Contrary to expectations, the Croatia-Morocco match was a fast-paced and active match. Clearly, I enjoyed watching it. The Croats got what they deserved, I can say that Morocco scored its only goal thanks to Croatia. But here is a fact that they play a really good team game and a disciplined game. I don't know if Qatar has the same seasonal diseases because there is many Flu cases in European and Mediterranean countries. Of course this will not rule out Covid-19 cases but might confuse people for a while.

Your wish was not even coming true. Morocco must realize the lost against croatia. I saw that how hard morocco was trying to be on the third place by trying to make a goal to force the result become draw and as i predicted in the past if croatia's defense was very solid to defend any attack that was coming from the morocco. I guess that if it can be said that if croatia is a bit superior compared with morocco in term of defense but morocco was lucky enough it can go to the semifinal and try to fight hard for the third place with croatia. I really appreciate the effort by morocco's players but that's not enough to be able to win the champion league.

I will side with Argentina because if they dont win now Messi will never get another chance to win.  Morocco did amazing even in the loss to Croatia, thats a former finalist and they scored making them for certain one of the best teams in the world for this generation quite an accomplishment and surprise to many around the world.

I completely agree with you, unfortunately they didn't achieve that feat, but they played very well again.

But Morocco's defeat today does not in any way diminish the feat carried out by Walid Regragui's team in Qatar. The campaign of the Moroccan national team is the best by an African team in the entire history of the World Cups. I've been researching here not to be wrong, and before that, only Cameroon in 1990, Senegal in 2002 and Ghana in 2010 came close, but didn't make it past the quarterfinals.

Who knows, maybe in 2026 an African team won't be able to reach the final of the world cup against a "favourite" team?
I hope that FIFA will continue to give African teams more and more space to showcase their talent, as they have already proved that they have a lot.

So many times people have been making wrong prediction about morocco caused by it was always facing the strong nation but after it has been beaten by france and then croatia and morocco deserve praises from its fans.

Both Morocco and Croatia fighting for the bronze medal shows how strong was the group where both of them started the World Cup journey. I agree that everyone thought that Belgium and Croatia would qualify for the knockout stage but Belgium underperformed while Morocco played great defensively. I can't believe that no one managed to score a goal against them until the semi final game! They only concede an autogoal against Canada. That's really an impressive achievement.

The success of Morocco is really a huge success for African football.
I remember Ghana at the 2010 World Cup and their penalty in the last minute of extra time against Uruguay. Then they failed to score a goal and in the end Uruguay qualified for the semi-finals.
It took 12 years for an African national team to reach the quarter-finals again and get a new chance to reach the semi-finals.
After South Korea's semi-final at the 2002 World Cup, not a single Asian national team came close to reaching the semi-finals.
All this shows that the successes of Asian and African national teams at world championships are still relatively rare and that European and South American national teams are still of higher quality and more successful at world championships.

Congratulations to Croatia for finishing 3rd at the World Cup. A well-deserved victory against Morocco. The Croatians were the better team in the first half, and after the break they easily maintained their one-goal advantage. I believe that the nod to the hosts of the tournament and the selection of the Qatari referee for this match was unnecessary, because he was by far the weakest actor of the show.
