a few years.

Back to your questions.

the sc

the sc black

the sc 2

the fe or founders

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAD6H5ES5360&cm_re=evga_1070-_-14-487-247-_-Product

the prices above are not accurate since the founders is build sold at a crazy high price  by a reseller

they all have a 3 year warranty

they all have a 1594 clock for core except for founders which has 1508

a lower start clock can be helpful if you are in a hot spot and want to clock low.

I like blower style the found is just that.

If I were buying them I would get the founder because of the blower style.  but not at the high price I linked to above.

In your case  do you want quiet ones and will you have a lot of space between with a riser build  get the cheapest 2 fan model.  if one of them has locked fans do not get it .  miners do not want or need or should ever use auto fan settings.
manual is better to mine with.

I have a lot of space but would prefer quiet model as it will be in my house. also in pretty cold location.

and yes the fan is my real concern. I am just not sure which model has locked fans or not. I just heard randomly on some website sc2 has lock fans and cannot adjust fan speed manually. Have you tried aorus or zotac amp edition 1070s? I dont mind price being little high, just looking for something that will run stable with fan control and good hashrate as I am planning to build only 1 rig.

My least favorite 1080ti is the MSI 2 fan model - the stupid thing blows air INTO the case, NOT out. It's the stupidest thing I've ever seen - who the fuck designed it to do that?! "We can exhaust the air out of the case through the expansion slot... OR... Eureka! Let's make it blow the hot air in the other direction and into the case!"

I dont know about 1070's but on my 1080Ti EVGA SC2's afterburner adjusts the fan speed perfectly fine, and they are actually 1 of my favorite cards for now.
