482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: September 06, 2017, 09:40:27 AM
I plan to use bitcoin as my retirement fund. I'll keep investing in bitcoin every month and hold it for at least five years and see the situation. I may use it to pay for my holiday though.
483  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: investFeed [$IFT] ICO Official Thread-Cryptocurrency Incentivized Social Network on: September 06, 2017, 08:08:25 AM
pastinya bakal di pumm lgi gan soalnya skrang ratenya udah 900 shatosian klo gk salah saya lihat kmrin masih 800 san wah yg punya bitcoin kmrin pasti pda borong tuh, profit 100 shatosi jga dh lumayan banget loh
484  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Trading bitcoin, Haramkah??? on: September 05, 2017, 07:04:36 PM

485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can one trace a stollen btc? on: September 05, 2017, 05:18:41 PM
hello all,how are u all,
a friend was scammed of a huge amount of btc,and i want to know if one can retract a btc already in another wallet, thank u
You can see the transaction in the explorer, where the money is going etc but you can't take the money back. It's gone once you lost the control over the wallet. So better move on and try to recoup that lose.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the relationship between China's ban on ico and market prices on: September 05, 2017, 10:47:53 AM
why after the Chinese government forbids ico, the state of the market so immediately changed, whether the influence or the relationship between china and decision
It's just a panic situation in china right now because of the regulation. The people in china afraid that thr government might chase after them in trading crypto after this. Things will be back to normal in a few weeks.
487  Economy / Speculation / Re: Made a buy order for $475 for 1 bitcoin on: September 04, 2017, 04:15:25 PM
That kind of price won't happen. Even if the price reach 2k,i will very surprised. Bitcoin has nothing to do with ico's. Ethereum shoulf crash harder because the only use i've seen so far is for ico and not all country will ban ico, they only want to regulate it to provide safety for the investor.
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a currency or asset? on: September 02, 2017, 06:15:25 AM
I treat bitcoin as an asset because as a currency, the transaction fee is way too high and another thing is there only a few merchant in my country that accept bitcoin so the only time i use bitcoin as a currency is when i want to buy something digital online.
489  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I cash out my BTC now? on: September 01, 2017, 03:43:44 PM
If you had your payment in BTC, would you cash out your money or you would wait increasing of cryptocurrency?
It depends, if i need that money very badly then i will cash it out without hesitation but if it is not urgent then i will save it. Looking at the progress this year, i think if i save until december it will get to $5000 so it's better than cashing out now.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So I sold my BCC ... on: September 01, 2017, 10:34:53 AM
They forked BTC and made BCC.  This means I had some BCC I never paid for, so I just put it in an exchange and brought some BTC with it.  Now, I only had 0.3 BTC but there must be with loads who have a darn sight more and who got a LOT of BCC for nothing.  This raises some questions.

  • Can it be good for the crypto economy if a load of money suddenly appears out of nowhere?
  • How much BCC immediately got converted back into BTC?
  • What's to stop people forking again, just to make a killing like this?

Was BCC good or bad in this respect?
It is just some people have different purpose and ideal so they can't agree with bitcoin, they choose to make a new one. If there's no demand then the new coin worth nothing. I don't know how much but i guess it's a lot. If this kind of forking want to stop, there will have to be a decision that every people agree, which is very unlikely.
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin mining becomes illegal world wide? on: August 31, 2017, 12:33:20 PM
There's no problem if mining become illegal. Maybe large mining farms will have to close because thay can't hide their mining farm, the difficulty will go down and we will back to the early days of bitcoin where people can solo mining.
492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: August 31, 2017, 09:35:57 AM
Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that.

What do you guys think? Wink

I think digital currency will never replace paper money, because how about other people who can't operate and not dependent in the new technology? Me, myself I'm not used to an ATM card and machine. So, how can we survive without paper money? And how about the sari-sari store business, it's not going to be easy for them to use the digital currency.
Developed country will have the higher chance for digital money to replace paper money as the infrastructure can support it. Maybe it's a bit hard at first but you'll get used to it as time goes on.
493  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: August 31, 2017, 06:41:16 AM
Bitcoin can lose its value, but it's hard for bitcoin to lose even 50% its value. If there's a new technology that's better than bitcoin, then that will make bitcoin lose its value.
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: August 30, 2017, 01:50:47 PM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.
Well if i face such situation, the first thing i will do is ask him why he hates bitcoin, what kind of bad experience he has with bitcoin. If it's not a serious thing, i will try to explain my view. If he still hate it then i will respect his opinion.
495  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: August 30, 2017, 01:15:44 PM
If the amount is 2.1 bitcoin, then it's worth to save it because the price increases within a year maybe equivalent to some months of salary (depends on where you live). But if it's only a few cents, better forget it because it is not even enough to pay thr transaction fee.
496  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need advice for bitcoin wallet.. on: August 30, 2017, 01:12:15 PM
You should choose wallet that you like and suitable for your need. Bitcoin core is very good but u have to download the blockchain, which is very large and takes a lot of harddisk space. Electrum probably suitable for your need, you have the private key, no need to download large amount of file and quite secure.
497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Ransom on: August 30, 2017, 07:45:48 AM
What if you had, let's say....5000 Bitcoins in your custody and suddenly someone demanded it as a ransom in exchange for someone very important to you, would you make the exchange?
That is a hard question to be honest. I will pay the ransom if the hostage is my wife or sister, other than that, i won't pay the ransom  Smiley.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you guys withdraw your bitcoins to cash? on: August 30, 2017, 07:25:13 AM
I know that for some of you, you can withdraw it directly to your bank account using wallets like coinbase but this feature is not available for many countries.
Since its not available in my country too I always withdraw my bitcoins from my address to payza then from payza to payoneer (by using exchangers).

How do you guys withdraw your btc?
There's a lot of ways to cash out your bitcoin right now. The first one is to check your country local exchange because that is the easiest way. If there's no exchange in your country, you can sell your bitcoin in localbitcoin.
499  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 Taking crypto payments mainstream. on: August 30, 2017, 07:21:49 AM
Semoga aja cepet sampe hardcapnya.
500  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: trading BTC kena wajib pajak? on: August 29, 2017, 06:28:37 PM
