What confidence were you having in eth. Looking at the current market state, do you have to let someone tell you to hold on all sells? Almost all coins went down more than half their price in 2017 so your lose in confidence for another coin is useless and you will cry one day for doing that. I am not against you buying a different coin but changing all your eth to another alt is useless ans senseless at the moment.

Who are around you in the first place? Maybe crypto noobs who do not know what bitcoin is and its potentials. All the same, you can sell without any restriction but I advice you to wait 4 more months. Things will change very soon, don't get panic with the current market.

It's not about investing in every ICO as you might have heard. I think it's about looking for 3 to 5 coins and investing in them. You will be okay with that only if you are a hodler. People who don't make profits from investing are those who rush and sell their coins right after ICO.

Yeah, I expected this to happen because the correction just happened to help take money from weak hands that cannot stand their coins going below their expected gains. After evrything, I know the price will go up again. I won't be surprised if the market shakes once again before everything starts going up again. I don't agree with you that the price at which I bought my altcoins to btc is better now. Everything is moving together so it'll be better to hodl your coins as they are. Things have changed not like first when btc is falling, alts will be rising. I think it's time to but with fiat and not to change our holdings.

You are very right dude. This is a good time to buy but you need to buy wisely. What do I mean by wisely? Don't change from one coin to another. Just hodl whatever coin you have.

I think the next coin to bitcoin is bitcoincash. Despite the fork that occurred last year in August, the network keeps growing now and then. I have more hopes for it although I don't compare it to btc.

There are more of those coins/tokens these days. And it is a common thing this time Go to coinmarketcap and check the new coins. You will notice that most of the new coins are lower than their presale price not to talk of the ico price.

In the first place, do you want to trade or just hodl? For trading, I will advice you to hold on for now. If you become experienced then you can start trading else they will dump on you always.
For you to buy a coin/token, you should be registered on the exchange where it is traded and then buy it.
You can find where your coins/tokens are traded at coinmarketcap.com by searching the name of your coin/token and clicking on the market tab should list all the exchanges where the coins/tokens are traded.
You choose to either transfer them to a wallet that you have private keys to and only you control it(safest) or leave it on the exchange. In either case, the coins/tokens are yours.
This should help you to get some coins/tokens.

My favourite altcoin is minexcoin. The component I like about the coin is the parking system which it uses to reward holders.
Look for it at coinmarket cap and join their group for more updates.

This whole issue with kyc has an agenda I guess. Why will something built on anonymity now request identity of members before allowing them participate in sales and even bounties. For me I will give a second thought to projects of such sort.

With this idea, most people are establishing coins which will make us see new altcoins.

I don't think bitcoin needs social media promotion. It has already reached where it must reach with the help of its community. Social media platforms are rather facilitating fud by banning crypto ads so we should opt for promotion on any social media.

well, as per when you wrote this post, btc price was high compared to when am replying but what I qould like to say is that this is the right time to buy btc. If you really want to earn much from your $1500, consider trading with it because the crypto market isn't that stable to rely on for upward movements only.
