Ognasty , mc_lovin and Vite did not get their prize

This is like the 52nd time I've had to respond for the past 5 months.... I know.... They'll get it eventually. This is getting to harassment level.
482  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Xenland has not delivered my prize on: November 09, 2012, 03:55:18 AM
If memory serves (5 months ago) I told you I sent'em (and they were in my car at that point) because my intent was to ship'em in the morning, long story short a lot of problems(business and personal) have come up and I had to attend to those problems further more I live out in the middle of no where and it requires gas money(which is an even bigger monopoly in smaller towns) to drive 20 miles there and back to get to Post office because of my monetary problems It is still unknown when these prizes will be sent, all I know is that I'll be getting income soon(in the next following months) and then I can afford the gas.

This is what I've told sen many times but he seems to think fiat just grows on trees and gas is cheap or something(Slight humor). I feel like an ass hat for letting the felling of a prize show up at your door step just disappeared, but I assure you if, I could stop being bugged about it(directed at sen) I can complete my money making tasks and expend the money to finally send/ship prizes.

Again, I apologize, this is a emotionally sad situation but It will get worked out, Thanks for your patience everyone!

Sorry mates, I've been lost with a huge Bitcoin project I've been working on with other members, as well as college being a drag on my time as well.
486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Radio Podcast (Topics needed for next podcast) on: November 09, 2012, 02:37:52 AM
since its in a few hours already, I assume you have no intent to research your topic?

I can research any topic with pretty good accuracy.. I'm a researchin MACHINE!

Then research the best current projects in development, pls!

That goes with out saying, if one wolf is always finding the food then they all die, moral of that lame sentence i just wrote is that: "It helps when everyone chips in their idea of What should be discussed"

489  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Whats the command to ping my Bitcoin node to send me X amount of blocks? on: November 06, 2012, 09:20:19 PM
Thanks for the information everyone!
All this information is going towards the Bitcoin Pseudocode Client Documentation project: https://github.com/Xenland/Bitcoin-Pseudocode-Client/tree/gh-pages

Does anyone know how to query a Bitcoin node from the outside with getblocks?

I tried to curl request with my Bitcoin node in "JSON" formate and bitcoin client says unknown message or invalid message. Any BTC source code references for connecting to the p2p interface?

Recomended links?

What about being a local exchanger? Selling and buying bitcoins for cash, for profit? That is one side-job opportunity, in a bigger city it could make a nice slice of coins.

Not a bad Idea, but if they already have USD they just buy the things around town no need for them to buy Bitcoins, if they earned Bitcoins I think they would be more inclined to buy and trade Bitcoins in the long haul, for example maybe all of my friends could start using Bitcoins and we could trade for small things amongst each other for bitcoins(cigarettes, booze, food tab, you name it, etc). Then the network effect happens and eventually every one friends are using Bitcoins then all the local stores begin to accept them and hire me to get them setup.
497  Economy / Marketplace / My non-techie friends can't earn Bitcoins on: November 05, 2012, 06:29:28 AM
I've been decking away at getting my friends to trust Bitcoins, I've explained to them in laymens terms how the network works and how easy it is to use. They want to earn bitcoins because they have absolutely no money to Buy in to it. They would like to do anything non-techie to earn Bitcoins over the internet for example, fill out surveys, play games, fill out forms, etcetera, etcetera.

I've looked at coinworker.com and currently working 8 hours a day doing coinworker stuff they could make $50-$90/month (in BTC value) which is like $2/day for 8 hours worth of work, Any ideas mates?

500  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Bitcoin Mining Formula (Bitcoin Pseudo client Documentation Research) on: November 04, 2012, 10:51:12 PM
I basically understand that everyone runs a client, and then talks to the trusted hard coded nodes for syncing to the network (Downloading Blocks)
So we take the raw block data: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Genesis_block
Then what steps/formula is applied to the next confirmed block?
I'm mostly curious how miners are always finding a random nonce, but who sets the next nonce and where is the next nonce set in the next block? How are we able to find a random nonce but also be able to confirm that the nonce is true but at the same time NOT know what the nonce of the next block is?

I will give Bitcoin tips to the one that gives me the most informative explanation (I am a coder so Pseudo-codes or real code will help me understand better along with English language explanations)

Thanks mates!
