481  Economy / Economics / Re: Central Bank of Nigeria to limit cash withdrawals on: December 19, 2022, 03:54:31 PM
Based on the CBN governor explanation concerning the limit cash withdrawal in the country few weeks ago, show that this new policy will bring good result to Nigeria economy in the future, that will make other countries to copy the strategy from Nigeria government. This policy will help the individuals in the country not to spend money anyhow than to endure to save more money that will make them not to experience poverty from their various places in the country.

I’m curious on how exactly would you think that this new policy would bring a good result to the Nigerian economy in the long run. You also mentioned that the policy would help citizens in the country not to spend money anyhow. That’s amusing to me. A policy stopping citizens from withdrawing a certain amount and you think it’s great because it helps citizens not to spend their own money anyhow. They should ensure and save money so they wouldn’t experience poverty later on. Your reasons for thinking that this policy is good cause it helps people not to spend money anyhow is absurd.

If you think government policy is unreasonable, do you have a better solution? Or do you just sit there and do nothing and criticize the government? It's funny when many people criticize the government, while the government is the ultimate authority, and others are just commoners who go online to slander the government and do nothing for the country.
482  Economy / Economics / Re: Only one way to save people now on: December 19, 2022, 03:49:14 PM
If you advise people to leave fiat and switch to USDT it makes no difference, they are all centralized and regulated by the government. I don't believe anyone can leave the bank or fiat, even though they are having some problems but don't try to ignore that we have been using it for hundreds of years and are still using it every day.
483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Discussion Thread on: December 19, 2022, 03:45:50 PM
I'll tell you my opinion, at the end of the match you could see how the referee was trying to help the French team, but Argentina was so assertive that it led to its logical conclusion, to their victory. It was clear how difficult it was psychologically for the Argentine players, they seemed to feel the burden of responsibility. It was a good final, and the strongest won. Mbappe will also become a football legend, he is a very big talent and he still has his whole career ahead of him!
This is actually a ridiculous claim that the referee was on the side of France towards the end. The referee might have made some few bad calls but he did well in that game. The luckiest team that benefitted from this bad calls was Argentina, the foul on Marcus thuram in the ending minutes of the regular time was a clear penalty because there was contact from Romero. Had VAR intervened it would have been given. Overall the referee had a decent game. Argentina were throwing there bodies alot into the game which made him gave fouls to France at the ending of the game.
My curiosity is why didn't VAR intervene on penalty calls and or the wrong ones given almost throughout the knockout stages. Did FIFA Scrapped it from that moment?
I realized there was no VAR used for the final as well, I watched the whole game aside from a few toilet breaks so if I am not wrong there was absolutely no VAR at all, and considering this was the world cup finals, you would expect ref to watch the VAR a lot more during the penalties, if I am not wrong we had like 3 penalties just during the game right?
This means that you would at least expect one of them to be checked. In any case, I believe ref was good enough and the game was great, as someone who is neither Argentinian nor French, I could say it's not going to be that much of a trouble for me to watch one or the other win, so the game itself was what I cared about and it was superb game.

Furthermore, I do not agree with the fact that the referee sided with either Argentina or France in the match. In my opinion, the match referee was quite neutral, and the decisions that were made were also accurate. In the final, there were three penalties taken, and in my opinion, none of them were controversial and none of them were calls that I would consider unfair. There was a very neutral attitude from the referee, even during the free kicks, in my opinion. So, in general, I don't feel that the referee took sides with either of the teams in this game.

Why after every goal from Argentine - France gets a penalty
Seems like they are making France to win. The match is fixed. Seems like France will win

That if he has taken the right decision. Those were penalties. And the last penalty that Argentina conceded was from a general human reaction that the defender of Argentina did. Now it’s time for the penalties. Let’s see who will win the penalty shootout. I don’t think Argentina will be able to win because they don’t have a good record of a penalty shootouts in international football. one goalkeeper will be the hero tonight.
485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 18, 2022, 05:39:46 PM
Messi for the third goal and Argentina is the winner of World Cup 2022, France did mess in defense and left many chances for Argentina and they took  a chance to score a goal and kill the match

Let’s not get too much ahead of anything because there are still five minutes left in this match. We have seen France score 2 goals in a matter of 97 seconds.

And as I was writing, this Mas has turned on its head again. Argentina conceded a penalty because of handball. This was a stupid defense from Argentina. And I think France is going to score this one. This match is giving us everything we expected and everything we didn’t expect from this match. And Mbappé scored another penalty. The scores are level again.
486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 18, 2022, 05:35:57 PM
The match is at it most intense stage the and half time extra time at this point we are fifteen minutes from penalties.
The FIFA world cup is one of the most speculative football events and if you follow from the first half of this finals match Argentina was heading the game with 2 goals but the second half brought in the most exciting moment with France eqaulizing the 2 goals. But if the last fifteen minutes did not decide then we have no choice but to go for penalties.

Lionel Messi just scored for Argentina and the match has turned on its head again in the 108th minute.

Only eight minutes left to play in this match+injury time. Does Argentina have it?
Do they have the nerve to hold on for a little more, for a little longer to leave the World Cup trophy?

This is turning out to be money were the final for everyone. Argentina will have to be careful while attacking because even though France is tired, Mbappé still has the pace to catch them off guard. Argentina will obviously try to waste as much time as possible.
487  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is the only crypto you should BUY on: December 18, 2022, 11:53:57 AM
The way I see it, all bullshit token and coin abandons are done for this one reason; they only have one purpose which I will explain better...
We saw Luna and FTT are made for a reason which is to support those companies themselves, the day these companies drop their token or their currency will drop too.

That's why for me bitcoin is perfection because this previous one is multipurpose and its foundation is to avoid intermediaries there are no companies managing it, we will not be able to match satoshi due to the price drop(thats a clever move for him to stay behind the scenes).

Because we know that satoshi does not depend on a company to reinforce bitcoin.
And with this I finish all the currencies are a scam(meaning that the price can disappear) for me, personally  the legit ones they are btc and tether.

What do you think?
I disagree, we are here to invest and investing is for profit so we have a lot of good options along with bitcoin. Bitcoin is good but it can't be as profitable as many other altcoins, so investing in every bitcoin is only right for you, not for many. I also make a lot of money from altcoins, so there is no reason for me to give it up.
488  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving one third what you earn monthly is not that hard, isn't it ? on: December 18, 2022, 11:50:01 AM
If I can earn that level of income, I will be more likely to save as you suggest. That's a huge amount of money in my country, very few people can achieve, and that's also the level of income I aim for. I hope I will get it soon next year and I will have a better investment plan when the income is 3k$ per month. I will focus on bitcoin as much as I can.
489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 18, 2022, 06:28:27 AM
I think no one is watching the test match between Australia and South Africa, Australian bowlers have completely dominated the match. South Africa lost 7 wickets and scored only 64 runs.

Starc, Scott Boland, and  Pat Cummins took 2 weeks each while  Lyon took one wicket in the 2nd innings in the test being played at Brisbane.
I think South Africa needs to improve their game a lot if they want to win any match on the Australian home ground.
I was expecting some resistance from South Africa but they played like an associate team in Gabba. Now, Australia just need only 34 runs to win this first test match which could be done without losing a wicket, I guess. The next test match is on boxing day which must be more exciting but if South Africa continues similar kind of performance then we will have another two day encounter only.

It was beyond my expectations that a Test match would end in just two days. South Africa showed very bad batting. After scoring only 152 runs in the first innings I thought they would score at least 200 runs in the second innings. But they lost all the wickets for just 99 runs. They gave Australia a target of only 34 runs. The pitch is not batting friendly. It looks like Australia will lose a few wickets to collect 34 runs.

The position from which Morocco has come from the semi -finals is worthy of praise. However, it can be said that they are a good team. Playing in the semifinals in the World Cup is nothing less especially for Morocca. I believe they were far behind the courage to play with their big teams and the confidence they needed. If they can maintain this continuity of their game and able to grow their confidence, then Morocco can win the world cup in the future. It can be considered a big problem for few teams who play well but lag behind for experience.

Everyone expected Morocco to be eliminated from the first round. But to everyone's surprise, Morocco qualified for the knockout round as group champions. Morocco's attack was not strong. However, Morocco's performance was stable. The coach's match strategy was excellent. Also their defense was very strong. If Morocco's attack had been stronger, they would probably have been able to qualify for the finals as well.
491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 18, 2022, 06:12:59 AM
The result is according to people predictions that Croatia can able to beat Morocco yesterday and i am sure most of bettors have already wons their bets and odds @2.38 for Croatia at that time indeed quite high so this is decent odds to those who bets for Croatia win however talking about Morocco they ended this tournament with fantastic achievement although they lose and only gets 4th place but i think people will remember Morocco current squad can be recognized as golden generation and probably their achievement will be hard to repeated by other generation in this team
Yeah, the Moroccan team would be remembered as a dogged team that showed perseverance in the tournament. And I think being the only African team to reach this level of the tournament is note worthy. I had hoped the Moroccans would win and make history to become the first African nation to reach the third place in the tournament and win it.
Croatia played really well and thus, became the victors and winning the third place spot in the World Cup tournament. They worked really hard to get here and I think the win is well deserved.

The Moroccan team was a nightmare for European teams. Belgium, Spain and Portugal were knocked out of the World Cup after defeats against Morocco. And in every match, Morocco's performance was outstanding. They performed very well and won. I also thought that Morocco would probably win against Croatia in the last match. But they did not win. But the match was very competitive. Morocco's performance in this World Cup has impressed everyone.
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 18, 2022, 06:08:29 AM
incredibly Juventus managed to beat Arsenal,
In the first half, we saw players from the second team and in the third half players from the third team, many of these young will make their way to top teams.

Excellent training for both teams and certainly an unexpected victory for the young Juventus players.
This friendly match or practice can actually be made not serious by Arsenal and of course they save all their energy for the real game because if only in a friendly match they know that there is no need to make a full contribution in that match because maybe the opponent will know the strategy to be used in an actual match.

It is foolish to judge the strength of teams by looking at the results of friendly matches. Teams do not give their full effort in friendly matches. Players don't want to get injured. At the same time, most of the time the important players of the team are absent in these matches. And so many renowned teams lose against weaker teams. And so Arsenal may not perform well in friendly matches. But I believe they will be able to continue in the Premier League.
493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: December 18, 2022, 05:45:42 AM
In any case the comparison is indeed not very appropriate because in terms of age, in terms of achievement it is also very far now. because if you really want a comparison, at least look for an equal comparison because Mbappe and Messi don't really match in terms of performance because from any perspective there are quite significant differences.
When you say Mbappe is better in terms of performance, it's quite natural, because the age is also very different. If you say Messi is better in terms of individuals, this achievement is also reasonable because he is nearing the end.
In this case I also agree with you, because what Messi already has, obviously, Mbappe doesn't necessarily have at this point. Both have different achievements in their careers and also different speed in the game, but it's about accuracy and how to carry the ball past their opponents in the game. I see that things are not that much different so it is correct to compare the two, it is very less suitable to do except with players who are both senior in their football career.
Because of this exact reason people usually compare them at their age. So if Mbappe is 23, then they compare what Messi did until 23 and that is just unreal, dude has been a force of football for nearly 2 decades, in a year or two it will be 2 decades to be fair.
And by age 23 he already achieved more than what Mbappe did, and by 35 or so Mbappe will probably not have what Messi has neither. The type of dominance Barcelona had for a while is the key to what Messi did of course, and Mbappe doesn't have that because with all the money in the world you could not build a La Masia and players like Xavi and Iniesta and Puyol and Pique, and many others who contributed to Messis amazing career.
Mbappe is already breaking a lot of records and it is not impossible for him to take away some of the records that Messi has. He is already scoring a lot of goals for his club and country and is playing in one of the best teams in the world. If he starts scoring more per season he will be close to some of the Messi records. Mbappe won already a world cup and now is missing the champions league and ballon dor and that is just a matter of time

Breaking Messi's records may not be impossible for Mbappe. But it is very difficult. Messi probably won 4 Ballon d'Or at the age of 23. But Mbappe has yet to win a single Ballon d'Or. Messi won 7 Ballon d'Or. Can Mbappe win 7? Mbappe, on the other hand, has already won the World Cup. But Messi could not win the World Cup. If Messi can win the World Cup this year, he will be considered as the great player of all time.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 18, 2022, 05:31:33 AM
I have been noticed Cadiz was very serious to improved their performance and during international break they had several friendly matches and surprisingly Cadiz can able to wins with big scores against several big clubs such as Manchester United even the latest is Roma was defeated by them with huge scores 3-0 and indeed i know this is only friendly matches but losing with that score seems humiliated results and currently Cadiz position was on 19th on standings league and after the match against Roma their manager Sergio González said he was very confident can bringing Cadiz to avoid relegation zone and seems the players too in the good shape

Cadiz is now 19th in the points table. Now their main goal is to get out of the relegation zone. It will not be difficult for Cadiz to stabilize their performance. They won friendly matches against Manchester United and Roma. They managed to score 10 goals in the last three matches. Their players are very confident now. So I think they will probably win the next few matches in La Liga and be able to get out of the relegation zone.
495  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin December price on: December 17, 2022, 03:55:17 PM
but a good thing is Bitcoin can still survive from pressure.
Bitcoin still exists, what do you mean? bitcoin will probably drop more and even below 10k but it will always live and never die. All these Fuds will soon die after completing their mission of bringing bitcoin down to its lowest price.
Every prediction was wrong when people started to believe that bitcoin would recover after the death of FTX. As I said, things are just getting started.
496  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could this be the bottom of Bitcoin? on: December 17, 2022, 03:51:17 PM
The current price of Bitcoin is hovering around $18000. Just pumped a bit today. Bitcoin price has been using $1700 as support for the past few days.
Could the price of Bitcoin fall further?
What do you think about this?
And now the bitcoin price has dropped below 17k, so there is no hope of a bull run by year-end. What I'm thinking is that with all the negative news flooding the market, we're going to have a new bottom at the start of the new year and maybe that will be the last bottom we face.
497  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is on the Verge To Slice Through $30,000 on: December 17, 2022, 03:48:40 PM

Bitcoin price is already slide down below 17K below which totally erased those gains from relief last few days. The weekly candle will close again in red which means more red days to come on the following weeks.

I also believe bitcoin will fall even more before the end of the year and the $30k prediction will never come true. Not only the economic situation is still difficult, but even the market is facing a lot of unfavorable information, so it is not possible to expect the bitcoin price to recover soon. With binance Fuds or DCG's Fuds we should see a new bottom this year soon.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next generations on bitcoin on: December 16, 2022, 05:00:40 PM
What will be certain is that bitcoin will still exist or be used in the next 100 years. Thinking about that is too far-fetched and makes no sense at the moment. We're in the present, so let's try to have more bitcoins than others, that's what we should be more concerned with than thinking about the next 100 years.
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Soyapango is proving that Bitcoin adoption alone is not enough on: December 16, 2022, 03:10:20 PM
Nayib Bukele alone can't push Bitcoin anyway. He did everything from his end. But the whole crypto market is quite Shaky right now. Even Binance facing a huge amount of withdrawal from their exchange. The situation becoming worst every day. A country or a person won't change the situation. It's hard to find right now why Bitcoin should pump. A lot of rumors surrounding the crypto space especially Binance FUD pulling down the market again. We have to wait for a few days to see the market reaction.
This time I won't worry about Fuds, obviously binance is being played badly after the crash of FTX. We are still in the bear season, so sharks will find every excuse to make the market go down, even more, to get people to give up and sell their bitcoins for the lowest price. No need to consider and you should take advantage of buying more with Binance's Fuds.
500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 99% of People Will Lose Crypto in Self Custody on: December 16, 2022, 03:03:41 PM
What he said also makes sense, if users are not careful or do not know how to take care of their non-custod wallets, they are very vulnerable to attacks. But I also wouldn't agree if we put all our assets on centralized exchanges after what happened to FTX. CZ also cannot guarantee that binance will be absolutely safe.
